Head of Productions:

Description/Duties: The Head of Productions is responsible for the supervision of the KSI Productions Team. He or she must decide what projects the team will work on and is responsible for making sure each piece of work is completed in a timely manner. He or she must look over each piece of work before it is released to the public for any possible mistakes or problems that may occur. This position is responsible for assigning projects throughout the team as well as keeping everyone active. If necessary the Head of Production may need to break up disputes between team members and make tough decisions that could arise.

Requirements: patience, technical and artistic media experience, organization skills, leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to meet time requirements.

Reports to: KSI Chief of Productions

Comments: There is only one (1) Head of Productions. You cannot apply for this position; it is rewarded to those who show commitment, dedication, and hard work throughout their stay here on the productions team.

Creative Director:

Description/Duties: The Creative Director is responsible for overseeing the creative aspects of a film. He or she will develop the vision/meaning behind a film and work on how the film should appear. He or she is responsible for turning a script into a sequence of shots and direct what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience. The Creative Director is responsible for deciding upon camera angles, special effects, and music choices along with the help of editors and film artists.

Requirements: patience, technical and artistic media experience, familiar with artistic value, and ability to set/meet time requirements.

Reports to: Head of Productions

Comments: There are only one (1) or two (2) Creative Directors on the team. This position is rewarded to those who show outstanding excellence in the art of production. You cannot apply for this position.

Film Artist:

Description/Duties: The Film Artist must work directly with the cast to obtain footage to be used in scenes that match the intentions of the Creative Director and the Head of Productions. Depending on the situation the Film Artist may have complete independence on what they record or they may be placed on a strict schedule/plan.

Requirements: patience, fair knowledge of filming techniques, ability to follow orders, and meet time requirements.

Reports to: Creative Director, Head of Productions

Comments: To apply for the position of a Film Artist you must have a high quality capture card. Your application may be denied if the quality does not reach expectations. There are usually two (2) to five (5) Film Artists on the team

Editors:

Description/Duties: The Editor must work with the Creative Director to assemble clips recorded by the Film Artists in order to get a final result for a video. They may be expected to be able to create introductions and add special effects.

Requirements: must have your own editing software to render files, availability, and ability to meet time requirements.

Reports to: Creative Director, Head of Productions

Comments: Editing takes up a lot of time and the team really depends on you for the work you do.
