I can also attest to this, Airborne took over the reigns of AAP when it was in a downwards spiral.
at the time there was no active Dept heads for AAP which had a knock on effect of people leaving the department due to how disorganised it had become.
Not only did Airborne rebuild the AAP but he took it to new heights and I think his work speaks for itself as after this role Airborne came up to the board and if that doesn speach volumes idk what to tell ya,

Some of my favorite leaders to work with were @KSI RiiOT 7 @Scotland @KSI Arc 7 @KSI EXODUS 7. Worked with Arc and Ex way back in DR, when I first earned a 7, and then for a few years after. With Scottie and Riiot I worked with both in the AAP when they were the Dept heads, and when I was the Dept head after. All of these fine ladies have a special place for me.

Not too long ago Kam joined my Web ops team as a Rejoin mod, since then he has continued to go strengh to strengh in web ops earning himself a position very few have - Senior Forums Mod. This in itself shows his true dedication to web ops and to KSI.
Kam often hits me up to riff on some ideas or ask questions, if theres something he isnt sure of he will make sure he knows it for the future and can use that knowledge to help all of our members.
Kam can be often seen around the forums helping anyone he sees who are posting in the SB who are unsure of stuff. They ask the question and moments later he'll have hit them a DM to explain it .

RiiOT has been one of those people in the community that I’ve always felt comfortable to talk to when I was going through something and always gave me the advice that I needed even before I became a join mod. He took time out of his day to update my sprite on the forums and worked with me until I got it right. Always quick to respond to me whenever I have a question about anything. Just recently this guy truly helped me find my “Why” in Clan Ops and for that I’m really humble for. Sometimes all it takes is to sit down with someone and Chat. Thank You for everything you do for the community good Sir and keep up the great work!!!

This guy is literally the walking and breathing Handbook of KSI. Whenever you have a question he is quick to answer because he is always thinking on his feet. Everywhere he goes in KSI success follows no matter the situation. The diligence this man has put into KSI as a whole is off the charts while also making time to play with the members within the community. Tiger goes out of her way daily to make sure everyone is having the best KSI experience possible. Recently when my squad started to fall apart she stepped up to the plate and put her 100% into helping me recover. Helping with promoting, training and recruiting for my squad. She has the same mindset as me that we are not going to let things go down like this. Always there to hear my ideas and not just listening but putting some of this things into action. I truly appreciate everything you have done for Malice and WD. Thank You.

Airborne has been one of those members in the community that I can completely spill my guts to and he will deliver back his thoughts and ideas about any situation that I bring to him. I’ve worked closely with him in AAP before becoming a Join Moderator and now a Forums Moderator and he is always quick to get back to with any information to the best of his knowledge. Anyways taking the time out of his day to get with the members so they have the training to do a job well done. This member knows the difference between the time to joke around and the time for business to take place. I look forward to working with this member in many areas in KSI in the future. Congratulations on your promotion to HDM. Well deserved.

Reasons they deserve this award: As the newest member of the BoD December has hit the ground running. Going from running your own department then suddenly being in charge of operations for all departments is now small task, I can see how it would be easy to crack under pressure like that, but December stepped up to the challenge and took it all head on. I think we can all agree December has plans for all departments way before he ever joined the board just because of the person he is, always looking for ways he can help and improve any areas of KSI not just his own. During his start as CDM December had to make alot of big decisions in a fair few of the departments and took on a huge workload because of this the departments are at an all time high for activity and functionality. I cant wait to see the new heights December takes Dept ops too.

Not only does he pick up the slack when I cant do stuff due to my work schedule/time difference but he keeps the join/rejoin running like a well oiled machine and still has time to bounce ideas off of/with me. Hes always thinking to the future for web ops and what our next moves could be for the betterment of the website and the community at large. King is a wealth of information for the forums and members know they can hit him up at any time for help. Lets not sleep on that this guy recently got Most Outstanding and thats no easy feat. No brainer this award should go to King this year.

Airborne stepped up as the head and rebuilt his team stronger than ever. He had to make some difficult decisions such as closing some areas of the AAP so the area could thrive. He continues to renovate and re-imagine parts of the AAP that keep it fresh and fun for our members. As a former AAP Head it makes me happy to see how much the dept has grown (and continues too) under Airbornes leadership.

What stood out for me when Id recommend she joined the AAP was just how much she cares for not her fellow Div mates in DM but eveyone in KSI, so what better place than a dept for awarding our members. During her time in AAP Dntask would often ask me questions about awards/how to get the awards which, for me, challenged how I looked at awards and the dept in general.
Every now and again when we talk Its usually after Ive received a really nice message checking in and encouragement and I think that embodies what a KSI member should and what we're all here for.
But also let us not forget - she won LT of the year.

I've been reading through your guys' posts and the concerns that you guys have brought up regarding the changes made to Div Cup this week. Completely understandable considering you guys have been going crazy in terms of Divisional Cup for DM. What it comes down to is that how Divisional Cup is running now is not the way it was initially intended to run. While it may be doing great things for you all, that is not necessarily the case for a lot of the community. 
 
The current changes to Divisional Cup does not mean in any way that way you guys have done since Spring Break means nothing. Although Divisional Cup will now be based off of Annual Events, Division of the year will not be. Meaning that there could very likely be two different divisions that wins Div of the year and Divisional Cup. Everything you guys have worked towards, and will continue to work towards, will be heavily considered at the end of the year when it comes time to announce Division of the Year for 2019. Forums activity, Weekend Warfares, SYTYCW, Montage Submission, AAP Awards, Signature of the Week, Clan ops, etc. will still all play a huge part at the end of the year. 
 
The decision from the Board of Directors did not come over night, and it certainly wasn't made to make the divisions that are doing well feel like there hard work and dedication since Spring Break means nothing- because it does. Us as forums staff love what you guys have been doing this last month or so, and would love to see you guys keep it up going forward as long as the rules of the forums are followed. At the end of the day, not only will it be considered for Division of the Year, BUT, activity is also a key asset to a healthy division as you guys have continued to show. 
 
I hope this helped clear the air a little bit, and if you guys have any other issues or concerns, feel free to reach out. Keep doing what you guys are doing and results will come. Not just at end of the year awards, but also in your division as a whole.

Suppose Id better put my 2 cents in

King joined my team as a fresh faced Mini mod eager to learn about Web ops and the forums, at the time I had no Idea what an asset I was bringing in to the fold.
His time as a mini Mod didnt start smoothly, as we couldnt sort his permissions out (We know what we're doing all the time, always) so for a while he was our SB warrior. This didnt discourage him, seeing all the other new mods with their full powers, instead he took it very seriously and guarded and kept the shoutbox in order until we worked out the problems.
Once he had full powers King was ready to go, he kept on top of spam management and keeping our members safe via banning people who would sign up to do cause trouble, I cant remember the last time Ive really had to ban anyone.
The whole time he was doing this he was always THE guy to go to in the rejoin section (remains the GOAT of that section to this day) 

These key skills, keen interest in Web ops and the eagerness to progress helped him achieve something not many have in this community and become a Senior Forums Mods. 
Whatever I need help with King is ready and willing to step up to the plate from bringing me fresh ideas or helping me work out the kinks in some ideas I have or helping implement.
My attention is spread over various aspects of Web ops, so I trust King to take a leading role in rejoin which he does flawlessly, hes trained so many of our senior rejoin mods who in turn have trained our newer hires all to the same standard.
I think it takes a lot to prove yourself as a leader to where someone can say, yep I knows hes got it so Ill leave him to it.
