KSI Forums is an integral part in connecting our vast community by acting as a great medium to exchange information, ideas, and simply facilitate conversation.  Our forums is part of what sets us apart from the hundreds of clans and dozens of communities. Many programs & projects are ran from the website such as productions, news, graphics, and marketing to name a few.

As with any medium of communication, there's a possibility for conflict when people from all blocks of life are given a means to communicate with each other.  With that being said, there are RULES to abide by in the forums.

http://www.ksiforums.org/index.php?app=tos

* In summary of the terms, the code of conduct still applies here.

* Do not harass, flame, or degrade someone on the forums.

* Be respectful of others and know that not everyone may share your view.

* Do not spam in sections other than the http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/8-spam-area/

Some members look up at the rank structure and think, wow, what would it be like to be a GEN, a CoFo, Founder etc.  The thought alone is captivating, however, the road to get here begins with the individual member at this very moment.  If they want to move further up the chain, have MORE access to different things in KSI, and guide/mentor others to better this gaming community they'll need to be active on the forums as part of the criteria.  This community is not perfect and is ever changing, constantly evolving over the past decade.  The information exchange that occurs here in the forums is invaluable to our progression.  We encourage members to be active here b/c their opinions, suggestions, solutions, and flat out activity is wanted here.  It's part of the driving force that makes this a great gaming community.

KSI Forums > Flagship > Forced Induction

Every division in KSI has its own forum's section.  The above link is ours. Division sections are created to serve as a means of communication between all those within the division while having access to other areas of the larger forum, mainly information or conversation.  This also allows for the rest of the community to get in contact with our division as well. The division forum section is comprised of a leave of absence thread, div chat thread, subsequent squad chat threads, and a standard guideline for recruiting training thread.  This varies between each division, however, the basics are standard across the board.

Below is a list of topics/threads within Forced Induction Division section along with a brief description of what each is about.

The Nitty Gritty

Alright, this is a lot of information to cover, but what do you absolutely need to know before you leave this party?

- Sgt/SSgt's are critical in setting the foundation of KSI and being role models to peers and subordinates.  How you carry yourself and what you do directly impacts the views of new members.

- Primary job of Sgt/SSgts is to pull in recruits regularly (per KSI standards, each squad is to bring in 5 recruits/week)

- Learn everything you can about KSI be knowledgeable of the community you're in to better mentor and recruit others

- Solve minor issues using basic problem solving skills.  If unable to mitigate an issue, bring it up to an officer.

- Report all security issues to chain of command

- HAVE FUN!!

CONGRATULATIONS!  THIS CONCLUDES THE SGT/SSGT TRAINING.  THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO ATTEND.  I AM MORE THAN CONFIDENT THAT YOU ALL WILL PROCEED TO BECOME THE FUTURE LEADERS OF KSI.  PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS AND PEERS TO ATTEND THE TRAINING AND SPREAD THE WORD!

ALL THINGS HEAD HUNTERS

http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/119-headhunter-league-and-team-challenges/'>http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/119-headhunter-league-and-team-challenges/

OFFICIAL RULES:

KSI’s HH teams are to be comprised of the best members that can and will work together as a team. These teams will represent their home squad or division in head to head challenges and clan battles. These rules can be subject to change.

A HH team will consist of 8 members ranked off their skill level 1-8. This will be based off 3 rounds, FFA game type, MLG or Tournement style rules. The ranks will be based on kill count and K/D spread. The ranks will be the deciding factor on what number the member is on a HH team. At all times the uniform for a HH member should be KSI Shadow DL (rank) then (HH ranking). Once a month the HH members will do another head to head against each other to determine if their numbers change. So with that you can be HH8 one month but be HH1 the next month depending upon how you place in the ranks for the monthly head to head. This is to ensure all members keep their skills sharp and are always trying to better themselves.

