@Airborne I started a new account on OSRS just a few months ago with only one goal in mind when starting: attaining what I've wanted since childhood, a quest cape. Now that I've been on the grind for a while I keep adding new goals to what I want to do even though I haven't gotten the quest cape yet (although I am getting very close)

This is probably not going to do this man justice, but I do need to say my peace. For the extended version, with  please refer to my statement for this member's OS lvl. 2. 
Fadez has been an outstanding and integral part of several facets of the community for a lengthy amount of time. He has been a successful part of Clan ops, Web ops and Department ops in leadership roles in all of them. He started back in 2012, and is still around this community. That takes some special dedication in itself. He has been mentor to many, and been a great friend to any who have needed him to be. He's always looking out for other members more than he is himself. He's the kind of guy who has always tried to make changes for the positive, and I really respect him for that. He is an outstanding member of this community, no questions asked.
 

Hope you’re doing well too man. But yeah, I’m slated for the Overtime Rumble on GTA and 4v4 Heist on BO4. 

We will be pushing more out through Clan Ops meetings this week and in the future.
To comment on your concerns though, the new Divisional Cup is just an award for points gained during our major events. For every major event, we produce a scoreboard. Only the events on that scoreboard go towards Divisional Cup.
As far as Division of the Year, we will be looking at options for that. The two most likely options are either 1) work off of accomplishments, Leaders, improvement, and other criteria to determine which division has performed the best while being an example of what KSI should stand for or 2) allow nominations and testimony from members to make the argument for Division of the Year. A hybrid of those two may also be considered.
But there is no longer going to be any type of scoreboard mechanism for Department or Forum participation in naming a Division of the Year. We don’t want people doing things or feeling pressured to do things for points or to make their Division look good. We just want people to participate in the areas they personally want to. 
Long term events may be factored, but we do not have any on-going so we won’t commit to their inclusion until a groundwork is laid for those events.
So the underlying, and very clear message is, do things in this community because you want to. Not because you have to outwork everyone else. We want people to have fun, and it became evident through survey responses and communication with leaders that 3 more months of the previous system would have done more harm than good.

I've been reading through your guys' posts and the concerns that you guys have brought up regarding the changes made to Div Cup this week. Completely understandable considering you guys have been going crazy in terms of Divisional Cup for DM. What it comes down to is that how Divisional Cup is running now is not the way it was initially intended to run. While it may be doing great things for you all, that is not necessarily the case for a lot of the community. 
 
The current changes to Divisional Cup does not mean in any way that way you guys have done since Spring Break means nothing. Although Divisional Cup will now be based off of Annual Events, Division of the year will not be. Meaning that there could very likely be two different divisions that wins Div of the year and Divisional Cup. Everything you guys have worked towards, and will continue to work towards, will be heavily considered at the end of the year when it comes time to announce Division of the Year for 2019. Forums activity, Weekend Warfares, SYTYCW, Montage Submission, AAP Awards, Signature of the Week, Clan ops, etc. will still all play a huge part at the end of the year. 
 
The decision from the Board of Directors did not come over night, and it certainly wasn't made to make the divisions that are doing well feel like there hard work and dedication since Spring Break means nothing- because it does. Us as forums staff love what you guys have been doing this last month or so, and would love to see you guys keep it up going forward as long as the rules of the forums are followed. At the end of the day, not only will it be considered for Division of the Year, BUT, activity is also a key asset to a healthy division as you guys have continued to show. 
 
I hope this helped clear the air a little bit, and if you guys have any other issues or concerns, feel free to reach out. Keep doing what you guys are doing and results will come. Not just at end of the year awards, but also in your division as a whole.

I would like to say a little, although I'm not sure I will do her justice. Greenday has been around this community for years, and has been a very active, and supportive member. She is one who always makes sure people are included, even to the point of going out and buying them games so they can join in with everyone else. She has been a large part of several divisions, departments, and was instrumental in the HSI split from news. She is also currently one of the Judges for the community as well. She gives the community what shes got, and that's quite a bit more than others can say.

This is what I said for FadeZ when I nominated him for OS lvl. 1 back in 2013
"Outstanding Service Lvl. 1: As long as I can remember, FadeZ has been a highly contributing member to this division. He came into the division when we had been hit hard, and he has been a huge contributor to get this division up off the ground again. He still stands out, even in a division where we do have other great leaders as well. This man is going in the right direction, and I see nothing but greatness coming from him..."
 For level 2, I have a bit more to say. I have known this member since 2012. Within KSI, there are rarely people that have been in and around the community as much as this man. I have been able to witness what he brings to KSI from a very close perspective several times.
When he was recruited into Divine Reign, I was his Co-Founder. We developed a tight-knit bond that eventually became a central part of the glory years of DR leadership with myself as Co-Div, and with Fadez as a Co-Founder. This was a time when DR was one of the largest and most active divisions in KSI. He was a crucial part of the infrastructure by being great example as a leader, and affecting retention by being an all around great friend and fellow member to those within the division and other parts of the community.  I personally witnessed this man start to come into his own at every level between Sgt and Cofo. He not only met but exceeded almost every expectation of almost every rank through his dedication, sheer will and nearly unceasing amount of curiosity. During this time he also was heavily involved with the Tournaments and Events Department, to the point of being named Co-head of that department. 
There was a time when I had to step away from the community due to enrolling in a police academy around 2014, and I cannot speak much about his time in the community then as I was not here. I do know that he was involved in a few other divisions while I was away from the community, and obviously positively affected them as well, as he is still in touch with several members and leaders from his time in those divisions.
Fast forward a couple of years, and I finally had time to rejoin the community in 2016. After some convincing, I got FadeZ back into the community again as well. This time around, FadeZ has stood out especially in Department Operations. Having been named to Department Head of the new History, Statistics, and Information Department. He has also been heavily involved in the News department, where until recently he was a Senior Member. Let's not forget he is also currently one of the longest standing members of the Join Moderator team, as well as a Court Judge. I have the luxury and pleasure of being able to still work closely with FadeZ as we are both Department Heads and I can attest to seeing the dedication he brings to his team in an attempt to better the community. He has also been added as a Leadership Council Ambassador, so that he will have another opportunity to assist in bettering KSI based on his knowledge and prior experiences.
In closing, I would like to reflect on my statement for his OS lvl.1 back in 2013. I knew that he could be great for this community then, although I don't think I could have imagined the extent of an impact he would have back when I first met that new inquisitive Sgt. I'm not sure there is a single member I am more glad to have mentored, worked with and become close friends/family with in all of my years here. Here's to hoping we still have a few more to go Brother.
