Division Leader Meeting Notes August 27, 2014

1. This week’s Weekend Warfare will be Titanfall 4v4 on XBOX ONE Saturday at 8pm est Aug 30th! Come one, come ALL and support the live stream & productions. If you haven't already followed us on twitch, you SHOULD so you know when we go live every time! www.twitch.tv/KSILIVE

2. What is fluff? Have this conversation with your members explain it in detail and also show your leadership what to do about removal. The process of mitigating fluff should be the same throughout all the squads in your division, and in whole, across all KSI. Whether your Gens are trained up or not, refresh all those with G14 access to make sure you all are on the same page.

3. Remember that school is starting and activity is going to drop some but to stay on top of the fluff, 7 days message, 14 days removal with message, squad tag match up bi-weekly.

4. Remember to PLAY with everyone and don’t allow cliques or clusters to form in your squads, have gamenights and include everyone in your squad and division.

5. Communication! Communication! Communication! Communicate what your division is doing. Continue to send mass messages, invites, positive messages etc! When squads, divisions and/or leaders become quiet, things tend to go wrong soon after. Communicate what's going on - good bad great ugly. Be open and honest to the team!

6. Meeting Notes - Getting better but not all squads are meeting the standard. Just give a friendly reminder so we have an outstanding week of detailed notes posted on time and lets keep THAT up and make that the norm/standard as it should be.

- This week on 7s vs Viewers will be on Ghosts (360) Friday at 7:30 pm EST.  Start sending messages TODAY!

 

- Now that we're off lockdown, lets remain vigilant about who's in our parties, but also kick back and relax some and be more sociable.  Be approachable and allow members to spend some time with ya.

 

- Don't forget to explain the position to the person being promoted to include any accesses they may have (i.e. g14, squad tag, etc). 

 

- We are below 5000 but we are ok as long as we are working on true numbers, and getting active members. The goal (6000) is still attainable in the 4 month period.  This is a GOAL.  Don't get number crazy because we have a number goal.  Relax, play the games, talk to the lobbies, pull in quality recruits and keep it moving.  Retention of your members go a LONG way in reaching this goal and creating a positive stable gaming community because of what it takes to retain members ~ FUN ~ POSITIVE ATMOSPHERE ~ APPROACHABLE LEADERS ~ ISSUES SOLVED ~ COHESION ~ and more.

 

- Productions Team is always looking for clips (funny, fails, bamf, awesome shots, or solid gameplay) and NEW MEMBERS!  If you have a capture card or have editing ability by all means come talk to us!

-Message KSI Synthanx if you are interested in joining Headhunters.  Headhunters is a friendly competitive system of teams from divisions that can go against each other. 

 

-Parties no longer need to be closed.  They can now be left open, but be aware of who is in your party.

Division Notes

1. Still trying to get 7s to post up in the thread for their history in KSI her on forums

 

2. Fuzzy is asking for all the divisions to set goals that are achievable and not the minimum.

 

3. The quiz system is up and running here on the forums for those divisions using the testing systems for promotions.  All other systems should not be used.

 

4. Everyone needs to get with all members in their squad and find out which games and consoled they will be having and get that info to the generals.

 

5. Every division is allowed to try and set up a destiny squad BUT MUST GET WITH DIRECTORS AND SENIOR DIRECTORS FIRST.

 

6. There will be a g14 and squad tag training class for all gens and sevens in each division hosted by your director.  It will be a thorough class so expect it to take some time.

 

7. Leaders list must be updated ASAP.  In fact, at this point, we as the directors and senior have decided that you must update seniors list by the 15'th of each month.

-CoD: Advanced Warfare ELITE/Global Clan- Need to get the divs locked on with creating their AW clans on the app and with the respective leaders to manage the clan. Only have a few days until the clan war kicks off and we want KSI to be on top.  Get the APP for you mobile device and tablet and lets get this going!

 

-How is Fluff training going?  Remember that it was put out some time ago and needs to come full circle.  After div 7's are refreshed on defluffing, they need to train Gens.

Upper Leadership notes:

 

G14 has been updated. The blacklisted clan/community list is now down to 2. This doesnt mean that previously blacklisted clans or communities should be allowed on friendslist, they just havent caused any problems as or recently and that is why they have been removed from the list. Leaders should explain which communities are not officially blacklisted but should still not be on lists, remember they were blacklisted for a reason.

In addition to the cleanup of the blackilisted clans area, a new threat level has been added in the blacklisted members area. The new level is for members Security Risked by the Senior Directors only, these members are a Community Wide Security Risk. The new levels are as follows;

Lvl 1- DnH (Do Not Hire)
Lvl 2- Blacklisted
Lvl 3- Security Ricked

KSI does not and has not ever allowed boosting. This is really important that as a community we do not allow this kind of thing to happen not just because we could end up in a video like the above but because it is cheating. Our Code of Conduct does not allow us to manipulate or modify gameplay and boosting falls into that category.

Give Officers reposibilities in their squads

Captains:
Run team in the squad, they do not have to be the team Captain but could help organize team activities such as practices and squad matches or scrimmages.
Captains should have every PVT, CLP and up on their lfriends lists.

Lieutenants:
Organize Daily activities in the squad whether it be in a party, gamenight or matchmaking. The important thing is to pull members from the squad together, making sure everyone feels welcomed and involved.

New Co Founders/ Founders:
When connecting with a new squad(s), He or She should retrain the officer staff(s) (Not talking about workshops) by asking basic questions. Make sure they are doin things the way Divisions/ KSI does things.
Example; How do they recruit? How is the recruit training? Mix in some basic questions and quiz them without it being a quiz (if that makes sense)

All current sevens need to remove their gold accounts from the squad tags. That is all squad tags no current 7s should b on any squad tags if you have a silver account as a seven you can have that on the tags.

join Section: we need all sevens in a division to be looking at the join Section. With that said scarecrow saying that only one representative from each division with level 3 access on g14 will be the only person allowed to post as to if the division is wanting said members or not. We will have a list placed in the leaders section of forums. With that being said if there is more information that you as a seven want to post the info it must be done professionally no "dirty laundry" will be put in this section if you have information post a statement like "I have more info on this said member and if you wish you can pm me on the forums or get with me on xbox. Keep it professional.

Division notes:Make sure all your members that have G14 access are logging into their G14 every day or every other day remember that if a member with G14 access doesn't log onto their G14 for 7 days their access to G14 will be removed.
