Arson1stZero 0
So here we are, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Slated for a “Holiday†release, which we now know is October 29 th in the states and November 1 st in Europe (sorry boys and girls across the pond as usual you’ll have to wait a few extra days.) By now I’m sure we’ve seen both the trailer and the gameplay trailer, this gives us all we need to know about this game. It’s got pirates, enough said. And with that said I present to you Edward Kenway. *Dramatic Fanfare Plays* yes ladies and gentleman you get to be a pirate. In the trailer we see Kenway sporting 4 flintlocks, 2 cutlasses, and of course the hidden blade, chaining kills like a pro. Storyline details are a little scarce of course, despite my best attempts at trying to chat up Ubisoft for a little bit of extra info, but what we are told is that Kenway is a pirate trained by assassins. No more playing a character who is always searching for truth, and struggling with a moral compass, now we get to do away with that and focus on something more important, Treasure! But wait there’s more, you get a boat, *short pause while you listen to The Lonely Island in your head* The “Jackdawâ€, and you will be in charge of your own crew, but beware of being a lazy captain. In my conversation with Ubisoft I was told that if you just sit back and relax while you send your crew over to board a vessel, it’s likely you will lose and few men and have to replace them. Ubisoft says this is part of the game because with this title they are trying to bring in historical accuracy and a sense of reality, so you get the real feel for how it was like to be a pirate. Pulling on legendary figures, starting with Blackbeard, shown in the gameplay trailer complete with lit fuses under his hat, and Charles Vane, a guy known for cheating everyone even his own crew. I’m sure more have been added to the roster but the point of it all is that they seem to want to hold up what history has told us about these characters, rather then rewrite history for a good story. I'm told the gameplay also has a much heavier naval aspect, as compared to the previous game. The basic mechanics will be the same for piloting the boat, but many new aspects have been added mostly to the on the sea combat portions. The kind gentleman at Ubisoft that I talked to said it’s around 40 percent naval and 60 percent land based, and according to the press release with over 50 navigable locations, it’s a good bet there will still be a lot of free-running. Ubisoft says this game will stick to the “pillars†of the series but still be enjoyable for newcomers. This was expanded in my call with them to say they "wanted to make a game that a first time gamer to the series can come into and enjoy all areas of the story and gameplay, but also a game that the veterans of the series can jump into with the same storyline and never miss a beat or be disappointed if there are any breaks in the series story arc." All in all the dev crew for AC4 is the same all-star cast, so if nothing else this is sure to be a visually stunning and beautiful game.
Badfur 13
Ok, so, before I get into this, there's a few things to note. First, when doing dates, don't use 'st' or 'th'. October 1, September 4, etc. That said, what is your goal with this article? Are you trying to convey information about Assassin's Creed 4 to readers? Or do you have another goal in mind with this article? This is an article, whitespace is good to keep things easy on the eyes. Note the break between this paragraph and the previous. Hit 'enter' or 'return' twice, not once, when separating paragraphs.
 Awards

Badfur 13
Better, but now you have an extra space. Only one space between paragraphs. Also, you should try to avoid assuming. Some people perhaps haven't heard of AC: 4, or don't know much about it. Or, they may know about it, but haven't seen the trailers... which is more likely. So, when you bring up trailers they haven't seen, in an article explaining the info they want to know.. it's a good way to lose readers. I suggest a slight change in that regard.. Something to the effect of "As seen in the trailers, in this game you play as Edward Kenway, a pirate." From there, you can continue on to explain the rest of it. Also attaching one of the trailers to the bottom of the post would be excellent, readily providing info on the page so the reader doesn't have to search elsewhere. On the subject of assuming, I have no idea what 'The Lonely Island' is, so when you reference it... I'm a bit lost on that. If I don't know what it is, then some others won't as well, we're trying not to alienate anyone in our target audience. Also, avoid the use of *waiting while something happens*. There are perfectly acceptable ways to convey the same thing, but in a written format.
 Awards

Yes, ladies and gentleman, you get to be a pirate. In the trailer we see Kenway sporting 4 flintlocks, 2 cutlasses, and of course, the hidden blade, chaining kills like an MLG. [so, a couple things. If we are speaking, there wouldn't really be anything wrong with this sentence, except someone going 'huh?'. First, you start listing things, which is great, but you don't have a transition at the end of the list. So, 'chaining kills like an MLG' is something Kenway is wearing. Next up, 'MLG', avoid abbreviations without explaining them first. It keeps everyone on the same page, which is quite important.] Storyline details are a little scarce of course, despite my best attempts at trying to chat up Ubisoft for a little bit of extra info, but what we are told is that Kenway is a pirate trained by assassins. (I wonder if with it, involves the crew having a mutiny...)Pulling on legendary figures, [Please explain to me how you 'pull on' legendary figures? I wasn't aware they were an article of clothing. Also note: with this start, the sentence sounds terrible. There are other ways of getting your point across.] starting with Blackbeard, shown in the gameplay trailer complete with lit fuses under his hat, [This area more than anything throws off the sentence.] and Charles Vane, a guy known for cheating everyone, even his own crew. Ubisoft says this is part of the game because with this title they are trying to bring in historical accuracy and a sense of reality, so you get the real feel for how it was like to be a pirate. The game play trailer also gives us a preview of some historical figures that have been added to the cast. Starting with Blackbeard, shown complete with lit fuses under his hat, consistent with his legend, and Charles Vane, a guy known for cheating everyone even his own crew. I’m sure more have been added to the roster but the point of it all is that they seem to want to hold up to what history has told us about these characters, rather then rewrite history for a good story.
