KSI StahlMan 11
Requirements for Becoming a Sergeant: Acquiring a KSI Gamer Tag Duties That Are Required for Successful Sergeant Sergeants should know the rank Structure up through Senior Director, and who holds each position (explain to your members who you are training who holds those positions). Sergeants are expected to assist with all squad activities and squad meetings. Sergeants are to ensure all members are staying in uniform(clan tag, motto, and bio), and present themselves as role models for other members within the squad. Comments to Help Make a Successful SGT: The sergeant position is one where you will be expected to be proactive by being assertive and utilizing initiative. Use this time to gather all knowledge, and partake in training involving recruiting, squad management, KSI standard operating guidelines, and procedures. Reports to: Lieutenants, and any other higher rank. (Following Rank Structure) Training How to Recruit: Before You Start The Recruit Training: Make sure the members you are training are writing down the recruitment process. Let them know that there will be a small quiz/questionnaire at the end of the training. This quiz is just to check their knowledge to be sure they understand how to recruit properly. Be sure to follow these steps when training exactly, that way all members are being trained the same way. To Start off Recruiting Training: Before you begin the recruiting process, go through these 2 short steps by yourself. While doing so, get to know the potential recruit. Make sure they do not rage in lobbies, they don’t talk trash to other people on xbox, and that they are mature enough to join into KSI. Step 1 Check your potential recruit’s friends list for anything that looks suspicious. Explain the different clans that are blacklisted and why, J2H, Bills KSI, FYC, HFA, KOS, LOD, SOD. As well as security risk, former members of KSI that have been deemed a security risk by your 7s, IR, and MEA and any others that we have had problems with in the past. Explain the difference between Security risks, DNH and Blacklist. Explain how to get on Access Denieds to look up banned clans/gamer tags. Go to HYPERLINK "http://www.ksig14cla...classified.org. Step 2 Check your potential recruits gamerscore to see if it is low (400-500 is okay). If the recruit’s gamer score is low, ask them why it is so low. (Explain how some people lose their accounts for modding etc... or that they may not have many games etc...) If the recruit has lost their account due to modding or tampering with their xbox, (Code of Conduct in motto and bio). If a recruit is new to their Xbox or they may only play one game, these are examples of satisfactory excuses. Whether or not your recruit has an acceptable reason for a low gamer score, you are still required to send a message to the recruit tag holders or the recruit tag itself. HD’s recruit tag is KSI Recruit HD Recruiting Process: Spoiler ]Get your recruit into a separate party so that you can do this 1 on 1. This way no one is distracting you from recruiting them and they will be able to here you. Also, try to get them to stop playing the game and listen. Explain to them that we are KSI Global. (There are other KSIs', for example: KSI United, Bills KSI) We are the original KSI. DISCLAIMER: If your recruit seems overly excited to be in "KSI" or if they came to you to be recruited instead of you coming to them, you may want to watch them carefully because there is a chance that they may be a Bills KSI member or another gaming community who wants to poach our members to come to their clan or community. Step 1 Ask your recruit’s age. (If you are questionable about their age, ask them what their DOB (Date of Birth) is. This step needs to be confirmed long before you get to the "Recruiting Process". You must be 15+ to be accepted into "KSI". Your Division or squad may have a different age limit for recruits!!! Harmonic Destruction and Evil Ties requires that you are at least 17. (You can be accepted into HD and ET at 16 with approval of your General.) Step 2 In this step, you are introducing your recruit into "KSI". You are explaining in more detail than you may have already at this point. Give your recruit information about KSI and what it has to offer. Here are some examples KSI" stands for (Knowledge, Strength, Integrity) Knowledge- The information that we as leader’s provide our members in order for them to grow in our gaming community Strength- Our strength is in our numbers, KSI is one of the biggest gaming communities on xbox and we have nearly 6,000 members. Also our strength is how organized we are, how we set up tournaments and teams for our members so that there is always something going on and everyone has fun Integrity-Is the loyalty that we have to each other as a gaming community, and how our leaders sacrifice their time so that the gaming community succeeds and every member is of value