All Divisions and Squads are apart of clan ops with all associated ranks including the supervisory roles of Directors and Senior Directors. Making up the core of the community the majority of all members throughout Web ops and Dept. ops all either still reside or began in clan ops. It is the building blocks of all current and future leaders among this community.

A KSI member: NEVER LEAVES ANOTHER KSI MEMBER BEHIND. All members have an “Open Door Policy” to speak with Leaders on any issues or with any ideas. But still impress the responsibility to report to the appropriate leaders within the KSI Chain of Command. A KSI member takes pride in his or her membership and is encouraged but not forced to change their gamer tag to reflect KSI. KSI members must maintain a professional manner and attitude during play as well as within lobby, party and KSI based chats in order to represent KSI as a positive gaming community. By allowing the youth of Xbox live gamers to enter the community it will in turn give them an insight to basic management skills and developing leadership traits. If a Division does not want any members younger than a specified age to join **example: one Division has minimum age of 17** Then They must have another Division to be able to hand off the member to, in order to not leave any member behind.
    Recruiting:
Recruitment is encouraged in this community to keep it forever expanding. Bringing in new people to experience all that KSI is and what KSI offers, from education and real world leadership experience and training to web development, graphics design, productions, journalism and Weekly tournaments. Most importantly the ability to meet and greet with thousands of like-minded people and develop friendships and a second family.
Recruiting made easy: Enter a game solo or with a team online, talk in the lobby and meet your fellow team members. Play by the Code of Conduct and represent KSI positively to the fullest. During the match, communicate with the non-community gamers in a positive attitude as well as your fellow community members to encourage interest in KSI. Joke around and have fun while playing. If you enjoy someones’ personality and they seem interested ask some questions, get to know one another. Give them an add and gauge them to see if they would be a good fit for this community. (Remember never recruit someone if you do not wish to be around them) If they decided they would like to just hang around a bit, feel free to invite them to game nights and some more match making. If they are or become interested in joining then go into “The Recruitment Process”

K.S.I. Does have multiple inner-community competitive teams.
CoC#4: Leaders within KSI are responsible for the organization of all squad matches and practices; Maintaining professional game play during squad matches, as well as oversight and evaluation of performance and behavior of lower ranking members
A Head Hunters team will consist of 8 members ranked off their skill level 1-8. This will be based off 3 rounds, FFA game type, MLG or Tournament style rules. The ranks will be based on kill count and K/D spread. The ranks will be the deciding factor on what number the member is on a HH team. At all times the uniform for a HH member should be KSI Shadow DL (rank) then (HH ranking). Once a month the HH members will do another head to head against each other to determine if their numbers change. So with that you can be HH8 one month but be HH1 the next month depending upon how you place in the ranks for the monthly head to head. This is to ensure all members keep their skills sharp and are always trying to better themselves.

    Division and Squad splits
The Goal of KSI is to regularly give as many deserving members a chance at leadership. With a finite amount of leadership positions within the community the best way to grow our leader base is to grow our community base.
A Standard Squad Generally consists of anywhere from 30 to 120 members. Each with a maximum of 13 officers. 4 Staff Sgts, 4 Let’s, 4 Captains and 1 General. Generally once a squad begins passing the 80 member mark the general, officers and Co Founder will begin discussing a split. “Splitting” is the act of taking anywhere from 30 to 50 percent of the squad and creating a new one, moving up all leaders that are able and sets to fill in some of the newly voided positions.
A Standard Division Ranges from 2 to 10 squads, generally maxing out at 600 members. A split is eligible when all leadership positions of Co-Founder, Founder, Co Division and Division leaders fully staffed and trained and the division is at minimum 400 members with a squad average of 60 members and fully trained leaders. When beginning preparation of a split all divisional leaders must begin discussing the future with the director and senior directors of the community. Generally anywhere from 30 to 50 percent of the squads will split into the new division with some of the co-founders and the founder becoming the highest rank and “Founding” the division.
The goal of any split whether Squad or division is to do it when the area is stable enough, has the correct amount of members and leaders, and when it is stable enough to handle the influx of change. All guidelines are just that; it is most important to make these big moves and decisions when the areas can handle it.
Divisions and squads should vet G14 prior to moving forward with a split, inactive members and non-invested members will only hinder the process and leave the areas in a difficult position to begin with.
    Armada/flagship/fleet
Fleet, Flagship and Armada are all benchmarks that any and all divisions can reach and should strive for. Below is a description of requirements to reach specific standards

