KSIXROMEO 7 @KSIxROMEO 7 Romeo exemplifies lead-by-example that has contributed greatly to the continued success of his Division. Personally, I have witnessed how discouraging it can be to lose people in key positions. When I originally took over as General of Cruelty, the Officer staff with the exception of one, slowly stepped down for various reasons. Romeo voluntarily stepped in to assist with the smaller tasks that he normally wouldn’t have to consider doing. He hosted gamenights, and even sent a couple recruits our way too. These types of actions from a Div Leader can be humbling, because most others would have indicated that this wasn’t part of their duties. Romeo unquestionably performed more duties than his own, even while still performing his own duties as the Acting General of Venom. During the transition of the squad split of Discord, (Havoc) Romeo’s leadership gracefully iced the transition to make it go as smoothly as possible. Additionally, he ended up producing two new CO-FOS to boot! Unfortunately, it ended up being that one of those promotions didn't see eye to eye with one of our board members. This led to KSI Whiskey 7, or Drew, choosing to leave KSI and inflicting as much damage as possible while doing so. Ultimately, DM lost 2 CO-FOs, one General, and most of the officer staff of Wrath out of it. Then a third Co-Fo business transferred to ES shortly after that. Losing that many leaders within a short amount of time can be devastating, but lucky for us we had Romeo who refused to give up. He took it as a personal challenge, and turned everything around in a manner of weeks. New CO-FOS were trained and promoted, new officer cores were established in the squads affected, and an evolved standard for the division was set. All of those affected squads are alive and thriving today, because of Romeo alone. Romeo has the resilience needed to lead his people through anything thrown at us, and because of that, I believe he is the very definition of "Die Hard."

As someone who has been tasked with a gigantic project like revamping the education part of KSI, it should be expected that his time would be limited. However, Skarz goes out of his way to make himself available whenever its asked of him. He always checks in and makes sure that everyone is getting what they need out of the community, even if it takes away from his own time/sleep schedule. Not many people in those types of positions would fight for their people so vehemently, even going as far as to put his own neck on the line to do so. He is the type of leader that everyone wants to learn from. He personally takes it upon himself to ensure that new officers are trained properly, that new members are greeted (even if it's by the sound of his truck in the background), and that each every member that he comes in contact with is better off for the expirience. There is never a time when he says no to someone asking for help, and he doesn't give up until those tasks are accomplished. His division has done nothing but grow under his leadership and i would expect nothing less from someone that puts so many extra hours into the community. He dedicates his heart and soul to this community and even more importantly to the members. As acting General yet another time, his squad has grown to 90+ ACTIVE members and had flourished under his leadership. He is a legendary recruiter which is impressive in its own right, but if that's not enough he also endeavors to make time for each and every member he recruits ensuring that they get the type of integration that's expected when joining KSI. He excells that the behind-the-scenes functions that keep a squad running smoothly. Promotions, meetings, and member retention are all tasks that he executes flawlessly without it being asked of him. Recently, his General was called away to do the nation's business. Most people would struggle when their direct leadership is absent, but Atriox has done his best and more to make sure that those shoes are filled. The members are always his first priority and at the end of the days he's the type of Capt that you'd want in your corner. He always has a positive attitude to bring to the table, and is at the center of any party he joins into. He is steadfastly loyal to his friends, and is a no nonsense kind of guy. This award is one that demands a certain standard of excellence that is not provided by just anyone. Knowledge, Strength, and Integrity are the foundational ideals of our community. Skarz is unquestionably one of those individuals who personifies every single one of these characteristics, and then takes it steps further beyond. Here's why: Knowledge: "Those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it." Skarz takes this to heart every day, always endeavoring to learn from the past mistakes of leadership within KSI. He sees the need for a revamp of the educational system within our core and has taken it up as his personal mission to see it done. Lead 201 to CT 201, Lead 101, "Being an officer, professionalism", and most recently: "security checking exercises'' are just a few of his exploits in this area with many more on the way I’m sure. This consists of sleepless nights and tireless devotion to put together. He does it without complaint, always having the strength to see the bigger picture. Strength: "Shallow men believe in luck, strong men believe in cause and effect." With every great idea, there is always someone who sees it differently. Most people would take criticism as insult, therefore having the effect of giving up on their goals. Skarz is always welcoming of the feedback he receives, utilizing it as a tool instead of a hindrance. He is constantly asking the leadership within DM for analysis of his work, always asking “What can I do better?”. It takes strength to allow people to see behind the curtain and welcome opinions, even those different from your own. Integrity: "Integrity is the seed of achievement." Everything Skarz has accomplished in the time I've known him has been done with transparency. If you ask the question, he's always got an honest answer to present to you. If he doesn't have the answer, he finds out and then follows up promptly. . When he first took over as DM's director, we were concerned that he would be anxious with the power of his position and use it to influence our division in the directions we didn't want to go. However, that was far from the truth. He has not only been an asset to our division but also a guiding hand, a knowledgeable mentor, a pillar of strength in our community, and a model of integrity that others should look for in a leader. OS level 3 is a small way we can use to recognize his many achievements and the numerous contributions he has made to the community, both in the present and those yet to come. Thank you Skarz!!

