: AWOL deserves this for so many reasons.The first and foremost is his dedication to the squad and to KSI as a whole. He works tirelessly to maintain the squad in all aspects. He is always courteous and maintains an open mind when ever he is confronted with the many situations that arise within the squad. Through it all he still finds the time to help anyone in game and out. He goes above and beyond in making sure his squadmates are ok even in rl. He is truly an exemplary leader within KSI. He is almost always readily available for a chat and brings a level head to any encounter. As a GEN he has continued beyond simply bringing Discord squad back from the brink of implosion, and pushed it to strengthen the bonds of his fellow squad memebers and stimulate strong and healthy growth.

Reason they deserve this: Whiskey is a driving force within Discord squad. He continues to promote steady growth while at the same time fostering and assisting every new recruit. He is always down to have some plain ol gaming fun or help a squadmate in need. He continues to bring fresh and innovative ideas to KSI while strongly sticking to the core value of "no member left behind". His recruiting skills are exemplary and he has done an amazing job in assuring that every officer (myself included) is comfortable and capable to do all the necccesary tasks we have as officers. I truly believe he will make an excellent GEN one day.

Reason they deserve this: Peppers has risen to power house levels in short order and in the best of ways. She took to the officer roll with a professionalism and vigor that inspires. She is always quick to tasks and has shown an incredible skill for getting ahold of folks where others may have had trouble doing so. She is timely and excellent with handling promotions and trainings. She is eager to help whenever help is needed. She is a joy to game with and is an amazingly unique person who knows how to laugh and make others laugh. Her generosity is something wonderful, going above and beyond in helping out a fellow gamer in need. She did so without request and sought no reward for it, she helped out simply for the sake of helping. Selfless and friendly, she has been an amazing addition to Discords officer ranks and I look forward to seeing how far she goes, as I truly believe she will continue to be an inspiration to her fellow kSI members.

Reason this member deserves this: infinity is one of the greatest members a squad could ask for. He truly shines as a gamer, friend and companion in arms. He is very active within the squad as well as in KSI as a whole, taking part in HH and WW, and still continues to exemplify the KSI moto of "no gamer left behind" as he constantly jumps to arms to assist a fellow gamer in a difficult boss fight or to make the final push to progress further in game. He is quick witted and brings a great personailty to any game night. His flair for life is infectious and his passion for gaming burns bright.

Whiskey has become such a positive force in our squad. He personally volunteered to get all of the officers trained and continues to personally train new officers. He led the squad while our general AWOL was on LOA. Whiskey got people interested in game nights with his posts in our discord squad chat. He made sure the squad ran smoothly in our generals absence. He always makes game nights fun for everyone that attends and makes sure it runs smoothly. He is the right hand man of our general and is always available if a problem arises or if a promotion needs to be done. He really is a shining example of what it means to be a good officer and member of KSI.

   MeShell is still farely new to our 7 staff here in DM, but you would never have thought it. From day 1 she has just hit the ground running. Getting to know her second squad more. Helps out with gamenights, recruits, training new officers, and reaching out to members to get to know them. She is always coming up with different ways to get people involved, and has been a great help getting squads moving in the right direction.

Joe has taken his new squad and super sized it. It has become one of our best and most active squads here in DM. He is always getting to know his members any way he can, and wanting to help as much as possible. He is a recruiting master, and it's amazing to see how close he becomes with each and every recruit he gets. Always inviting members around just to hang out and talk or just game with. He is truly the definition of leading by example.

Uppish has played a key role in getting his squad back on track and moving in the right direction.  From doubling up on gamenights to just hanging out with members. He is always seeking out more knowledge and ways to help the members in the squad and the division.  Hes a little rough around the edges sometimes, but is always trying to improve himself. He works hard and never gives up. I really look forward to seeing what this guy brings to the table in his future endeavors.

I dont really know Sgt Peppers on a personal level, but she has been an awesome officer. Always looking to help out in any way possible.  Hosting gamenights, getting to know the members, recruiting, and more. Always seeking out knowledge so she can improve. All the members in her squad have only great things to say about her. It has been quite inspiring to see the amount of effort and care she puts into being not only an officer, but a member of KSI.

DontAsk has been a HUGE help with getting venom active and moving forward again. Her Gamenights are always a blast, people just hanging out and playing games. Everyone flocks to her when she gets online. DontAsk is always going the extra mile to make sure that the members are well taken care of and happy. Downloads games so she can play with people. Sending out encouraging messages when someone is feeling down, and just spending time to get to know each member as an individual.  She embodies what it means to be a leader, and what it means to be a member of KSI.

