Recruiting: stay on that recruiting guys. we are almost at 40 trying to push 50 but remember, quality over quantity 2. We need great involvement from every one in the squad for spirit week or else they are replacing all of our div heads and we dont want that so get hyped up! 4. Most import J2H, HFA, Bills KSI along with others. everyone now knows 2) Members removed from SH: KSI Sad Tempah, KSI Krusty Krab, and KSI Deathmask have been removed from SH due to extreme disrespect of the 7's which is in no case tolerated. They are to be removed from all friends lists and have communications blocked. 3) LGC; KSI Pazuzuuu, KAPPA, and BUD LIGHT left KSI and formed LGC and are now a security threat and need to be removed from friends lists and communications are to be blocked. 4) NEW TEAMS: we finally have all of our teams started up so That means Head Hunters, SWAT, Snipers, Griffball, and even Team Doubles. If you would like to join any team please contact myself or any of the team captains and they would be more than happy to give you a tryout! 5) Inter murals!!: I am now introducing Inter mural nights. much like gamenights but with a competitive fun edge. sign up with a group of four from our squad and compete in a tournament of whatever the gametype of the day is for bragging rights and maybe even microsoft points!!!! So lets get on our recruiting game which we are known for and step it up! 2) Activity: we have had extremely poor activity on halo lately and thats going to change. We have been complaining that we dont play enough so lets do it. Time to get active so get to these gamenights! 3) New Groups: NEW TO SH we are starting a Kickass racing league starting up this week so start your engines. Also KSI Sangheili will be starting a swordsman league for anyone interested! so lets who is the master of the blades. 4)Promotions/demotions: we are having very poor activity and involvement from our officers in UPRISING. so if you want to keep your position and maybe even wanna move up you better earn it and on a daily basis. So i need everyone who is able to to orientate these new guys and make sure that everything is correct with them and get them involved!!! We wouldn't wanna go back to 80 because people got bored. 3) Squad Split: Of course everyones asking about the squad split since we reached the cap but I need you guys to be patient. It cant be just right away but I promise you it will not take as long as it did back in Phantom. the current estimation is it will be in a week and a half or two so heads up itys not to far away!!! 4) IGU: You guys already know about IGU and how there a security threat but the level of their security threat has been jumped as to recent events so anyone having to do with anything about IGU are to be removed from all friends lists and comms are to be blocked as per Zohan and Impy 7. parties are on invite only at all times! KSI Hex 77 207 Posted July 25, 2013 Report Share Posted July 25, 2013 Meeting Notes 7/20 1) Recruiting: as stated before we do not need anymore recruits! we are currently at 96 members and we do not need anymore! however if you are playing and you find someone that really want to join we are allowed to bring them in but otherwise dont go out of your way! 2) Orientating: We have done a good job orientating and training but there are still a few who still need so please get at done where needed! 3) Squad Tag sweeps: As an officer it is a responsibility to be sweeping the squad tag for anyone who has not been trained, there motto or bio is incorrect and also is not active and correcting the stated problems so that should be done at least once every day 4) Background checks: When recruiting new members it is mandatory to do background checks on them. You do so by scanning their friends list to make sure they have no ties or associations to any other clans or communities especially those that are blacklisted. after this is done you must message myself or the recruit tag and let it be known that that person is checked and clean! 5) PRIVACY SETTINGS!: THIS IS MANDATORY!! we have a rediculous amount of people in the squad with incorrect privacy settings! once recruited it is mandatory that your motto and bio is visible to all (showing your affiliation with KSI) and your friends list be set to FRIENDS ONLY. This is extremely important and must be changed by everyone immediately! 6) Forums: Forums activity as of right now is extremely weak and needs to be improved on. you must sign in at least once every 14 days or you get suspended y the site and if that apens you will be recieving rank suspension from myself along with KSI Doctor 7 so please get active on the forums!! 7) Workshops: we have already had a Luitenants workshop hosted by myself and KSI Doctor 7 but he will be hosting a double event this Friday. he will host a forums workshop at 6:30 est and a Captains workshopm promptly after at 7:30 est so ifyou intend to be promoted or hold your officer rank it is suggested that you attend these! KSI Hex 77 207 Posted July 30, 2013 Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 Meeting Notes 7/29 1) Squad Split: we all have been looking forward to this squad split for an extremely long time it feels like and it was supposed to be tonight but it wasn't because we were not ready. In order to make this squad split happen we need to focus and recruit a couple more people which shouldn't be a problem. on top of that we need to train those people and the biggest thing we need t do is push these privacy settings for anyone who doesn't have them. THIS IS MANDATORY so lets get it done so we can finally make this split happen! 