KSI HiddenFlame 1 Posted June 27, 2014 Report Share Posted June 27, 2014 I have recently been informed that two users have complained about the way that the Elite Four team was being run. I apologize in advance if these complaints had anything to do with what was said about where the member was positioned on the team. Please let me clarify. It is your choice to become apart of the Elite Four. Like other teams however, they are divided into team sections. Their positions are based on their skill level / 1v1 matches, but anyone can join in. One of those users that came to a higher up had said that they were declined to have given the option to become apart of the Elite Four. This is not true. This member was asked and given an opportunity to join the team but never seized the chance to do so, never coming up to me and saying "Hey, I want to be here." Tryouts are simply to assess someone's skill, behavior, and to see who they work best with. Even if they are not strong in what we do, it is my duty, as it is for the other section captains, to coordinate a strategy to improve. It is also my duty to motivate members part of this team, as well as in Bravery. The second complaint was an exclusion of participation. For reasons unknown, it was reported the other day by KSI KenzaBenz that she never received the practice notice when it was sent the other night. It is not within my intentions to exclude any member joined into the Elite Four, be weary that I did not intentionally 'skip' inviting anyone apart of the team. I would like to restate that anyone can be apart of multiple teams so long as they are not someone that is running one. What saddened me is that some ran away from their offered position. Do not be afraid, we are here to make you better and to have fun. We currently stand at only four members, posted below in my signature. Tonight at 6PM EST we are hosting another tryout session. I will choose a different method to send out the notice unlike the previous one that didn't deliver to all intended members. I will explain the new CHIT system. If you are late to a match or did not show up, you will receive a WARNING. If you violate minor CoC, you will receive a WARNING and the incident will be recorded. If you violate a major CoC, you will receive a RED CHIT and the incident will be recorded. If you are late to a match or did not show up when you are given notice and is mandatory, you will receive a RED CHIT. If you have a justified reason before attendance is taken 5 minutes after startup, you won't be receiving either warning / chit. We will rarely conduct exercises on weekends. 4 Warnings get you a Red Chit. Warnings will last for the duration of that week. 3 Red Chits and your position on that Team Section comes into question, and a one on one interview will be conducted to try to resolve the problem. 5 Red Chits and your position on that Team Section becomes temporarily suspended until a one on one interview is conducted. Red Chits generally last a month depending on the severity of the incident. You can also receive a Blue Chit, which negates the effects of a Red Chit. These are awarded for outstanding behavior, etc. Blue Chits and Red Chits are recorded and reported to higher ups for statistics, progress, who's doing a good job and who isn't being active. I believe that this chit system is fair. This tells the member that they must participate in at least two activities a week, excluding mandatory activities which will be given far ahead of time to ensure attendance.
