So I only know Uppish from my Lead 101 class really,but I will drop in a tiny bit of support here.
Uppish is one of those people I can see going far in his KSI career. He had some amazing ideas for his squad when we had discussions,and truly believe he is implamating them now...and I say that because the simple nomination for this award goes to show that he is taking care of his people in DM. 
Every night I'm on,I take a quick look at my friends list to see what everyone's doing. This guy is always in a party,so rest assured that he is doing his job correctly as a Captain.
I'll let everyone else give their detailed knowledge of this guy,but he definitely deserves this award in my books.

Since ES is my home now, I thought I should share my history here. 
So I originally joined in 2012 back when I was in high school. My best friend was the original reason I got in, I basically was like his little sidekick following him everywhere....it was pretty sad looking back at it lol. He went more of a halo route and I desperately wanted to be in a battlefield squad because it was the only game I was in half-way decent at. So I was referred to literally the only battlefield 3 squad in KSI at the time...Raptor DM.
Also side note before I continue, I probably should apologize to all the leadership that remotely remembers me well back than. 16 year old me was annoying to say the least, and I'm sorry to anybody who was around me back then.
Anyways going into a battlefield squad was interesting to say the least. It was harder to recruit people,and even harder to keep people who you did recruit. So to anybody who successfully ran it, props to you. 
There were only a handful of officers to be seen. I can't even remember the captain's and lieutenant's we had. The general at the time was a guy named KSI Air Marshall..he spelt it weird because that's what everybody did in 2012. He eventually left KSI, but he became of my closest friends on xbox and also in real life. 
The second in command was the guy who recruited me in, I think it was like KSI Dragonborn or something like that. He wasn't around much at all,he lived in the EU and went MIA for a while. I'm still not sure if he ever came back,but I hope he's doing alright. I should also mention that he was a Major, which obviously by now is a rank we no longer have. 
I started off as a SGT and worked my way to General in under a year. It took time and dedication,but I somehow pulled it off with the help of my friends in my squad who made it a blast and the people within DM itself. There was a lot of drama that went on back then which eventually led me to taking over the squad,but by that time...I had been running it basically for a hot minute. 
In 2013, the squad really wasn't doing too hot and I was advised to merge Raptor with Rage,which was a Halo Reach squad at the time. It was definitely hard to dissolve Raptor,we worked extremely hard to make it work and we made it made it last longer that most people even thought we possibly could. 
After the merge, I ended up leaving for basic training for the USAF shortly after. I ended up taking a long hiatus coming back into KSI and ended up coming back into EF around 2014 when they were trying to make a xbox one division when it first came out.
I can't really say too much about my time in EF because it was very short lived. I left probably 2 months after joining and I'm not sure anyone really noticed. It was not my favorite memory lol. 
So here we are in 2019,nearly 7 years later after me initially joining. I honestly didn't think I would find myself joining back up...like it hadn't crossed my mind for like 5 years. I follow KSI on all of the social network stuff I can,and I guess I finally saw the light after all of these years lol. So I appreciate being welcomed into ES with open arms. I'm hoping with this,I can eventually become an officer again, but I know it's going to take some hard work. Hopefully I'll earn my 7 eventually, but only time will tell.
So thank you to all of the new friends I've made with coming back in. It means a lot to go from mostly a solo game to having friends to talk to again. It really,truly means a lot to me.
I also want to take the time to thank some of the past leadership that I had.
KSI ImPyyy 7 and KSI iLLuSii0N 7,thank you for the Netflix movie nights that we spent together back on the 360. You guys probably don't even remember it, but those were some amazing times for me that I enjoyed. I know you guys mostly hung out with me because you were close to Matt Wilson back then,but I appreciate you guys including me haha.
KSI Greg 7, KSI John117, KSI L10N 7, KSI Zodiac 7, and KSI Luci Lux 7. All of you took the time to teach a 16 year old how to become a good leader. Most of you probably don't even remember me,and I don't expect you too, but I appreciate all of you for taking the time and talking to me when I needed someone to. (KSI Sigma was me back then lol)
And for my current leadership KSI Jynxie, KSI Hatter 77, KSI xKing 77, and KSI Eyonia 7. Thank you so much for the warm welcome back into KSI. It's nice to be back,and you guys have made it a lot easier of a transition back. I appreciate all of you,and hope to game more with you guys in the future.