Dragons and myself didn't always see eye to eye in some areas. This does not change the fact that the man works tirelessly for KSI and is someone we all feel we can approach with any issue at any time . I often see him up working in the wee hours of the night making sure everything is running smoothly. Ive also seen Dragons works first hand to alleviate tensions and disagreements no matter how minor or major the disagreement. Good sense of humor and solid work ethic go a long way ! Dragons is someone Id want on board in most any situaton that could arise in KSI.

Awol is a man of vision , for his members  , his squad , his division and KSI at large . More importantly , He is  a man of action ! Ive never seen ( and doubt I ever will see ) this man back down from a situation that needs a good hard look or some questioning or even some good ol fashioned hard work . He has an innate ability to see the logic in any situation he is faced with. Furthermore he works tirelessly for KSI , anytime a member needs ANYTHING , Awol will drop what he is doing and not only help the person in question , but he will stay and see the problem through to fruition all with a pleasant demeanor and the patience of a Saint. Awol personally takes the time to see that his team is educated and given resources to accomplish any task all while maintaining the humility to seek help if he himself does not readily know the answer. I feel quite sure Awol will be a 7 soon and a perfect addition to that team as well . His crew is a loyal one as are his members , and it is well earned !

Trixie is an absolute pleasure to work with . Polite , infectious , courteous , kind ,  hardworking and unflappable , Trixie is the type of officer that gets things done . She is an amazing asset to this team when it comes to recruiting and promoting new members , Her natural charisma makes newcomers feel welcome even if it is past her bedtime and she has to work in the morning lol . In the week long LOA of our General ( KSI AWOL ) Trixie was an absolute force in helping send recruiting messages ( over 150 messages ) and helping our squad bring in 10 recruits in one week ! She would be a great addition to any team and we are certainly glad to have her on board !

Peppers may be young in her career here in KSI , however that does NOT stop her from putting herself out there any chance she gets. Her game nights are always run in an orderly fashion and she always has a great turnout , even reaching out to other squads for joint game nights ! Peppers is always kind and thoughtful and a great listener , the type of person you can rely on in any situation . She is a valuable asset to our team and a great personality to enjoy .

Hes been our squad featured member of the month 3 times . We affectionately call him our " Hometown Hero " after his many wins in this last Headhunters series and we all root him and DM on consistently . Reasoning why they deserve this - “Whiskey” went far above and beyond during the month of May (as he does every month) in his role as 3CPT, and his monthly statistics thus far for May, 2019 speak volumes:  Recruiting Messages Sent:  Over 500; Recruits:  6; Trainings/Promotions: 3
Whiskey is an absolute stand-out among Demonic Mayhem’s officers.  He truly has the betterment of both the Division and the Squad in mind.  He works closely with me daily in discussing squad activity levels, provides numerous ideas to boost activity/morale, advises on member retention, as well as how to continue adding quality adult members to Discord Squad.  As an example, Whiskey took the initiative and the time to create in-game clans for Discord Squad in The Division 2 and Destiny 2.  Thanks largely in part to Whiskey, both in-game clans are growing at a healthy rate each week (Whiskey rebuilt the Bungie.net clan for Destiny 2 from the ground up) and he makes it a point to have friendly competitions with members each week for the top XP earner in The Division 2.
Whiskey not only engages members on DM’s Discord server daily, but he actively games with and is able to speak frankly with members about any manner of issues that arise.  I’ve seen firsthand how Whiskey handles difficult situations with members who may have crossed a line, and he’s shown tremendous personal/professional growth in this area alone.

Finally, Whiskey is always on the lookout for potential officers, and has a great eye for this.  He recently sought and was granted approval for a long-time, well-known Corporal (now a Sergeant) - KSI SevensNova - for an upcoming promotion to Staff Sergeant. 
As I was on a Leave of Absence earlier this month, Whiskey ran the squad in my absence (and did a fantastic job in doing so).  Whiskey is frequently my plus-one in the weekly Divisional General’s Meeting, and it’s refreshing having him there to give input and/or ask tough questions. 
There is absolutely no doubt that Whiskey is qualified to run Discord Squad as its next General.  Furthermore, it’s my honest belief that Whiskey - given the time and training needed/required - can and will go to the rank of Co-Founder or higher. 
Whiskey, thank you for your positive attitude, problem-solving skills, your willingness to adapt your way of thinking to accommodate/assist our squad members and/or officers, and your tremendous amount of hard work and dedication to KSI, Demonic Mayhem, and Discord Squad.  It's both a pleasure to work with you in bettering the squad and the division, and to frequently game with you as well!