2) Recruiting: we need a couple more recruits so I want all my officers to pull in at least one recruit. our cap is 100 but I dont care if we go over we go over but we need to bring in some fresh blood so lets get out there and do it. 3) Gamenights: Same deal as always. If you would like to host a gamenight please contact me to schedule it. We have consistently had the same couple people host gamenights so im looking for more of the new sergeants and members to host them so please do!! 4) Weekend warfare and 7's gamenights: We have gotten more involved with weekend warfare which I love but lets try to get as many active in it as we can. We got beat pretty hard the last two but its still fun and a great way to branch out and meet new people so sign up on the forums! also 7's gamenights will now be hosted on thursdays at around 7 est so please hit me up fore more info they are extremely fun! 5) Forums Activity: we just had that greast workshop by Doc 7 about the forums and ive already seen an improvement in forums activity level but lets keep it up. KSI Hex 77 207 Posted August 7, 2013 Report Share Posted August 7, 2013 Meeting Notes 7/4/13 1) Congratulations!!: WE FINALLY DID IT!!!! congratulations guys on finally earning our split into Eclipse SH. but while this is great our work has just begun and there is no reason we cant bring up another squad split in the next month! 2) Recruiting: alright we all took a nice break from recruiting since we were at our cap but its time for us to step our game back up! We need to recruit again and get our numbers back up since we are now at 80 due to the split! 3) Training: obviously with recruiting comes training so we need to get going on orientations and officer training as well. I will be hosting training classes for anyone who doesn't know how or wants to perfect the way they do it. 4) Workshops:Education is huge now. With all these new members and open officer spots we need to host workshops to train people to be able to claim these spots. I will be rehosting all workshops but I expect all officers to host a workshop on their own ranks as well as Sergeant and Staff Sergeant classes to educate the newer members. 5) Gamenights: We still our doing great on gamenights but we lost a lot of the people who regularly held gamenights so Im looking for more people especially newer ones to step up and host some. First congragulations to KSI for getting up to 5800 members which is a huge deal figuring this is the biggest weve ever been and is a huge accomplishment for us so congrats KSI! Also AAP nominations are almost over if not over so I need everyone especially officers to post in that as fast as they can for those people you think deserve it!!! Next is Weekend warfare. This week it was Swat and we had two teams go hard and rep SH but we need to get more activity in this so the more the better!! 2) Recruiting:So we are currently at 81 members which is great but we are overgrowing the member to officer ratio. So for now please hold off on the recruiting. Its ok if someone really wants to join to get one or two but I dont want anyone going out of there way to recruit 3) Training/Orientating: This is what we really need to focus on for this week. Like I said we are overgrowing with recruits and little officers. So what we need to do is make sure all ew recruits-corporals are properly and thouroughly trained so theey can feel comfortable stepping up and taking these officer positions especially the sergeants since they are the only ones elgible to move up. 4) Workshops: To accomplish this training we need to host more workshops. We have already had a couple but we need to have at least two or three a week led by myself and especially you officers so if interested in hosting one on a specific topic please message me with the subject and date and time youd like to. 5) Gamenights: So weve been picking up on the gamenights lately but thats still not good enough. We should have one every night if possible to max out activity in the squad and boost the involvement of new members as well!! In the LEAD section, there is a topic that has a list of things that you need to think about when you're going to try and promote someone, and those of you looking to be promoted in KSI. This lets you know what the situation needs to be like for you to be promoted within the squad and division. Squad notes: Game nights, these need to be happening whenever possible! Did you know that every night can be game night?!?!? Take the initiative and invite people from the squad tag. I’ll be more than happy to repeat a message for you all on there as well! If you have events going on this week, let me know. I’ll send those out on the squad tag and get everyone informed. The more people that we have, the better! So, here’s the thing. I’m acting general for the squad until we end up promoting a new one. With that being said, I’ll be in charge of the operations within the squad for the time being. As well as other things. We need to ensure that people are playing with each other. You are in this gaming community for a reason, you wanted other people to play with, and to interact with the community. So, treat it as such. If you’re not playing with members, and you’re just sitting off by yourself all the time on Netflix, then you are basically fluff, and you are no different than the guy who is offline for 15 days. So, keep that in mind. If I see this, you will be gone, no questions asked. Think about it, you would be taking up room for someone who does want to be part of us, and be active with the squad. I will be hosting a SGTs workshop for everyone who is the rank of SGT or below, Monday at 8 pm eastern! It went well. Workshop started at 7:30, and lasted almost 2 hours. People asked questions, had stories to share. From Jess: “This is what I live to do in KSI. I was pumped up.†It was a full lobby. Every one of those Co-Founders is in the same spot, experiencing the same thing. In just mere months, those involved will be leading divisions and becoming Directors. Promotions: From SGT—Senior Director. Have them get on the forums and read their job description so they understand what will be asked or required of them for that job and beyond. Quiz System: The following is highly advised, but not required: There is a new quiz system on the Forums. It was purchased and added to the website. Testers don’t have to go anywhere but our Forums, where they should already be, and take the test. Tests are not up and operational just yet, but will be very soon. Tests will be administered for promotions to Lieutenant, Captain, and General. Tests will be similar to previous testing system and anyone can see the results, so Leaders can easily see what testers did. *It will be up very shortly. Announcement will be made when it’s up, but please prepare to utilize this system for promotions very shortly. 