My Beginning: Alpha. Omega. Beginning and the end. Most people wonder where the heck I got Siggy from. Most people think I smoke cigarettes and just made a shortened version of it. The truth is that it stems from a nickname I had with my original KSI name, KSI Sigma. A person I was really close to thought it was cute to give literally everyone a nickname,and me being the 16 year old weirdo I was,I accepted it. I felt belonging with a nickname,I found a community worth coming back to because of a silly nickname. And of course,Sigma was kind of taken when I wanted to re-join.....

I have personally never talked to Greenday or been in a party with her,but I can attest that she is deserving of OS 2. So of course this goes without saying,this is my complete and unbiased opinion presenting the evidence at hand for this award.
Simply from a standpoint of a bistander's point of view,she has more awards than anyone else in KSI.
She has donated a significant amount towards KSI,earning multiple donation and bits awards,most of those...you have to donate quite a bit to receive.
She has been a Squad splitter at one point in time,whether she was a general or just part of the officer staff,the fact of the matter is that she helped make it happen.
She was Dept Member of the year. I don't know about you,but thinking about how huge of a deal that is....well it definitely is. There's quite a few members in all the departments,run by truly amazing individuals. She was handpicked out of everyone,she made strides and put forth effort to earn that right.
She has earned divisional hall of fame and the mentor awards. When you look at all of our leaders in past and present,you can clearly see that not everybody made that cut. You have directors and past board members who didn't make it. She clearly made a significant impact on her division as a leader and to her friends alike. 
She is the Co-head of HSI. This department was made with her help. That is a crowning achievement in itself. Building a whole entire department from the ground up,and making it successful is the dream. With everything they are having to keep up with,the department as a whole is doing a fantastic job. Everything is organized and efficient.
She is a forums moderator. She earned her own award,making her mark on KSI history. I don't know about you,but very few people are selected to take on this important job....so I'm jealous lol. This is a position that you are hand selected to do,a job that is very important and keeps us getting on here safe and sound. Earning this right is something I strive to achieve one day,so she has my respect.
Again,I do not know Greenday. The whole point of Outstanding Service Awards is to award the individuals who set an example amongst other people at their rank or position. I believe she has gone above and beyond those requirements. She is an example of what commitment to this community is.

Reason they deserve this award: Torch is one of the hardest working people we have in ES,and probably KSI as a whole. He does more than I could ever ask of him as his general. With him winning Spirit Week King this year,he more than deserved it with partcipating in a multitude of events and taking quite a few wins while he was at it. He is engaged with our members of ES on a daily basis,but knows when he needs to take a step back and just relax with his friends. I may not have gotten to really know him on a personal basis,but I can count on him any day of the week to get stuff done. While I definitely think that he earned the Spirit King award,I think this would be a good step in showing him that he deserves this recognition because he's more than earned his keep around here. Most people would tell me to stop boosting his ego,but I think after spirit week...he's earned it.

Reason they deserve this award: Since my time in ES, Jynxie has been there every step of the way. From her time as the General over Banshee to now being on the key leaders of our division,she has played an important role in not only my KSI career,but countless others. I can say without a doubt that she is one of the hardest working people in KSI,something I mention quite often. With that said,she has been one of the few people keeping me going in KSI and I can't thank her enough for everything she's done. She earned her member spotlight when she got it...now give her that 7 spotlight. 

Five Ways to Prevent Burn Out
Overview: We as members and leaders need to be careful not to over-commit. If we do, the effects can trickle down and affect our members. While these issues may seem major and have no cure or remedy in sight, there are some things we can do to help prevent or manage our burned-out mentalities.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
1. Taking a Break
Sometimes as leaders and as individuals we need to learn how to take some time for ourselves. Between various KSI duties and real-life issues, we find ourselves drowning in work and the best course of action is to just take a breather. Taking a leave of absence, LOA, or just taking a day off Xbox to rejuvenate can go a long way in terms of remaining healthy and at the top of our game.
Note: Leave of absence is a temporary leave from Xbox and KSI due to personal reasons including but not limited to; Loss of Internet, Death in the Family, Vacation, Military Leave, etc. You may return to your position and squad upon returning unless extenuating circumstances arise. To take a leave of absence contact your officer staff or divisional leadership for more information.
 
