Slicky with the Blicky has always been good at what he does, but this month he really helped out CS. His communication was on point, he approached everything myself and shatner had to say with an open mind and was even there just to listen if need be. When he’s on you’ll likely find him gaming in a party with the members. He’s a master of time management, juggling a crazy work schedule on top of all his responsibilities in KSI. It is extremely rare you’ll catch slick in a bad mood, I don’t think I’ve ever seen the man angry even when we’re going over some serious stuff. He always joins ready to play some games and have a good laugh. Keep it up homie, I appreciate what you do for myself and CS.

If I’m being 100% honest, I don’t think there’s another division lead past present or future that can tolerate me as a cofo with all the random ideas and as shatner would say, my chicken little moments when the sky is falling. He’s one of the most open minded individuals I’ve ever met. He’s always down to try a new idea, he even lets me implement my own things and try out new things when the time is right. Communication is key with this man, it’s honestly one of his greatest qualities as a leader. If you need something, reach out and he’ll make sure it’s taken care of in a timely manner. He’s able to keep his cool in stressful or even infuriating situations and can still approach situations respectfully. Shatner is one of the GOATS. Without a doubt.

Azrael is just an all around good officer. He can recruit, promote and resend members with ease. He’s extremely knowledgeable on clanops and is always down to help in any situation. Azrael is one of Oblivion’s leading officers alongside his other two CPTs and Gen. His communication and teamwork amongst his officers is phenomenal. I see him going very far in this community, keep it up homie!

Oryx (DaKeech) is a phenomenal LT, when he came back to Rebellion he and 3 others decided to step up when no one else would. In a squad of no officers and an insane fluff number that would turn most away, he stayed. He recruited, promoted and hosted countless gamenights. His recent move to oblivion has been nothing but great as well. He gets with members everyday, goes recruiting and works with his other officers despite working 2 jobs and having a rough schedule. Much love homie, I appreciate you.

Since his return to KSI he’s been on top of his game. He’s phenomenal at recruiting and is becoming a very consistent officer. I’m very proud of him and his growth since rejoining. There isn’t a single member who doesn’t know who he is, he constantly in and out of parties with his squad and gaming with members. Keep it up homie, you’ll go far if you continue what you’re doing.

Despite his real life issues, fancy always finds a reason to smile and joke around. He’s like a zippo light in the wind, that flame just won’t go out. He’s one of the core members in oblivion and is loved by his officers, squad and division. Fancy was one of my recruits back when I was a captain and has stuck around through some harder times in clan ops. I truly appreciate him and I don’t think there’s a single SGT that deserves this OTM other than him.

Welcome to Critical Thinking 201. (CT 201)
Must currently be the rank of Lieutenant or Higher in Clan Ops
Critical Thinking 201 is a series of classes focusing on experiences and different perspectives you may encounter here as a leader. This is a bit different than Lead 101 as it covers more in depth scenarios that are based off of real events in the community you may run into as a leader. One of the biggest problems in KSI you can run into is being placed in a position you are unprepared for.
How you look at a squad or how you analyze a situation can be different than someone else. Whether that is due to difference in Rank, Personal Involvement, or even our past experience’s can shape how we think.
Throughout CT 201 we won't try to change your mind on a topic you feel passionate about but try to encourage viewing situations from different perspectives. There are no RIGHT or WRONG answers so be open to differences of opinions.
This is a 5 week commitment, and unless otherwise specified by the Education Mentor in charge of the class, the class will take place on the same day, at the same time every week.
As KSI operates in EST that will be the format given for the times listed.To enroll in these classes, you will sign up on week 1. You will then stay with the same mentor throughout their 5 weeks of classes. Should you miss a class, it is your responsibility to talk to your mentor about the options available to you. You are only able to miss 2 classes throughout this course. Please be sure to check your schedule and see if the selected dates work for you.
You will be given roles in the community server where you can communicate with other members of your class, the education department staff and your mentors!
You can not sign up mid way through a set of classes, you must enroll at the start of week 1.
Each class is capped at 10 members, so it is on a first come, first served basis. You will be notified if you are accepted into the class ; or if you were not among the first 10 eligible participants to sign up. If you are the latter, You will be given immediate positioning in the next CT 201 class as long as you can attend the classes.Class Schedule:

CEP: Forums Workshop
Workshop Introduction: The Forums are KSI's main source of information stored all in one convenient location. Learning how to navigate and utilize the Forums is an excellent skill. It can provide you with an experience that you enjoy and that you wish to share with others. Sergeants, Officers and Divisional Leadership are expected to be active on the forums.
Workshop Occurrence: This workshop will be offered at the discretion of Divisional Leadership and Squad Leadership: LT and higher.

