KSI Spring 2018 Donation Drive   05/09/2018

If KSI has made a difference in your life and you want to make a greater difference in the community, please donate here. Every donation that KSI receives is immediately put toward tournaments, events and site upgrades that improve the KSI experience for all members. “The members are KSI’s driving force, and this donation drive is an opportunity to play a larger role in creating the future of KSI,” Chief Operating Officer KSI ImPyyy 7 said. “We’re continuing our efforts to make our events and support structure bigger and better than ever, and every donation goes toward that goal.” The emphasis of this drive is improving the swag we will be giving away for Spirit Week, as well as making some necessary improvements to our server/sites. However, no donation drive has ever had the rewards and incentives this drive has. During the current donation drive, any member who donates $75 or more will receive their own customized group on the forums, complete with unique color and sprite image next to their display name. Anyone who gives *any* amount — through donations, bits, or subscriptions to KSILive — is eligible for a VIP-only event that will be hosted at Spirit Week. Should you feel usual donations are too much, but still want to contribute, you can subscribe to our Twitch channel, KSILive. All subscribers will still receive a Twitch Sub award, the “I ❤️ KSILive” group, and be entered into the VIP only event at Spirit Week. This will allow members to show off the perks of contributing more to the community. As always, despite the rewards for higher-level awards, there are still perks for those who aren’t able to reach that threshold. Any and all donations will be thanked and rewarded with the “I ❤ KSI” member group on the forums, ‘Spring Chicken’ donation award, as well as specific tiered forums awards based upon the amount donated.  The awards will be: Platinum $1-$25
      Diamond, $26-$74
Oynx $75 Thank you, KSI Web Staff

When filling out this application, we in T&E expect you to have fully completed any and all necessary try-outs, and that you have named a team captain. Please also make sure to read through the Rules and Regulations thread for this season of REC League. Note: Like all activities hosted by T&E, the C.o.C must be upheld by any and all members participating in REC League activities and matches. Any breach of the C.o.C must be reported to staff members and will be handled by both clan-ops divisional leaders and the T&E REC League staff running the season. That being said, any and all participants should by now have read and fully understand the Code Of Conduct. Once again, do not break the Code Of Conduct. Doing so could result in the disqualification of your team for a single match, or the entirety of this REC League season. Only two teams per division. Remember to keep your roster updated throughout the season. Rosters must be posted and updated by the team captain only. 3. T&E Recreational Leagues: 2018 Format Overview: The Recreational Leagues are specifically designed to cater to those competitive game titles that a majority of the community may not play, but still have a large player base within our divisions and squads. Structured similarly to the popular Head-Hunters seasons, the REC leagues offer a more casual approach to competitive gameplay, while still giving those serious players in the community other teams to test their metal against. Although REC will not have the stat tracker and awards that the actual HH season will, players will still have access to a team roster/schedule, record/seating tracker, and a post season play off tournament to decide each season’s winning team “REC Warriors”. Below contains the rules, regulations, and game-types that will be used for the 2018 REC League. Rules & Team information: As stated earlier, the REC leagues are a T&E related event and are structured similarly to Head-Hunters thus the rules of both still apply here. However, with this league being more casual than HH, there are some additional adjustments to the rules that are mentioned below: Each team will have a team captain in charge of reporting games held, keeping the team accountable for completing matches as listed on the schedule, and updating team rosters. There will be a limit of 2 TEAMS PER DIVISION allowed to sign up per REC League (No more than 8 members per team) This is a KSI exclusive event. Only KSI members rank CPL or higher may participate. Code of Conduct does apply always both before, during, and after the match. Disrespect/hurtful comments or messages will not be tolerated. No hacking, modding, or glitching Not T-bagging (Seriously, just don’t) Failure to comply with/violation of any of the rules listed above may result in disqualification from matches or the league entirely. Team Formation & Try-outs: Even though each division can register 2 teams per league, the members of this team must be selected via try-outs to ensure that all members are given a fair chance to get on the team. Captains running 4v4 or 6v6 in private matches and recording stats to determine team placement is an adequate way of doing so. Please Refer to the Divisional Head-Hunters: Updated rules and regulations thread on the forums for more information. Game Modes: Overwatch – A mixture between Control and Escort Rainbow Six Siege – A mixture between Secure Area and Bomb
