    I know I haven't been around in a bit.
I've been super busy with finishing school and getting ready for college.
I'll be on more now, though.. if that's any consolation.
Hopefully you don't hate me too much |:

The duties of KSI seem to fly right over some people's heads. Some see them as 'too difficult' or 'too complex', when in reality, I know the leaders aren't asking for much of us. We need order, and we have a specific system in which we use to keep that order in tact. It isn't hard to just simply pay attention to what's being said to us, and/or asked of us. We have officers in each individual squad for a reason, and when those officers don't do their job correctly, how are we to expect anything more from the upcoming recruits/soon-to-be-officers? If we treat our duties as a joke, they're going to be looked at as a joke. Yes, KSI is definitely supposed to be fun. That's the whole point behind it! But if we don't maintain any type of organization, we're going to crumble. You don't build a gaming community of 4300 members in the blink of an eye.

It isn't hard to express yourself in a manner that will offend people the least/not at all (in other words, watch what you say). It isn't hard to keep up with your squad (ex. make events in order to create more active members, welcome any and all recruits, keep up with fluff). It isn't hard to do what's expected of you (ex. taking unique/personalized notes/attendance on the weekly meetings, training/recruiting, being apart of the squad itself). It is most certainly not hard at all to shoot a message to anyone above you in rank to fill them in on your availability during the week.

Yes, KSI is a family, and we stick together no matter what. We make jokes, we have fun, we help each other in any way possible (KSI-wise or personal). But we are also an organization (ksiglobal.ORG) that needs grooming every now and again. /endrant

I completely agree with this. Honestly even has an officer we don't ask much work from you. We ask you to train and recruit. Go out and play games and have fun, recruits will fall right into your laps. We are a gaming community, I hate hearing people say they don't get to play a lot of games because they are always trying to get a hold of someone. I always told my officers, check the recruit tag and squad tag when you get on, when your changing games, or just before you get off. I expected anybody to sit there staying at either tag all day to train people. So many people have made officer roles into full time jobs. People need to remember we are a GAMING community, play games have fun, but remember to check the recruit and squad tags at least 1 time a day. Plus, if you make everything about work, you get burned out easy and you just give up and want to leave. I know, I did it to myself before as a 4LT, 1CPT, and truthfully a few times as a GEN. You need to remember to take time to play games and enjoy yourself. Another key lesson is, this is an online community, people will do stupid stuff to get kicked out or will get bored and just leave. Honestly it happens, people will come and go. You can't really get yourself down on it, you need to accept it will happen and move on. Also, you can make a lot of new friends through KSI on and off xbox. There will be people you will get very close to on a personal level. That is what KSI is about. A group of people becoming friends, and for most a family and gaming together. As long as you remember to have fun, KSI is what you make of it. I have been a member since 8-20-2013 and I have had the greatest time of my life. I have been through rough patches and even wanted to leave a few times, if that happens, step back and remember why you joined and get back to that. KSI is an amazing community and you will meet some amazing people in here.

I really like this and I am very happy you shared because things seem to work out 1 or many ways when being in a community like this, people forget that this is just a game so nothing anyone says here affects you in real life, when you join this community people don't realize that nothing is going to really be expected of you until you change your name to a KSI tag 1. because you show your willing to become a Sergeant and do work for the community you paid the $10 to change your name for and 2. if you say you understand everything and want more to do it is nobody's fault for failing but your own because you made that promise to your superiors. I have seen a lot happen here and it doesn't make any sense because why are some members being told just to have fun but then there are people who say it's all work sometimes it works but we all care about each other and I know this may be naive of me to say but it's my opinion when you have a squad that is failing leaders will try whatever they can to save it but what if the process the squad you take from starts failing?  People seem to thing that the more power they have they will either get more friends or they just like the feeling which does cause a lot of people to leave because they loose friends due to this then it DOES affect their real life which I have had this happen to me as well. Personally I always tell people do NOT change your gamertag if you know you won't do anything save the $10 but members that become officers seem to loose sight of what we are all here to do work to make our squad split or make our division grow. It is very sad when someone was taught a certain way about how things are done but then be told that's not right because nobody wants to put their all into one thing. I know not everything I said is valid but I feel I can share it and I do apologize for anything being offensive but when I joined KSI the first community ever for me I was told to help make my squad I am in the best and help it grow. Of course not everyone feels that is right but when I was General for 9 months I wanted nothing more than to make the squad grow and prosper and in my time stepping away it has I am proud of that but not the way it went about. I think people that say they want to do more should show this more if you want this community to grow do it. I love this community and all the crap it put me through non the less I have shed tears of joy and sadness, even given my health to this community I never want it to leave but I do feel people have lost sight of what we are ment to do here. If anything I said is wrong I will not be mad if this is removed but I just felt like I needed to say it.

I wouldnt say undervalued otherwise it wouldn't exist, but more so underrated across the globe simply because it's not as well known as other forces. Sometimes that's a good thing Snipers are bamfs for a reason. Mad props and respect to the dude for making it that far. That's not an easy feat to achieve - being a scout sniper.

In other news... if word hasn't passed yet I picked up a new division. I now have FI/CO/EO. Ash with any additional div I receive, I highly encourage you all to game up with those folks and interact a little more. It helps with relationships, info exchange, and you never know who you'll meet #networking. The collateral effect is seeing what works and doesn't work over there for them and vice versa.

Anywho. Good morning folks. Hope yall have a fantastic day.