Divisional Transfer Area:

Court Area:
This section exists for the specific use of the KSI Court Judges. These members are responsible for the safety and security of the community in regards to DNH'd & Blacklisted individuals. All appeals will be viewed and processed by the Judges panel in this section.(NEEDS UPDATED COURT TEAM)
Open Door Area:
This section is used by upper leadership in KSI to pass along divisional notes which are to be used for divisional/squad meetings. These notes cover Department Information passed along from the various Heads/Co-Heads concerning relevant information for the upcoming week. It also covers all Clan Ops announcements or changes that need to be done in all divisions .The Open Door Area can be used to openly or anonymously post a question for all the community to share their ideas or constructive criticism. Here you will also find various posts of Leader Meeting notes as well as the week in which they pertain too.

Joining Department Ops lets a member further their KSI career by participating in an area they’re interested in. Some of our Departments are system based, while many are based on the forums and function in conjunction with Web Ops. In an effort to improve participation and the overall quality of each Department, there is a cap on how many Departments a member can be a part of. Graphic Design:
KSI’s Graphics team provides image and logo editing and design for the benefit of our members. The team takes requests for banners, awards, logos, images, avatars and much more to provide images our members can utilize to show off their KSI pride.
The team works heavily with other departments to provide image services to their projects, as well as with Web Ops to keep our forums looking sharp. The team is also dedicated to training and teaching interested members how to improve with a variety of products, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Applicants will have tutorials and guides to follow and experts to give them pointers along the way.
To submit a request for the Graphics Team, head over to the KSI Community Server or the KSI Clan Ops Server and use the graphics request form.
News:
The KSI News Department is responsible for tapping the pulse of the community.
No other communication outlet can provide information tailored to the community quite like our own News Team. Our News Writers are encouraged to interact with members to find intriguing and compelling stories about individuals, groups, squads, or divisions that exemplify the KSI way. They’re constantly thinking outside the box and discovering topics for creative stories that KSI’s member base would find interesting. These pieces may be opinion-based articles, game reviews, surveys, polls, intellectual pieces, etc.
The News Department assists in developing content for KSI’s Social Media platforms.

Productions:
Productions is part of KSI’s multimedia umbrella, along with Graphics and News. Within this Department, members can explore the possibilities of live-streaming events to Twitch, editing together montage and clip packages, working with software to create intros and outros that will be used in videos and much more. The team is also comprised of staff who create long-standing shows and podcasts for KSI’s members to enjoy. Such shows are either streamed on Twitch or recorded and exported to YouTube.
Staff comes from inside and outside of KSI’s Clan Ops. Those involved in KSI’s Clan Ops are able to stream interviews, game play, and game nights involving their divisions, allowing a spotlight to be shined brightly on their members and activity. The team also runs contests such as the Upload Studio Montage Competition. This runs monthly and allows those who don’t have recording and editing software to put together montages that compete to be displayed on our YouTube channel. They also solicit short, interesting clips that can be passed along to KSI’s Social Media pages.
Tournaments & Events:
KSI’s Tournaments & Events Department (T&E) provides a competitive gaming atmosphere to compliment KSI’s casual community-centered environment. The T&E team plans and executes weekly Weekend Warfare events for all of KSI’s members. Some events are open to potential members who are interested in joining the community so they can get a feel for what is offered within KSI.
The team collaborates with other KSI Departments to make sure winners of events are recognized and awarded for their accomplishments. (Productions to assist in streaming events, News to cover events with in-depth recaps, and AAP to issue awards to winners of certain tournaments) The T&E team is always open to recommendations and suggestions for new competition and tournament ideas. The staff also sets up all of KSI’s Annual Events – Cupids Clash, Spring Break, Spirit Week, Donors Event, Fall Classic and Turkey Bowl.

