    Proper Use of Chain of Command : 

    The Open Door Policy allows members to speak with leader's on any issues or ideas. However, if the topic of conversation is related to a squad issue or altercation then it needs to be handled by the appropriate leader (according to the chain of command) . Officers in the staff should be initially notified. If the issue cannot be handled by them then that squads General needs to be contacted. Then it follows to the Co-Founder, Founder (If Applicable), to the Divisional Leader. The first point of contact will need the time and opportunity to handle the issue so until that occurs do not continue to skip rank. 

     

    Work continues (officers on up)

    We are nearing the end of the year again and things naturally start to slow down a bit. It is important to remember that there is still work to be done in order to help maintain our squads. It is really easy to start getting a little too relaxed and forget the little things like posting role call and doing promotions. So please as always have fun and continue helping out when and where you can we are all in this wonderful community together.

    Change Is Good 

    Change can be difficult at times but it is a necessary step in KSI’s progression. We know that sometimes changes happen and you might not always see completely the reasons for said change, if that is the case it is best to ask in a civilized way the reasons behind the changes instead of jumping to conclusions. As KSI moves forward with a progressive mindset it is important to keep an open mind when it comes to trying new things.

    Performance Operations

    Applications For Performance Operations in regards to new Performance Officers are gonna be open until the 9th of December these applications apply to current or former 7s who have achieved the rank of Co-Founder an Up in the past or present 

    Productions

    The December Upload Studio Montage Competition and Clip Submission will be open from December 4th through 25th.

    We are looking for short funny clips for our YouTube series, Friday Fails. You can submit clips at anytime in the Productions section of the forums:

    Productions is looking for members who are interested in streaming Weekend Warfare's, Annual Events, and their own game play. Apply in the Join a Department section today!

    On Saturday (7th December), T&E will be hosting a tournament on Roblox Minigame Speedrun. This game is free to play!!! The tournament will begin promptly at 8pm EST, with sign-ups closing two hours prior to the event. (6pm EST)

    Late sign-ups will not be admitted.

    I would like to congradulate CYANIDE on there second split. It took a lot of hard work and dedication from all the officers and recruiters

    to make it happen. Also I want to congradulate KSI Fondu on his promotion to GEN of NAPALM and the promotions, a job well done.

    There I was in a party with some guy named KSIxRONL65x7 wondering what changes have been made to the officers positions and also any new additions to the recruiting process if any. He answered them with his vast knowledge of 6+ years assisting members already. So almost weekly ron helps out with general questions either for me or with squad members that are in a party with me. He deserves this award

    Reporting Issues: 

    Members and officers encountering issues that need to go up the chain of command need to be sure they are going up. Having an issue in the ranks of your division and not reporting it to the leadership can and will become very toxic. Withholding issues because “I did not want to say anything” is a problem and needs to be corrected immediately. We don't want it to wait and fester. Instead we want to get ahead of any issues and correct any issues before they become big issues resulting in rank suspension or removal from KSI. Waiting until an issue gets to where squads and divisions are losing members and officers is not healthy.

    Are you interested in becoming an officer? Squads are always looking for more people to help out and give back to this wonderful community. If you have some extra time on your hands becoming an officer is fairly simple. You can host game nights, promote people up maybe even help recruit someone and show them the KSI love. If your interested you can ask one of your officers or your GEN about it. They are always looking for more people to help out and they would certainly appreciate the help. The more helpers the lighter the workload.

    Be respectful  ( Repeat )

    Please remember that all of us come from different walks of life. Please treat everyone with dignity and respect that you would like to be shown. Also you should know your audience and if someone doesn't like where the conversation is going or if you step over the line you can apologize and move on to a different subject. Remember we are all here to game and have fun with like minded individuals.

    Squad Tag Security(Repeat)

    Please remember when we are recruiting new members that they DO NOT add the squad tags during the recruiting process. This could create a security issue for the squad and its members. The recruit clubs/tags are used to weed out and are a second line of defence to keep those who would try to get into KSI and create issues for the squads. The Squad tags are not to be added until they are promoted to PVT during the training portion. 

