  4. That actually sounds pretty cool. we would have to spread the word so people will play arcade and then the leader will change. otherwise only a few people will be getting them and their awards page will fill up quick lol

  7. so if not Bright Idea, i bet it fits this one: Master Recruiter - * Recruited 100 or more members into KSI or has Aided-/-Supervised the Recruitment. It definately makes me fit that description!
  8. Then you better adjust what the award says that it is for. I seriously doubt it is just for nominating only, otherwise everyone would flood the AAP with bogus nominations just to get this award, hence the second half of the criteria.

There was not a training curriculum that told a member what to say and how to say it. that didn't exist. and there certainly was not one that benefited MOST of KSI. maybe a rough guideline here and there per division, but one that was across most of KSI and as complete? Apparently what i wrote is/was such a good idea that is went farther than ever. The idea was for there to be a comprehensive guide that ANY member, regardless of level of knowledge, could take and use to effectively and properly recruit. Show me one that did it as well and as completely before mine. I also find it curious that a recent modified version of "Game Night" got a yes from all of you for Bright Idea, without any hesitation, but a complete reworking of the recruiting process that had been effectively improving KSI for almost a year is getting a no. As well as a radio station idea that doesn't even encompass KSI as completely. If you are going to have a standard, then keep it the same. Hot Topic has to be a no though because none of the postings reached the "Hot" status...

  11. Yes to Outstanding Service and Member Assistance. If we can get witnesses for how this weekly game night is different from normal weekly game nights, then I will give a yes for Bright Idea, until then no.

  13. Bruins and Para, I love you guys, but this is not the place to have a conversation about when awards will be published. Please refrain from posting unless you are a witness or AAP staff.
  14. Yes for Hot Topic, Ace for Donor. No to Bright Idea until we see stats or hear from witnesses to show how the KSI radio improved much of KSI, as opposed to a select few members.
  15. watching THREE members of the AAP either MISQUOTE or completely ignore the definitions next to awards is, to say the least, upsetting and quite shocking. "Hot Topic - * Make a topic on the forums that Became a Hot Topic (this only applies to topics that are used to better KSI and is given out at the discretion of the AAP). Squad chats and Spam Threads Dont count." "Bright Idea - * A KSI member Has an idea used that Improves KSI. (must actualy be used, and creditable proof provided)" I got THREE yes's for Hot Topic, which NONE of the guides ever achieved, because they are standards and are LOCKED to prevent other members from messing up. I got THREE no's for Bright Idea, because it is claimed that the idea wasn't "New", which is NOT in the definition. So, three of you are giving yes's on a failed meeting of criterea for an award, and no's on a NONEXISTANT criteria for an award... You are why I joined the AAP, just so you know. The Idea is the method presented in the Guide. There was NOTHING like it when i wrote it. The method is used across a vast portion of the population of KSI and offers a set, effective method for members that did not exist before. Period. That is the Bright Idea that i was nominated for because it improved KSi and has done for since I created it almost a year ago. Clearly, there are three members of the AAP that need to take a look through the requirements for awards before they EVER vote again.

  18. It is not an old car with paint. Read the document. It is a step by step method that can be quoted VERBATIM and is extremely different than telling people to read the code of conduct as a recruitment speech. Take the time to read the document and understand what it does for a new member that may be nervous about recruiting and how to do it correctly. Maybe for you veterans it seems like old scratch, but to a member that has a lower amount of experience - it is a godsend. It is more than just a code of conduct. It is a defined way to explained it. It is a time saver for leaders as well. It has spread throughout KSI because it is a better, more efficient, more productive, and NEW way to handle recruitment and that standard. It may not be a "bright idea" for the old guys like us, but for the newer members and for the leaders that must lead them, it is certainly a bright idea. it is the body of an old car, completely revamped within and designed for anyone from a child to an old person to drive safely. That is why it is a bright idea.
  19. Trainer and Mentor, I am a witness to that being a yes. As far as recruiter goes, he and i have talked alot about it and he said that he has finally hit 100 recruits. Given his tendency to be honest, I believe him.
