I'm looking into buying a capture card to record gameplay. Mostly CoD Zombies since I'm looking into starting a zombies channel. But I have a few questions.

Which capture card should I buy?

Where can I get it?

What is the price?

Is there any accessories I need with it?

I'm a newb to this stuff so that's why I came to you guys lol. I'm looking for a card that will record good with a good video/audio quality, but, I'm also looking for a fairly low price.

Which capture card should I buy? Elgato Game Capture HD

Where can I get it? Amazon and Best Buy maybe. http://www.amazon.com/Elgato-10025010-Game-Capture-HD/dp/B00840353W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1427896856&sr=8-1&keywords=elgato+game+capture+hd

What is the price? 134.95

Is there any accessories I need with it? A good enough pc that fits the specific system requirements.

I'd recommend The HD 60 since it is a newer model but its perfect for next gen consoles as it records in 60fps.

The Game Capture HD works just as good but only records in 30fps.

I currently have the HD PVR 2 gaming editiin, elegato game capture AND most recently picked up the elegato hd 60.

HD PVR 2 and elegato rival each other as the the large majority of those who stream and record gameplay use these. They're similar in quality and abilities/features. There's tons of YT vids out there to tell you all about the comparison between the two. However, quality-wise there's barely any difference if there are any at all. One thing to note is that the hd pvr 2 ge does have its own stand along power supply while the elegato is powered by its USB cord that goes to your pc. Why is that relevant? Wire management. Elegato has less wires to deal with and less crap to plug in on power strip etc.

The other thing I'll point out is that the interface is much more user friendly for elegato than hd pvr.

HD 60 is a fantastic upgrade to the already sexy elegato. Familiar interface but the functionality is great, and the quality is even better. Can record at 1080p and at 60 fps which is ideal for anything productions. Recording in 60 fps is particularly helpful for editors as it gives them more frames to make more precise adjustments and edits within a video to produce a better quality clip. Also I think, once again, the functionality is a big deal on the hd 60 as its very easy to do anything on there and with a faster response time than other devices. Two thumbs up. I'm loving mine :)

Sooooo when you start this series/channel, let us know wassup and maybe we'll feature some of your vids or maybe even the series on the official yt channel. Who knows :) we're always looking for more content from the community and it doesn't get any easier than something already recorded with quality :D