  4. Destiny 2: HH Roster Signups

This thread is to be used to log your team for the upcoming Destiny 2 Head-Hunters season. When filling out this application, we in T&E expect you to have fully completed any and all necessary try-outs, and that you have named a team captain (Captain or higher within clan-ops) and a team manager (Co-Founder or higher within clan-ops). Please also make sure to read through the Rules and Regulations thread for this season of HeadHunters. Note: Like all activities hosted by T&E, the C.o.C must be upheld by any and all members participating in Head-Hunter activities and matches. Any breach of the C.o.C must be reported to staff members and will be handled by both clan-ops divisional leaders and the T&E Head-Hunters staff running the season. That being said, any and all participants should by now have read and fully understand the Code Of Conduct. Once again, do not break the Code Of Conduct. Doing so could result in the disqualification of your team for a single match, or the entirety of this HeadHunters season. Only one team per division. Remember to keep your roster updated throughout the season. Rosters must be posted and updated by the team manager only. 5. Destiny 2 - HH Season Format (2018)

Destiny 2 Head Hunters Season: 2018 Format Overview: This document will cover all the need to know information in regards to the 2018 Destiny 2 Head Hunters season. Like the previous season, teams will have access to the personal stat tracker, schedule/team roster, new awards and so on. Below is the decided format in terms of pre-match duties, in match game game-play, and post-game necessities to ensure a smooth, well run experience for all those involved. Pre-Match Duties: Every team will have both a team captain and team manager. It is the responsibility of those two individuals and the reciprocal individuals on the opposing team to meet before the match, confirm the match will take place, as well as review the following topics: Roster Accuracy: It is the job of the team captain/manager to confirm that the members playing for the opposite team in the match are in fact listed on their team roster BEFORE beginning the match. Failure to do so will result in whatever outcome that match may end in, win or lose. Host: As there cannot be a neutral host in Destiny 2 private matches, it is the responsibility of the team managers/captains to agree on what team will host the match. If a host cannot be agreed upon, please contact KSI Gambit 7 to resolve the issue. It is encouraged that both teams come to a reasonable agreement on what is best for everyone. Confirm Map Selection: The map for each week will be pre decided by KSI Gambit 7 and will be posted as part of the team schedule. Captains/Managers need to confirm that the map of the week is the map being played on. No exceptions. Match Game-Play: Each match is to be played as a 4v4 competitive match with no exceptions (4v3 not allowed). This Head Hunters season will differ from those of the past as it will include both a TDM and objective based game-type per match. This being said, each match will be played as a best 2/3 series and will be composed as follows: Round 1 (Clash): Round 1 will be a straight forward TDM style game of clash played to the default settings goal of 50 kills. First team to reach 50 kills or whichever team in the lead when time runs out will be the winner of round 1. Round 2 (Control): Round 2 will be an objective game of control where each team will push for zone domination. Settings again will be default, first to score 100 points wins. IMPORTANT: Reminder that these games are best 2/3. If team A wins both Round 1 and 2, they will receive the win for the match and there will not be a Round 3. Round 3 (Survival): If both teams are tied after round 2, they will enter sudden death in round 3 playing a game of survival which is both a TDM and objective style game mode. Each team is limited to only 6 re-spawns for the entire team. When the counter reaches 0, members will not respawn after death. The team with the last living member wins however, if for some reason both teams remain alive, a cap point will spawn allowing the capturing team members to win the point for their team. In the event of serious Lag: Within the first two minutes of the match, if there are connection issues for most of the team (2 or more), that team is to have all players crouch and stand still to signal the other team to stop the game. The L-A-G experienced must be substantial and must also be recorded for proof. IMPORTANT: If there is no proof of substantial parafor multiple members of the team requesting new host, it will result in a loss for that round and the match will move immediately to phase 2. Please send all recorded evidence to KSI Gambit 7 for evaluation of rematch qualification. Post-Game Necessities: As stated before, teams will have full access to the personal stat tracker as well as the team schedule and roster which will contain current team records and standings. To accurately