He is the first person you hear about when you join, and is the heart and soul of his division. He continues to devote his time off from his IRL responsibilities to his members, even going as far as to be in parties while he's at work! As someone who has come up through my KSI Career, I can whole heartedly say that he has been an outstanding role model for leadership within DM and KSI as a whole. She brings a positive, never give up attitude to everything she has a hand in. Her squad has had its ups and downs over the years. Most people would have given up by now, but she simply sees these roadblocks as challenges to be overcome. As someone who never claims to have all the answers, she is always searching for new perspectives on the issues she encounters to ensure that each and every member of her squad is getting the best expirience that KSI has to offer. Plus you quite likely know of his obsession with The Superstars of WWE....another topic for a different day. He is a legendary recruiter with an even more legendary positive attitude. Normally officers focus on recruiting or member retention, but Joe does both with an unmatched ferocity. He makes the most out of his limited time to ensure members are taken care of and feel welcome within his family known as Venom. People flock to him in parties, so much so that they have to be split because they are full to the brim. As a veteran of KSI leadership, he has gone up and down the ranks during his years as a part of this organization, but you wouldn't know it from talking to him. He treats each and every person he encounters with the same amount of respect, and has never been one to flaunt his prestige. "Rank is just responsibility" is a phrase often heard coming from leaders within KSI, but Joe is one that truly personifies it. He has risen again to the rank of General with Venom, and I for one am excited to see just how far he will go. As his former General, I can attest to his superb work ethic, can do attitude, and steadfast devotion to excellence that most other would take for granted. He brings a much needed positive outlook to his squad and is always willing to bend over backwards to help out a member in need. He devotes many hours to listening to his people, and making sure they are getting the most out of their KSI experiences. He is the go-to guy when it comes to knowledge and the training of the new up and coming officers. Alot of people would let irl situations degrade their overall ability to function as an officer, but this man takes everything thrown at him in stride. He is Cruelty's newest General, and although he has only held the role for a short time, I am confident that the squad is in the best of hands. How many times? I've personally witnessed her leave a game she's in the middle of playing or jump into party at all hours of the day/night to take care of members that need her. Shes the listening ear, the wise parental figure, and the loyal friend that is there when noone else is. There have been many a member that has found themselves lacking the monetary ability to purchase a game, and have felt left out because they cannot play with the others in the squad. Then magically, an anonymous donor sends the game to them free of charge. The identity of that donor is never confirmed 100%, but those that have received it know that only one person seemed to have been in the right place, at the right time to hear of their plight. Aside from that, she has recently come into the role of Cofounder. Most people that come into the position have earned it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Even being considered, is an honor that requires dedicating the extra time and resources to the division. Even then, its always a strong "maybe." IF these things are done, IF they have the right social disposition for it, and IF they are that type of humble person; then they are considered for the role. With Pam, IF simply doesn't apply. Its always been a matter of WHEN. As a fellow member of the 7s staff of DM, I am grateful to have the support of someone as dedicated and selfless to help share the load. She is the quiet and in-the-background stage manager, constantly shifting the stage and preparing the next act; always ensuring that the people around her are successful, even at her own expense. Quiet however, is often mistaken for weakness. This is not the case, when she speaks people listen and are often better off for taking the time to do so. Ever since I've joined KSI and all throughout my time here, this man has been a constant mentor to me and many many others within DM. In fact, it would not be a stretch to say that DM wouldn't be as successful as it is today without Romeo. He devotes much of his off xbox time to the community, even going as far as jumping into parties while at work on the xbox app. Got a question about KSI? He knows the answer. Need guidance on direction for your own KSI experience? Hes your man. He personifies the ideal member that an up and coming officer wants to be and always makes the sacrifices necessary to ensure each and every member is taken care of, is having a good time, and genuinely feels welcome in the community. Even when the temptation of rank would take others to loftier heights. He is deserving of Division Leader of the Year because there is noone better suited to the title. In the beginning, things were rough due to the lack of officers and busy lives outside of KSI. Not to mention the numerous obstacles she dealt with on a daily basis IRL that would have caused lesser people to quit. But not Tyra. Throughout every challenge, Tyra never once gave up. Never once said she couldnt do it, and stepped down. She is the longest standing officer that Cruelty currently has, and that is for good reason. She is well respected, knowledgeable, friendly, has a genuine care for the members she leads, and is never too busy to lend an ear to those who need it. Someone who works that hard, and does so with a smile should be recognized for it. Anyone would be hard pressed to find a better candidate for Capt OTY. SGT: KSI Joe 7 Forums Account: @KSI Joe 7 If you were recruited into DM within the last few years than there is a good chance KSI Joe 7 is the gentleman who brought you in. First impressions are everything, and as these things go Joe is one of the best. As many of us can relate to, IRL can be full of unexpected challenges. However, that hasnt stopped Joe from continuing to be an active part of the community he loves. He always has time for the members, and is a trusted confidant/mentor for many of us who know him. Even when making that time comes at the cost of sleep, and his own mental fortitude. Though your ears may be a little worn down from the experience (yes he talks alot), he his a genuine person who is always willing to help those in need. Even though he may mercilessly crush you at every shooter known to man, hes never the type to rub it in your face. He constantly is seeking out new people to play with, and is actively including people he doesnt know simply to make them feel included as a part of this community. For every officer leading the front, there is a right hand enlisted that is carrying out the business at hand. Leafy is that person, and is worthy of CPL OTY.
