The following are suggestions from the Productions Team: Brawlhalla R6S Black Ops 2 PUBG Gamenights - Let's try Friday's Jackbox (?) on Friday, July 19th @ 9pm EST Montage and Clip Submissions Clips: 1 point (2 max) Montage: 1 point Intros and Outros while doing streams Introduce yourself and what you'll be doing on stream Don't end streams abruptly Upload Studio Montage Competition - I will post voting thing once it’s ended Ends on July 25th We will vote for our top 3 and put those on YouTube I will post a topic in the Film Team where you will have the chance to vote on your top 3! Please be sure to utilize the Calendar! If you plan on streaming it needs to be added onto the Calendar prior to your stream. Aim to get activated 1 hour prior to your stream time. Felco Announcement: Message felco6416 if anyone is interested in co-streaming! Staff Vote for Upload Studio Montage Please vote by the end of the weekend! Streaming a Weekend Warfare counts as 1 of your 2 streams. 7s vs Viewers: August 30th @ 9pm EST Black Ops 2 Starting August: 1) 2 streams a month minimum. (No Exceptions unless given consent) If you fail to stream 2 times in 1 month you will be given a strike If it happens again you will be removed from the department 2) If you sign up for Weekend Warfare you need to stream it If you are unable to stream WW please inform the other members of the department so we can find another streamer Similarly to 1), you will also get a strike for this. Videos need to be up the NEXT day after events Trixie is interested in helping out with editing Shell downloaded Shotcut. There are lots of YouTube tutorial videos out there for Shotcut. 2. What can go on YouTube in a consistent way? New videos every Monday, Wednesday, Friday Awesome moments from streams Weekend Warfare Finals Let me know if there are any cool highlights from your streams - I can clip them and put them on YouTube!! 3. Find more people who are interested in joining Productions! Reach out to your divisions! 4. Streams every day. Let's get our streams on the Calendar! 5. Suggestion: Better communication with T&E. Invite streamer to the T&E party before event starts. It is very boring to watch a stream when there is no conversation going on. Make sure content on the streams is relevant to the game. Recognizing the members who are participating in the event, hyping members up, etc. Upload Studio Montage Competition Voting Please go vote for your top 3 montages if you haven’t done so already. Even though it’s now open to the community and not just Productions staff who can vote, I still expect you guys to support the department by voting. Friday the 13th Gamenight 11/8 at 10 pm EST KSI Calendar 2 streams per month Get your streams on the Calendar! Comments: T&E was a lot better communicating the last annual event Brackets - putting divisions in brackets, or pull up the sign ups Shell and December will talk about the max # of people we can have in Productions Please congratulate KSI Soap 7 on his promotion to Senior Staff! Shell 218 Posted March 7, 2020 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2020 Meeting Notes from 3/7/2020 Minimum requirement is 2 streams per month. Streams must be an hour or longer. If you only stream for 20 or 30 minutes you are potentially taking away time from other members. Streams can include gamenights, your own game play, etc. Previously only 1 Weekend Warfare could count toward your 2 streams. That is no longer a thing. If you stream 2 Weekend Warfare's in one month then you will have your minimum of 2 streams. Streaming Annual Events also counts toward your monthly streams. Two streams is not the maximum amount of times you can stream per month, it is the MINIMUM. You are more than welcome to stream even 4 times per month if you wish! We just ask you to meet your minimum requirement to remain in Productions. Streaming Weekend Warfare's are Annual events: PLEASE BE PREPARED. Lately several streamers have not been prepared beforehand when they had signed up to stream events. This makes the department look bad and also puts a stressor on T&E. Please be prepared at least 30 minutes prior to event start times and ensure you know how spectator mode works and know how to set up lobbies in case T&E Staff ask you to be a neutral host. Please tag BOTH KSI MeShell 7and KSI Soap 7 when you are ready to get activated for a stream. Once you are activated, one of us will post in the chat to let you know you are good to start streaming. Failure to meet the 2 streams per month: Basically 3 strikes and you’re out if you do not have a valid reason not to meet the minimum requirement. Essentially not meeting the minimum requirement in 3 of 12 months out of the year will result in removal from the department. I wrote up a new