portray this information, it is imperative that team managers report the results of each round played of every game to KSI Gambit 7 in the specified format: Matchup: Date: Winner: Picture of stats: IMPORTANT: Both team managers must submit a picture of each round played to confirm winners and stats Pictures submitted NEED TO BE EASILY LEGIBLE and should include both teams stats from each round. If we cannot read the stats, the accurate numbers for your players will not be submitted and could affect their abilities to win awards. Overall the T&E staff hopes to deliver another well run, competitive, fun season for those participating and wish all divisions the best of luck! 6. Tournaments & Events: Divisional Head Hunters Overview: Along with the regular activities associated with the Tournaments & Events section (i.e. Weekend Warfare, Weekday Warfare, Turkey Bowl, Spirit Week, and other seasonal events), T&E is also responsible for the design, launch, and completion of the community wide Head Hunters seasons. This document will outline not only the details of what the head hunters season entails, but also the responsibilities of staff members and participating team captains to ensure a successful and fair season. What is Head Hunters? In simple terms, Head Hunters is designed to implement an inter-community competitive atmosphere that encourages the teams representing each division to prove their prowess and dominance over a certain game. The selected games that will serve as the “theme” for each season are comprised of the top 3 first person shooter franchises to date (Halo, Destiny, Call of Duty) but are subject to change. The season consists of a span of several weeks in which the participating teams will play a 12-16 game schedule against opposing divisions ultimately leading up to “play-offs”. Like any sporting event’s play-offs, teams will be seated based off their record during the season and will play in a bracket based face-off until only one team remains and are therefore named the season “champions”. Formation of Head Hunter Teams and Captains (Amended): To conduct a Head Hunters season, it is essential to establish teams that will represent their respective division in the tournament. These teams will be comprised exclusively of CURRENT KSI MEMBERS RANK CPL OR ABOVE (Now including Co-Founders to Division Leaders). Additions of non KSI members to team rosters will result in suspension and possible disqualification of the offending team. Furthermore, team rosters will consist of a minimum of 6 members but will not exceed the cap of 8 members per team. Members of this roster will be decided by “try-outs” hosted by the team captain to ensure an equal and fair chance to all applicants. Although members of divisional leadership for that division (Rank Co-Founder or higher) will be in charge of managing the team and relaying information such as match dates and game-types for the week, team captains will ultimately be in charge of running the team. After appointed captain by the team manager, the responsibilities of said captain include but are not limited to: Conducting try-outs and assigning roster seats Listing team weekday availability Hosting team practices and meetings Meeting with the captain of the opposing team pre/post-match Handling any disputes, interferences, or rescheduling Accountability for team actions and behavior Team Seating & Challenges: After team tryouts are held and captains have filled the roster for their respective teams, the final step in team completion is the assigning of “seats” or rankings to the individual members. These seats are numbered 1-8 (or one seat per roster member) with the first seat representing the most skilled individual on the team. The assigning of seats will be decided by the following process: All members on the roster (including the team captain) will play in several free-for-all matches hosted and dictated by the team manager who will select the maps. Each match will be played on the specified map with default time limits and score set to 20 kills. At the end of each match, the team member who comes in last place will be eliminated and therefore assigned their seat number (i.e. first person to lose out of the 8 man roster will be eliminated and assigned seat #8, so on and so forth) In the event of a tie for last place: The member with the most deaths will be eliminated. If for some reason both members have the same kills and deaths, the winner will be decided by highest point score between the two. This process will continue until there is one winner who is then crowned seat #1, which then concludes the seating process. Seat numbers will ultimately be used to decide which members are the “starters” for each roster. Typically for games such as Halo and Destiny, seats 1-4 will be the starting members while seats 5-8 serve as reserves or substitutes in the event of the absence of starting members at game time. For games such as Call of Duty however, starters will be seats 1-5 due to larger team size games and seats 6-8 will then serve as alternates. The most important thing to note about team composition however, is that SEAT NUMBERS ARE NOT PERMANENT. Members of the team can challenge