Division transfers need to be done correctly

Make sure clan wars teams are up

When training someone, don't slack off on it. Make sure to ask if they fully understand what you told them and help them learn the proper way. Recruits should be done properly. Evil will not track you down if one of your recruits is incorrect. Look for your mistakes, and fix them.In order for our division to succeed, we will have to work together as a team. No more petty problems. Those kinds of things destroy squads and divisions.You generals should be helping each other. If you notice something wrong with someone else's squad, point it out to them, but don't be mean. We're all here to help each other grow and learn to become the greatest leaders that we can.

Don't recruit anyone with a pulse. Actually take time and get to know them. We want our members to enjoy being around new recruits, so if they're rude, don't waste your time recruiting them.

We have to stop being lazy and taking short cuts! If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. Take time and pride in who you train and mentor. Don't slack!

Forums activity! Please stay active, but don't spam!We won't ever grow if we don't stay positive!

Be aware of people on your friends lists. Do regular security checks on everyone you're friends with.

Game nights! If you're having a game night, make sure to message us sevens! We want to come and meet your members and game with you guys!

We need to get LW out there! Start getting involved in weekend warfare and game nights. Get more involved!

Officers should be able to handle small issues, but bigger things need to be brought to generals and even sevens.

Upper leadership notes: it's not bad yet but make sure you are staying on top of them there are a few out there that haven't posted in 3 weeks or more

LEAD we will be starting with the 101 classes keep checking in the education section on the forums for more info (we should have it rolling out by 2-7)

Award shows let's make sure we have a big turn out for the stream we should have some prizes workshops these are a must.

we relive that everyone is busy but it's very important to get back to basics. If you don't have material there is a topic in the leaders section called "back to basics"(these are all approved if you have your own workshop you need to pm one of the seniors for approval.(this is to make sure the proper lessons are being passed down) Lv 3 g14 access members dont forget to keep an eye on your members access on g14. If they are not signing in on a regular basis how are they keeping it matched with the tag?

Please make sure all newly promoted and current officers have a forums account and make sure they know it needs to stay active.

LW Notes We will be having another recruiting tournament. General and up can not compete. Prizes and more information will be given out soon.

Recruits sent to the recruit tag will be denied without 500 gamerscore, 20 of their own friends, or if their motto and bio aren't correct. Please make sure everything is done right before adding the recruit tag.

Recruits must be trained off the recruit tag ASAP! We are losing valuable recruits because officers aren't getting to them in time.

If a recruit on the tag is ignoring you, send a message to the recruit tag so they can be fluffed.

Demotions will be given to officers who are not active on the forums! Minimum two posts a week!!

The forums is not the appropriate place for drama! Take it up with your general or cofounder on Xbox.

The COC needs to be followed when communicating with fellow members on any platform! Kik, Facebook, the forums, etc.

1) LEAD Class starts this coming Tuesday at 7:30, this is only for Co-Fo’s and up

2) Make sure notes are being passed down to all and posted in squad areas in the forums

3) This week’s Stress word is “Communicationâ€. Make sure that we are communicating with everyone on a daily basis so no one is left out of the circle of what is going on

4) Please don’t forget that the Senior Directors are still settling into their new roles as the go-to guys and are trying to set up a face-to-face with each division leader and their team

5) G14 Access: We are wanting to make sure that you know that the access to the G14 is not going to be allowed to go past 7 days but we will be communicating as much as we can so be prepared to get messages from us to help remind you to do your job

6) Make sure to keep up with the work that is due on the forums for example: G14 request and removal, forums request or removal

7) The Leader List is now being done by the Senior Directors, please send a full list by PM and include all of us so we can correct any and all Divisions. Remember this should be updated monthly and/or any time a promotion or demotion happens. Also you are responsible to send this information to Luci on the forums

8) Everyone please congratulate KSI Doctor 7 on his promotion to Chief Department Manager of the KSI Board of Directors. Doctor has been involved in most of KSI’s external programs and we are all excited to see what’s to come of those departments

LW Notes:

- Two new squads: The XB1 squad is named Caesar and the Destiny squad is named Hannibal.