2. Deferring Additional Duties
As leaders we try to take on too much and sometimes that involves assuming the duties of someone that is a lower rank because you wish to be helpful. However, this can have multiple negative effects on both you and those who follow you within your rank structure. You are preventing them from gaining experience handling the duties assigned to them as well as giving yourself double or sometimes triple the work. 
For example: Allowing an inexperienced Lieutenant to do their job is sometimes for the best rather than taking on their task as well as yours.
 
3. Avoid Assuming too much Responsibility
One of the biggest things that plagues leaders is the desire to assume more responsibility. This is mostly when web or department operations and additional clan-ops duties come into effect. While we always love when members explore other facets of KSI, we also prefer they do it when they have enough time and energy to handle the responsibilities of all their jobs. All departments require commitment. Many department heads ask their applicants if they see themselves as having enough time to complete the tasks assigned. 
 
4. Ask for Help
Similar to deferring additional duties, do not be afraid to ask for help from those around you. This helps not only relieve some burden, but also allows someone with a fresher mindset to focus more on that one task while you can get some relief and focus on another. The worst thing you can do as a leader is to not encourage members helping members. Simply put, we are a community and teamwork can accomplish a lot of things.
 
5. Have some Fun
We tend to forget the key part of being apart of an Xbox community and that is we are on Xbox. Sometimes we need to take a step back and play some video games. All work and no play will hinder your enthusiasm as well as your overall mood which can have effects on squad and division morale. We all have personal lives which require responsibilities and when we come home and want to unwind it can be dangerous to hop on Xbox and treat it like a job 24/7. The idea is to release some stress through games and we should never forget that.

Communication (7/2/19)
It is important to keep in constant and open communication with your fellow officers. The officer staff can and should be a cohesive unit working to solve any and all problems that might arise. It is crucial that you maintain open communication by posting in your perspective officer chats, private messages or by getting in party's together. You guys and gals are a team and should always be working together toward the greater good for your squad/division. To be patient with each other and work together toward a common goal of better Communication with everyone.
 
Chain Of Command: (7/2/19)
I know most of you Divisions have new or newly promoted Directors. Please understand they are there to help you and be apart of your team. If you do not allow your 7 staff to reach out to them for help then it can and will cause issues. Jumping over ranks is not healthy for a division either. If your issue in anyway could cause another issue because it could involve the rank above you then you can jump to the next rank. 
Also be patient with newly promoted officers of any and all ranks. As we all know you don’t always know everything about the rank till you are sitting in the rank. 
 
Cleaning Up Recruit/Squad Clubs & Tags: (7/2/19)
Please ensure that members promoted to PVT are being removed from your Recruit Club/Tag. When members are promoted to PVT, please ensure that they are being added to their squad club/tag at the time of the promotion or shortly after. This is to ensure that your tag is always up to date and accurate. This will also ensure that recruits are being promoted, and you are fluffing anyone overdue for promotion as they may no longer be interested in KSI. Generals and 7’s staff should work in unison to ensure that their clubs/tags are accurate and clean. 


Omega Sign Ins (7/2/19)
Please ensure that you and your staff are signing into the omega. There should be no reason why multiple 7's and generals are going offline for 4, 6 or even 7 days. Please remember that we do get notified when you are off for 4 days and when you hit 7 you will serve a rank suspension.

OPEN DOOR POLICY: (7/2/19) 
The Open Door Policy is your way as a member or officer to go to a specific rank in your structure that doesn’t necessarily follow the appropriate chain of command. In this RARE instance, this takes place only because you feel that utilizing this would get you the best fix or solution for any issue you have. This is not to be abused or mistaken for skipping chain of command for every little issue you come across because it may be convenient for you at the time. In most scenarios you should utilize your chain of command properly and if you are unable to get a response or solution to the problem after 24 hours since the initial contact, you can then go to the rank above or to the rank you feel could help your situation.

