Not to confuse anyone, but below is something I wrote up for FI ages ago and worked out well:
************************************************************************************************************************************************************

All Sortza Training
ALL ranks Should Know The Absolute basics

- That to be the rank of SGT and higher you MUST have a KSI tag.
- KSI's Minimum on Age of membership is: 15+ Years
- The web address for the Forums: www.ksiforums.org
- Their Division Section on the forums.
- What the Name of their Division is and who is Running it.
- Be able to recite the Rank structure from Recruit to Senior Director
- Read-/-Understand and explain the Code of Conduct if asked.
- Understand that YOUR conduct is what you are responsible for.
- KSI asks for 5 Recruits Per Squad Each week as a Minimum
- That Activity is Key to maintaining active squads and Divisions.
- That Directors handle Division transfers.
- That Directors are the Only Rank in KSI that Makes Squad Tags and issues them Directly to the General

http://www.ksiforums..._structure.html
Step Three: MOST IMPORTANT! Join a xbox live party with other KSI members and ask your new recruit to go to the dashboard to change their privacy setting.
Step Four: Walk your new recruit through changing their Motto, Bio, and
Clan tag (Getting in uniform). Below I have provided the information and format needed in their bio and motto. Tell your new recruit that the information needs to be ALL CAPITAL LETTERS

Motto: KSI (FULL SQUAD NAME) (DIVISION ABBREVIATION) (RANK ABBREVIATION)

Example: KSI KRONOS DL RCT

Bio: RECRUITED BY KSI (YOUR NAME EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS) (THE CURRENT DATE) Bio Example: RECRUITED BY KSI IRONCOWBOY MAR.30.2012

Clan tag format: (FIRST LETTER OF SQUAD)(RANK ABBREVIATION)

Clan tag Example: DRCT (This example is for a DEMIZE RECRUIT) Recruit rank is the first position for newly recruited members of div>KSI. These members must be encouraged to sign up for KSIGlobal.org and KSIForums.org. This also would be a good time to highlight the benefits of registering on the forums.

Step Five: (Edit: Sorry for the misinformation, the recruit tag is per division not squad) Tell your new recruit to add the divisions recruit. The DARK LEGIONS division recruit tag is KSI DL RECRUIT.
Tip: During this process, try to make conversation with them, ask them where they are from, ask them what game types they like to play and try to explain some of the benefits of being in KSI. Some things we do are clan battles, tournaments, game nights (custom games) and meetings.
Meetings sure may not sound like fun, but they usually only last about ~30 minutes and we do a game night after them. Explain to them that because we are such a large gaming community that follows a military rank structure, these meetings are necessary for us to keep organized.

KSI Forum Usage

http://www.ksiforums.org
KSI Forums is an integral part in connecting our vast community by acting as a great medium to exchange information, ideas, and simply facilitate conversation. Our forums is part of what sets us apart from the hundreds of clans and dozens of communities. Many programs & projects are ran from the website such as productions, news, graphics, and marketing to name a few.

As with any medium of communication, there's a possibility for conflict when people from all blocks of life are given a means to communicate with each other. With that being said, there are RULES to abide by in the forums.

http://www.ksiforums.org/index.php?app=tos

* In summary of the terms, the code of conduct still applies here.
* Do not harass, flame, or degrade someone on the forums.
* Be respectful of others and know that not everyone may share your view.
* Do not spam in sections other than the http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/8-spam-area/
Some members look up at the rank structure and think, wow, what would it be like to be a GEN, a CoFo, Founder etc. The thought alone is captivating, however, the road to get here begins with the individual member at this very moment. If they want to move further up the chain, have MORE access to different things in KSI, and guide/mentor others to better this gaming community they'll need to be active on the forums as part of the criteria. This community is not perfect and is ever changing, constantly evolving over the past decade. The information exchange that occurs here in the forums is invaluable to our progression. We encourage members to be active here b/c their opinions, suggestions, solutions, and flat out activity is wanted here. It's part of the driving force that makes this a great gaming community.

