Reach was selected because it is a 360, backwards compatible title that allows more members to participate.
Halo 4 and MCC have very limited bases in the community, so they were not chosen.

Divisional YouTube channels will not happen.
We have KSI Productions to cover the community at-large. We encourage members of KSI Productions to have a divisional focus and promote the great events within each part of KSI.
However, we can't condone or encourage divisional channels. Participation across divisions is sporadic at best. Divisional activity is not as strong as community activity.
Also, all affiliated channels, pages, and accounts represent KSI Global and we (The KSI Board of Directors and other leaders) can not monitor an guarantee the quality of videos put up on divisional YouTube pages.
We've been actively, yet quietly, informing interested parties that divisional YouTube channels will not be condoned or allowed. Already established channels have been asked to be shut down and for those videos to be transferred to the main KSI Productions channel.
Start-up channels also struggle to build subscriber bases while the KSI channel already has 3,000+ subscribers. If people want to focus their efforts on their own division, that's their choice, but the only place those videos are allowed to appear under any official KSI Global name has been, and will continue to be, The KSI Productions YouTube channel.
This is not open for debate or discussion and no amendments will be made to the current policy.
SH was given A LOT of help from 7's above, including myself, Huckleberry, Jess, and many others. The issues that have plagued SH have been the result of in-house problems. Please understand that the Seniors, myself and Jess, have to look out for all of KSI and not just one division. Also, Huck must look out for 3 other divisions besides SH. All the while, Huck tried something new with his recruiting team. And he hosted gamenights himself and took a proactive role.
The recruiting team disbanded due to some private issues and the Officer core of the squad left due to disagreements with divisional leadership and the recruiting team.
The desire and effort was put forth to help SH, whether you noticed it or not.
Furthermore, Huck and Doc, the Founder, left for Christmas plans and were not able to continue things during the break. As you should be aware, real life comes before KSI, so any plans for SH were put on hold while the leadership AND members enjoyed time with families during the holidays.
Beyond that, any accusations about cliques or special clubs of 7's is exaggerated. I urge you to understand that first and foremost, every 7 in KSI puts the welfare of their divisional/community responsibilities before cliques.
However, we do place gaming and fun above recruiting, and in that regard many 7's choose not only to play with their division(s), but also with each other so as to work on plans and communication, while enjoying the game like we urge all members to do.
Raganroks is long time and trusted member of the Board of Directors. Through his long tenure, he has earned the trust of members in both KSI's. He, like our CEO, is charged with being diplomatic as a means to attempt to diffuse any issues that may arise.
And on a final note: Any concerns regarding the legitimacy of KSI's numbers is one that can easily be put to rest. We have checks and balances to make sure the numbers of the squads are reflected accurately. In fact, a fluff removal was done in SH to cut the number roughly in half, as you must have noticed.
Let me assure you that your concerns regarding the direction of SH will be looked in to, but I urge you to keep a calm head in the meantime. We are all working across this community to prove the best Xbox Live experience to all of our members and that involves the opinions and insight from all involved.
There is a right way and a wrong way to express your concerns. And while I appreciate you voicing them, please do so appropriately and with good manners.