7’s Gamenight: It will be on Black Ops 2 tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Spread the word and participate on the stream at www.twitch.tv/ksilive. 2-year Anniversary: Saturday Sept. 28, there will be a relaxed and laid-back gamenight on Call of Duty, followed by Full House Poker. Also, forums awards will be given to those who show up on the forums and post in the thread. Market it as, “Board of Directors Gone Wild.†It’s a huge milestone and the Board will be playing with everyone and getting drunk. Next Co-Founder Workshop: Monday Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. EST will be the next Co-Founder workshop. Squad Notes: 1. Make sure that you all stay in uniform when you are playing with KSI members. I'm tired of seeing people have their armor colors changed and whatnot in lobbies. If this continues to be a problem, I will have no choice but to start reprimanding people for it. 2. If you are going to be in KSI, then we expect you to be active with us! As long as your playing Halo 4 with KSI members at least an hour a day, you have nothing to worry about! Officers, we expect more activity from you all. So get in there and play with other members, or I'll cut you. I'll cut you really hard. 3. We will be getting with members throughout the week to help with privacy settings. They need to be set specifically for our standards. Meaning that they need to have "Profile Sharing" on everyone, and "Friends List" set to Friends only. If you could get with myself or KSI Cole 7, we will help you out! 4. I will be hosting a Training/Recruiting workshop on Tuesday, September 17th at 8 pm eastern. I hope to see you guys there, as we will be going over how to recruit, the different types of recruiting, and how to train as well! 5. There will be several game nights hosted throughout the week, and they will go as follows:KSI CREEPER 12: Wednesday at 7:30 pm Eastern. KSI THE META: Thursday at 7:30 pm Eastern. KSI NOPURPOSE: Friday/Saturday at 6:30 pm Eastern I hope to see you all there, and it's a good way to make some new friends by the way! So, when you get into a game night, send a friend request to everyone that is in there from your squad! New weekend warfare site. Every officer needs to be signed up. If y'all questions let us know. We want to get 1K by next Wednesday. Make sure notes are getting sent all the way down the ranks. When getting new recruits we should be marketing our websites. (YouTube, weekend warfare, bracket system, etc.) GTA 5 just came out, activity might drop but if y'all keep in parties it'll keep them intertwined with the div. (Multiplayer releases OCT.1 along with BF4 beta.) Thread on the forums in the headhunter section to try out for 7's headhunter team. If your interested or your members are interested go to the topic called "hint of lime tryouts" Test site (for officer test)is being worked on and will be soon up and running. Point of the 7's game night. Is not for the 7's to play with other 7's or generals. It's for higher members to play with lower members to get to know new faces. It's been the same faces and the same people watching. The 7's game nights need to be sent out of squad tags, new WW ladder site, etc on squad tag or there not doing there job. We want to start swapping between halo and cod but we can't get enough people to participate in the halo. So we want to get the rep up. Make sure that people are learning what they need to do in their future positions before they get promoted. Squad Notes: Remember, we need to keep it going with the activity, meaning that you guys need to be going to at least 2 game nights a week if possible and remain active with the squad. I’m tired of seeing people not play Halo and just sit on Netflix or the dashboard all of the time. If you are not active with the squad, then you might as well not be in KSI. If you want to host a game night, now would be the time to try and schedule it. There are a lot of opportunities to do this, so please take note and advantage. There is a workshop after the meeting that Cole is hosting, it will cover things such as recruiting and officer duties, so if you are looking to move up, then please attend. I will begin the defluffing process of the squad as of tomorrow. All members who have not messaged Cole will be removed. No exceptions. Those of you who are wishing to become officers, take the initiative and try to help out with the squad! With recruiting, with game nights, and even being active with us! These things are required of officers, and they need to be done when you get to that position, so start helping out early! Uprising needs to have people stepping up, and sign up for the forums!!! KSI Has its own GTAV crew set up for the online that is coming on the 1st of the month! If you are going to be playing the game, please try to be active with other members on or off the game. It's a new ladder based site that is absolutely amazing if you want to find matches with others! There are many categories to choose from, and even a leaderboard to boot! So get on there and sign up! 3. New awards are up on the forums! There is also a donation award that you can get if you donate $15 or more to KSI! So, check them out! 4. Thank you for all who have posted on the website for the anniversary! We have been going strong for about two years and we are showing no signs of stopping. For all of you who have posted, you have received an award for doing so. Here's to another year!!! 5. Make sure that you are submitting clips to the productions channel when you get some awesome gameplays! They are always looking for submissions, so save those films and get them to those people! 6.