After the monthly head to head all members will send the moderator (general or captain) a message saying who they feel should be the Team Captain that month. You can NOT vote for yourself and this allows the team to choose who they feel would make a good candidate. If a choice is not made the moderator (general or captain) will then decide. If a HH member can not show up for the head to head they will be automatically placed at the bottom of the rankings.

Rankings within headhunters are important because lets say HH3 is challenged and loses that means he then shifts to HH4 and the person that won is now HH3. So in other words, everyone that is ranked below the new HH (including the HH that lost the challenge) must shift down one slot. That of course means HH8 would be removed from team until he can challenge his way back on. This is why the head to head done monthly is so important because the HH8 member not only needs to win all his challenges but must hope the others above him do as well to stay on the HH team.

A member of a squad is eligible to be on a HH team without having to have a KSI gamertag. The community does however encourage HH members to have KSI gamertags but it will not keep you from taking part in the team events. All team members are expected to uphold the CoC and show mutual respect during HH events. The newest edition to these rules will be our Generals finally having the opportunity to take part of being on a HH team. If a General chooses to be a part of a HH team he will not be allowed to be the moderator of the team, but he still will have the duty of making sure the team runs smoothly and assists in setting up battles. However, in order for the General to tryout for a HH team he must first get the approval from his Co-Founder or next highest ranked leader. If being on the HH team starts effecting how the General runs the squad then the Co-Founder or the next highest ranked leader has the ability to remove the General from the HH team.

The duties of a Team Captain and Moderator:

Team Captain - This member will be in charge of training and improving the team. They must have exceptional communication and gameplay skills. The Team Captain will also be in charge of setting up times and dates for team practices.

Moderator - This member will be designated by the General. The Moderator is to be chosen from one of the Captains in a squad, however in some cases the position can be passed down to a Lieutenant if needed. Moderators will be in charge of overseeing HH battles and the challenges a HH may receive for seat on the team. The Moderator ensures the Team Captain is doing his duties and also assists the General in finding battles for the team. A Moderator has the right to recommend the removal of a member from the team if that member breaks the CoC or becomes inactive.

Here is how challenges are to work:

It will be a 1v1, 3 rounds, FFA similar to the head to head HH members have to do (Halo 4 players will have a score limit set to 15 instead of 25). Now to make this fair a HH member can only be challenged 1 time a week and a non HH member can only challenge 1 HH a week. This to make sure that people don’t get challenge happy and keep things where you pick your competition wisely.

Here are the rules for the challenges:

1. The one presenting the challenge posts in the designated thread they want to challenge a HH member and puts the name of that member.

2. The HH member that is challenged, within a timely matter IE 3-4 days needs to setup a time with moderators to have the challenge.

3. The Moderator with the best connection will host the lobby. The HH member chooses the 3 maps that the 1v1 will take place on. MLG rules will be used and each game will have a 25 point (15 points for Halo 4) score limit.

4. Each player of the challenge will clarify they have read and understand how the matches are to go and the end result.

5. In the event of a tie the challenged HH retains his spot.

NOTE: If you are not serious about being active and dont have time to do practices with the HH's based off the HH Captain's need for them do NOT challenge. Remember this is a TEAM and with that if any issues come up and it’s in the best interest of the team to remove or not even allow a person to challenge then that is the General's call (If the General is on the HH team then the next highest ranked leader will deal with such issues.) GOOD LUCK everyone and remember this is a gaming community so let’s get to gaming!"

SET UP:

Head hunter teams generally consist of 4 primary members and roughly 4 others, allowing for a max of 8 people to allow for big team battle combat challenges from other teams.

People can challenge the lowest seat to gain entrance to HH, however they cannot challenge other seats till they are in the lowest seat.

General: Oversees the head hunter team in the squad.

Seat 1 = Top player of the team, and the CPT or running leader of the HH team.

Seat 2 =

Seat 3 =

Seat 4 =

Seat 5 =

Seat 6 =

Seat 7 =

Seat 8 = Lowest seated member, and the person who gets challenged to get onto the HH team.