Productions
Starting this month we going to be bringing back the Upload Studio Montage Competition. The topic will open on July 5th and will close of the 25th. Every Montage submitted will earn your division 1 participation point. All montages must be at least 45 seconds long, and must be made using Upload Studio on Xbox. At the end of every month Productions Staff will vote on the best Montages. Top 3 will be posted on YouTube. So I'll throw my witness statement out there for the heck of it.
When I first rejoined KSI back in February, Fadez was actually the Join Moderator who did my application. He was polite,professional,and got my application done in a timely manner. With that said,he was the inspiration of why I wanted to become a Join Moderator myself. He has done countless applications besides mine,and helped in making this a community become a better place because of the work he has put in. He has been a huge help with us newer moderators to make sure we are doing the applications correctly and giving us useful information along the way. 
I have not worked with Fadez on a clan-ops level,but from what I've heard...there's a reason he's earned that 7 in his name. Also just looking at his awards,there is some dedication to this community dating back to 2012 when I first came in. Props to him for sticking it out throughout the years!
From a department ops perspective, I can say he has done an amazing job as the head of HSI and as a member of the News department. He has done some amazing articles in his time in News and keeps HSI running smoothly. 
I haven't really gotten to know him on a personal level yet,but let's go over some facts that we know of: He has been a leader in this community eventually reaching KSI Divisional Hall of Fame. He has been a mentor to many..not just in the form of an award here on the forums,but I'm sure you can ask quite a few people that he played a role in their KSI career. He is a friend,the people who he has chosen to let get to know him talk nothing but great things about him. Many people consider him family,which is something we strive to achieve in this community. Building bonds with others only helps better this community as a whole.
I'm sure there are more people who could give a much better explanation as to why he deserves this award,but this is my little way of giving back to you. You helped me get me back in this community,and I can't thank you enough for that.

Spirit Week 2019 Final Update (Keep Until SW):
You now have exactly 1 week to get all of your divisional teams signed up for every event! This is a big deal so PLEASE stay on top of hosting tryouts and getting rosters organized. Late Sign Ups WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. We understand that Divisions may not have a team for every event but that is not an excuse to not participate in anything!
 
Subscription Push / Donor Event (Keep Until SW):
IMPORTANT: It is a huge, huge thing for us to have all the members who can subscribe/donate to our twitch channel (twitch.tv/KSILive). Subbing is only $5 per month or is absolutely free if you have Amazon Prime. All of the money donated goes right back into our annual events in the form of prize money, give-aways, and gift-cards. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBSCRIBED, please make sure that you have posted for yourself on the forums under the AAP section to receive your award and VIP access on the forums. This will be required in order to participate in any Donor Events for the foreseeable future.
 
Professionalism: (6/12/19)
Please remember that in this community, we highly value respect between members regardless of rank or stature. It is important that during normal conversation (and specifically when having an issue with a member or leader) that professional tones and languages are maintained. Leaders: Just because you have a rank doesn't mean you can talk to members however you please. Members: Although you do not have a rank to lose, you are a member of this community and thus will show respect to each other. Any violations of respect or unprofessionalism should be reported to the proper chain of command.  
 
Push for Community involvement Universally:
 
To all members in the community, specifically the leaders: Get involved in departments and Div Cup. These are 2 crucial components to this community and it is the duty of every member and leader, to at least try to get involved with them and if not, push those around you to do so. Again, why not optimize your KSI Experience by trying everything that you can to see what it is that you want to do in your career with us?
 
Positivity (6/4/19)
Make sure that when we as leaders are dealing with issues that we are not venting towards or creating an air of negativity. It is our job, as leaders within the community to handle and address issues as they come up, doing our jobs should never impact our members and their experience.
 
HSI Stats (6/4/19)
Please make sure we are getting these done and back to your Directors in a timely manner. This is not a hard process to complete and we only ask for them once a month. This helps track your Divisions growth and History. We all need to work together to make sure our Divisions have accurate History for the future members of KSI to look upon.  
 
Discord COC Applys (6/11/19)
Please remember that the COC applies in your discord server. When chatting in there it is the same as being in a party. We don’t want to be breaking any part of the COC especially harassment of fellow KSI members. Remember if your having an argument take it into a private DM and please remember the officers are there to help resolve any issues that might come up.
 
Discord Uniformity (6/12/19):
We have been in the process of creating uniform Discord servers for every division for quite some time now. In the weeks to come some of these changes will be made towards achieving that goal. This includes but is not limited to:
Deletion of unnecessary roles
Permission changes
Deletion of chats and channels (Yes this includes the meme channel due to abuse on several accounts)

There will not be any meetings next week due to spirit week, enjoy the events and cheer on your division! 
 
Any and all recruits that come in please make sure they are trained in a timely manner and not just sitting on the tag waiting. We will not be holding them on there for weeks anymore. 
 
Retention, When you are recruiting people in your squads make sure you are fully integrating them with their fellow members. Take them around and introduce them to other members with common game interests so that they aren't constantly seeking the person who recruited them alone