FI Forum Section

http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/166-forced-induction/
KSI Forums > Flagship > Forced Induction

Every division in KSI has its own forum's section. The above link is ours. Division sections are created to serve as a means of communication between all those within the division while having access to other areas of the larger forum, mainly information or conversation. This also allows for the rest of the community to get in contact with our division as well. The division forum section is comprised of a leave of absence thread, div chat thread, subsequent squad chat threads, and a standard guideline for recruiting training thread. This varies between each division, however, the basics are standard across the board.

Below is a list of topics/threads within Forced Induction Division section along with a brief description of what each is about.

The Nitty Gritty

Alright, this is a lot of information to cover, but what do you absolutely need to know before you leave this party?

- Sgt/SSgt's are critical in setting the foundation of KSI and being role models to peers and subordinates. How you carry yourself and what you do directly impacts the views of new members.
- Primary job of Sgt/SSgts is to pull in recruits regularly (per KSI standards, each squad is to bring in 5 recruits/week)
- Learn everything you can about KSI be knowledgeable of the community you're in to better mentor and recruit others
- Solve minor issues using basic problem solving skills. If unable to mitigate an issue, bring it up to an officer.
- Report all security issues to chain of command
- HAVE FUN!!

CONGRATULATIONS! THIS CONCLUDES THE SGT/SSGT TRAINING. THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING THE TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO ATTEND. I AM MORE THAN CONFIDENT THAT YOU ALL WILL PROCEED TO BECOME THE FUTURE LEADERS OF KSI. PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR FRIENDS AND PEERS TO ATTEND THE TRAINING AND SPREAD THE WORD!

SGT Training:

Intro:

We all have our strengths and weaknesses… going down this list we will introduce ourselves and name one thing we think that we are good at, and one thing we could improve.

(At this point you should talk about yourself and your role in KSI. Talk about your strength and where you need to improve)

KSI QueenJess 7 wrote this about herself as an example
One thing I’m good at, is motivating people and helping them remain positive in otherwise tense situations. One thing I could approve on, is handling confrontation. I tend to get nervous and a little anxious when I know a confrontation in coming.

KSI: First thing that all members need to know, is what KSI Stands for:

K= Knowledge
(of the expectations of you as a Member of KSI, and how we operate as a community in order to provide structure for our members.)

S=Strength
(to push through any obstacle in our way to maintain our ideals, and to ensure we are providing a fun, safe, and respectful experience for all members.)

I= Integrity
(believing that you and all members are a part of our community, and making sure that we uphold the same morals that KSI was built upon.)

Duties as a SGT

Know Rank structure up to Senior Director and who holds those positions. Participate in squad activities. (ex. Game Nights, Recruiting Lobbies, Squad Meeting) Make sure members are staying in uniform. (motto/bio/armor)

Train and mentor lower ranking members in basic squad operations, and recruiting. Assist the squad in maintaining positive squad growth, by recruiting. Guide members in using the proper chain of command.

SGT Expectations

these are things that are expected from SGT’s, but not considered a responsibility. These are the things that will help prepare you for LT rank.

Be PROACTIVE!!
Initiate contact with your officers, to see if there is anything they need assistance on. If you have an idea, SHARE IT! Leaders are always looking for innovative ways to make KSI better.

Keep your squad ACTIVE!
While we understand playing with real life buddies is a necessity, make sure that you make a point to spend time with the members of your squad, they are your responsibility.

The more the members get to know you, the more they will respect you, and be willing to work for you when it’s your turn to run the squad. ("Its not that when you become a leader will people acknowledge you, It is the ones who are acknowledged that become leaders." )

Don’t rely on lower ranks to be the only recruiters. Make sure you are out there and getting it done with them. Remember the people you are recruiting today, will be your officers down the road when you make General. (explain purpose and use of recruiting)

Be active on the KSI Forums!
This is something that is always helpful in getting yourself recognized as an “active member”. Make sure you are posting in your Division Section, and your squad specific threads. (Inform them that as leaders they have to be “active” on the forums. What does active mean?”)

Learn what the Job Requirements/Responsibilities of a LT. It’s always good not only know your job, but also the one above you. That way you are 100% prepared for a promotion when it comes your way.

Bonus Question
Where can I find the KSI Rank Structure, and Code of Conduct?