their teammates who are in higher seats for the opportunity to take their seat and move up in position, in hopes of either reaching the #1 seat or more commonly, to become a starter. The rules for seat challenges are as follows: Each member of the team is allotted ONE CHALLENGE PER WEEK. Regardless of if the challenging member wins or loses, that member will not be eligible to issue another challenge for one week. Challenges run on a Sunday-Saturday basis, eligibility renewing on the following Sunday beginning the “new week”. Members can ONLY challenge the seat DIRECTLY ABOVE THEM. (For example, seat #8 may challenge seat #7 for their position, but not seats 1-6.) Once the issue has been challenged, the member being challenged for his/her seat then has 1-3 days to respond to said challenge. Response includes acknowledgement of challenge as well as a day and time for the challenge to take place. If the challenged member does not respond to the challenge issued within the period of 1-3 days, their spot is therefore forfeited to the challenger and receive the one seat demotion. Members on rank suspension, LOA, or other family/medical leave approved by divisional leadership are exempt from all challenges until their return. In match Challenge rules are as listed below: All challenges are to be supervised by either the Team Captain or the Team Manager. Challenges will be played on a best 2 out of 3 game basis. Score will be set to 15 kills per match with all other settings set to default. Both the challenger (game 1) and the defender (game 2) will select a map. In the event of a game 3 being played, the presiding captain or manager will select the map for the final match to ensure equal advantage. The winner of the match will be awarded (or retain) the higher seat while the loser will be demoted (or retain) the lower seat. Roster Progression/Changes Post Tryouts: In the event of a vacant seat on any team roster (via a members leaving/removal from the team or any unforeseen circumstance) a secondary tryout is to be held by the team captain/manager for all those members wishing to fill the vacant seat. Tryouts will be identical to the initial system listed above, and the winner will be the member added to the new roster. Things to keep in mind: When a member leaves or is removed from the team, all current seats advance upwards one seat if possible (i.e. if seat 4 leaves, seats 5-8 would move up one seat) The newest member of the team will immediately be placed in the lowest seat available, no exceptions. IMPORTANT: All roster changes and updates must be submitted to KSI Gambit 7 at least 1 day before the next scheduled game. If roster updates are not submitted by teams accordingly, they will therefore be disqualified from any match played with the illegal roster and will take the forfeit loss. Rescheduling and Game Disputes: Captains of each divisions Head Hunters Team are responsible for the organization and timeliness of their team on match-days and at game time. If for any reason a team is unable to play on designated game days or times, it is that captains job to contact the opposing captain to reschedule the match 2 HOURS BEFORE THE TIME LISTED ON THE SCHEDULE. Failure to do so will result in an automatic forfeit of the lacking team. Any instances of teams not showing up without prior notification to the opposing captain will also be grounds for an automatic forfeit. Rescheduled matches are to be held within a week of the initially scheduled time and are to be approved by both captains. IMPORTANT: Rescheduling is only to be done in case of emergency or other familial/ work related duties that would prevent a team from having enough players to participate in the match. Rescheduling matches because of the starting seats availability is NOT permitted. This situation is why you have reserve members to fill in if starters are absent. Please be courteous when rescheduling match times. Some of our members do not live in the United States and have other things to do outside of Xbox. If an agreement cannot be reached on a reschedule date/time, please contact KSI Gambit 7 If during the gameplay there is apparent parawhich causes unfair or one-sided game play, captains are permitted to dispute the game results with T&E officials. When disputing game results, RECORDED EVIDENCE MUST BE PROVIDED. Word of mouth with no substantial evidence will not be reviewed. When evidence is submitted for review, T&E officials will review submissions and will decide whether the game stands (no change) or is overturned and the match will be replayed. Rules and Regulations: Head Hunters is a KSI hosted event which means it is therefore subject to all correlating rules as listed in the Code of Conduct. Win or lose, teams are expected to be respectful and sportsmanlike both during and after Head Hunter matches. Rules for the season include: No T-Bagging No disrespectful comments or messages during or after the match No Aimbot, hacking, glitching, or modding No substitution of non KSI members or members not on the official roster Breaching of any of the rules listed above are grounds for automatic loss, suspension, and possible disqualification of the team for the season.

