    Professionalism: 

     

    Please remember that in this community, we highly value respect between members regardless of rank or stature. It is important that during normal conversation (and specifically when having an issue with a member or leader) that professional tones and languages are maintained. Leaders: Just because you have a rank doesn't mean you can talk to members however you please. Members: Although you do not have a rank to lose, you are a member of this community and thus will show respect to each other. Any violations of respect or unprofessionalism should be reported to the proper chain of command.  

     

    Finding Potential Officers:

     

    Remember as we are growing our squads, we do need officers to help handle the day to day activities for the squad. We will never force anyone to be an officer rather as leaders we can try ways to motivate those who have at least thought about stepping up. Recruiting workshops & CEP workshops are ideal events to host to help introduce what is required of an officer. If people approach you or your officers about the possibility of stepping up then do your best to assist them. For members who want more information about becoming an officer please contact your officer staff and/or general for more information. 

     

    KSI Hydra Chat Standard Procedure:

     

    Moving forward if any problems come up involving Hydra please report the information including proof up the chain of command to your Division Leader. The div leader will then inform their director and they will pass the proof on to Hydra. They will look into and deal with said person if they are still part of Hydra. Please be patient it might take 48 to 72 hours giving that it involves multiple communities.

    This will be a new positive step in the right direction towards peace. It might take a little bit of time to work out all the little problems. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

     

    Handling Issues:

     

    If a  member comes to an Officer or 7 staff with an issue please allow 24-72 hours for the issue to be handled. Sometimes life gets in the way of handling these things in a timely manner. After the 72 hour mark reach out to the Officer that you first contacted. If you reach out with no luck then and only then go to the next rank in line. Although the 7s are a last resort to reach out to they are still there to help resolve any issues. We encourage all members to follow the Chain of Command.

    Hydra Game Plan Moving Forward

    Starting 9/1/2020 we will be downgrading Hydra from Blacklist Communities to DNH. 

    This will be a 3 month trial period if everything goes the way we hope then at that point we will reevaluate the next step (either remove them from DNH or give the trial more time).

    DM will keep them on a divisional security risk for the next 3 months. Anyone that wants to have Hydra on their friends list can do a Division Transfer without penalty of a rank demotion or a 3 day wait period. Keep in mind that upon a Div Transfer there has to be a seat available where the member is transferring. If there is not a seat in said rank you would drop to the next available rank or choose a different division. This will also be for members who choose to transfer into DM. Once everyone approves the transfer can be completed.

    Also we will be revamping the blacklist to remove other communities that no longer pose a risk to KSI. J2H will remain blacklisted. We will also be changing several people from Blacklisted to DNH. If they do anything that merits them being blacklisted they will be added back to the blacklist and reevaluated in six months.

    - Nominations for DOTM closed the 29th. Leaders. please make sure to nominate those members you feel have gone above and beyond for this month.

    DHoF

    - Nominations for DHoF for the Fall Classic period are now open! They nominations will close September 5th. This gives you 3 weeks to decide who you will be nominating for your division’s Divisional Hall of Fame. However, they must meet some specific criteria.

    1. Must currently be in the division they are being nominated for.

    2. Must be in the division for at least six (6) months.

    3. Must be in KSI for at least one (1) year.

    4. Not been blacklisted, security risked, or DNH’ed unless successfully appealed and overturned.

    5. Must have KSI gamertag.

    - On Saturday, August 29th, T&E will be hosting a Rocker League 1v1 Tournament. The event starts at 8:00pm EST, and sign-ups close promptly two hours before the event starts. (6:00pm EST.)

    The KSI Productions Presents… FRIDAY FACE-OFF: DEPT./WEB OPS vs. CLAN

    OPS   On Friday August 28th, the Productions team will be hosting an event on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to see which team can come out and show who the better gamers are. Over the past few years the members of both Department Ops and Web Ops have shined in this community and have shown what they’re all about in their respective areas of KSI. Most are members of Clan Ops as well because that is where we all start.