Headhunter teams, being the competition that “KSI†has to offer. (This attracts many players) (As well as tournaments and game nights) Rank Structure is a BIGGIE! Go through the ranks and their duties all the way up to a General. These can be found on the forums ("www.ksiforums.org") by hovering over the "KSI Info" tab, then selecting "Rank Structure", when you scroll down you will find "Ranks and Their Duties". By clicking "show" below the title and scrolling down you can find the Ranks. (RCT, PVT, CPL, SGT, SSGT, LT, CPT, GEN) These are the ranks that need to be explained to the recruits. When training your SGTs/Officers, be sure to give a basic example of every rank up to General for recruit training (all SGTs however should know all the way up to Senior Director, so explain it to them). We have a website, if the recruit does end up joining; encourage them to make an account on it. HYPERLINK "http://www.ksiforums....ksiforums.org If your recruit does end up joining show them how to make their account, walk them through it. Step 3 Have your recruit go to their xbox home/xbox dashboard Tell them to go all the way to the right on the tabs to Settings Once at settings, go to Privacy (the one that has a symbol of a lock) Once they have clicked Privacy, they click change settings After clicking Change Settings, go to custom and click it so its bulleted Once doing so, click customize Tell them to go to profile sharing and click on everyone Tell them then to go to profile viewing and click on everyone Tell them finally to go to friends list and click everyone (this well be changed to friends only once trained) After that tell them to click “B†and then go to Save and Exit Explain to the recruit the reasons for you asking them to change their information. We change the profile viewing and profile sharing to everyone so that the recruit can see who is in KSI and so that others can see that the recruit is in KSI and the member can represent KSI proudly We change the friends list to everyone so that the recruit tag can view their friends to do a background check and make sure it’s safe to join KSI Step 4 Read your recruit the Code of Conduct, how to get to the COC is go to HYPERLINK "http://www.ksiforums...Code of Conduct Read them the 10 rules while going into detail about each rule, make sure they agree and understand the COC Step 5 Tell your recruit to click their xbox button(the one in the middle with an X) Then they got to Settings, Profile, Edit Profile Then they go down to their motto, if your recruit has anything in their motto, they must delete all info The will put in their motto in all caps KSI “Squad†“Division†RCT Example for Blackout HD, motto will read KSI BLACKOUT HD RCT Example for Torment ET, motto will read KSI TORMENT ET RCT Once they have finished with their motto your recruit will click Done Step 6 Once your recruit has finished their motto, they need to go down to their bio If they have info in their bio and it is appropriate, they can keep their info Underneath their bio info or if they didn’t have anything they need to put -recruited by “your xbox live gamertag†and then the current date Example: recruited by KSI Gwood 77 on 6/9/13 Example: recruited by KSI HUCKLBERRY7 on 6/9/13 Once your recruit has done this they go to Done Step 7 Once your recruit has done the above steps, have them load up COD: Black Ops 2. Your recruit will then change their clan tag to (Your squads initial)RCT) Example: A Blackout recruit’s clan tag will read "BRCT". Example: A Torment recruit’s clan tag will read “TRCT†Step 8 Have them add the Recruit Tag for your Division. Example: The Recruit Tag for "HD" is: KSI RECRUIT HD (Make sure that they have a pending friend request). Example: The Recruit Tag for “ET†is KSI ET Recruit2 (Make sure that they have a pending friend request). Step 9 THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP!!! INTRODUCE YOUR RECRUIT TO YOUR SQUAD AND OTHER "KSI" MEMBERS!!! Introducing your recruit gets your recruit known and it lets them get to know some of our members. This is very important for your squad, your recruit, and yourself. Step 10 At the end of a Sergeant training, make sure to ask if the members you are training have any questions Once all questions have been answered, ask questions about the meeting. Be sure to try to get around to every member that is in your lobby Example questions are below, feel free to ask more. Who is in each leadership position for your Division? Is the highest rank you need to inform a new recruit of? What does your recruit need to add in their bio? What does your recruit need to add in their motto? What is the three things that needs to be changed in the privacy settings? How do you get to the privacy settings? What is your divisions recruit tag name? This ensures that your members that you are training are paying attention to the meeting as well as make sure members didn’t miss anything