When taking a LoA a member needs to inform their leaders as to when and why they are requesting an LoA. They should not be denied however abuse of the system can and will result in the removal of the leader from their position.
Definition of the Adviser role in clan ops
This position is given to those Co-founders and above who need a term of leave because of rare or unexpected circumstances (Financial Issues, Relocation, etc)
    Requirements:
To keep your rank of Adviser you can’t be gone from KSI for more than a month’s time unless it is because of medical leave.
    Duties:

This position isn’t given to a member without the approval of a Division Leader or higher. At that point of successful reinstatement the member will be eligible to either retain his previous rank, drop down to the next available rank, or in some cases move up one rank (moving up one rank will be held to the discretion of a Senior Director).
If an Adviser is gone for more than a month’s time, KSI has the right to remove the member from the Adviser role and set the member to return as a SGT.

    KSI Forums
    www.ksiforums.org
This is the main website used by KSI for a multitude of purposes. The main reason for this site is to establish a line of communication for all KSI members to use outside of Xbox Live, but is not limited to that single purpose as the forums are also used for events, streams, division transfers, and joining/rejoining KSI. This site also contains an archived history of events, meeting notes, and KSI knowledge for all members to utilize
    Properly utilizing the forums
www.ksiforums.org, A place for both social and business related interactions to be made on behalf of KSI. KSI Clan Management System
A system used for the organization and evaluation of clan ops used by all clan ops leaders. This site organizes and labels every member in clan ops, and is the most accurate and up to date source for leaders to use regarding the management of KSI on Xbox Live.
    Department Operations
    What is Department Operations?
Department Operations is the sphere of KSI that involves groups of community members who work together to improve the comprehensive community feel that KSI strives for.
Through the AAP, Tournaments and Events, Productions, Graphics, and News, every willing member of the community can reap the rewards of the products each respective department provides.
Through Human Resources, Education, and the Courts, KSI’s Clan Operations are supplemented with knowledge and guidelines that help the community move forward together.
Department Operations provides a bridge from Clan Operations to Web Operations that strengthens involvement and enjoyment in the community.
Department Operations is constantly reviewing the strength of these programs and looking for possible expansion to better meet the members’ needs. Such projects include Marketing, History, and Social Media outreach
    How to join a Department
Added to the website in 2016, the Department Join Area is the central hub for all interested applicants to research and apply for membership in KSI’s Departments.
The URL is http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/316-join-a-department/. There you will find links to each department’s forums section and a list of Heads, Co-Heads, and Points of Contact.
Some departments are open permanently, and some departments are only open on an as-needed basis. Permanent openings are listed in pinned threads that are pinned and denoted with asterisks for members to copy and paste the form for their application.
As-needed openings are posted intermittently and ask for members to reply directly to the opening in the thread. These topics will not be pinned.
Regardless of which opening a member is applying for, a Head or Co-Head will review the application and get with the applicant in a timely fashion.