Venting Downwards • Remember that venting downwards is unhealthy and can cause unnecessary drama. • Ideally venting upwards can get the important issues to the leaders that can handle said issues.
  9. KSI BadKitty 7 - Multiple Nominations

I cant see Cats name on an award nomination and not post to witness for it because, as Ive stated before, there is truly not an award that she currently does not deserve or has not earned. After the year and half that I've spent working practically hand in hand with kitty from a clan ops level (from Gen-Director) and web ops (T&E, Performance Operations, Forum Moderators), there isnt anything I haven't seen her do yet she simultaneously never ceases to amaze. Part of the name of the award is Outstanding and as anyone who has been fortunate to work with cat knows, using that word to describe her work would be modest. I have never seen someone have there hand in so many different aspects and parts of this community from top to bottom and manage to give 120% effort to them all without missing a beat. Her dedication and commitment to this community is unrivaled and its shown by the amount of respect and notoriety shes gained in her short time here. It's been a privilege to work alongside her for so long and now that shes become a fellow director, I can not wait to see what's next to come for her and what she brings to KSI. This new schedule spaces everything out over the course of 9 weeks instead of 4, and gives divisions more flexibility, choice, and freedom in what they are offering to their members in every 2 month timespan. Please take a look! It can be found in the PO Workshops section of the forums. Again, this is meant to be easier to follow, understand, and implement. Your division Performance Officers will also be able to explain these changes further. The new schedule is set to start on May 13th. The Week 1 Class will be the Basic Training Workshop - Performance Ops is currently in the process of writing new workshops and guides. During the current donation drive, any member who donates $75 or more will receive their own customized group on the forums, complete with unique color and sprite image next to their display name and be eligible for an upcoming VIP only event.(edited) This VIP only event will happen during Spirit Week, and details will be released soon when the Spirit Week 2018 schedule is released. Should you feel usual donations are too much, but still want to contribute, you can subscribe to our Twitch channel, KSILive. All subscribers will still receive a Twitch Sub award, the “I ️ KSILive” group, and be entered into the VIP only event at Spirit Week. This will allow members to show off the perks of contributing more to the community. As always, despite the rewards for higher-level awards, there are still perks for those who aren’t able to reach that threshold. Any and all donations will be thanked and rewarded with the “I KSI” member group on the forums, ‘Spring Chicken’ donation award, as well as specific tiered forums awards based upon the amount donated. 12. Drama Queen Gambit/Veriitas

@VeRiiTaS 7....I just missed you so much. Please dont ever scare me like that again. @I am FuzzyMeep™ thank you for sharing our tale with the world. Although I can still taste the cigarettes and spent A LOT of money on spray paint, nothing feels better than being reunited.
