  1. Good evening,

I am humbly requesting KSI formalize my title at KSI Greeting Card Czar.

I have an extensive portfolio of greeting cards made to improve morale and formalize greetings and reinforce good behavior (and discourage bad behavior and naughty thoughts.)

    Some examples I have are:

    • love letters to animals
    • promotion announcements
    • positive outcome reinforcement
    • silly little jokes to keep things light
    • eviction notice
    • and many more

    Evidence of creation attached.

I have tagged my character references and hope to have good feedback as I believe my greeting cards are the missing ingredient to the stew you got simmering on the stove.

@Impy (Formally I need to respond in this fashion) but me and you know each other so hurry and respond so I can get this squared away and for funsies I will ban Bane anyway! lol

Hello and good day, I can see that you hold all of the subscriber awards for at least 12 months, therefore you can choose 1 Supplemental award as well as me by proxy awarding you the whole years worth of Dono Awards. Can I please confirm that you would like the LGBTQ as your replacement award for January dono?

I skipped through what you said till the last sentence but yes I consent to what you said I want the ally award because I am an ally and wish to display it

Award-/-Achievement: Monthly Donor Award (LGTBQ thingy please)
Reason-/-Evidence: Image is attached. Bane told me my 1,000 bits donation counts towards a monthly donation total and I can claim the LGTBQ award for donating. If this is wrong, please give me the award anyway and ban Bane from providing bad advice in the Department Discord server. I’ve been a good boy and think I deserve most of the awards.

Oof to me, @ImPyyy 7, but to be honest... The fennec wasn't listed in the top 15 most popular cars, which is what I used top build the list. You had the Merc as an option. lol

That’s wild. The Fennec is one of the 2 main meta cars for the try-hards and pro players. It’s Octane and Fennec.

But it’s also a car you (at least used to) have to buy when it debuted last year, which might explain it. If they brought back the original Batmobile DLC, I’d love to buy that one and try it out.

  5. Having read through the other replies, I can’t help but agree that Drop deserves this award.

He’s been in KSI longer than most, and his influence and contributions are a testimony to his dedication and commitment to the community.

When I was still active within KSI, Drop was a leader who led by example. He took charge at Leadership Council meetings and made himself available for mentorship and conversations that would help grow better leaders around him and improve KSI for all members.

He led T&E through a period of remarkable growth and consistency and he’s been a hallmark on the Forums, helping making community members’ online experiences fruitful and positive.

Drop is a model leader and community member and he has long deserved this award. I will always be willing to go to bat for this man because of his high character and positive influence to KSI. KSI as its known wouldn’t exist without contributions and sacrifices from Drop, and to have that type of influence is rare and deserving of praise.

    Hey @Mr. DropShot

I share a lot of these same concerns that others have mentioned. I'm wondering if there's going to be any sort of Points or Scoring system related to the Division of the Year standings. Do you know if the Div OTY Standings will be released each month, just as the Divisional Cup Standings has been? Will there be any overlap? Ex: If one Division sweeps all of the Annual Events but earns 50 less points in the Div OTY Standings. Could they be crowned the Div OTY? Or would it be left up to the BoD or the Leadership Council to decide?

Additionally, would Long-Term Events such as HeadHunters be factored in the Div Cup Standings? Or Div OTY? Or potentially both?

I'm also curious as to the Social Media participation, and the Forums Challenge participation and where that falls into the equation. For example, if the Twitter Blitz coincides with the Fall Classic, would that count towards the Fall Classic scores and  Div Cup? Or Div OTY? Or both?

All in all I'm just looking for clarification and overall more detailed information than the summary and highlights that were posted by Impy onto the News Site.

Lastly, thank you for taking the time and listening to our questions and concerns.

    - KSI Uppish

We will be pushing more out through Clan Ops meetings this week and in the future.

To comment on your concerns though, the new Divisional Cup is just an award for points gained during our major events. For every major event, we produce a scoreboard. Only the events on that scoreboard go towards Divisional Cup.

As far as Division of the Year, we will be looking at options for that. The two most likely options are either 1) work off of accomplishments, Leaders, improvement, and other criteria to determine which division has performed the best while being an example of what KSI should stand for or 2) allow nominations and testimony from members to make the argument for Division of the Year. A hybrid of those two may also be considered.