Heads and Co-Heads reserve the right to deny applications based on skill or demeanor, past behaviors or actions, or time requirements. Time requirements refer only to being able to fulfill responsibilities within a given time. Some departments require more intensive involvement than others, and a hectic real life, or other KSI obligations, may result in you being unable to join that department at a given time
    Benefits of joining a Department
A community like KSI is more than just gaming. While everything KSI does revolves around Xbox and the gaming aspect, departments provide outlets for members to put their skills to the test and have fun exploring different interests.
The reward of learning how to better use Photoshop, teaching KSI’s next crop of leaders, providing stories and interviews about other members, hosting workshops, and so much more, is hard to quantify.
However, it does make members feel more personally involved in KSI and allows members to spread their wings and have fun without fear of judgment or alienation.
You will meet new people, develop new skills, and see a side of KSI that is different from the experience most see.
    Descriptions for each Department
    News
News Team is responsible for tapping the pulse of the community. No news outlet can provide information tailored to the community quite like our own team.
Writers are encouraged to interact with members of the community to find intriguing and compelling stories about individuals, groups, squads, or divisions that exemplify the KSI way.
Staff members are also asked to think outside the box for creative stories and pieces that KSI’s member base would find interesting. These pieces may be opinion pieces, game reviews, surveys, etc.
All articles produced by KSI News are published on KSI’s News Site, which is listed below this description.
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/19-news/
    http://www.ksiglobal.org
    History
As of early 2017, KSI’s History Team is also under the news umbrella. History writers explore the sequence of KSI events, both from divisional and personal perspectives.
These biographies are published to the News Site as well, and piece together an intricate tapestry of KSI’s history.
Staff are encouraged to think outside the box and be creative. Writing and telling stories of history can be exciting and should be explored.
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/285-ksi-history-team/
    Productions
Productions is part of KSI’s multimedia umbrella, along with News, History, and Graphics. Within this department, members can explore the possibilities of live-streaming events to sites such as Twitch, editing together montages and clip packages, working with software to create intros and outros that will be used in videos and much more.
The team is also comprised of staff who create long-standing shows and podcasts for KSI’s members to enjoy. Such shows are either streamed on Twitch, or previously recorded, and exported to YouTube, which is linked below.
Productions is also the basis for KSI’s monthly Town Hall and weekly Happy Hour shows.
Staffs come from inside and outside of KSI’s Clan-Ops. Those involved in KSI’s Clan Ops are able to stream interviews, game play, and game nights involving their divisions, allowing a spotlight to be shined brightly on their members and activity.
The team also runs contests such as the Upload Studio Montage Competition, which runs monthly and allows those who don’t have recording and editing software to put together montages that compete to be displayed on our YouTube channel.
The team also solicits short, interesting clips that can be passed along to KSI’s Social Media so those clips can be uploaded onto the community’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Productions are committed to providing content the community can enjoy both on and off of Xbox.