  13. April 2018 OTM nominations (Closing April 30)

Division Leader Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSIfiremomma7 (Division Leader - DL) Link to forums Account: @KSIfiremomma7 Reasoning: After working with DL for the past few months as their director, the one thing that became immediately apparent was just how short of a hand momma has been dealt time and time again. From abusive leadership, to severely undertrained officers, fluff counts the highest Ive ever seen, and just all around in activity, it was safe to say that momma was dealing with a titanic situation. Yet despite all of this, she not only took this as a learning experience, but was able to grow from it and has worked hard enough to bring an entire division back from the brink with constant effort and unwavering leadership. She is highly revered by her members due to her willingness to listen, her immediate reaction to every situation that requires her attention, and most importantly, the compassion and kindness she passes along to all of her members which has made her not only a leader, but a friend. Although sometimes over emotional (snowflake), momma has proven that she has an adept leader and one who gets better when the pressure starts building, not one who folds. She absolutely deserves Div leader of the month. Co-Division Leader: Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSI Gruntier 7 (Co-Division Leader - DM) Link to forums Account: @KSI Gruntier 7 Reasoning: After having the privilege of working with Eli as both part of my Divisional 7 staff and later as his director, It is truly incredible to see the progress hes made in both personal and leadership qualities. Although quiet at first, Gruntier has always had an extremely level head in any situation and a rather calming demeanor that naturally puts those around him at ease regardless of the situation. Hes not easily shaken and always stands firm to his beliefs yet in situations of conflict, is never bias or to swift to cast judgement. He is always going above and beyond when it comes to his responsibilities to his divisions and is the first to volunteer himself and his time when something needs to be done. He has become an excellent leader and is someone with a very bright future ahead of him in terms of leadership potential. Founder: Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSI Prophecy v7 (Founder - DL) Link to forums Account: @KSI PROPHECY v7 Reasoning: When thinking of someone to nominate for founder, no one comes to mind more than Prophecy. With so many holes in the DL staff, Prophecy has bent over backwards in order to give his all to every squad or position that needs him. His work in Ares DL has absolutely saved that squad between playing with their members, retraining the officer staff, and helping to solve issues or meet needs that come up. He is always the first responder when there's an a problem or a member needs help and his constant activity has been a savior to the division. Prophecy is never one to have idle hands and is always pushing himself and others around him to be better and do more. Co-Founder: Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSI Blood 7 (Founder - DM) Link to forums Account: @KSI Blood 7 Reasoning: The most outstanding trait about Blood that almost anyone who knows him could tell you, is his loyalty to his friends and his people. In this case, Bloods loyalty and 110% commitment to every member of DM and anything they need to thrive is truly something I wish was replicated more often. There isnt a time of the day where Blood isn't in the know or has his ear to the ground with the members to find out what else can be improved and done better. He has done a lot of working in improving himself as a leader and it shows by the amount of respect hes gained in DM. Definitely one to watch in the future. General: Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSI SourPeaches Link to forums Account: @KSI SourPeaches Reasoning: Peaches has been an absolute force to be reckoned with in DL and has made her squad the cornerstone of her division. She has gone above and beyond in everything she does in terms of squad leadership and her duties as a general. She took a group of members that was a collection of remnants from two failing squads (about 30 members) and have turned it into a thriving squad with 60 plus members and higher activity levels than they've seen in the past 3 months. She is constantly brainstorming new ideas to drive recruitment, promoting her members to get involved on the forums, and trying to build relations with every squad in her division. She has proven herself to be an adept general and hopefully will go very far in her division. Forum Staff (Mod): Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad): KSI Badkitty 7 (Division Leader - DM) Link to forums Account: @KSI BadKitty 7 Reasoning: I really don't know someone (besides best friend RiiOt) that deserves this award more than the Kitty. Cat spends about 80% of every single day on the forums reading posts, watching new topics, or completing the hundred tasks that she fulfills while on the site. From all the duties and responsibilities of a Senior mod, to also largely participating in the join/re join section in the quickest, most efficient ways possible, I don't think there's anything on the forums that she doesn't have a hand in or do well. On top of this she has gone out of her way to train me in everything I needed to know becoming a baby mod (multiple times at that since I was quite the slow learner) and is always willing to do the same for others. Im pretty sure she wouldn't be able to function without the forums and I mean that with all sincerity.