Reasoning why they deserve this - “Peppers” is an absolute workhorse for Discord Squad.  She's the first officer in the squad to volunteer to conduct trainings/promotions and host game nights (many times she volunteers to host multiple game nights per week).  She engages the squad DM's Discord server, and hosts some of the largest game nights Discord Squad has ever seen!

Peppers statistics for May, 2019 (with twelve days remaining in the month) are absolutely stellar:  Recruiting Messages Sent:  Over 100;  Recruits:  1; Trainings from Recruit to Private:  6; Promotions to Corporal:  5.
Peppers, a sincere thank-you for all your hard work and dedication to KSI, Demonic Mayhem, and Discord Squad.  Since becoming an officer, you’ve truly shined and are an absolute asset to DM and Discord Squad.

Reasoning why they deserve this - "Sevens" as I know him won DM/Discord's Member of the Month for May 2019.  Sevens is an outstanding gamer with one of the most easy-going personalities I’ve ever witnessed.
Sevens is very active in Discord Squad and games with many members from across the entire division.  He is always courteous, friendly-natured, approachable, and polite beyond belief.  Sevens is an extremely positive influence on both the Division and the Squad, as I’ve never heard him use foul language or speak poorly of anyone.  He actively engages others in DM's Discord server with a friendly hello, a funny screenshot, or by simply welcoming new members and/or congratulating those who were promoted. 
Sevens is a hardcore gamer and has assisted members with in-game achievements/awards on both the divisional and squad level.  Sevens is a true team-player, a soon-to-be officer, and an overall great guy.    
Sevens’ upcoming two-year anniversary with KSI and his willingness to step up to assist DM/Discord Squad as an officer are just some of the many reasons why Sevens deserves this award.

Reasoning : 
AWOL took over our squad after the previous General had to leave unexpectedly. We had very low attendance to meetings and game nights and had very few recruits coming in. He instituted changes which made recruiting quality people a first priority. Since then, we have increased our attendance so much that are squad meetings are full every week and we are considering instituting a second squad meeting to accommodate folks. He had to work through disagreents to make all of this happen, but he was consistent and never gave up (even though I know he wanted to). He is an asset to this community and to this squad. He shows us what it means to be a great leader.

Whiskey suggested and instituted an officer training in our squad to make sure that every officer was intimately familiar with the process of recruiting, training and promoting members. He took time from his own personal schedule to personally work with each and every officer to make this happen. This dramatically increased the confidence and reliability of the system across the board for our squad. He also is sure to handle any issues that arise quickly and effectively and communicates the outcome to people involved. He may take a swifter approach, but he always gets the job done. He is always one of the first to volunteer when people need recruiting or training. He wants what is best for the leaders and members of this squad and it shows in the quality of work he displays.

Inifnity is what a member should be. He is always willing to help out with raids or to help you complete quests. He volunteers to do this consistently without ever being asked. He conveys a helpful spirit in everything he does. He brings a positive attitude to game nights and consistently participates in activities across the community. I have never heard him say a harsh word about anyone or complain about anything. He is polite and considerate of his fellow members. It is impossible to name all the times he has helped out others without asking for anything in return. It is this selfless spirit that makes him a joy to have in our squad.