    Graphics
KSI’s Graphics team provides image and logo editing and design for the benefit of our members. The team takes requests for banners, awards, logos, images, avatars and much more to provide images our members can utilize to show off their KSI pride.
The team works heavily with other departments to provide image services to their projects, as well as with Web Ops to keep our forums looking sharp.
The team is also dedicated to training and teaching interested members how to improve with a variety of products, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Applicants will have tutorials and guides to follow and experts to give them pointers along the way.

    AAP
KSI’s Awards and Achievements Program (AAP) seeks to promote a positive and rewarding atmosphere within KSI by standardizing a process to request, nominate, and receive awards.
The department’s award listing is ever-expanding, and members are encouraged to post in AAP’s Forums section to take advantage of KSI’s awards system.
AAP is a central foundation to KSI’s believe that members should be awarded based on the merit of their contributions to the community.
The Department also supports monthly and yearly goals and achievements by offering Of the Month and Of the Year awards.
The OTMs represent KSI’s very best at varying ranks and positions for each month. The OTYs are reviewed, and presented by, KSI’s Board of Directors at the annual KSI Awards Show in early January to celebrate those who excelled over the past year.
Whether the award is for having a high Gamerscore, being a mentor to members in the community, or going above and beyond to make KSI as great as it is, there are many award options for the members of this community.
Also within AAP is the Divisional Milestone Program, which seeks to apply the award system that’s been established to our divisions.
Awards in here involve splitting the division, having a certain amount of KSI gamer-tags, and winning a certain amount of Head-Hunters games.
The AAP is open to requests from KSI’s member base as to what awards should be added for both individual awards and DMP awards.
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/82-aap/
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/230-divisional-milestone-program/
    Tournaments and Events
KSI’s Tournaments and Events (T&E) provides a competitive gaming atmosphere to KSI’s casual environment. The team plans and executes weekly Weekend Warfare events that all of KSI’s members can compete in.
The team works with other KSI departments, such as Productions to have the events streamed, and AAP, to have winners of the events awarded for their accomplishments.
The team is open to recommendations and suggestions as to new tournament ideas and plans to improve its’ reach within the community.
The staff also assists the Board of Directors in executing KSI’s large annual events, such as Spring Break, Spirit Week, Fall Classic, and Turkey Bowl.
Members are asked to be creative and competitively inclined. They must be available to host events and make sure they go off without a hitch. They will have to execute decision making skills to mediate disagreements and adapt to obstacles on the fly. http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/164-tourneys-and-events/
    Education
KSI’s Education department is dedicated to helping mold the next great leaders of this community. Lessons from this department go far beyond an Xbox or a keyboard.
Educations L.E.A.D. program teaches members of every rank how to be better leaders. While there may appear to be some overlap between Education and Human Resources, Education focuses more on general leadership while Human Resources focuses on applications of leadership to KSI’s ideals and tenets.
LEAD programs are offered frequently by KSI’s Director Staff, and feature a 101 and a 201 course, both of which take several weeks to complete.
These programs will help KSI’s members become more level-headed, well-rounded, confident leaders.
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/64-lead/
    Human Resources
KSI’s Human Resources comprises HR and the KSI Courts.
HR is comprised of Senior Staff, who can be in or out of KSI Clan Ops, and staff made up of KSI’s Co-Founders.
Co-Founders on the staff are expected to take courses on KSI protocol and procedures about recruiting, training, and safety, and pass that knowledge off the leaders and officers at the squad level within their respective divisions.
Training standards gained from HR workshops improve the level of knowledge within KSI’s squads and divisions, and will make the next crop of leaders more in-tune with expectations and guidelines within the community.
Couple that training with the leadership advancement training Education’s LEAD program provides, and KSI’s knowledge base will be strong for years to come.
Resources and guidance are posted in HR’s forums section, which is linked below.
    http://www.ksiforums.org/forum/326-human-resources/
    Courts
The KSI Court system provides a series of checks and balances on KSI’s leadership team.
Members who have been given Blacklists or Do Not Hire statuses can appeal these decisions in KSI’s Court system.
They may call in witnesses and bring their case for a reduction in penalty, or a complete pardon of the decision. All members of the Courts are below the rank of Senior Director, so that decisions may be reached impartially based on evidence given.
This department allows staff to exercise sound judgment and interpret KSI’s rules and guidelines to make KSI not only a safe place, but a fair and balanced one.
    Definition of Court Related Terms

This method of removal should only be used if members are socializing with Black listed persons or Clans-/-Communities or have made threats against KSI or its running or other equally questionable actions.

Reasoning why they deserve this -
Ronin has so much presence in this community. He is active, he is available, he is reliable. Ronin goes out of his way to make sure people know who he is, whether that is through Spirit Week, being on the twitch channel, hanging out in parties, going to random gamenights. He is always full of advice and feedback, with an answer to every question. Ronin has been here since dinosaurs roamed the Earth, so he simply must know what he is talking about.

First responder. Something bad happens, he is the first one there. He is the first one to communicate about an issue. He is always helping other members in need. Sinz is the ideal Lieutenant in any squad. Not only is he knowledgeable, he is personable and efficient. Sinz' name is known throughout this community because he actively goes out of his way to appreciate KSI as a community, rather than just simply EO.

Reasoning why they deserve this -
Spirit Week has always been a cluster. Each year, it gets easier, but BadKitty and her T&E staff did a wonderful job this year (it's not that the other departments didn't, T&E just has most of the responsibility). Everything was on time, everything was moderated. Although BadKitty had a lot going on - clan-ops, forums, T&E - she was still such a prominent member in Spirit Week to win QUEEN. So all hail the queen!