- Game Nights: We need to increase the number of game nights we’re having. All squads should be having at least one game night a week.

- Back to Basics: Make sure you are training you replacement! Gens if you want to promote someone they will need to be tested by their Co-Founder before you can promote them.

- Nick will start having a “trivia question of the day†on the forums page. Correct answers will award members “points†which will be totaled up weekly. The person with the most posts at the end of the week will win a prize.

- Generals make sure you are sending out at least 3 messages a week on the squad tag. Messages should be sent out about Weekend Warfare, 7’s vs. Viewers, and weekly meetings for the squad.

Leadership Notes:

-          Make sure all your members that have G14 access are logging into their G14 every day or every other day, remember if a member with G14 access doesn’t log onto their G14 for 7 days their access will be removed

-          Make sure that your 7’s and Gens that have squad tags are using them properly and sending out messages. The squad tags are the only place that you can send your entire squad a message so use it as a tool because it is a tool

-          Make sure that you are training your members (train your replacement) correctly and make sure that you spend the time to do so properly

-          Make sure that you sign up for the LEAD classes, 7’s only at first.  Classes will be offered to more members in the future

-          All 7’s that have silver accounts make sure you are using them

-          RID:

o   Research the situation

o   Identify the problem and the people involved

o   Defuse the situation

-          Promote the social medias

LW Notes:

-          We are growing as a division.  Make sure you are checking to see if your recruits have been trained off the recruit tag. Evil 7 said “He didn’t even have to ***** about the recruit tag Jâ€

-          Some things will be changing with the 7’s staff in the near future. For the time being if you need anything go to KSI Collector 7 or KSI Country 7.  KSI Evil 7 will be in a special advisory role for a little while

-          AAP OTM Awards: January topic closes on Sunday 2/8/15. Go out and nominate someone that you think has gone above and beyond.  Even if someone is nominated go ahead and vouch for them. Evil want us to push this to help get the individuals that are going above and beyond can be recognized.

-          Weekend Warfare: Advanced Warfare 4v4 Momentum on 360. This will be Saturday February 7^th at 8pm EST

-          We talked about using a new approach when it comes to dealing with problems that come up, but we need to start taking the time to figure out the real problem and figure out a way to use it to improve the members involved. Let’s not be quick to make a decision but spend the time to make a thoughtful decision.

-          Recruiting needs to pick up for the squad to grow.  We need to start growing so this squad can improve.

-          Game Nights!! Game nights need to pick up the amount of game nights. Remember any member can hold a game night, just let KSI Collector 7 know so he can send out a message about it.

-          Overall Activity- We need to get more Beowulf members involved on a daily basis, some members are inactive and will be removed once we start adding members.

-          Recruiting tournament will start Monday February 9, 2015!!! It will last for 2 weeks and the winner will get $20 in Microsoft points. Must have at least 10 recruits to qualify for the prize.

-          Until further notice any CPL that gets 5 recruits will be given a free name change!!! Hopefully this will increase the number of recruits coming in and possibly find some new officers along the way.

1. The free Xbox live that is being offered in your inbox should not be used on the squad tags, we have been asked about that in the past and we want to make sure that it is clear that the squad tags must remain Silver and not be used with any Smartglass app, xbox.com unless directed by the Seniors.

2. Please go over the open door area policy with your division this week. ensure that everyone knows the rank structure and who is in those positions.

5. Promotion from Pvt to Cpl, should only happen when you talk to the member. If you don’t get them into a party or one of your cpt’s cant do the promotion you need to ask if they are active enough to remain in KSI.

6. ONI is going to be working with us on some projects with several of the divisions, and since we needed to put her in a unique position we gave her a unique name: Community Advisor.

7. There is a new Thread on the forums in the L.E.A.D section created by KSI QueenJess 7 called Leadership Resources, please take a few minutes to go over that with your leaders. Also please look up the Divisional Benchmark Status to help educate your leaders on what is .

