KSI Kara 7 got a reaction from KSI Stack in June 2021 SYTYCW
Who in the community would I consider to be a mentor? Honestly where do I begin with this topic. There have been so many people through out the years who I have considered to be a mentor. However, there are only a handful of people who have left a big enough print on my heart to actually remember as mentors. Lets start at the very beginning when I fist joined KSI back in 2015.  My very first teacher was KSI Jessi, she was my general over in DM when Brutal was around. She taught me that it was okay to ask questions. To take notes on what ever I needed. Never be afraid to go to someone if you need help. She taught me what a strong female leader could look like. That being quirky, giggly, and adorable was perfectly fine. That you can still be tough and yet cute as a button at the same time. Jessi was one of the sweetest people I had ever met. Encouraging me to do better and to be better as a person. Dragging me out of my shell little by little. Believing I could be more then just the shy little wall flower I had been.

There was also KSI Bandit 77, and as much as I dislike what was caused due to her during that time. I can't forget everything she taught me while she was my 7. To be honest she was one of my most memorable mentors in KSI. She was one of the first people to take me under her wing. This woman was a wild card in the deck called KSI. Just her presents alone held such strength with in DM, and amongst the members at the time.  To be fair I don't think there wasn't a person in DM who didn't know her. She showed me what it meant to be present. How to make myself known to a squad. To be honest teaching me how to be the leader I am today. Her influence on my life was bigger then what I'd like to admit. I was a Bandit V2 in everyone's eyes. I fallowed her like a shadow learning all about KSI. How to run workshops, how to run a proper game night, what it meant to put my foot down, and what it meant to take no bull from any one.  She taught me what it meant to be a tough leader, and one who didn't stand for bullies. What she did may not have sat well with a lot of people, but she taught me everything I know. Pushing me harder then anyone else, knowing what I could have been capable of.

Though I do have one new mentor who I am proud of. Everyone I'm sure already knows who he is, @KSI xKing 77.  Since I came back to KSI, he has been someone to take me under his wing. I felt like a lucky duck to be deemed his Mini Sith. It meant that he acknowledged me as someone worth teaching. Someone he thought could make it all the way up again. His faith in me never swaying. Even when I was going through a lot of rough times, and it felt like the world was stacked against me. He gave me advice that kept me going. When I felt like I wanted to give up on the world, he stood there and was like my post to hold me up. I was his last promotion before he became CEO, and I felt honored by this fact. I never felt more proud of a mentor with in KSI. He taught me what it meant to come out of my shell again, to trust in people again.  He taught me what it meant to put myself out there for others to see me for who I am. He even taught me a few things on apex, but those didn't stick as much as the other things. King was one of the few people who stuck by me when I felt like I didn't have no one. He taught me the true meaning of loyalty, and what it means to be a true friend. What it means to listen as a leader, and be there for your members.

Each of these mentors had different styles of leading, and each one has a different personality. However, each of them left a hand print on my heart that I can never forget. They all mean something special to me, and I hold dear memories with. Weather they are fantastic or heart breaking. I wouldn't change any of the moments I've shared with these leaders in any way.  I wouldn't be who I am, or know what I know with out any of them. Needless to say, I owe the person I am to them. They each changed my life, changed a part of me, and made me a better person. Even when I felt like I wanted to cut people off, the advice of these leaders held me together. They where the glue to my messed up glitter bombed life. Weather I still talk to them or not. I was and still am proud to have been their pupil.  I just hope I left a hand print on their hearts as much as they left one on mine.

Where you would like to transfer: Sameri WD
Reasoning for transfer: Just not happy, been playing with wd mostly.. and been just all around kinda depressed.. trying to find where I can belong fully.. with a squad that I click with.. and not with just a couple people.. but as a whole.. and Samuri is that squad. I've befriend and been to every game night that I've been on for. I believe my home is with Samuri.

What is my favorite KSI memory? Well, that is kind of a loaded question, with so many years under my belt it is hard to choose. However, my first thought will always be my very first interaction with KSI. How one of their members changed my life forever. I was in a pretty bad place mentally and was on the edge of doing something very ignorant. I got bullied a lot online by not only my brother but random people. Who didn't seem to care how it affects the person on the other side of the mic. Being picked on constantly just because I had been the silent type. Never really understanding how to stand up against those who wronged me. One day I got into a lobby by chance with a KSI NobleKnight, and though he is no longer in KSI. He will forever be someone close to my heart. He stood his ground against several people in the lobby for me and offered to bring me into KSI. I didn't have any of the game types, but that didn't' stop him from trying to introduce me to those around him. So I would have a better gaming experience and meet people who would have my back through anything. I also met a member, named KSI Ronin, who bought me Halo 4 so I may game with them.

Together these two changed my life and I don't think they know how they saved me on top of it all. When I look back it's because these two started me on this journey with KSI that I am here, and that I am still alive with everyone. Brutal DM was the home that I started in and grew in. I will never forget the first squad, the first friends, or the experience they gave me. Our Ohana meant something and it's a time in KSI that always brings me to tears. Whether it's because the memories are happy, or because I miss the feeling that I had when I was a part of Brutal. Nothing will ever compare to that first meet or the first squad that took me in. Showed me how to be a leader and how to stand up for myself. It is because of them that I am the person that I am today. If I could thank those who grew with me, who showed me what it meant to have a real family I would. Unfortunately most if not all have left KSI before I could return. When I think of the best memories I have from KSI, I think of 2015-2017 as the years that KSI gave me a chance to live again.