1: If a HH team is established you may place a challenge to the lowest ranked seat *seat 8* of the HH team and you then take that position if you win the challenge.

* Winning your challenge over seat 8 means the current holder is removed from the HH team and you take their place.

* Failing in your challenge of the seat denies you from challenging that person again for a minimum of a week.

* Failing challenging the same person twice prevents you from challenging that person for their HH position again.

2: The challenge issued will always be a 1v1, with agreed terms.

*Cheating will permanently bar you from ever challenging a member again.

*paraissues are always going to be an issue so a member who can act as host may be required, paratroopingout of the matches will require a restart.

*in the event of a tie game with equal scores, a final game will then be held to decide the actual winner.

3: While the General oversees the HH team. They are not directly on it since nobody above the rank of CPT is allowed to be on the actual team. The "captain" or Seat 1 HH runs the HH team directly.

*They can converse with the HH captain (Seat 1) To have a member removed due to poor conduct, however that is a last resort.

4: Challenge ruling for moving up or down on the team.

* You can only challenge the Seat directly above you to progress up in Seat.

* The lower seat winning will result in the higher seat moving down in rank on the team, and the lower seat moving up. so their places are switched over.

Thought I'd share this here.  For your information only...words from the Queen herself:

I found an article that was largely related to promotions within big organizations, and as I read it.. it became clear that I have found myself giving these exact pieces of advice several times throughout my KSI career.

I have linked the article at the bottom but I will list the most relevant parts and edit them to make sense in KSI terms.  Please read this if you have aspirations of being a leader or gaining more responsibility in KSI.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To get a promotion, four things must be true:

  • The division or squad must have a position that it needs filled.
  • You must be capable of filling that position.
  • You must be the best person for that position.
  • You must express interest and willingness to take the responsibility with the new position.

  • You can’t get promoted into a position that doesn’t exist! - Don’t ask to be promoted to Captain if the squad doesn't need a new Captain right now. It immediately marks you as someone who wants a promotion for the sake of it vs. showing a true understanding of how you can help your squad/division. This is why you want to be a part of a dynamic, growing squad or division – those are the ones that generate new opportunities.

  • Promotions are not about longevity - Yes, there are time requirements in KSI in order to be eligible for a promotion, and yes, it usually helps, but don’t believe that “putting in your” time automatically makes you the best person for the open position. Or even that seniority rule is relevant to what your leaders are looking for when searching for the next candidate for a promotion.

  • It is not enough to just be “qualified” â€“ You need to be the most qualified among other candidates for the position. Think of your squad/division as a sports team. Being able to kick a 30-yard field goal, and having been on the team already may make you “qualified” to play varsity, but you’ll still lose out to the newer person who can kick 50-yarders and is training everyday. Be the guy on the team who can kick 50-yarders.

  • A promotion is a change of job description â€“ You don’t get a promotion then get to sit around pretty with a new title. You go into a new position, that adds new responsibility. You are still responsible for all prior duties, but being promoted adds more duties to that list.  Do you know what that position entails? Are you training and preparing to do it?

  • Promotions are about the future, not the past. They are about putting the best person into an open position starting *today*, not a reward for a job well done in the past. Don't be blinded by the fact that you were a large contributor at one time to your squad/division's success and expect that success will carry you through more promotions. EACH PROMOTION IS BASED ON HOW GOOD YOU WERE AT THE JOB YOU WERE DOING AT THAT TIME AND HOW YOU WILL BENEFIT THE ORGANIZATION IN THE FUTURE!

  • Focus on *being* good, not about *convincing people* that you are good â€“ Understand the job you want. Talk to the people who have it. Read, learn, and study. Look for projects that let you exercise those skills. By the time a position opens up, you should have firm evidence that you are ready, as your results will speak for themselves.

  • You don’t become a leader by being promoted. You get promoted because you are a leader – don’t sit in the corner lobbing pot shots at your “clueless” ranking leaders then act bitter when you don’t get invited to join them. Understand KSI's projects and priorities and work to make them successful. Approach problems the way your  leaders should. Lead from your current position. Don’t try to convince yourself that once you get promoted you’ll lead.

