Post up any promotions, events and relevant divisional things. News teams 1-2 goal for all divisions participation. So You Think You Can Write (Closes 10/27/17) Trick or Treat is the topic. Write Right award will be given to the winner. 31st the winner will be announced. Departments: Please remember that ALL of these departments are hiring- T&E, News, Graphics, History, Productions, Marketing, Courts. Marketing applications close October 30. Court applications close October 28th. Productions Upload Studio Montage Competition is still up for about another week or so. 7's shouldn't be afraid to post montages either. Marketing In Depth: FI, EO, DL, and DR still need members ideally to accomplish the 1-2 member per division ratio. Marketing isn't a sales or product department. Meant to market KSI events. More information has been posted in the join department area. HR Workshops and Moving Forward: Still go to KSI Paratroop 7 for questions KSI Senior Leadership is now making divisional workshops a new task for all 7's staff per division. This weeks theme is MMS (Member Management System) and Access Denied. The divisional 7's staff is to host a themed workshop and make sure the Co-Founders are posting the notes in the HR section. So basically any 7's staff can host, Co-Founders post. Access Denied and Accesses (Gens and higher): Make sure that changes are being posted within on Access Denieds within 48 hours of the actual changes happening on Xbox. 7's staff member should not be making changes to peoples squads except for examples like: Division transfers, Blacklistings and Security Risks and very few other scenario's. Let the Gens do their Jobs! Bringing Things To Light: KSI has taken a new stance on Sexual Harassment and has updated is within the Handbook to be posted later in the year. If anyone has seen or heard of any further inappropriate contacting involving KSI Mpliers 7 please inform your divisional leadership. DO NOT EVER FEEL THREATENED BY ANY MEMBER OF ANY RANK TO REPORT SEXUAL HARASSMENT. Also please be open about any relationships regarding KSI members to your divisional leadership so that they may be aware of any possible future scenaro's. On another note, please make sure you're (Divisional 7's staff) signing up your divisions for the Division Leaders meeting. AAP : The January DOTMs (Divisional Of The Months) closes tonight, and as this is written almost all divisions have participated. We are very happy to see that so many from divisional leadership participated, as this is the first DOTM since the revival, and think that this can benefit us all. We hope to have winners announced and awarded by this weekend from the participating divisions. If any of you leaders have any questions or concerns of how this works, don’t hesitate to contact the assigned staff liaison or Dept Head Emmy. We hope to have you all participating in the next DOTM round in March, and to see you all for the OTMs (Of The Months) in February. To clarify, the DOTMs and the OTMs will be alternating, and each happen every second month. This means that the OTMs will open up in late February, and the DOTMs will be back in March, as mentioned above. The DMP (Divisional Milestones Program) will be back in a revamped form and with new milestones soon, and more info will come in coming meetings. Staff applications will also be opened up during February, dates to be announced in coming meetings, so spread the word! Graphics Department: - Applicants continuing to work on signatures under the guidance of the AD's. (assigning Applicants "mentors/AD's to follow) - Working on DMP Awards. - Several projects are being finished up, by the AD's, so if a department needs anything in particular for their departmets, let us know so we can add to our project list. If help is needed please contact your Director Proactive Communication: Communication is something we all have been lacking in. We would like to see all of us being more open and communicative on every level of leadership. The most effective divisions with the happiest members are those with active and open lines of communication from ground up Officer Ratios & Growth: Divisional 7 staff - please get with your directors to talk about current officer ratios and possible areas needing growth. For the month of June, all Divisions attaining the 10:1 member to officer ratio will receive double divisional cup participation points in that area for the month! (Gens) Officer ratios have been slipping in recent stat charts, if you are a gen and notice your officer ratio is off try to combat that by getting with your cofo to strategize what officer potential you have in your squad. Kicked and Removed From Divisions: It is mandatory to post evidence when kicking and removing from divisions. Imgur is your friend. When writing the details of the situation as to why someone was kicked/removed, please be as organized and in depth as possible. This is for your benefit as well as the community Discord communication: Make sure that the KSI Discords are being used professionally. We can be social in these chats at times, but need to make sure that we are upholding the CoC in the process and keeping petty drama out. All issues between members or leaders are to be handled IN A PARTY on Xbox, not via DMs or especially in any chats accessible to members Squad Promotions and Demotions: While for the most part Generals decide who get promoted within their squads, there are certain processes that must be upheld in doing so. SSGT - LT promotions: Completely up to Generals, please inform Co-Founders to stay in the loop but do not require their approval CPT promotions: Generals need approval from Co-Founders BEFORE promoting the captain in question. All Demotions: All demotions within a squad must be approved by Co-Founder prior to demotion. Spirit Week: Spirit Week will be coming up here in just a few weeks at the end of June!