What is my man I could think of so many from this time in KSI to my first time of KSI from the day I was recruited till many more memories. But one memory that stuck out the most when I joined a game night back in 2015 by a KSI member named KSI MamaBear and she's still in KSI to this day. When I first joined her game night there was a whole bunch of KSI members that I can't even name all because this would go over forever and ever. I will never forget those people that's when I was introduced to window wars and other types of game modes and that's when I saw that there's a reason for me to be in KSI I loved making people laugh and I still do till this day. But like I said I could think of so many memories but that's the best memory I could think of that hits close to home because LW that's where it all started and I will never forget that division it will always live within me.

evidence: Since I've known this man he has given his ALL to KSI. Rather it was in web ops or clan ops. He has been put through the ringer from time to time, and its a wonder hes still sane. Though between you and me, I think he's lost his marbles a while ago.  Having to put up with my shenanigans, and the shenanigans of not only SL, but WD. As anyone could tell you, this man has worked himself to the bone. Through grading work for his students, working on news, being apart of education. This man has stayed on top of his duties of being a 7 in clan ops. He is someone I really look up to and admire, and the true meaning of a hard worker. He gives it his all 110%, even when things aren't going too swell for him. Rather its a bad day, or having a rough week. He always gives the best advice, and available for people to talk to. I absolutely admire his dedication, and through it all, he hasn't once lost his passion. Maybe there's been doubts, but he has pushed through everything. Every up and down that you can imagine. Hes pushed through the hard times of SL, and pushed through WD. Im proud of the leader he is, and proud to nominate him for an award that means he has over come a lot, and is still some how sane. Thank you DC for everything that you've done for not only me, but those around you whos lives you've touched.

Since I live in California, I have access to all three options. Beach is always crowded and good luck finding parking. River, while usually nice for nature, doesn't fit for my preference. This would mean, my choice would be the lake. Myself, I like it as my step brother has a boat for wake boarding, so I can just operate the boat and have fun trying to throw people off while they wakeboard. Not to mention, there is always an option of fishing. I know it wont be as exciting as deep sea fishing, but its just peaceful.

Honestly, I like hanging out in a river because Texas has bunch of them and beer.

I would always need to say Ocean Beach because I always travel to the Caribbean as my wife is from there, and sipping Pina Coladas made the right way with a dash of condensed milk with the coconut milk is as close to heaven as you can get without going to "the upper room" (Eddie Murphy film reference)

If i have to be honest while living in Cali I have never hungout at a river. So for this i'd say the beach however when the beach isn't crowded (I hate people). The beach is nice because you can finally get all the sun you've been missing out on since we all just stay inside and play video games all day or at least me.

Hanging out at a lake is way more cooler than hanging out at the beach or a river because a lake you are more private so there for you can have party's and lots more u can also swim in there and less likely to get taken out by the tide

KSI Kara 7 got a reaction from KSI DC 77 in KSI DC 7 SL DHOF NOMINATION
Where do I even begin with DC? Seems like every where I go hes there. Whether its news team, AAP, even was my cofo in SL. This man has done so much for this comunity, even for me. I know i can be brash, and a bit of a drama queen at times. This man right here has always been one to step in and be like.. nah uh girl, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself! Always coming at things with a level head, ans slowly teaching me to do the same.

He is a true inspiration foe me, and has taught me a lot about different . He was a teacher for news team, a teacher for AAP, and a mentor in SL. He always had the backs of his members, while not afraid to put a boot up someones rump. I cant tell you enough about how hard this man works. Specially the things he's put put for news! This man has busted his arse from here to Timbuk 3 for the news. All while being a dad, a teacher in hard times, and juggles everything like hes in the circus. Though to be frank, he makes it all look easy.

I first met DC when I was in WD, and I first joined the news team. Him, uppish, and myself would have news meetings, and it just bw us for a small time. We fed off each other's ideas, ans motivations. With out DC or Uppish, my insperational minds wouldn't have come to pass... my ideas would not have life to them. DC has inspired me, as im sure he has others with news.

As foe when it came time that I has hit a rough patch in WD. He was there to listen to me, I didn't know his division, I didn't know anything past him being an amazing friend from news. So when I decided to go to SL due to other friends, I was shocked to see him there. He pushed me to be better, to di better, to become a better leader. Right from the geko when he took over as cofo of my squad. He went straight to work. Not a single one of us had slack, he made sure we where on top of it all. All while still letting us know, he is there for us.. giving us a good kick in the ass because we needed it.

If ANY PERSON in KSI deserves this, it is Crunk. So let's pull the lever on this nomination, because this man has been the spine of so much Insoeration that I don't even think he realizes what being my friend has meant to me. Being my 7, working with him has been a true blessing. LUV YA @KSI DC 7

He reps his 7 in the best way possible, and does so with great intentions. Always striving to improve the squads, the leaders with in the squads, and himself.