I’ve know Sub for awhile now, I originally met him as KSIDEATHSTR0K3. He’s always had a personality that pulls people in. As far as Sub goes as an officer, he’s been phenomenal to work with. He decided to step up and help me in a squad that I can easily say was dying. He came in and wasted no time, immediately getting to work on a fluff evaluation, Security checks, gamenights and promotions. Mind you, he had just transferred and didn’t even have an opportunity to get to know the squad yet and still continued to try his hardest. Sub even continued to work through our holiday break (I had to tell the man to take a break!) to ensure his squad made it back to a healthy foundation of activity and communication. Sub is not only a great officer, but a phenomenal human being all around. There isn’t a single person in CS that doesn’t know and like sub. It’s hard to have issues with someone so understanding and kind hearted. I have no doubt that he’ll go farther than myself one day. I can’t wait to see it, keep it up homie.

Mr.Pickles has done a lot this year, everything from helping me learn my rank as a new General to now helping me as a CoFounder. One of the key moments in the year I’d like to speak about is when I got promoted to Gen, I got handed a squad with 30 fluff and was buggin out. Swag ended up giving me a fresh start and let me fluff all out so I could get a true number, my squad name was even made fun of to the point it demotivated my officers and he let me change it. That day changed everything for my squad, it motivated my officers and helped me build a successful team. It even made our members feel better and have a since of pride for their home. Now to speak on some IRL things, this year has been extremely hard. I’ve lost a lot of people, but swag never abandoned me. No matter how hard I may have been to deal with at times, he was always there to listen. Regardless of me screaming, crying or just all out anger for the world. He’s a rare find in this world, and truly is a good person. I hope when you read this, you know I appreciate what you do for myself and this community.

It’s hard to find where to start this one, Shatner is family honestly. When things got bad for me IRL, the man offered to fly me out and give me a new start. Something he’s done more than once. He’s always been accepting of my flaws not only as a leader but as a person and never tried to push me away or dip on me. He’s been there with me through everything this year. To speak on some KSI related things, he’s the main man that taught me the general rank. He let me make my mistakes, but taught me how to fix them aswell. He never tapped out on my squad or me, even when things were looking really bad. Shatner is a one-in-a-million friend, you’ll never find another like him. When he says he’s got you, he means it. Keep doing what your doing brotha, great things from here <3

Stack and his squad has been through a lot this year, but he always bounces back. No matter what you throw at the man, he always figures it out. His attention to detail and unwavering drive are some of the main attributes that contribute to his squad’s success. As far as his attention to detail goes, he’s a power house with paperwork. He’s always on time and goes in depth to explain his topics/situations with great detail. Stack is a great example of what it means to be a gen, I’ve asked him multiple times if he’d like to go to Cofo one day or what his goals in this community are and he always replies with something along the lines of “ I’d just like my squad to be healthy”. His squad is his true love in the community, I have no doubt in my mind that you’ll see great things from him this coming year.

Nezuko was a phenomenal Captain, always on top of paperwork and working with POs. He ran the squad in my absence a few times and never did bad. I’d even come back to a better squad sometimes. If you gave him a task, he’d complete with ease and in a timely manner. He dealt with a lot ranking up due to the health of our squad at the time but never gave up. When he got to Captain is when he really started to shine, he found his voice and sense of direction on his own.

Smokes want to learn and teach was second to none. He was a literal sponge, he absorbed any bit of knowledge given to him. He used every moment as a learning experience and worked on his weaknesses while building his strengths. His ability to teach is phenomenal, he’s relatable and personable. He also picks up on how individuals learn very quickly to adjust his workshops or behind the scenes talks to better help the individual.

Deku was a great SSGT, his ability to self educate was amazing. He took to the forums to learn everything he could before we even had an opportunity to teach him. He was very “by the book” and punctual, honestly one of his greatest qualities as an officer. He’s a very pure hearted person with one goal, to help whoever he can. That’s rare to find nowadays.

Azrael came into this community ready to learn, unlike a lot of old 7s that come in there was no sense of entitlement. He was he to work and earn his way back to the top. His ability to adapt to the new methods of this community is insane. He comes with an experienced approach to situations and is a well of knowledge and history for KSI. I have no doubt Azrael will make his way back to the top.

Swanny is great dude, he’s always pushing out events and promoting anything within his division. He’s great with member retention, even getting to those harder to reach members. He’s a down to earth person and that makes him easy to talk to, you can check his account any time he’s online and I promise you he’s hanging out with his members.
