iBOMBS 1
Instructor/Trainer Standards: -- Minimum of 3 trainers from each Squad -- Trainers must be able to PROPERLY conduct both Recruiting and Training sessions.  (this MUST be verified by the General of the trainer’s squad) -- Trainers must be on the Recruit tag -- Trainers are preferred to be between the rank of LT and CPT MAKE SURE THAT ONCE TRAINING IS COMPLETE, THE TRAINEE IS ADDED TO THE PROPER SQUAD TAG. POACHING FROM THE RECRUIT TAG WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISCIPLINARY ACTION!!! The following contains the guidelines for training new recruits. It is to be the foundation for training and follow-on guides will be posted at a later date for the training of PVts, CPLs, SGTs, LTs, CPTs and GENs. Start the training session by explaining who you are and what is about to occur. Ensure the member has 20 minutes or so to dedicate to the training session before beginning. 1) Review the recruits’ qualifications (age/maturity level) and ensure that the standards were followed during the recruitment process. If the recruit is underage, find out who gave the age waiver for them to join. 2) Review the Code of Conduct with the recruit and answer any questions that they may have regarding the CoC. 3) Recite the rank structure: RCT,PVT,CPL,SGT,LT,CPT,Gen,COFO,Founder,Co-Div,Div-Leader,Director,Senior-Director. Explain the basic duties of the ranks RCT-CoFo (Details of what must be done to attain these ranks-timeline/training and any requirements) 4) Explain the importance of KSI tag prefix. Ensure the recruit knows that it is a requirement for higher ranks due to the fact that if a person wants to lead in KSI then they should be proud enough of the community to show their affiliation no matter what they are doing on XBL. 5) Explain to the recruit that they must follow the chain of command and bring any issue to their next highest member (SGTs and Below go to LTs, LTs go to CPTs, CPTs go to the GEN and so forth.) Explain the importance of all issues being handled at the lowest level possible, but if a leader is unable to resolve the issue, then it will be taken to the next higher level. 6) Explain the importance of Squad Meetings (we have them for accurate and complete dissemination of: information, news, upcoming events, and the opportunity for members to bring up issues/ideas) 7) Explain the purpose of the squad tag (offers a complete list of squad members so that members can see who else in the squad is online without having to add all 50 or more members. By going to the friends list of the squad tag, members can invite others that are online and still save space on the members’ friends list.) Explain as well that any messages sent FROM the squad tag should be held as gospel and followed as would any command from the squad’s general. 8) Explain the importance of using the forums - www.ksiforums.org  (the Forums are a great way to converse with other members and maintain a constant flow of information throughout the community as well as the many resources and aid available on the forums.) Once the “8†sections of Recruit training are complete, ensure that the new Private’s motto reflects the promotion to Private: from “KSI Demise DL RCT†to “KSI Demise DL PVT†and so on for each squad. Ensure that the PVT’s bio has both: 1) who recruited the member, including date of recruitment and 2) name of the trainer. Example: “Recruited by: KSI Shaolin 7 on 10/16/2011. Trained by: KSIxAPOCALYPSE7†*** “TRAINED BY†IS ADDED ONLY AFTER ALL TRAINING IS FINISHED*** If the member’s Motto and Bio are not correctly done, then the member will be removed from the roster and the squad will lose credit for the recruitment. Once all training completed, the trainer needs to post on the forums, in the appropriate squad thread, “training for *Member Name* completedâ€. ENSURE ALL TRAINERS AND RECRUITERS ARE CONDUCTING OPERATIONS PROPERLY OR ELSE THE OVERALL SQUAD WILL SUFFER. »KSI Mr N@TIV3«
Florence 33
Bombz, what do you do about the occaisional privacy settings issues. Sometimes I've found people misunderstand that only their friends list is supposed to be set to private and set everything to private, this is a rather easy mistake to make imo so I hope some leeway can be given there. I was also under the impression that CoC was supposed to be covered in Recruiting - I usually ask the new RCT if he had it read to him and if he had any questions regarding it - should I change that approach? Finally, another privacy setting issue. Sometimes members are on a family account and cannot update their bio without the master password, what do we do if we encounter this situation? Better to ask the question and get the answer than assume the answer and screw it all up is the way I look at it Thanks a ton.
 Awards

KSI Alpha Dog 1
This will be a guide to help anyone in the recruiting process: step 1. Before you start recruiting and telling the recruit our age limit make sure you ask there age if it take more than 5 to 10 seconds for them to answer 90 percent of the time they are under age. step 2. Once you found out there age you will ask them to go to the xbox home dashboard and to push there right bumper all the way to there settings. step 3. Once they are there ask them to click privacy and to change their setting it shoud be a list of options but there profile sharing should be open to everyone and there friendlist should be set to friends only. step 4. Once that is set up tell them to go to edit there profile an go to there motto an it should say KSI WARLORDS RP RCT if you are in a different squad it should say KSI your squad name RP RCT on it. step 5. I recommend not to add them as a friend until you have double checked your recruits privacy settings first. step 6. There bio has to say whoever recruited them example Recruited by KSI whatever your name is and that date you recrutied them into KSI. step 7. Be sure after you done those steps you tell them to add the recruit tag KSI RP Recruit. be sure to go over with them about our meetings/gamenights. Make sure you read our code of conduct off to them and make sure they fully understand it. Be sure to break it down a little more of what a squad and a division is. Florence 33
This is just a heads up for all us former DL guys. Because RP keeps an active Recruit Tag, please DO NOT have RCTs send the Squad Tag a friend request, That should be done only at the end of their training when they are officially PVTs otherwise I cannot keep the G14 and Squad Tag matched. Florence 33
Tonight @ 9EST Warlords will be having Squad game night and we'd love to see some of our fellow RPers there as well! Officers pass it on to your members that any of them is welcome as long as they understand that we keep it fun and I'm not going to tolerate behavior that spoils that fun, which I think is fairly easy to understand Shadiest this means you. Not the being a jerk part. The showing up part.
 Awards
