Kilamanjaro 87 Posted August 18, 2013 Report Share Posted August 18, 2013 Phoenix SH Squad Meeting 8/17/2013 Leader Meeting Notes Blacklist/Security- Be on heightened alert, and make sure background checks are being done thoroughly and correctly. We've had a few issues recently and everybody needs to be on the lookout and doing things properly. Further more, pay attention to messages and forwards them along so that people can be informed and included when things arise. You don't want to see your divisions/squads fall prey or victim to these gamers. Join Section- It's been a mess. Whoever post first has claims, nobody else can enter the fray. There needs to be communication and order. There is going to be a change. Only people with Leaders Access will be able to use the section. Improvement- KSI as a whole is getting better every week. Keep your eyes open and make sure you're being cautious in your growth. Squad Notes Workshops- Going to start Holding Workshops Wednesdays. We can still hold multiple workshops throughout the week but this will ensure at least One Sgt-Cpt workshop will be held each week for those wanting to learn. Recruiting- We do need to pick up on the recruiting. My best advice would be to go into lobbies with 2 or 3 members that way you are chatting but wont be too intimidating. With that being said that means the SH generals will be going beast mode! so all of them will be busy! Don't forget to help them out when you can! Help Out: Do the Little Things, we all can help out our squad become strong and uniform. Make sure we check each others uniforms and security settings. Nothing looks better then a well dressed squad member. So don't be afraid to say something be Proud OF YOUR SQUAD wear it with pride! Respect: Make sure you are being mindful that we are all part of one family and to respect each other. Don't talk over each other, wait your turn. Treat them Like you would want to treated. We also need to start playing our squad game more often. (Black Ops 2). The KSI Code Of Conduct needs to be followed this includes all emblems and game related content. Members was also informed that we should all keep an eye on each and if you see something out of place on someones bio they should pull them into a party and offer guidance and assistance on the matter at hand. In regards to long absences it is every members job to inform an officer or general of the squad. If members don't notify a officer or general they could possibly face a removal from the squad or possible rank demotion. HEADHUNTERS: Headhunters team will be looking at starting up. The First tryout will be held 9/13/2013 at 6 pm central 7 pm Eastern. The following Saturday 9/14/2013 will be another tryout at 3 pm eastern or 2 pm central. Also, forums awards will be given to those who show up on the forums and post in the thread. Market it as, “Board of Directors Gone Wild.†It’s a huge milestone and the Board will be playing with everyone and getting drunk. Promotions: From SGT—Senior Director. Have them get on the forums and read their job description so they understand what will be asked or required of them for that job and beyond. Quiz System: The following is highly advised, but not required: There is a new quiz system on the Forums. It was purchased and added to the website. Testers don’t have to go anywhere but our Forums, where they should already be, and take the test. Tests are not up and operational just yet, but will be very soon. Tests will be administered for promotions to Lieutenant, Captain, and General. Tests will be similar to previous testing system and anyone can see the results, so Leaders can easily see what testers did. *It will be up very shortly. Game nights are getting a little slow so if anyone is online we would appreciate it if you would at least make an appearance and get to know your fellow KSI members! We know that you all play with none KSI members and we understand this so why not bring them along to our game night! You never know they could game with us and want to join! But make sure they are respectful game players. Look for Cross div/squad game nights Respect: With the possibility of new people coming in to our game night we need to make sure we treat EVERYONE with respect. Do not talk over other people. I will not promote you to an officer rank if you do not do the work. Recruiting SOP: When recruiting it is standard Operation procedure that ALL recruits do to the recruit tag. If going out recruiting clan wars is a very useful tool that we can utilize to recruit people in. Muting/Respect: Recently we have had issues with people muting other squad mates. I understand that some people are going annoy you, but we are one big mixed family guys. If you need a break from that person then take it, then come back later and talk to the person in question. They may have not realized that they crossed the line with you. And respectful thing to do is talk to them and not side blind them. We are all adults and should act as such. It makes things more complicated and awkward when they realize they have been muted and don’t know why. You would want to know why so give them the same respect and talk before acting… Announcements: Christmas Give away for Phoenix! Recruiting Numbers: The recruiting numbers for Phoenix has been on a steady decline; we as members should see that this is switched around quickly. We are required to get 5 recruits per week. The 5 recruit quota is very vital to us and our survival rate as a squad. The loss of one of our best recruiters is one that has hit us prettty hard and now that he or she has moved on to bigger and better things there is a new position opened up for best recruiter in Phoenix. So Bosslady has challenged all of phoenix to become the next best recruiter. Current top recruiter for Phoenix is KSI Big Hoss at 10 recruits. There is a rumor going around that if you can surpass 10 recruits there may be a prize to the first one to pass that mark. (subject to change). Remember though that recruiting is not just about numbers we need to focus on good quality recruits. The recruits will need to be very active and friendly. When recruiting someone always ask yourself "Can i see myself playing with person a week from now" if the answer is no then maybe the person would not be a great fit for the KSI family as a whole. Dont be discouraged let Bosslady, big hoss, or gooier beatle know maybe we can find a squad where they may work. STATUS ON WHAT CONSOLES AND GAMES 2. To all members who have not sent KSI BossLady a message in regards to if you will get the xbox one, ps4, cod ghosts on christmas please let her know. IF you need time away to cool down then do so people will respect you more for that then you screaming in thiers ears. DO not mute people talk to them first! After you take a short break to cool down. But if you talk to them about their actions please make sure you talk to them in a private chat.