8. Chaos needs a list of AW CoD Elite Squads/Division and if you don’t have any would like to know “why the Huck Not†We need to compile a list of all the divisions and squads that are participating in the Clan Wars. He is trying to account for where/who is taking advantage of the opportunities that we should be taking advantage of. So make sure that you have this info compiled and PM’d to Chaos and CC the Seniors.

9. Transfers will need to PM the senior director after first contacting your leaders in your division. In this PM you need to include your KSI gamer tag, squads and division you are in, your rank, the division you are wanting to go to with reason you are wanting to leave.

- There’s a lot going on here in LW. So make sure you are staying on top of things and not cutting corners. LW is on its way to contending with the bigger divisions.

- Gens make sure you are posting your squad goals and stats on the forums ever week. Please make sure you keep up with this and don’t fall behind.

- New transfer policy on the forums page. Transfer policy is as follows: The leader has to come into the area and post up an approval of the transfer along with giving you the permission to post. The Divisional Leaders will have 72 hours after the interview process is complete to follow up with this process. So far it has been beneficial for all parties involved, as you know there have been problems in the past. It’s up to us if we want to require the member transferring to get 2 recruits before they go. It’s better to let the person transfer without getting the 2 recruits than have them leave KSI all together

1. The L.E.A.D. Class session 2 has concluded and the next classes will start in the next few weeks. We are working on getting the program started on both the 360 and the Xbox one, with that being said the old program of allowing LT and up on the 101 classes will be the standard and Generals and up on the 201 will be the standard. For all your information on the LEAD PROGRAM please visit the LEAD Section on the forums and all your questions should be answered there, any other questions just ask them there and one of the staff will be glad to answer them.

2. The join section will be going through a little change in the near future, we will have a join section and a rejoin section in the future, so be on the look out for that coming soon.

3. All of the Join Section will now have a one week hold on them so the staff will have time to do their jobs without rushing, and they will have time to bring in any 7’s if need be. This will slow down the rejoin and join section but it will make the department run more efficient.

4. Make sure that you are ready for summer and the influx of what we have always call the summer rush of recruits, this time of year we always get an influx of recruits because of the extra time that school agers are allowed on the xbox, make sure that you are talking to your squads and your cofo’s and getting them prepared for this time of year and don’t drop the ball, its and excellent time to find your next officer or 7.

5. Make sure that the meeting notes are being passed down and that they are being posted we have got to ensure that the notes are reaching everyone all the way down to the privates. Utilize your Silver Accounts daily.

6. This weeks Weekend Warefare is a 4v4 swat on halo 4 on 360 and also the Xbone. Make sure that you are asking your div to participate with the weekend warfare and support them.

7. In the last 2 weeks we grew 100 members with also defluffing in 2 divisions, that is showing

8. Productions is taking applications, if you are interested please visit the productions section of the forums and keep sending in those great clips.

9. Finally lets keep the push for Spirit Week, we have had a great response so for and lets keep it going.

10. T&E applications are still open also.

KSI iLLuSiON 7 – Productions is looking for new members that would like to stream. If you have a capture card and need help learning how to stream, the productions team will help teach you. They are also looking for people that are interested in editing; they will also help you with that. They’ve got lots of good events coming up so keep an eye out for that. There is also an open topic in the productions area of the forums. Also news team, check out the news articles @ www.ksiglobal.org. There should be an area where you can comment on their articles. The writers definitely want to hear some comments so they know their work is being read and would really mean a lot to them if you do comment.

- Recruiting tournament ended Thursday night. KSI Nick 7 will be going through and counting up the amount of recruits for each member. Expect winners to be announced at next week’s meeting.

- Don’t cut corners, but make sure you’re still having fun. That’s the reason we are all here.

- Feel free to branch out of your squad. KSI Nick 7 will be working on planning some division wide game-nights.

- Remember when you are recruiting people they MUST have 20 non-KSI members on their friend’s list. If this continues to be a problem we will be addressing the issue.

- If there are recruits on the recruit tag that won’t respond to you guys when you try to train them you should give them 3 warnings. After those 3 warnings you should message the recruit tag and let us know the situation.

