Raid strats for Infinite Kaos Raid team

Hey guys,

From studying the dungeon journal here are some strategy I have come up with. As you know we wont be using video guides to kill raid bosses. Read this over and see if you have any input or maybe something you might want to change. post it below.

I will be updating this as i read over more and come up with more.

 

Nythendra

Phase one - Infestion

  • Infested Ground - aoe patch of poison damage to everyone who stands in it  - Dropped from multiple of the bosses abilities - we will keep these organized in one area.

  • Infested Breath - breathes poison in a direction - not sure if its from of him towards the tank or in a random direction, or selects a player - Leaves patches of Infested ground

  • Rot - debuff placed on a players. Takes damage for 9 seconds doing aoe damage to allies then explodes leaving patches of infested ground. I am assuming it is targeting randomly.

  • Volatile Rot - Tank Debuff - explodes after 8 seconds, tank will run the debuff to the wall, further away everyone is the less damage it does to raid

 

Phase two - Heart of the swarm

  • Happens when she reaches 0 energy, not sure if she can be attacked.

    • Will periodically swell insects to explode - not sure where they come from

    • Burst of corruption - Huge damage AoE, if hit take 25% increased damage

 

II’gynoth

Phase one

  • Nightmare Corruption - Aoe patches that drop different adds during fight, silence players

  • The Eye

    • Takes 99% less damage

    • Nightmare Gaze - selects a target and hits them with moderate damage

  • Nightmare Ichor  - spawn after we kill any add.

    • We will use this add to damage boss. When This add explodes from killing it, it will damage everyone including The Eye.

    • Fixates a random member.

    • Touch of corruption - puts stacking debuff on fixate target. Might be dispellable

  • Nightmare Horror - Tank add

    • Must be faced away from raid team

    • Stacking debuff, tanks must switch

    • Add has to go down fast, it spawns Nightmare corruption

  • Deathglare Tentacle

    • Channels mind flay on randoms raiders, interruptible

  • Corrupter Tentacle

    • Spews corruption to nearby raiders - creates Nightmare Corruption - Kill these quick

  • Dominator Tentacle - Tank add

    • Ground slam - Must be faced away from raid

    • Nightmarish Fury - strong CD must be used for this

    • Rupture Roar - aoe damage if no one in melee range.

Phase 2

  • When eye is destroyed, phase two begins exposing heart

    • Dark Reconstitution - Aoe one shot attack. If we do not exit his chamber quick enough

    • Cursed blood - Aoe DoT, spread 11 yards

    • Re-absorption - He will try and suck in Nightmare ichors, we cannot let him, or else Aoe damage will go off, similar to kilrogg

    • Final Torpor - I am assuming this a targeted area 1 shot kill, must see fight in order to know for sure.

 

Ereleth

  • Spider Form-

    • Web of pain - Most likely players will need to stack together for this - Does more damage the further the linked players are apart

    • Feeding Time- Spread out and kill the adds. Tanks take turns tanking spiderlings for they give a stacking debuff. They randomly select players and place debuff on them pulsing AoE damage, every pulse leaves a puddle of venom. Lets try and keep these organized in one part of the room similar to Xhul.

    • Vile Ambush - Randomly selects a spot to ambush from above on a players, need to run as far away as possible, the further the less damage it does.

  • Bird Form-

    • Gathering Clouds - Throws quils at everyone and pushes them back, similar to ji-kun. Drops Shimmering feathers

    • Shimmering Feathers - Used to one shot spiderlings summoned by boss

    • Dark Storm - Summons a huge tornado which does increased damage over time - Get to the middle of the storm immediately.

    • Twisting Shadows - Random raiders are selected and placed with a debuff - over 10 seconds the debuff will slowly become a storm which will damage and pull in others raiders around them. While the storm is forming, you can go and get rid of puddles on the other side. Stay away from these members as you will be sucked into the tornado which form around them.

    • Razor wing - Frontal cone, Damage is not split so no need to have two tanks standing in front of boss.

    • Raking talons - Stacking tank debuff. Ramps up very fast, tanks must look out for one another.

    • Surging Egg sacks - not sure how these are set up during raid yet. Just know if you run into them, more spiders release.

 

Ursoc

  • Overwhelm - Nuke damage - Damage taken increase debuff - One tank will handle this debuff

  • Rend Flesh  - Nuke damage - DoT afterwards - Second tank will handle this debuff

  • Focus Gaze - Will randomly Select one target and charge at him/her after 6 seconds

    • Barreling Impact - Will do damage to everyone in raid when reaching his target of focus gaze - Damage reduced by each player he runs through

    • Momentum - Everyone he touches while charging takes damage and get knocked back, we will then take 500% damage from momentum for 50 seconds. We will counter this by making two to three different soak groups depending on how often he charges.

    • Trampling Slam - Does massive damage to charge target, reduced the further away they are from boss when he begins charge. We might want to use a CD to soak this.

  • Roaring Cacophony - AoE damage to everyone within 25 yards splitting damage between all- Gives stacking debuff Echoing Dischord - We will counter this by dividing our raid in two to soak roars.

  • Enrage at 30%