Wow. So, Spirit Week is over. Yet little did everyone know that December was behind most of News' success in covering Spirit Week. He was online for every event, available for advice and feedback, and ensured each and every article was posted flawlessly. He has been the ideal news member from the day that he joined, but only recently had the chance to show that off to this community. He was the biggest help this week and even this entire month with his dedication to our members.

Basically, we would play a variety of games but Halo would be our main. Maybe it would band people together considering I think it would run very smoothly with the staff I provided. Each squad be organized by all of them requiring a spreadsheet to keep count of their members and we would also host plenty of joint game nights to make recruits feel welcome. We will also host competitions on every aspect such as recruiting and certain game nights for xbox gift card codes just so all of our members stay active and the top officers of each squad would receive gift cards as well. We would take the few elite people to go an enter in esport tournaments. Also, all officers will be trained in all forum award related workshops. It might be a little bit of a stretch but I think it would be cool to have a division on that.

Reasoning why they deserve this - Ever since Primal was promoted to Co-Fo he has done nothing but excelled. Primal will be the first person to jump into your party to help you with an issue no matter how big or small, Primal is a prime example of the open door policy. Primal has been one of my personal mentors due to the fact that he has brought me back from the darkness and made me want to be a better leader and hopefully become a 7 one day. Primal is always playing with all the members of EO no matter the game he will always come and hang out even if he doesn't have the game or will jump on a game like R6 that he very much dislikes if we need one more. I have never seen a member so willing to go out of his way to make members feel welcomed here. I truly believe Primal deserves this award.

This young lady has shown us all in EO what it means to be a captain.. She excels in every position she has ever been in and never ceases to amaze me. Her attention to detail and extensive record keeping and list compiling is insanity! She is a clerical try hard with a keen eye for observing and leading the other officers in the right direction, she does everything shes asked and even goes beyond that by doing more then i ever expect her to do. Shes reinvented and revived some gamenight ideas and has the passion to bring happiness and meaning to everyone who joins KSI, truly a captain of the month and a leader in KSI

Wyte has shown so much dedication to being the best officer he can, going thru a massive dry streak with officer potential has only shown me the true potential i already have in my staff and wyte is without a doubt one of those prime officers. He has taken so much of his personal time just to make sure our very large squad gets the attention it needs and stil finds time to recruit more members! Hes a one man wrecking ball crew and i can always rely on his eagerness, confidence and motivational attitude when i need a job done. He will be a future leader in KSI i have no doubts about it. Since day one of joining KSI hes been involved in gamenights, workshops and meetings, eager to host them all. He brings a strict and professional twist to my squad and i wouldnt have it any other way. Lieutenant otm all the way

This dudes a monster! He has always been the go to guy in EO for recruits to officers, always having all kinds of ppl in his parties because everyone knows its going to be a good time. Also holding the recruit tag hes diligent and professional keeping it cleaned up constantly and staying in contact with every squad to ensure it stays that way. The efficiency for pvt training has no doubt increased since he became holder of the tag and alot of that has to do with the way ppl react to this man. They expect the best and he gives it to them.

Reasoning why they deserve this - Grim has taken EO on his back and helped grow EO to where it is today. Even to this day Grim is very much involved in squads and helps throughout the division. He also impresses me with how calm and collected he is with stressful situations and how he manages everything in a professional manner.

Reasoning why they deserve this - This man is probably one of the best Recruit tagholders i have ever seen. Not only does he manage the tag incredibly well he also manages to spread his time throughout every single squad we have in EO (6). Hes always got pvts and cpls and sgts in his parties and they literally flock to him because of his knowledge and hes just a fun guy to be around.

Reasoning why they deserve this - Since becoming co fo ive never seen a co fo have to become acting gen more then guyy/ And then take that squad flip it around and make them so successful. Guyy has done nothing but be a mentor to future officers and push for success and be the prime example of success!

Reasoning why they deserve this - Ever since i have become acting Gen of rogue i have done nothing but see this young lady grow within KSI. She has a renewed since of drive and motivation and it spreads throughout the entire squad. She is the first to step in and start setting the example and first to own up to her mistakes. No task is too big or too little for her to handle and im glad to see the success the squad has gotten from that.