  • You must cross over into the dark side â€“ when you take a leadership promotion, you simply can’t do some of the things that you used to do. Your team of supporters changes. Be ready to handle intense situations. Make hard decisions. Get ready to constructively explain to other people why they are not getting promoted. Be ready to inspire, motivate, evaluate, plan, instruct, LEAD!!! Don’t want to do those things? Then why do you want a promotion?

  • Much of what is dismissed as “politics” is simply part of the job description - Being a good communicator. Being visible. Being helpful. Building relationships. You can’t be a leader without doing those things. Many folks make the mistake thinking people change upon promotion.  It's not that the person changes, it's that the responsibilities change. Being diplomatic comes with being a leader, and being in charge.  Are you capable of being diplomatic in situations?

  • Stop obsessing about “politics” -  Yes they exist and you need to be aware of them, but treat them as the exception, not the rule. Yes, you may lose a promotion because of what you perceive as “politics,” but if it keeps happening to you again and again, you are the problem, not politics. Does Tiger Woods stop practicing because 5% of his shots take unlucky bounces? No, he trains like hell for the other 95%.

  • If your organization is really so truly dysfunctional that you believe none of these apply, quit - Why do you want to work there anyway?  You can't be a part of something and be an effective leader, if you don't believe that what you are doing is going to make a difference.

*I take no credit for the above.. all information was copied from with minor changes from here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2013/01/23/what-are-the-real-reasons-some-people-get-promoted-and-others-dont/*

GAMERTAG APPROPRIATENESS:

Gamer tag appropriateness

If its against the Code of conduct...then dont put it as a gt when you make your KSI Tag

While you may think its funny initialy to feel special about having a obvious tag that you think is okay put some thaught into your GT.

Which would you rather be known as.....some amazing future leader or "hey its that stoner"

Start as you mean to continue becuase once you get a reputation from a poorly chosen name its hard to shift that.

-Validating an account-

sounds simple but is a surprisingly tricky thing for some people the trick is stay calm and go slowly and to run thru the following steps.

Step 1: When you make your forum account make a note of what email you used to register on the forums and that the email is correct and no errors in it which could lock your account as permanently validating.

Step 2: After you create your account you will need to validate it. There is a button in the top right of the forums for account validation.

*activate by clicking a validation link that will be sent in an email to the email address used to create the account*

Step 3: IF you cannot see the validation email in your inbox check that

A: you are on the right email address.

B: Check the spam folder on the email address and other emails just to be safe

C: If the Email from the forums to validate is not in any of them, use the resend validation email button located on the top right.

D: Do not make another account to see if it will work.

Step 4: Try to have somebody you know who has a working forums account to get a Admin made aware of the issue at hand so that an admin can look into the issue and hopefully resolve it and get you back on track for being able to use your forums account.

======

-Logging in issue-

This is a list of issues we find that occur fairly often and are fairly simple to correct or avoid entirely.

- Losing your login details

*Answer: Write them down somewhere safe and list any changes you make to these.

*Answer: An admin can change your password or login information in the case of your account being locked out but they will only do so if you answer security questions to confirm its your account.

- Members who used to use Facebook login system to log into the forums being unable to do so now

*Answer: You can still log in you just have to manually enter the same login information as you would to sign into facebook*

- Forums telling you your username or password is incorrect.

*Answer: Check your spelling on both the username and password to ensure no issue is being made from a badly placed typo.

Duplicate accounts <--- DON'T FKN DO IT!! DON'T ADVISE OTHERS TO DO IT! IF THEY DID IT, HELP THEM FIX IT!

Recently We're seeing alot of people setting up accounts or accessing them from their local friends houses which naturaly there is a system on the forums that flags details when forum accounts are used on the exact same computer or device.

