Make sure gens are sending out regular messages and that the descriptions thing is very important to get things organised. It's very close to ps4 and Xbox 1 coming out. So we need to know who's going over. If undecided or both then write it down so you know That person has been asked and given an answer. If people don't let us know they are getting xb1/ps4 then we can't get people moved over This info is critical for squads so that 7's and generals can work together and make sure things run smoothly. Last week of divisional free for all tournament. If people wanna enter tournaments and are interested in the competitive side of KSI send them onto www.ksiweekendwarfare.org and get signed up. All officers should sign up so that we understand this. T and e ( tournament and events) staff are doing workshops to talk to gens or officers how to use the weekendwarfare site as it can be kinds complicated to use at first if you are unfamiliar with it. KSI twitch will be live streaming some competitions. Halloween competition is the best Halloween player card and some KSI stuff shall be given out. Send out messages about this tomorrow at half 12 I believe for us UK lot. 8:30 for the US lot. Check out the AAP section on the forums and vote for people. Positions are available in the various departments within KSI such as productions and news team a nd t and e and also the AAP sections. Go onto the forums and click on the various sections and apply for a position. IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING THE CHANGE IT, DON'T MOAN ABOUT IT. (Basically meaning for example if you think the YouTube channel is pants and the news articles on the forums could be better then join these various departments and work hard to change them don't just Moan about it) Also motivation is key for a squad. (Not to person hosting meeting let people know it's not hard to climb the ranks, give people examples like oh it only took me 3 week to get to SSGT or 4 weeks to get to lieutenant, make sure that people know it's not really hard to get noticed by generals, this also ties in with the if you don't like something the change it quote. There is a 5 recruit requirement per squad per week. Make sure the squads are still bringing people in even if they are hybrid squads. Make sure all squads have allocated whether they are staying on Black Ops 2 or going to Ghosts. These need to be done pronto. Members can start to be moved whenever these lists are done and looked at by the other 7’s in the div and your director. Any people on Xbox One that are ready to make the move, let your director know. There are Friday mingle nights for all people on the Xbox One hosted by Huckleberry. AAP of the year awards have been extended until December 31st, everybody please go nominate! Ghost FFA 360 3 month card and Halo Sniper team battle (no award) are the weekend warfare tournaments for this weekend. Please go and sign up on the new weekend warfare site. YouTube page is 80 members away from hitting 2000! When we hit 2000, something special will happen. We need to start using Clan wars as a competition between divisions, bringing people together and building teamwork skills. Use clan wars as a recruiting tool! Every division should be looking at using motivational tools. These goals can be set per squad and let the members achieve and strive to becoming better and better every week. The ultimate goal for each division should be making it to Flagship and then Armada. We want you guys to make your division the best in KSI. Members should request wanting to be in your division. Those on the 1 should tell their gens that they wish to switch over to a 1 squad and the gen should alert a 7 of this request. We are currently still on lockdown, so everyone should have parties and lobbies on invite only until notified otherwise. If someone you don’t know is attempting to contact you, check your messages, you should have gotten one saying who to look out for, if still not sure ask a officer if it’s a ok person. Please do not accept random friend request even if it says ksi, as it could be bills, they will use your friends list to poach. T and E survey on forums regarding on improving tournaments, so go have a looksy and make a suggestion, it can’t hurt to try. You might even see something you posted used. As for teams, KSI sinister 7 is creating a GZ headhunters team and KSI cannibal 7 is creating a GZ forge team. KSI crimson fox hosting tryouts for a swat team on Saturday at 8:30 est. The officer staff has decided that the squad should have meeting on Tuesday as well as Sunday to accommodate those who work at night during the weekends or have church. This Saturday is kill confirmed 4v4 for weekend warfare on black ops, go sign up a team, it’s the last for awhile. also tryouts for swat team has been rescheduled for this satuday at the same time for those who missed it. But mabey you don’t want to do swat, mabey you like ctf or griffball. So ask one of the officers if your not one if they want to start one up. If Generals or higher needs a break for a month or two, they can step down as advisors and then come back in their old rank or one rank below. * let's set goals for the squad that we can achieve! One the positive side, Pride has already reached the goals for new members this week, so let's keep up the great work! * Remember 7s vs viewers on Thursdays 8pm EST on twitck.tv/ksilive! Tune in to see some fun games * Weekend warfare: yesterday was Blitz on COD ghosts. The Ro Sham Bo tournament planned for last weekend has been postponed, so we'll look out for that Next weekend there'll be a minecraft build-off! Lately there has been some issues with the weekend warfare page, so if you can't sign up for things there you can always use the WW side on ksiforums.org. * There's a challenge issued by KSI Huckleberry 7 for divisions to reach 100 new members. So recruiting is good now, not only to help GZ show that we are best, but to help Pride get back on top! * Nominations for AAP of the Month for January are up, so make sure to go over to the AAP section on the forums and nominate members you think has done an outstanding job lately, in the squad and the division! * If you want footage of game-play featured in a video, KSI Mechaniic is looking for footage, there's more info on the GZ FB page. Other things to remember; * Remember the FB pages we have for KSI members, GZ and Pride. If you're not there yet, send a request to join and let me know who you are to get you set up! This is a great place both for socializing and finding out what's happening in our squad atm. * Our get-together last Thursday in match making was both fun and productive, and so we're thinking of keeping it on once a week or so. It's a great idea to socialize outside of games nights, as well as finding potential new recruits! * There has been some changes to the welcoming committee, which now consists of KSI Emmy, KSI Karma and KSI Hexon. Minecraft tourney coming up, each squad will be given a seed to work on.