But there is no longer going to be any type of scoreboard mechanism for Department or Forum participation in naming a Division of the Year. We don’t want people doing things or feeling pressured to do things for points or to make their Division look good. We just want people to participate in the areas they personally want to.

Long term events may be factored, but we do not have any on-going so we won’t commit to their inclusion until a groundwork is laid for those events.

So the underlying, and very clear message is, do things in this community because you want to. Not because you have to outwork everyone else. We want people to have fun, and it became evident through survey responses and communication with leaders that 3 more months of the previous system would have done more harm than good.

  8. King's history in KSI and long and full of accomplishments. He's a determined leader who has battled adversity to get where he is now.

While he wasn't always the ideal member, his perseverance and dedication to trying to improve as a leader and a person is admirable, and sets a standard for the commitment to excellence that KSI members would be wise to follow.

Every division he's been involved with has become stronger from his participation and presence, and I'm not sure there's a greater indication of cause and effect. While those divisions often face their own challenge -- what division doesn't? -- King's attitude and determination rubs off on those around him. He brings out the best of those leaders and members he works with, and they often have effusive praise about his knowledge, leadership, and empathy.

King absolutely deserves an award of this magnitude. He's been through a bunch in this community, and he's always trying to do more. He has risen to the top through those characteristics, and it's those traits that make him deserving of such a big award.

@impyyy is the support group still a thing?

Neither one of those members listed above is currently within KSI leadership at this point, so the team was disbanded.

We take the requirements of the HR staff very seriously, and we don't want to offer a service that is not overseen by trained personnel. If anything changes on that front, we will announce it.

How are we not using the popularity of Fortnite to convert more young impressionable children into joining our cult? Surely there are more vulnerable kids online now than ever before. What are we doing wrong? Or are kids just less easy to trick now-a-days?

heck of a question from the biggest roblox fan I know.

thanks for coming back, I hate it.

  11. Hola!

Thank you for donating to KSI. In August, for a 3-day span (Friday-Sunday) we will be hosting a Donor-only event for y'all to compete for prizes.

The question is: What games/gametypes do you want to play? Please respond and let us know what you all want to do!

  12. For being a donor to KSI, here is a sneak peak into Spring Break 2019. The penalty for sharing this schedule outside this area is... non-existent. But what's the perk of donating if the perks are shared? ;)

    Spring Break Schedule:

    Friday, March 22nd:

    • 8 p.m. KSILive: Spring Break Town Hall

    Friday, March 29th:

    • Spring Break Poll

    • 8 p.m. KSILive 2: Halo 5 (4v4 CTF - 1 or 2 teams/div)
    • Following PUBG: 7s GTA V (Sumo - 2 reps/div)

    Saturday, March 30th:

    • All Night: Trivia Night through Discord Chat*
    • 8 p.m KSILive: Rainbow Six Siege (3v3 Bomb - 2 teams/div - Single Elim)
    • 8 p.m. KSILive 2: Overwatch (4v4 TDM - 1 team/div)
    • Following R6S: 7s Prominence Poker (2 reps/div)

    • Following the TDM: 7s CoD Black Ops 4 (FFA - 2 reps/div)

*- The Trivia Night will be decided on the most correct answers made by members in chat from the respective divisions. Each member can only be picked as the correct answerer once, so the more members in chat, the better the chance of winning points for your division. Answering a trivia question correctly does not win you a money prize.

    ---

Prizes for the gameplay tournaments will be $10 codes, given out to the winners of each individual event. Total prizes for the competition will value ~$220.

The Twitch Sub Drawing will happen on Sunday evening. Anybody who subscribes to KSILive before 6 p.m. that night will be entered into the drawing for a larger prize. We may do more than one drawing, depending on Subscriptions. (Reminder: All Subscription revenue is used exclusively for prize pools for events, and the more Subs we get, the more prizes (and the bigger the prizes) we can offer.)

    ---

What do y'all think? Also, what ideas for giveaway prizes for the Sub Lottery Drawing may you be interested in? Feel free to reply here.
