If you come up with an idea that could better squads, better the division, or even better members personally. We are already recognizing members for work but it isn't making other members want to try harder. Recognition is not that important to most members anymore. Reeses 9 Posted November 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2012 Yes it is fine but when the only people being involved period is a couple officers and 8 or so members in a squad. That isn't good I want to get everyone involved and I can't make it happen verbally, therefore I have to make it happen with action. Yes, I shouldn't try to control them and what they do online so I can promote a fun enviroment but if I just let them sit there and let their officers recruit and do stuff beneficial to their squad there is ZERO fun due to the fact that the squad they are in would have NO stability. A good squad is what everyone wants but you can only have a good squad if everyone in that squad works towards a common goal. I was brought an idea by KSI Reignmaker so I won't take all credit, but Reignmaker stated the best way he is ever seen to get members in a squad recruiting is when that squad gets a recruit GAME with them TALK to them LITERALLY do things with them online. If you do this more than likely they will stay in KSI and they will act the same way to their recruits it will make picking officers easier, it will cause numbers to go up, and activity will be a million times better Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Reeses 9 Posted November 16, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 The idea I had a while back is complicated but if done right could lead to future successful outcomes. All General's and Captains maintain current duties, Captains work with the organization and the things that are done behind the scenes of their squad along with the General. Lieutinents have the same duties of assisting their Captains and General's, but at the same time they are now given their own segiment of the squad to work with. You know, divide and conquer. You divide the squad's members up to 1 to 4 groups depending on the number of Lieutinents, preferably 2+ groups though. This will make sure the Lieutinent continues to stay active and the know what to do, as well as it will be easier to maintain a balance squad because the officers and Generals aren't running forgetting members. The Captains train the Lieutinents to make sure the Lieutinents are able to face in conflict in front of them. The Lieutinents take members from their segiment of the squad to a Captain if the Lieutinents feel that member is officer material and needs to be trained. The Generals watch the squad closely making sure nothing is going wrong, always playing games with his/her squad members, and all squad thoughts are brought to him/her. For a member to get promoted from a staff sergeant they MUST know a Lietinents duties. A quote my General from Void, KSI Zohan (Forums Account name Tony Stark), told me has helped me prosper as an officer. I believe it could help others as well. Every squad works towards complete success. Every squad will be judged based on growth and involvement with the KSI community. I would like to say for all those hard workers in KSI. A good squad needs someone willing to go above and beyond for KSI, but a great squad needs everyone or close to everyone to go above and beyond. If you want the recognition that this award provides, work as a team and not individually. That way you will get a lot more done and succeed in a lot more areas. Pikachu 3 Posted December 13, 2012 Report Share Posted December 13, 2012 Alright I have an idea for the welcoming comity When a sgt or whoever even general recruits someone they send out a message to all their friends in the division Than an officer takes the time to talk to the recruit give them the meaning of being in KSI and do all the things that a lower ranking member can not (orientating, Training etc) Next is when I general introduces themselves and approves of them being in the squad than going on the squad tag and sending out a message to all the members on the tag telling them the gamer tag of the recruit and encouraging them to game with them, talk and have some fun 'course of a general recruits them they can skip the first two steps and just do everything his/her self.