  15. Overview: This thread is specifically designed to present an accurate representation off post season play-offs for those teams currently participating in this years Call of Duty: WWII Head Hunters season. In this thread you will find: The rules and regulations set forth specifically for all play off matches An updated list of match ups and map selections for those teams who progress in the tournament Any additional disclaimers, notifications, or disqualifications dictated by HH Moderator: KSI Gambit 7 If there are any questions, comments, or issues, these are to be reported directly to KSI Gambit 7 through the following means of communication: Discord: Gambino#5224 Kik: xxGambitIXV Xbox: KSI Gambit 7 Rules & Regulations: The rules and regulations for play-offs are identical to those of the regular season (listed in the Rules and Regulations thread in the Head Hunters sub forum) except with the following additions: All play off games up until the final match will be played as a best 2/3 style. The final match however will be a best 3/5 series. All games will be played the same day on the same map (i.e. no playing game 1/3 today and game 2/3 tomorrow etc.) The team with the HIGHEST SEAT will decide which side they would like for game 1 (Axis or Allies) The team with the LOWEST SEAT will decide which side they would like for game 2 (Axis or Allies) In the event of a game 3, the team with the LOWEST SEAT will decide which side they will play on. All games will be played on a 5v5 basis, this is MANDATORY. If a team only has 4 members, they are at the mercy of the team with 5 members. IF that team agrees to play 4v5 then the game will be permitted. IF the team declines, the team with 4 members will be disqualified. All games are to be played within 4 days of the originally posted date. No exceptions. Example: If matchups are announced to start Tuesday the 12th but one team needs to reschedule in order to have 5 members, they have until the 16th to reschedule or the team will automatically forfeit. In the case of a needed reschedule, BOTH TEAM MANAGERS must agree to the newly rescheduled date of the match. There will be no complaints of L-A-G or complaining about HOST. If teams can not agree to which side can host the game, ahead of time, a Neutral Host (NH) is to be requested per KSI Gambit 7 to host the match. If you know that your members struggle with connection and foresee this being an issue, it is the teams responsible to reach out for a neutral host, there will be no after the fact complaints accepted. 19. Division Meeting Notes 4/4/18

Department Notes: Performance ops: -The Community Education Project is in full swing throughout KSI. -For those unsure, the Community Education Project is a series of new workshops, training guides, and other resources that has been created and implemented to replace our aging system of workshops that hadn't change much in the better part of a decade. The process was long and thought out (starting in October), incorporating all kinds of leaders and members of KSI. We truly believe what has been created brings forth the best that this community has to offer. This, and other projects like it will help to ensure that KSI is around for decades to come. -Last month LS, ES, and DM completed a trial of the new workshops (Pilot Program). Through them we got excellent feedback and made changes. These divisions have already begun seeing results -All other divisions are beginning the Pilot Program this month. Divisional leaders, if there are any questions, comments, or concerns please talk to eithe the Percormance Officers listed in the private message you received, or contact KSI Gandhi 7. -This is supposed to be a collaborative process. If at any point you have an issue, please talk it through with the Performance Ops staff. We are humans and realize that not everyone takes to changes like these immediately. Conversations are better than arguments. -In the next few months PO will also be rolling out new workshops (forums and recruiting), training and recruiting guides, a new KSI Welcoming Committee and much more! -Finally, all Generals and up please add KSI Gandhi 7. I will personally try to speak with anyone who has questions, concerns, or ideas. PO is here as a resource for you. Help us make sure we are meeting your needs Tournaments & Events: - On Saturday, April 7th, T&E will be hosting a tournament on Halo 5. It will be a FFA, with World Championship Series settings. 21. KSI BadKitty 7 OS Lvl 1

Of course I'll witness for this: I have said this many times before and I will start by saying this again. When nominating Cat for any award there are two things that remain constant. First and foremost, there is not an award designed by this community yet that she does not deserve nor is there one that can truly thank her for the time, dedication, and energy that she has invested into this community. Secondly, when nominating Cat, it is 3x easier to compile a list of things she hasn’t done than a list of things she has done and is involved in and if that doesn’t say enough about her character, I don’t really know what does. When I first met Kitty she was KSI KillrKitty who had just recently changed her gamertag (not without much convincing) and had no aspirations whatsoever of attaining rank or joining departments in KSI. Beyond this, we did not get along