When you login from the same computer as somebody who has used it to log into the forums you will get a auto private message informing you of such. This message is part of an automated system programed to exactly what is stated above. However what it cannot know is why multiple accounts are active from the same computer.

What we need to make sure people know is that when they get the duplicate account auto message

- Not to respond to it with agression or hostility.

- Not to think that its in their best intrest to send any Admin a pm arguing or giving abuse.

- Respond to the message explaining calmy why your account is on the same computer as somebody else's. You can even message this to one of the senior forum staff so it can be logged faster.

:) details will save alot of annoying arguments too...

so if you get into issues like these......giving the reasons why is a hell of alot faster and saves us all alot of time.

KSI

IDEALS AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION

The Ideals we should strive for: TCSU

Trust. Communication. Support. Understanding.

The Breakdown

[spoiler[

No 1 person should be doing everything, we are a team so work as one to spread and balance the load. Otherwise it leads to overworking and stress and the fostering of grudges between people.

While we cant expect us all to get along 100% of the time we need to trust and communicate with each other to settle issues in private and out of the sight of other people. If we offend each other, do the adult thing pull the person into a chat or talk to them about it to see what was taken offense to by them.

If a team member is clearly frustrated take the time to try and find out the underlying issue that is causing them to be frustrated and remember some people are not exactly forthcoming about issues because they don't want to open up about something that is bugging them.

Sometimes we can cross the line with somebody we talk to and not even notice how upsetting it can be. "what you see as a joke....might not be seen that way by another"

Example of a situation Between staff

You see 2 or more staff members arguing about how something should be done one way and not another, yet the other staff member does not agree and it has led to a argument that is escalating.

Steps to resolving conflict:

  • Observe the argument to discern what the argument is about and if you are able to resolve it or if you need support to do so.
  • Separate the staff and tell them to go take a few moments to calm down before proceeding.
  • Talk to the staff separately to hear both sides of the issue without interruption.
  • Do not take sides, you are there to help resolve the issue and get to the bottom of its underlying cause.
  • Talk to the staff members together and remind them to hear each other out and talk calmly about the issue.
  • Help them to reach an agreement that helps both of them understand they should not have been arguing but rather putting their methods together to form a far better method.
  • Remind them that working together is better than working against and that the issue is done and dealt with and doesn't need to be brought up again.

Gameplay related:

Target finder users:

When you see somebody on your team being curtious enough to use the target finder to avoid team killing.....why not keep the "You're a Poop gamer because you used the target finder" style comments to yourself.....because honestly would you let yourself be recruited by somebody who just sat there Poop talking them over a Sight system on a gun?

Quick scopers:

Yes its annoying....yes there are some people who do it far to much.....but hell if they can drop Positive games and good scores while butt running with a bolt actions sniper....WHO CARES....respect the fact they just destroyed people with it.

Team Kills:

Chill accidents happen....man the Huck up already....if you're stupid enough to run into the middle of a Poop storm or infront of the guy clearly shooting......wtf you think would happen. Dont be the ass who decides to team kill somebody back on the pretence of he shot me so now im going to make sure they get kicked.

Team killing to steal:

Killing your team mate to steal whatever bonus item or drops they have spent their time earning.....is never ever going to be cool...it pisses your team off and irritates the hell out of the whole lobby and WILL get your ass shot.

Being the Lobby Troll:

KSI has a very public thing about joining sessions in progress. The reason its frowned upon is that there are some arrogant gamers in KSI who know they can beat alot of the members without much effort....these are lobby trolls. The other reason is...that when a lobby starts being flooded with KSI members on both teams it looks like those in the lobbies are boosters and cheats. (that means that token person who goes -20 or more every game will make it look more and more like a boosters lobby)

Spawn flipping + trapping

Now we all know this happens alot....there are alot of people who cant play without running end to end on maps and flipping spawns. There are also alot of players who are not able to play the spawn rush style of gameplay. Always be aware that some members are to polite to say anything about it and others will flat out tell you to stop pushing the spawns so hard. (spawn rushing is fairly useless outside of games you cant trap on anyway lol.)