    Dirty laundry

    When airing one's dirty laundry or a beef with someone don't post it in the casual chat on discord. Be an adult and discuss it with either the person you might have a problem with or bring it up to an officer. The casual chat is there for people to chat and have fun. There is no need to bring negativity into the chat that just ruins everyone's day.

    Will be hosting a tournament on World of Tank: Game Type 2v2 Death Match. All tanks must be Tier3. The game is free to download. 

    The event will begin at 8pm EST with signups closing at 6pm EST.

    Late signups will not be permitted.

    Proxy posts must be approved by deptheads prior to the start of event (KSI DropShot 7/ KSI Galahad 7).

    Tardiness will be grounds for disqualification.

If a fellow officer is hosting a game night / meeting  and your online either by yourself or with fellow squad mates you can and should join the game night / meeting and bring others with you. We all know what it’s like to have no one show up to a game night / meeting but we can support each other, we’re all in this together

    Leadership Development Class Sign-Ups: (10/29/19) (Repeat)

    KSI Gruntier 7 week 4 class will be held on Oct 27th at 8pm EST. There are currently spots left open.

    This will be the last Leadership Development Class of 2019. After the first of the year we will start the classes again. 


     

    Relationships (Officers and up) (10/29/19)

    There is nothing wrong with dating a fellow KSI member we can't help who we fall for. It is important that if officers enter into a relationship with a member or fellow officer no matter the squad both are in. It is always a good idea to let your Gen or 7's staff know about said relationship. You don't have to go into details just have to say "hey im dating so and so" that way if there is any drama that might affect the squad or division , then the GEN or 7's staff can get ahead of the situation.

    Mentoring: (T10/29/19)

    Please remember to mentor our officers correctly and effectively. These future leaders depend on us to help them and guide them to be successful in the future for KSI. The biggest part of being a leader in this community is to be approachable and humble but also being the leader they and your members need.

    Squad goals and notes

    During the 2 week grace period of establishing a general observation of the squad state it appears that we have members online and some are active with the squad but many just do not communicate with squad members. KSI is what you make of it in order for activity to grow communication with other squad members are key.(emphasize Communication)

    We have acquired 2 new squad members Mikotowolf and Chronic Hux please add them and welcome them. Shout out to KSI ANGEL for the referral.

    in order for our activity base to grow we need to acquire some new members so recruiting and referrals will be an important for the next 2 weeks the squad is comprised of alot of different games but main games are Destiny 2 or COD  majority is Destiny 2  so recruit or referral must have D2 or COD we have 3 other squads that are majority COD so COD squad members can easily attend a KSI gamenight.

    Sundays KSI Athydian will be holding SUNDAY RAID DAY it will be a chill learning experience so please be patient. It will just be learning raids and enjoying a good sunday. (Note: A calm manner will be needed for attending these if you get frustrated " It is just a learning experience and Chill" we can always take a break. Time for the event to start is as soon as KSI Athydian gets online to 9pm central due to work. Event will be held every sunday unless KSI Athydian has a personal matter to attend and squad will be notified of cancellation.

    Squad function attendance requirement is to attend 1 every 2 weeks to ensure activity if time schedules are conflicting please communicate with RON, KIEDLL, OR ATHYDIAN again communication is key a squad should be able to talk and chill with each other you do not have to be on the same game 

    GAME NIGHTS WILL BE HELD ON  ANY GIVEN DAY IF YOU GET FIVE SQUAD MEMBERS IN A PARTY WITH AN OFFICER AND BRING IN FRIENDS OR MORE SQUAD MEMBERS THAT IS A GAME NIGHT  IT IS NOT DIFFICULT BUT PLEASE HAVE AN OFFICER IN THE  PARTY SO THEY CAN POST THE GAME NIGHT ON THE WD ACTIVITY LOG

    This squad thing is not that hard the remedy to fix the current state is to game with each other 

    Officer position state? yes we have officer positions open but those positions are key for the future of the squad if you are interested talk to KSI Athydian. Be aware that it will be a serious discussion an officer position is not just a title it is a leadership role where you will be counted on by other officers and squad members.