- Shout out to KSI Green 7 and KSI Collector 7 for their hard work as Co-Founders

- Remember to post up your KSI History in the LW section on the forums page.

- Remember to make sure our members are “un-poachable†we need to get them involved from the moment they get recruited in. This means holding game-nights regularly as well as just playing with them

- AW/BO2 squads need to be making sure that emblems are kept PG rated. We don’t want to see nudity, racial slurs, etc.

- Make sure that when CPL’s are recruiting you remind them that a LT or higher needs to shadow them until they are ready to recruit on their own. Make sure that the CPL’s are putting who cleared them to recruit in their bios.

- For those of you that don’t already know this KSI EVIL 7 stepped down due to medical issues. He is okay, but he won’t have as much time on Xbox anymore and he felt like this was the right thing for him to do. Keep him in your thoughts over the next few weeks

- As always make sure we are all pushing all the different social media websites that KSI has to offer: Twitter, Facebook, Twitch, etc.

* The Forums History Area is now open. It is located at the bottom of the forums after you sign in. Go and post your KSi History there.

* Divisional OTM's are up for the month of April. The 7's of each division will be a close eye on who's putting in work.

* Message KSI Doctor 7 with any and all promotions. He willl post them on our KSI Facebook page and get our members some more recognition.

* Kik is not a replacement for the forums. CoC and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) apply to all KSI Sanctioned Kik chats and everyone in them. If a Senior Leader asks for a copy of your Kik chat, it is mandatory that you supply a copy to them. Failure to do can result in disciplinary action.

* WI will be using acceptance forms for all disciplinary transfers to that division.

* Do not spam the 7's!! This is an ongoing problem in LW. Just send one party invite and a message stating the intention of the party. Don't freak out and blow us up. If we do not get with you in a timely fashion, chances are we're dealing with an issue. Be patient. If we need another invite, we'll ask for one.

* Start following the Chain of Command. Officers are put in place to handle minor issues, among other things. The 7's should be a last resort in minor issues, when all other options have been used. Obviously, if a situation is serious, we need to be the first to know. All other issues need to be handled in-squad.

* KSI Green 7 will start announcing the Games with Gold each month. For May 16th, the game to be released will be F1 2013, a racing game. For those members looking to increase their gamerscore or pick up a new game to keep them busy, this one might be worth checking out.

Leader’s Notes:

- Spirit Week- should be fun, but may get stressful while trying to win. It’s all about showing everyone that we are proud of our squads, divisions, etc. Some awesome prizes will be given out this year during spirit week. If we feel like we could use some help getting our division ready for spirit week make sure to branch out and ask others for help. This also applies to other things as well.

- LEAD classes are going on as well. Make sure to check out the LEAD section of the forums for more information

- Keep in mind we are here because we want to. It should be fun, if you don’t feel like KSI is enjoyable make sure to talk to someone about it. Even though we have the CoC remember there are times when we feel as though we are around our friends and sometimes we say things that we probably shouldn’t. Everyone should remember that we are here to have fun and not to stress the little things.

- News team is still looking for more members.

- Make sure to look on the forums for the spirit week videos. Please watch them and put in your votes.

- Spirit week will start on June 24th. As of now you’ll need a team for Halo 4 (360) (3 person team), MCC (XB1) (3 person team), most likely will be AW (could be Ghosts) (360&XB1) (4 person teams), Karaoke (2 participants) (possibly 1) (could potentially utilize skype for this)

- Push KSI social media

LW Notes:

- Nick will be getting the results for the recruiting tournament in the next couple days. Prizes will be given out for 1st and 2nd prize, prizes will be distributed within a month

- We’re still messing up on some of our recruiting. KSI Nick 7 will be keeping track of people that are making mistakes and requiring them to be re-trained. Nick will also be getting with CPL’s around the division to make sure they know the proper procedures. When the recruit has members from another community on their friends list make sure to ask them about it and send a message to the recruit tag about it. Same goes for training them off the recruit tag.

