Assassin’s Creed III

AC3 may not be the next Halo 4 or Black Ops 2, but it is still a game that is in high demand, and I would recommend looking into getting it. The tone and storyline for this game has been drastically changed from a 1450-1500 Italian family seeking revenge to death in the family, to the hardships of a Native American in 1775. Desmond unlocks a new story in his line of assassin’s, this one coming from Native American Warrior named Connor. Connor, son of a Native American mother and British father, had watched his villages get destroyed. He pledged his life to seek freedom from the British colonies. With his assassin ancestry, his instincts take over allowing you to members of the British army in complete and utter silence. Connor had sworn his power to secure liberty and freedom from that of the British. In the game, you will be able to fight down the streets of Boston and run into the blood-shed of battle in the American wilderness, in hope to free this nation. You are able to meet some legendary heroes of this era, such as General George Washington, and help in the American Revolution. Now you’re also able to use a new array of weapons, such as tomahawks, rope darts, and firearms. Unlike that of Ezio or Altair, Connor will add a whole new spin on the Assassins Creed storyline and from what I have read; I would recommend it to everyone.

AC3 Assassin's Creed III [if this is the first time you mention it in the article, write the full name out.] may not be the next Halo 4 or Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but it is still a game that is in high demand., and I would recommend looking into getting it. [unless you are writing a review, try to keep your opinion out of the article.] The tone and storyline for this game has have been drastically changed from a 1450-1500 Italian family seeking revenge to death in the family [Revise this area. I know what you mean, but the wording on it is a bit off. You seek revenge FOR something. Or, you seek TO avenge something. We want to avenge your death, his death, their deaths, etc. We want revenge for the atrocities committed against us. See the difference?], to the hardships of a Native American in 1775. Desmond unlocks a new story in his line of assassin’s[assassins, because it isn't possessive, but also because of how you phrase the sentence.], this one coming from [a] Native American Warrior named Connor. In the game, you will be able to fight down the streets of Boston and run into the blood-shed of battle [wrong terminology. 'blood-shed' is usually past tense. "There was blood-shed, or blood shed, or however you want to call it." Perhaps the "thick" of battle would be more appropriate? There are a few options, but with what you are trying to convey, the terminology is a bit off. ] in the American wilderness, in hope to free this nation. All told, the article is a bit short. The game is being released soon, surely there is some more information about it out on the web? Sometimes, it is also nice to end the article with a video. Perhaps a trailer of the game, if it is going to be released soonish. For example:

**As far as an image I keep getting an error message and they haven't release much about the actually game play, other than the story-line that I have posted here.

Please sign up on www.ksiglobal.org and tell us your username.

Also, Badfur is enjoying his new waterfront home currently (joking -Hurricane Sandy), so it might take him a few days to get back on the Internet. Twahl (xQs) may finish up the editing; I know he claimed Mixer's at least.

Lastly, thank you for your effort on your first few days here! I'm surprised and keep up the good work!

Overall, it looks good, with a few minor changes.

being that the game is now out and there might be a few reviews by IGN and other gaming websites, a suggestion would be to go back and incorporate some review aspects of the game. Seeing as this is more about the storyline, I would still recommend it.

If you wish not to incorporate this, please take a look at the last line and change it; as I said, its been released.

Actually.. even though it has been released.. we could change the day it has been posted so that it looks like it was posted last sunday.. but yes, failing that, adding a review aspect to it would be the next best thing.

Assassin’s Creed 3: Bigger, but maybe not Better

assassins-creed-3-art2.png

With this newest installment in Ubisoft’s huge hit with the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed 3 would have to be the biggest installment to the series, but not the best. Overall, if I would have to rank this game, I would give it about a 7.25. With so much new story line that had to be developed for adding 2 main characters, different from that of the Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations games, it made it difficult to focus on what was really happening. In finishing the game, AC3 could have been divided up into some smaller, maybe even a trilogy of what happens in the beginning, middle and end. But AC3 did provide some new aspects that did make it an ok game.

Unlike in any other game in the Assassin’s Creed series, it is much harder to get involved in the game. I had played a good 8-9 hours of it before I really started liking the game and that was in the actual war. What was even worse is the side storyline of Desmond. From what they did in the previous games, I would have expected more to come from it figuring the fate of the world lies in his hands. All 3 characters storylines (Connor’s, Haytham Kenway’s or Desmond’s) seemed to have way to many “gray†areas on how they all were connected. It seemed to me as too much story, not each playing along. The storyline did entail one huge twist though in the part where you get the ‘How D’ya like them apples’ achievement, no spoiler.

I haven’t played the online myself, so this review is solely based on the storyline of Assassin’s Creed 3. So overall, I wouldn’t discourage any die-hard Assassin’s Creed fans to play/ buy the game, but in my eyes if you haven’t played the rest, don’t start here. So once again, I would have to give AC3, out of a possible 10, a 7.25.

What was even worse is the side storyline of Desmond. I would recommend looking over these quick edits.

After reading odin up there, I think that my minor edits will be enough to publish.

Take out everything that has line through it, including commas and periods.

Replace with everything in the green, including punctuation.

If you have any questions, go to skype ASAP.

Recenter and congrats on your first article.