very well at all and the word hate was actually used on her side of things very often (lol). Fast forward to now, I think one of the most cherished memories I will have after leaving this community and one of the things that Im most thankful for now, is being able to witness the absolute growth and development of both her KSI career and as a person. Having worked with Cat for over 1 year now in both the clan ops side (running DM and eventually becoming her Director) and web ops (Fellow PO officers, Forum Moderators, and Head/Co-Head of T&E) I can personally vouch for the fact that there isn’t a single aspect of anything she does that she does not pour her 110% into. I would bet my career in saying that there is not another leader in this community of her rank or below that stay up later, spend more time, or devote more of themselves to their work in this community. I have always said that what I’m most thankful for in KSI is all of the benefits we as members receive on a daily basis however with Shanda, I think it may actually be the opposite. Through her work in departments (AAP, Perfomance Operations, Senior Moderator, Tournaments & Events) and in Clan Ops (taking over DM with 220 members on the G14 2 months ago who now sit at 305 applying for Flagship status) , she has proven time and time again that she IS a benefit to the community in itself and myself, those who witness for her here, and a plethora of other members from ranks Private all the way to the board, are extremely grateful for what she has done and the lives and careers she’s changed in the process. I’m sure many people other than myself can say the same in saying that this award is just a small way of saying thank you to Kitty for all she has done. I view her as a partner, a best friend, a pirate queen and although she may be of lower rank, most certainly a mentor and outstanding leader. She truly deserves the award of outstanding service level 1 plus about 19 more levels. Mickey Mousin it bud. XD. - Gambit

Rejoin Moderator Applications: - Rejoin Mod applications have officially been opened on the forums - If you're interested an applying, please fill out the app and after reviewed, a member of the Senior team will reach out to you for further instruction. New Member Growth and Retention: - It is essential when recruiting and bringing in new members to FOLLOW UP AND INTRODUCE - New members will not want to stay around if they are not introduced to fellow squad mates or shown just what we do here in KSI. Invite them to games and parties and make them feel comfortable. - PASS ON INFORMATION: Make sure that all new members are taught about the forums, squad structure, and gamenights so they can personally craft their KSI experience and make it what they want for themselves. - WE ACCEPT MEMBERS OF ALL SKILL LEVEL: Although we have members that are extremely competitive, we do have members that just like to play and be involved. Please make sure we include all members equally or maybe find a new game to play with others. 7 Staff Tension and Conflict: - If you have an issue with fellow members of any officer rank especially in divisional leadership (7 staff and above), these conflicts need to be handled in a mature and private setting. - There is no reason that two leaders in the same division cant settle an issue and work together if needed like adults. - IF mediation is needed: Reach out to your Director for help so they can sit in and help both parties reach a happy medium.

Venting down causes issues and discrepancies. Lower ranking members do not need to know the issues we struggle through as leaders, especially with each other. Problems should be vented about in the proper atmosphere where they can be handled and solved. Workshops: - Let's make sure workshops (SGTS, recruiting, officers etc) are being hosted weekly. - Make them fun and engaging for the members (Hide and Seek, Michael Myers, etc with a Q&A) - Divisional 7 staff should be making sure these are happening. Knowledge is the key to success! G14's & Clubs: - It is crucial for generals to make sure that their squad tags/ clubs match up with G14's (This includes EXACT proper spelling of gamertags) - Make sure that as you are promoting recruits or removing fluff, these people are also removed from the recruit club if promoting or removed from the squad tag if fluffing. - 7's need to be holding your Generals accountable but not touching anyone's G14 for them - IMPORTANT: please make sure that the privacy settings for squad tags is correct as well. Lets keep our members safe. Creating Schedules and Activity Awareness: - Officers of every squad should create a weekly schedule for their members to access with dates and times of gamenights, workshops, or meeting times. This organization will boost participation and attendance! - Sending out a message in one place about a gamenight or squad event isn't enough! Utilize the forums, discord, and squad tag/ clubs in order to get the message out to as many people as possible. - Follow through with events, if you schedule a workshop or gamenight, make sure to execute it or have a plan B. Divisional Transfer: - As of now, the new time period for divisional transfers is 3 days barring any unforeseen circumstances - This is to make the process easier so members can find a place that better suits them but is NOT to be abused