- Make sure you are training your replacement. We will be looking for a new co-founder in the near future, so make sure you have someone to replace yourself. There will be plenty of opportunities for members in LW. Generals need to make sure their officers are training their replacements.

- Rank Structure- make sure you are following the chain of command when you have issues within your squads. The 7’s are busy and shouldn’t be bothered with minor issues.

- History section on the forums. It is located at the very bottom of the forums page. You can write your own history there, view other people’s histories, etc.

- We have an LW/ES facebook page, make sure to check that out.

- Remember we are on lockdown! Keep parties and game lobbies on invite only until further notice. If you are approached by a random make sure to check out their motto/bio and friends list. That will usually tell you a lot about the person.

Also, for divisions that are not on there, we did NOT get anything from your division in the topic. If you are having issues, contact Doctor and we'll get you situated for the topic. Spirit week will be here before you know it. (June24th) be getting your teams ready for 360 and the xbone for Halo and COD.Also don't forget about karaoke night. I would be holding some auditions for this contest.

Remind people that members who change their gamertags are to be promoted to sgt immediately unless they have yet to be trained off of the recruit tag. As soon as they are trained and add the squad tag they can be promoted to Sgt. Immediately..

Also remind Generals to stay up to date on their squad meeting notes on the forums.

- Recruiting tournament results: 1st place- KSI Revex, 2nd place- KSI Lil Freddy

- We’re still messing up on some of our recruiting. KSI Nick 7 will be keeping track of people that are making mistakes and requiring them to be re-trained. Nick will also be getting with CPL’s around the division to make sure they know the proper procedures. When the recruit has members from another community on their friends list make sure to ask them about it and send a message to the recruit tag about it. Same goes for training them off the recruit tag.

- Make sure you are training your replacement. We will be looking for a new co-founder in the near future, so make sure you have someone to replace yourself. There will be plenty of opportunities for members in LW. Generals need to make sure their officers are training their replacements.

- Rank Structure- make sure you are following the chain of command when you have issues within your squads. The 7’s are busy and shouldn’t be bothered with minor issues.

- History section on the forums. It is located at the very bottom of the forums page. You can write your own history there, view other people’s histories, etc.

- We have an LW/ES facebook page, make sure to check that out.

- Remember we are on lockdown! Keep parties and game lobbies on invite only until further notice. If you are approached by a random make sure to check out their motto/bio and friends list. That will usually tell you a lot about the person.

Leader’s Notes:

- AAP of the Months are up. Go nominate someone that you feel deserves recognition for the work they’ve been doing. If we set up a time to do an AAP workshop KSI Scotland 7 will come help us with that.

- Check out the work the News team has been doing lately. They’ve got a lot of articles out there right now. KSI REDRANG3R is working on an article about LW that should be finished

- Productions is looking for people that are able to stream in HD, they need people that can stream on Xbox 360

- Go to the forums; make sure you are using the full version, if you look above the shout-box you can see the link to vote for your favorite Spirit Week promotional video. Make sure to go put in your vote.

- Spirit Week- everyone needs to be ready to have teams for each of the events. Keep working on setting these teams up. It is preferred that the 7’s do not participate in this. Possibility of having a GTA 5 race. If there is a tie-breaker there will be a special tie-breaker game.

- Graphics area- if you would like the graphics team to make you a cool signature, make sure to check it out. Remember you must have 45 posts (non-spam) in order to get a signature made. Also graphics team is looking for more members.

Upper Leadership Notes:

-Spirit Week will be starting on June 24th. All divisions need to be getting teams together to compete. An entire list of the events will be available on the forums page sometime this weekend. Anyone that is interested in competing needs to get with their GEN for help getting with the team leaders. In the case of a tie at the end of the week there will be a special event to determine the winner.

-The AAP OTMs are now open on the forums page. If you think someone was doing an outstanding job during the month of May, be sure to go Nominate them on the forums page.

-KSI Scotland 7 will be hosting an AAP workshop on Saturday @ 7:30pm EST for those that wish to learn more about the AAP procedures. It will be held on BO2 or Happy Wars, depending on the number of people that attend.

