There will also be a community-wide vote for the winner of the Upload Studio Montage Competition that’s been running since January. The winner of that vote will receive a prize and points for his/her division.

       There will be other events with other divisions, so if you would like to participate in those and meet new people, you can look on the calendar to find dates for that and participate with other divisions in their game nights.

         • Donations are appreciated, but not required. It help plays for Prizes and the running of the Forums page. If you donate $100.00, you get a unique animation beside your name on the forums. It doesn't have to be all at once. You can spread it out in like $20.00 payment if you would like. Also donation will put you in a a VIP Areas in the forums. Like I said it's optional. If you do decide too, then you can do it through the Forums account via Credit Card/Debit or through PayPal.

Divisional were doing great we at 278 and squad were at 45. But hoping that will change soon. We have 2 new recruits and soon as we can get to them, us officers will have them promoted to PVTS. Forced Induction Training Assist

Start the training session by explaining who you are and what is about to go on. Make sure the member has 20 minutes or so to dedicate to the training session before beginning.
 
 Review the recruit’s qualifications (age older than 15/gamerscore over 500/over 20 friends) Also take a quick look at their friends list to verify that they aren't associated with any blacklisted/negative communities just in case something was missed before.
 
Reread the Code of Conduct to them and try to go more into detail on what some of the rules actually mean. Answer any questions that they may have regarding CoC.
 
Recite the rank structure: RCT, PVT, CPL, SGT, SSG, LT, CPT, Gen, Co-Founder, Founder, Co-Division Leader, Division Leader, Director, Senior-Director.

Explain the basic duties of the ranks RCT-Co-founder and let them know who those people are. The rank structure can be found here

Explain the importance of KSI tag prefix and what KSI means. Ensure the recruit knows that it is a requirement for higher ranks due to the fact that if a person wants to lead in KSI, then they should be proud enough of the community to show their affiliation no matter what they are doing on XBL. It is also important that you let the recruit know that KSI does not tolerate KSI gamertags that reference illicit drugs or sexual material. If caught with such a gamertag that breaks the Code of Conduct they will be subject to change it. KSI stands for: Knowledge, Strength, Integrity

Explain to the recruit that they must follow the chain of command and bring any issue to their next highest member (SGTs and below go to LTs, LTs go to CPTs, CPTs go to the GEN and so forth.) If they are unable to reach the person they are supposed to report to, they can go up to the next level.
 
Explain the importance of Squad Meetings. We have them for accurate and complete dissemination of: information, news, upcoming events, and the opportunity for members to bring up issues/ideas. 

Have the recruit REMOVE the FI recruit tag, and then ADD your squad's tag. Explain the purpose of the squad tag. The Squad Tag offers a complete list of squad members so that members can see who else in the squad is online without having to add all 50 or more members. By going to the friends list of the squad tag, members can invite others that are online and may not be on their friends list yet. Explain as well that any messages sent FROM the squad tag are messages put out from the General and should be followed as such.
 
Explain the importance and proper usage of the forums - www.ksiforums.org. The Forums are a great way to converse with other members and maintain a constant flow of information throughout the community as well as the many resources and aid available on the forums. As a member you are only allowed to be in the use of one forums account. If you ever have problems with signing in get with the admins for help.

Once the all sections of Recruit training are complete, ensure that the new Private's motto reflects the promotion to Private: from KSI *Squad Name* FI RCT to KSI *Squad Name* FI PVT.
 Ensure that the PVT's bio has both: 1) who recruited the member, including date of recruitment and 2) name of the trainer.

The welcoming committee is a team of individuals within a Division that all share the goal of helping new members learn about KSI, and getting them involved with the community. The committee members are to be well diversified between all squads within the Division, ranging from 1 to 2 members per squad. All members must be knowledgeable, approachable, well known and respected throughout their Division.

The goal of a Welcoming Representative will be to teach all new recruits about the ins and outs of KSI, as well as informing these recruits of simple procedures, including but not limited to:

• Forums usage
• Web-Ops
• Join/Re-join processes
• Divisional sections
• Weekend Warfare
• Chain of Command

Mission:

The Welcoming Representatives mission is to bridge the gap between disconnected and or new members, and to also make all members feel welcomed by keeping them active within KSI. This committee will be outgoing and proactive in its approach to communicate and make sure all new members who join KSI are well informed. This team is used to integrate all members with their divisions and squad by continuing the orientation process initiated by officers.

Objectives:

• Establish communication with new and disconnected members.
• Provide more insight and knowledge about KSI and the day-to-day functions of the new members’ respective squad and division.
• Maintain contact with new members and attempt to contact inactive ones until the individual is actively involved within their division and squad.

Welcoming Representative Requirements:

• Individual must be the rank of Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain.
• Individual must be known throughout their squad.
• Individual must be friendly and welcoming to all.

Welcoming Representative Duties:

• Keep track of current recruits within their squad and actively send invites and messages to all new members.
• Send messages out to other squad members welcoming the new recruit.
