    This fella is definitely super deserving of OS 1 (IMO 2 as well! BUMP THIS MAN UP LOYALTY!!) He's always around, engaged, and reaching out to folks and setting up fun events to stream. Cheers Asuma, you a real Amish lad homie. Unfortunately I'm not as familiar with his vast Clan Ops accomplishments. But he's got great stories and that's how you know Asuma's seen some real shiit ya feel me :heart:

    Reason why they deserve this award: Jaxy has been very good this month, hosting big gamenights, workshops, doing PO training, etc. Jaxy has been on it ALL month for Vanquish. Keep up the rock-solid work bro.

    Reason why they deserve this award: Smitty has slowly but steadily stepped more and more into the Leader of Carnage role this month. Beginning to establish himself and lead his fellow Captains, forge long-term squad strategy and plans, and earn the deeper trust of the officers and members around him have been 3 key things Smitty's done this month to stand-out in May. Nicely done Smitty!

    Hatter’s been alll over WD this month. Helping cover for me and my busy work schedule as I take on more responsibility and a promotion at work. Hatter has been critical to getting WD Security Checks done in a timely fashion, the #1 Primary driver for WD’s AMAZING Spring Break participation, and the glue that’s been holding this Div together.

     

    BONUS! We can watch playoff hockey together! Yay!

    CLAN OPS NOTES

     

    Utilizing our Clan Ops Server
    - Voice Chats:
    We've noticed many parties getting pretty large and sometimes people are having to wait to get into some of our game night parties due to capacity limits of X Box parties. Please start making use of our so many voice chats we have available in our server! It takes only a couple minutes to link your discord to your x box and no don't worry the notifications don't transfer as well. 

    - Looking for people to game with
    Utilize our LFG section to find that 4th for your squad or whatever it may be, everyone's practically in this server so there's usually always someone searching just like you!

    - Staying in touch:
    Each Squad, Division, Officer Staff etc all have their own channels for text, voice and even video. We have our announcements and community tabs for important and fun things happening in our community as well. Use these channels to your advantage to stay in the know of the daily goings of your squads and divisions!

    Cashing in on your WHY:
    What was it that made you say yes when you were invited into KSI? Friends? Opportunities to game with and meet new chill people? Structured environment to thrive in? We all have our own WHY we joined buried under all that dust and we're curious what's yours? Whatever it may be, it can be used to do so many great things here! Ask your officers what exactly your WHY could do to help your squad grow, make the vibes, bring out the shooters, or the bots etc. We all have something special about ourselves and it's just waiting to be tapped into! The time is now to shine as bright as you possibly can so don't hold back!

     

    Conflict of Interest Policy

    Just as a reminder to all members, leaders, and everyone else. We have a Conflict of Interest policy in place for a reason, specifically with regards to dating and family members in a squad when one or both are officers. A lot of us tell ourselves that we are level-headed enough to be able to handle those tough situations where real life and KSI intersect in a professional manner. But when push comes to shove, there is a reason we transfer people between squads and bar those in leadership from handling situations regarding their family or significant others. It creates serious conflicts of interest down-the-line.

    TO BE VERY CLEAR! This policy will be 110% enforced now without failure. Officers who are dating within KSI, whether it's with a member or another officer on any level or in any Division MUST inform their General & 7s Staff immediately. This is not optional, & violating this policy not a good idea.

    Spring Break! 
    Guys and Gals don’t sleep on all the epic games we’ve got lined up for Spring Break! From Apex Custom Lobby Duo’s Speed Run to Modern Warfare II TDM 4v4. Make sure to link up with an officer or 7s staff to get you and your teams signed up! 

    Finding new people to play with:
    Being a part of KSI gives you hundreds of open opportunities to find new teammates and friends. Utilize the LFG channel to look for people playing the game you are and invite those interested to a party to squad up. Or maybe join a fellow members' party if they have an LFG up.

     

    Party Invites

    Sending out a round of invites isn't just something we do for gamenights, it's something we should be doing consistently on a day-to-day basis. Inviting ALL the members of your squad when you are starting up a party for member retention is a key way to engage members of your squad regardless of how many you know. 


    LOCKED PARTIES

    OFFICERS!!! Y'all should NOT be in locked parties unless you are handling KSI business, recruiting in LFGs, or having personal issues. You need to make sure that the parties you are in are open and inviting to the members of the squads that you represent and lead. Let's make sure we lead by example and bring life & FUN back to our parties!

    Motivation

    Motivation is the key to success, if your going through a tough time in your personal life or even in squad family, remember that you are important, you are valuable, and you can do anything that you put your mind to, never stop pushing!

    Spring break is around the corner, Could all divisional 7s please ensure that they have teams for the events and sign-ups posted ASAP to ensure that the event runs as smoothly as possible please and thank you

    T&E is still hiring, if hosting gamenights/competitive events interests you but you are unsure how to efficiently organize and run them and you want to learn how to do so have you ever considered joining the Tournaments and Events department as it is our specialty and we are always interested in those members that are eager to learn and be more involved in the community and ensuring everyone has fun

     

    Productions Announcements

    There is still a day left to submit your clips for this month! We are looking for clips of anything you deem exciting, funny, you name it! Submit your clips in the Clip-Submission channel in the community Server. Please understand that if the quality of your clips are not workable to make into the montage, we will not be able to accept it. You can submit your clips in the clip-submission channel in the Community Server or in the Clips channel in the Clan Ops Server. As a reminder, you can claim forums awards by participating in 3, 6, 9, and 12 clip compilations.

    This thread will be open from:
    March 1st - March 30th

    Please ensure you use the correct format when posting a submission. any questions please message KSIxAsuma 77, KSIxLEGIONx7, KSI Shooter, or KSI LeviMOFB.

    No matter what your rank or experience, you joined KSI to have a good experience and get involved, not to sit by yourself or not join in on the fun. If you feel like you're not getting enough out of your KSI experience then make a change and get involved! Show up to that gamenight you've been skipping every week. Jump in that open party you've had your eye on. Check out the departments in the community to see what peaks your interest! Nothing gained and everything lost if you don't give it a shot! There are numerous ways to contribute to KSI through Clan Ops, via KSI's other operational spheres. Member Retention, recruiting, promoting, gaming with fellow members, cohosting gamenights with your officers, and more! If you feel disengaged with KSI, then message your officer staff and ask them to help you get involved! Gamenights and party hopping are phenomenal tools for officers to get members integrated and re-interested in KSI.

    AAP Notes

    Dib Hall Of Fame is upon us again like that strange rash that KSI Uppish 7 just cannot seem to shake!
    DHoF noms will be open for 2 weeks and this is where you can nominate someone to receive the most prestigious award and honor we bestow on people. 
    Please please please remember that nominations MUST follow the format and criteria to be a valid DHoF nomination! So jump in and show someone that you appreciate their hard work here in KSI. 

    Again! PLEASE NOTE for all members running workshops that if you don't tag the attendees in the multinom when nominating they may not be awarded. Multiple times per week we have members asking where their awards are and it is always the case that they was not tagged so they didn't receive their awards.

    The AAP are bringing even more changes to the awards system. Some of the old staff awards are being rotated in and out with the next rotation being the end of this month so while they're here- grab em!

    Need a hand figuring out which awards you qualify for? Then check out the full list of awards today! Every award has a full description so you can know the requirements for each and every award. Also an AAP staff member is in your division, ask in the casual chat or tag 'department head'
