"It's not about how hard you can hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"

Hello everyone. I have come to the decision to retire from Clan Ops as your Co-Div Leader. I just don't have the time to commit to Clan Ops anymore. I'll still be around as an IA Staff Member, but I'll no longer be an LW 7. It breaks my heart but I have to focus on personal life before Xbox Life. If you guys ever need to talk to me, feel free to message me. I'll be here for you guys.
What I will now discuss may seem overly critical, and or harsh but I am not intending it to be so at all, but the ones who post here frequently I feel need to know this to pass it on. LW forum activity is not perfect, there are those dedicated ones who will post a lot, and there are the officers who just come on and post their required amount, but I expect more people in LW to be active I understand it isn’t mandatory, but we can definitely do our best to encourage them to be active. So here is what I did I looked at the squad chats and the division chat to see how many people has posted in the last 7 days regularly. I understand the deleted accounts can contribute to these results, but we shouldn’t be in the business of excuses. Remember this is how many different people actually posted in the squad chats and division chat, and I will only be including members of those squads. This isn’t to put to shame any squad because every squad needs more forum activity compared to their squad member count.
This info was gathered at 12:00 pm est
Achilles: 2
Beowulf: 0
Caesar: 4
Hannibal: 2
Hypnos: 2
Leonidas: 1
Paladin: 2
Samurai: 6
LW division chat: 11
Remember this isn’t to shame any squad, this is to give them encouragement because every squad and the whole division should have more forum activity. Yes again I understand about the deleted accounts, but there weren’t many guest accounts anyway and even before it started happening there needed to be more forum activity. Also, when I look in the chats here is what everyone says, “hey, how is everyone” “ hi everyone” “What’s up everyone” and stuff like that. These chats are meant for discussions if everyone only says hi then they are essentially useless and a waste of space, but we should be having actual discussions and conversations. Also, the majority of the posters are officers or higher, these forums are not just for the officers they are for the whole community. Yes again I understand they are not mandatory, but we should try to get more people active on here. Everyone reading I encourage and challenge you to do your best to get more people in your squad active on the forums, help them make an account, make sure they know how to make posts, and make sure they know how to navigate the forums. This has been on my mind for a while and I decided to let you all know that it is time to make a change. Listed below are reasons why people should be active on the forums. Please do not ignore this post and say, “hi everyone!!!”
Reasons to be active on the forums:
The Forums are a great way to converse with other members and maintain a constant flow of information throughout the community as well as the many resources and aid available on the forums.-SoPs
Clan ops are only half of the KSI experience the other half is on web ops(the forums) We have almost 500 members in LW and over 3000 members in KSI. We can’t have each and every one on our friend’s list, but if we don’t interact with others in KSI we are missing the point of KSI, and we are not fully experiencing the greatness of KSI. The point of KSI is not to just interact with people in your squad, that is amazing but there is more to it than that. KSI is a family; all 3500 of us. This family extends to more than just our squad, more than just our division, it’s the whole community. The forums are relatively easy to use once you spend 5 or 10 minutes browsing it. There are many people who can help explain how to use the forums; notable examples are the officers of the squad. There are also two forum workshop videos on our YouTube channel: TheKSIProductions, so ultimately there should be no reason people don’t know how to use the forums besides just not wanting to. If someone is experiencing as an issue the forum staff can take care of it as well.
The forums are the number one place to get the information you need. Whether it is for recruiting, training, meeting notes, workshops notes, how to post notes, duties/responsibilities of officers and ranks, things of that nature. Yes, you can get the C.o.C. verbally and write it down, and yes you can get screen shots but if you are able to read it from its source you can have a better understanding of it and you can know you have your information right. There are many areas on the topics you can get information from including the clan ops information area, the standards for recruiting and training processes’s(and SOP), and more.
The forums have great areas to browse in, chat in, and mess around in. you can mess around and count to a million in spam area, you can chat with your division and squad in the flagship or feet area. You can discuss your favorite topics like food, anime, politics, and etcetera in the general area. There are many interesting topics that I know people would enjoy using if they would just give it a chance.
There are web ops departments that I know people would love if they either knew of them or would give them a chance. Departments like news team for writers, history department for those who like history, TnE for those who would like to help set up tournaments and events, AAPs for those really technical people who are really thorough, and even more.
The forums are where you can learn about tournaments and events, and weekend warfare. Every Saturday something is happening whether i.e. 4v4 halo 4 swat, GTA 5 car show, Black Ops 3 4v4 SnD, MineCraft build off. I know many people will enjoy these more than anything, but only so few people do it right now because not many know about it, and if they do know of it they aren’t on the forums to sign up for them.
Case and point with over 3000 members in KSI and almost 500 in LW I expect much more activity on the forums, I pledge I will be doing my best to get those in my squad more active on the forums, so will you?