Game types:

Before starting a game on Either Halo or any of the COD games...you should check what game types people would like to play. Some people like classic TDM style and others Love Objective gametypes like Domination or SND (checking will save you one hell of a migrain as the lobby host trust me...)

Rage quiting:

This is something that is seen more in COD than halo for the most part but occures in all Shooter type games with multiplayer in them. Even if you are doing really really badly.....take a deep breath and keep going. Ditching out on your entire team will mean they will be pressed on even more and probably be killed more with less people to help cover. Dont leave those you play with behind...unless its a group choice to leave a lobby. (if you are a rage player, try muting your mic if you feel you wont be able to remain civil in the game or lobby)

Final helpfull bit of advice.

When you game dont go out looking to be a Troll or Poop talker that tells everybody they are stoned....it just serves to make KSI look bad and there are people with cap cards who simply love putting name and shame vids up on youtube.

Recruiting made Simple?

Obviously getting a interested person is the best thing in a recruit, but how do we go about doing that?

There are a few ways to recruit, one way is to play with people and see if anyone in the rooms are talking and after a few games you try to talk to them about joining and then see what happens.

Basic workshop method.

The other way is to play a few games until your recently played with list is filled up and then you send out a Single mass message to them that sounds like this:

" Hi I am recruiting for KSI Global and we re looking for members that are active, If you are interested In joining then please send me back a message for more information "

This should get you about 10 responses from the message you just sent out.

When they start to respond, Ask THEM their Age, so they can answer honestly and without lying to say that they are above the age of 15.

Out of those 10 responses 2 or 3 will be aged 15 and older, those are the ones you can recruit.

Now just because you got a message from someone doesn't mean they are automatically in, it just means they can be spoken to.

The great thing is, is that you asked them to send you a message back if they wanted more information not if they wanted to join. Now you can choose who you feel is suitable to join KSI and who is not.

Maybe you can even take them into a party and play with them all a few rounds and see who would be annoying to play with and who likes to trash talk and all the other less liked attributes we don't want in KSI.

Part 2:

But the other thing you can do is get a few of them in a room and explain a little about what we do.

Now that you got the people you want to recruit you go through the recruit processing one at a time.

If your feeling nice, give a recruit over to another person if you feel like you have to many to do and you don't want to do it all alone or don't want to make them wait.

Now the process is as follows:

1> Read and explain the Code of Conduct and ask if they have any questions and if they agree to it.

2> Get them to change their Motto to KSI (SQUAD NAME) (DIV NAME) RCT, their bio should read Recruited by (your name) on (the date).

3> Explain that there are meetings that are held for the squad and what day and time they are, along with the name of the general of the squad and the leaders in the division as well as asking them to show respect to any and all leaders they meet in KSI.

4> Then the final step is to add them to the recruit tag and then your job is done, obviously if you bothered to recruit this person into your squad then maybe you might want to add them as a friend and continue to play with them so they feel like KSI is the place for them to be

5> Also making sure they understand that their friends list needs to be set to friends only to help keep themselves protected

======

Recruiting related information: Key points

1: BE IN GAME CHAT.

2: BE IN PUBLIC LOBBY GAMES AND NOT CUSTOM GAMES.

3 Make sure they understand the KSI code of conduct. http://www.ksiforums...ing-and-duties/

4: Make sure they are aware that we do not aim to make issues with other gaming communities, http://www.ksiglobal...-of-neutrality/

5: Make sure you Briefly explain the rank structure. http://www.ksiglobal...rank-structure/

6: Make sure their motto is correct, and that they set their Motto and Bio visible and that their friends list MUST be on Friends only. Explain this to them that's part of their uniform as a ksi member and must be shown.

7: Make sure you have them put into their bio, who recruited them, when they were recruited (the date)

8: Make sure they Actually add the squad tag (if they don't add it, then you just wasted your time)

9: Make sure you actually stay in contact with them and help them aspire to be better and introduce them to other members of the squads.