Guide to Productions. Remember to Get activated at least 45 minutes to an hour for streaming events. Remember to get your two streams in a month/Lets get more streams on the calendar We are a family! Let's get to know another!: Be more talkative in the "Team-Speak" channel Shall we change the name of the "Team-Talk" Channel on Discord? If so, what to? Let's play games together! Play some games together and hang out. Do we want to have a monthly "Productions Gamenight"? STREAM OFF!!!!: Competition to see who can get the most streams in a month's time. Streaming on KSILive There has been an issue for a while now that we do not have many streams each week. Lets work on filling up the calendar! At the end of your stream, take a moment to advertise the next stream that is scheduled to help promote your fellow streamers! Spring Break! There are still a few spots open for streamers on some of the events. Please notify MeShell or myself if you are interested. The following are a few tips for streaming events: intro and outro your stream, coordinate with host(s), pick a game you're comfortable with, and do some test runs to familiarize yourself with the in-game streaming controls. Do not be afraid to stream as much as you would like. - Please do not forget to post your streams on the calendar. This will help KSIxAsuma 77 coordinate his availability and will help you to not forget when you are streaming. - If KSIxAsuma 77 is not available to activate you or change your title, you may also get ahold of KSI MeShell 7. If she is not available, contact KSI Airborne 7. Ideas from the members: - Interact with the chat as much as you can. Try different ways to involve them in your stream. (ex. Have them choose what mission, loadout, or any other particulars happen in the stream) This may help with growth of viewers. - Consistent streaming: Set a schedule for when you know you are able to stream. This can help boost views when those following the channel know when you are streaming next. Do not be afraid to promote the next stream that is expected to happen as well. - Is it possible to do overlays for the stream to spice up the look of the stream? (We will look into this or figure something like it to liven things up) - If you have any good ideas on how we can boost the live and overall viewer count, please speak with KSIxAsuma 77 or KSI MeShell 7 and even talk about it in the "Team-Talk" channel on Discord. After you finish streaming please sign out of the KSILive twitch account. If streaming multiple days it is okay to stay signed in, Just make sure you check the calendar before starting a stream so it doesn't mess up someone else streaming. - Currently looking for senior staff, those who are wanting to step up, take care of productions duties, teaching new members. Type of things I (Asuma) is looking for in Senior Staff: Productivity and Activity, Consistency with streaming, Initiative, Helping stream events, being available to help other members with questions about streaming. If interested please get with Asuma about your interest. - When streaming please stay away from using music during the stream. due to Copyright. - Schedule for streaming: If you are wanting to stream, Put event in calendar to make it easier to see your total streams. Try to get more streams per month from the team. Get more consistency to get more active viewers on the channel. - Reminder: Advertise your streams on Discord, as well as advertise streams for the next stream on the calendar. To get more viewers. - Getting the word out there for The 7th-Hour Podcast by advertising throughout KSI. Annual Event Streaming: -Streaming Annual Events: Weekend Warfare and Annual Event schedules will be post in the stats_and_announcement channel. Let's fill these events up with streamers that need streamers. Either message directly Asuma 77 or post in Team_Talk if you are interested in streaming one of these events. If you have trouble talking while streaming events, find you a co-host for the stream to help you out, or you should watch how others talk during the streamed events and see how they talk during the streams. Ideas For Productions: - Starting up Productions Gamenights to get too know each other a little bit. - Putting a list of who all is in each Dept. Perhaps we could make it a requirement that members of the Productions Team have to submit a 1 clip each month. - Streaming an event counts as a stream for the month. Don't forget that! - Don't be afraid to do a stream that is based around "how to guides" and not just streaming a game to stream. Mix things up and try something new! - Be more vocal about what you do in Productions and what you can do to help your fellow members of your divisions. You are an ambassador for the Productions Department!