Take a look at our upcoming Div Cup schedule! As you can see, we have a category or two from all of our lovely departments being represented.. (minus Marketing and Courts, love you Nebbi and Airborne!) Below you can have a look at the explanations for each category.
T&E:
I like to think that this is pretty self explanatory, as most of you have participated in a Weekend Warfare event or two during your time within KSI. Each member who attends a Weekend Warfare event will earn one point for their division. Members who sign-up but don't attend the actual event will of course, not earn a point. Productions:
As posted above, Productions will once again have the Clips/Montage scoring system. This will be capped out at ten points. Along with that, we will be switching it out on an every other month basis with Happy Hour attendance. This will be just like Weekend Warfare, each member who attends a Happy Hour event will earn one point for their division. AAP:
AAP will have a couple of categories that will sometimes be switching out as well, between the Divisional of the Month's and Of the Month's. Double points will also be offered during the Divisional Hall of Fame periods. HSI:
A couple of things you can look forward to seeing from HSI are the Top Recruiters of the Month, and the Members and 7's Spotlight events! Make sure you are encouraging your divisions to participate! Social Media:
Something new coming to the Div Cup this year is the Twitter Blitz! This will be an event that is active for a random three to five days each month. A topic will be pinned to KSI's twitter account, and each member who comments will gain a point for their division. There will be a cap of ten points per division. Not following KSI's Twitter? Gfx will once again be starting up their Signature of the Week. Scoring will run like this: A member who enters SoTW and wins, will gain their division three points. Any member who enters a signature will gain their division two points. Any member who votes on a signature entered will gain their division one point. Performance Operations:
A change has been made regarding Performance Operations! Instead of workshop attendance counting towards the Divisional Cup, we will be including LEAD class attendance instead. Every member who attends LEAD classes will earn their division one point. (One point per member per month.) Along with Social Media and the Clips and Montages, this will be capped out at ten points. Along with that, every other month the monthly discussion will come into play. If a member from your division decides to give their input, they will earn their division one point. (Only one point per person - if they post more than one response, they will still only gain one point.) News:
Just like last year, the News team is still bringing about interesting and funny topics in their "So You Think You Can Write" topics! Not only are these fun to read, submitting a response will gain your division a point. Clan-Ops:
Once again, a division can gain up to fifteen points for growth and proper officer ratios! If your division grows by ten members in a month, you gain ten points. Proper officer ratios (10 - 1) will gain you five points.   
We are looking forward to the launch of KSI's second annual Divisional Cup! Talk to your division, spread the word, and get involved!

@KSI AWOL I originally joined in the start of December in 2011, went around plenty of squads and divisions. Because of the job i have, I'm not be able to attend anything throughout the week due to my work schedule so i mainly hang around on the forums.

Progressive Mindsets
•    Over the course of this new year (2019), it is our goal to push KSI in an upward, forward moving direction in terms of growth, community strength, and longevity. In order to do so, it's important that not just leadership, but all members of this community adapt to a progressive mindset where we think ahead, plan for better, and push beyond limits. The next time you sit down whether alone or with fellow KSI members, think of ways the community can change for the better, what you can do to contribute to growth, and how to make KSI a better place than when you joined it.
Professionalism
•    It is important to remember that KSI is a 'Positive gaming community' which means we must conduct ourselves in the appropriate manner. When in party's we must be mindful of who is there and what is and what isn't okay to discuss. We must remain professional when in party's with members of KSI and non members of KSI to ensure KSI's positive reputation is maintained.
Divisional Hall of Fame
•    During the upcoming Spring Break events finale, Divisional Hall of Fame inductees will be announced. In preparation for the next round of Divisional HoF nominations, IT WILL BE MANDATORY that all nominees at least obtain Outstanding Service Level 1 before being eligible for nomination. Extended deadline for nominations to March 5th.
 
 
DEPARTMENT NOTES
T&E: ALSO KNOWN AS TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS
•    This weekend: On Saturday (March 2nd), T&E will be hosting a tournament on Smite. Gametype: 3v3 Joust. The tournament will begin promptly at 6pm EST, with sign-ups closing two hours prior to the event. (4pm EST)
Next weekend:
•    On Saturday (March 9th), T&E will be hosting a tournament on Super Bomberman R. Gametype: 2v2, so bring a friend! This game is free to play, and is a very small download. The tournament will begin promptly at 8pm EST, with sign-ups closing two hours prior to the event. (6pm EST)
Regularly scheduled programming:
- Late sign-ups will not be admitted.
- Proxy posts must be approved before hand by department heads. (KSI BadKitty 7/KSI Gambit 7)
- Tardiness will be grounds for disqualification.
- For the love of gaming and tacos, please behave and follow the code of conduct at all times.

DM Specific Notes:
Spring break is around the corner the 7's staff will be setting up tryouts for each event so keep an eye out for future announcements on that in the next couple weeks.
DM is a really great division and there's a lot of hard working officers. They do a lot of little things behind the scene work including bringing in new members, promotions and hosting game nights. If any of you fine people would be interested in becoming an officer and helping out please let one of your officers know or your General know and they can go into more detail. Remember the more officers the less work for everyone, and as always remember DM's number 1 rule always have fun.