SERGEANT WORKSHOP

SGT, your jobs are simple, have fun and while your doing it Bring people along for the ride.

Get people playing in games together and keep the recruits, privates and corporals interested in being apart of KSI.

Playing with members is a very important part of being in KSI but so is:

1. Keeping members in KSI and active.

2. Making sure everyone is having fun playing the games we love to play.

Now doing this isn't the only thing you are going to be asked to do.

The other tasks of a SGT are to recruit and also make sure the lower ranks are recruiting correctly and have been taught how to do so.

Step one:

Obviously getting a interested person is the best thing in a recruit, but how do we do that?

There are a few ways to recruit, one way is to play with people and see if anyone in the rooms are talking and after a few games you try to talk to them about joining and then see what happens.

4> Then the final step is to add them to the recruit tag and then your job is done, obviously if you bothered to recruit this person into your squad then maybe you might want to add them as a friend and continue to play with them so they feel like KSI is the place for them to be.

====================

Another thing all SGTS should do is come to all planned events that the squad issues, this means all meetings you need to be apart of and game nights.

I know you cant make every last one but if your squad has 3 game nights a week you should be attend at least 1 if not 2 of those.

Not only should you be part of the meetings and game nights but you should also promote them, remind people subtly as your playing with them or in parties with them.

Game nights can make or break your squads activity and the overall fun in the squad.

Those are basically the things a SGT are asked to do and Ill go over them quickly again, Play with members, come to meetings and game nights and have fun while doing so and making sure people are having fun as well, recruiting members and making sure people below you know how to recruit as well and also making sure that new people are getting introduced around so they stay members in KSI and plant roots in their squad so they are less likely to leave.

SGT workshop

SGT: your jobs are simple, have fun and while your doing it Bring people along for the ride. Get people playing in games together and keep the recruits, privates and corporals interested in being apart of KSI.

Playing with members is a very important part of 1. Keeping members in KSI and 2. Making sure everyone is having fun playing the games we love to play. Now doing this isn't the only thing your asked to do.

The other tasks of a SGT are to recruit and also make sure the lower ranks are recruiting correctly

Now I am sure you know how to recruit but let me just go over all the parts of it so we can refresh.

Step one is obviously getting a interested person, how do we do that? There are a few ways to recruit, one way is to play with people and see if anyone in the rooms re talking and after a few games you try to talk to them about joining and then see what happens.

The other way is to play a few games until your recently played with list is filled up and then you send out a mass message to them that sounds like this, please write this down because this message has worked for me a lot:

" Hi I am recruiting for KSI Global and we re looking for members that are active and atleast 16 years of age or older. If you are interested In joining then please send me back a message for more information."

This should get you about 10 responses out of about 50 messages ou just sent out. Out of those 10, 3 will be 15 or younger and te rest will be ok to talk to.

Now just because you got a message from someone doesn't mean they are automatically in, it just means they can be spoken to. The great thing is, is that you asked them to send you a message back if they wanted more information not if they wanted to join. Now you an choose who you like and who you don't like.

Maybe you can even take them into a party and play with them all a few rounds and see who you don't want cause they are annoying to play with.

Now the process is as follows, get them to change their Motto to KSI (SQUAD NAME) (DIV NAME) RCT, their bio should read Recruited by (your name) on (the date).

Then the final step is to add them to the recruit tag and then your job is done, obviously if you bothered to recruit this person into your squad then maybe you might want to add them as a friend and continue to play with them so they feel like KSI is the place for them to be.

Another thing all SGTS should do is come to all planned events that the squad issues, this means all meetings you need to be apart of and game nights.

I know you cant make every last one but if your squad has 3 game nights a week you should be at at least 1 if not 2 of those.

Not only should you be apart of the meetings and game nights but you should also promote them, remind people subtly as your playing with them or in parties with them.

Game nights can make or break your squads.