-GENs and 7s need to make sure they are updating their G14 daily. There is no reason why a G14 should be offline for more than two days.

-All officers must be active on the forums. This means that you must attain your minimum of two posts a week. One of those must be in roll call and at least once in their specific chat.

-The Director Rank has been brought back in Achilles With that our new Director is now KSI Thor 7.

-Congratulate KSI Collector 7 on his new promotion to LW Founder and KSI PaperBag 7 on his promotion to Co-Founder.

LW Notes:

-Officers need to be training at least two people to take over their position in order for them to receive a promotion. Make sure that your replacements know all of the job duties that come with holding your position.

-KSI Collector 7 will now be in charge of the RCT Tag. Hopefully the tag will be checked daily. GENs will also be notified of anyone that is making mistakes within their squad so that it can be dealt with appropriately.

-Promote the Facebook page for LW. It can be found by searching KSI Eternal Souls and Legendary Warriors.

-Make sure that all game Emblems are kept professional. We want to represent KSI as a positive gaming community so keep your emblems clean.

-The lockdown is still in affect. All parties and game lobbies need to be set to invite only. Also if you are approached by a random be sure to check out their profile and friends list to make sure that they are not part of a blacklisted community.

-All of the squads need to be finding ways to motivate their SGTs and CPLs to recruit. In many cases we have squads that are close to splitting and do not have the qualified members to take on an officer role. They need to understand the recruiting process completely before they are eligible.

-KSI PaperBag 7 will be looking over the Samurai, Achilles, and Beowulf squads.

-The website for G14 is strictly for 7s and GENs only. All other members need to stay off of the site.

Upper Leadership Notes:

-Keep the Shout Out program active. It has proven to be an effective tool in motivating the members of LW, but we haven't been seeing as many messages lately. If you see someone doing a good job, send a shout out recognizing that.

-Spirit Week is closing in fast, starting June 24th. There is a topic on the forums page listing the dates and activities that will be held. GENs make sure u are sending messages out every day to promote Spirit Week.

-Productions Team is looking for members that are capable of streaming in HD. If you are interested in signing up or leaning more about how to stream you can apply on the forums.

-News Team is always looking for new members that want to post stories about KSI. Sign up on the forums if you are interested in being on the team.

-The Join and Rejoin sections are now up on the forums page. If anyone is made to do either application a 7 must be notified in order to keep an eye on it. There will usually be a 1 week wait for those people to be accepted so that they can be checked out to make sure they are not going to pose a security risk.

-Always promote the Social Media for KSI.

-Father's Day is this Sunday. All meetings on Sunday will be voluntary or rescheduled.

LW Notes:

-There has been a lot of careless mistakes on the RCT Tag again. Recruiters that continue to make mistakes will start being retrained by GENs or a 7. If the problems keep appearing it may result in a rank suspension as well. It is not that hard to recheck your work before sending a new recruit to the tag. Double check your work and make sure that the person meets ALL requirements for recruitment. Especially the gamerscore (500)and friends (20 non-KSI) requirements.

-Generals must be the ones posting meeting notes. The only exception is if they are training a CPT on how to post the notes to prepare them for a GEN spot.

-Karaoke night this weekend will be streamed on Twitch. If we attain 350 viewers KSI Greg 7, our SNR Director, will be singing "I Feel Like A Woman" by Shania Twain. promote it like crazy so we can get the viewers.

-Commend LW for all the hard work. We have 2 squads looking at splits in the near future. Keep it up.

-Make sure that all game emblems are kept professional. There should be no nudity, racism or derogatory terms in them.

-Strive to make our members unpoachable. This is done by finding ways to keep the members active within the community.

-If you are approached by a random, always check mottos and bios to make sure that they are not part of a blacklisted gaming community. This will eliminate the opportunity for them to hack or poach members.

-The rank structure needs to be followed when dealing with issues. In many cases the issue can be handled within the squad and a 7 never needs to be involved. This can prevent the problem from becoming worse than it actually is.

-Generals need to be posting their squads stats and goals weekly. There is a special topic in the LW section where this can be done.
