Spam area brought many people to the forums and stayed interested. If we were to post to our div chats and squad chats we would all be talking to the same people as we do online. The spam area is for everyone in KSI to chat and spam with each other. Damn I met some people that now our on my friends list from other divisions. And just by talking and spamming with each other we connected. I believe it's a great way to interact with each others and get to know other parts of KSI other then the Part your in. I think I speak for many too. Therefore I believe it is a key incential to the forums. Hey if I may add a suggestion, you can most definitely post in other divisions to meet people. I have done that and met a lot of people that way. Also, try the general chat as well. It's so underused. One of the members in my squad created this topic if you're interested. Anyways, I've been here almost a year now,and this is the third time it's happened? the thing that pissed me off was they took our time online away. I was hucking close to 20 days and the richard punches took it all away. Now my time online doesn't get counted because I do this on my smart phone. Trust me if it counted I'd Be in the top 5. And this is one of the most ignorant things I think I've heard yet. Case closed huh? Yeah I don't think so. If KSI Global wants to maintain it wants more members on the forums and their not getting that, why would anybody be interested in putting their time in to this when they do want to be in the first place, especially when their efforts don't count? Per the CoC this is a place where members can come to meet the other 5100+ members we harbor on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, but now if they socialize on the forums it don't count? So they do just that, and certainly a whole hell of a lot than I ever asked of them and were going to punish them? Yeah that's real brilliant buddy, get the hell out of here with bull spit. I don't take away from my time gaming training people on the forums for my members to be kicked around. I still give them kudos for their valiant efforts and energy they put into this. Since you seem to be speaking about things that you think me and my team have done let me correct you. No one took your time online. That's not something we do, and if we were to do it, we would have to go into the user tables(server) to do it. What happened, which has happened to me on the old forums, and i lost 250 days on the forums....When we upgrade IPB, which is the forums software we use, some times the time online is reset. Now as for socializing on the forums, pretty sure your post count has absolutely nothing to do with or is stopping anyone from doing that. The spam area has never counted on the 3 years this site has been up, until I tried to do something nice for the members and let it count a few months ago. Which i only did so people would get the groups quicker. But then members(not me or my staff) started to express how they felt people were abusing the spam area, so I made changes to rectify the situation. There is a topic posted in the spam area that explains all of this if you like to read it. Next time i would appreciate it if you actually take the time to do some research aka ask one of the forum staff(not worstplayer) before you assume we are out to get you. Hope you have a nice day. Alot of stuff said last night was misinterpreted last night, and I wasn't speaking on your behalf or your team so. I went off what I knew and understood from various conversations with other leaders and staff members. No one really explained the time issue but to be honest I didn't really care. I've been here almost a year now and in that time it's always counted for me, but I never really used it much just here and there to waste some time. I mean come on really? if he's so seasoned to the forums seems like a common sense thing to do right? but especially with this over drawn debate it's a challenge to get ppl on here in the first place, I really don't care to force ppl on here when they don't want to be anymore. especially when they're going to get hassled by gens and what not outside the div. like I said it was a General conversation blown out of proportion. I noticed I was removed from the Semi-Pro forums group but others who's post counts are lower than mine still remain in their previous forum group.
