FI Division: Present and Future Divisional Security We have been dealing with a lot since June with TSB and XDG. This is a reminder that we are still on lockdown and that all recruits need to be cleared by the 7s. We, Velocity, will be getting our recruits cleared by KSI Airborne 7. If he is unavailable then find another 7 that is available. In other words, have them add the 7s as well to have access to the friends list Discord links will only be issued by the 7s to prevent any unwanted people from joining our server. As of right now, all recruits must have a minimum of a 1000 gamerscore. Numbers Even though we were poached of about 11 members last month, we still managed to bring in 13-15 people. HUGE shoutout to KSI Rockdogg for finding recruits for Velocity after our big hit! Recruiting Standards This is not mandatory, but find potential recruits in the older group. This does not mean that our current members are bad members. Past issues and if any current issues persist, FI amy raise the age limit. We ask that y’all play with potential recruits to get a feel of them before asking them to join. Activity We are looking for more activity amongst SGTs. Reach out and talk to SGTs about being involved and helping them get involved. If you have a recruit, pull one in and have them do the recruiting process while you are there to guide them if they need help. Forums Activity We had 12-13 nominations in the OTM with our winners being: KSI Blicky 7 for CoFo OTM, KSI GreendayFox for Department Member OTM, and KSI BadKitty 7 for Director OTM. We have our Divisional OTMs coming up where 7s will be posting on y’all. We want to see more members on the forums page. There is a shoutbox where you can talk to any member across divs, there are departments you can join, our own Divisional chat and everything you need to find under Forced Inductions section. If you need to put a Leave of Absence, there is an LOA section to submit. This is necessary if you are going to be away from your xbox for more than 5 days. Workshops We need to get members to be attending workshops. They will be hosted on a weekly basis. Keep an eye out for them on the forums or in the announcements area. Contest FOR ALL PVTS AND CPLS: Write a response to “Why you believe you would be a great future leader in KSI” to win a free name change. Top two winners will win a free name change! This new div-based HoF will act similar to the OTMs and will take place during and leading up to Spring Break and Fall Classic. Each division can have up to 3 members inducted into the HoF per event at a maximum per the AAPs discretion. A forums topic will be created within the next 2 weeks for people to go nominate their choices for Div HoF inductees. There will be a format posted in the topic that all nominations must follow, and each nominator may only nominate one person from the division. The first inductions will be announced the last day of fall classic. Nominations will begin August 20th and last until mid - September. Fall Classic Fall Classic is right around the corner! While still in charge of recording divisional and members histories, new responsibilities have been added. The History, Statistics & Information Department section - or HSI - can be found in the new Information area of the forums, alongside the new Community Information Center. Starting this month, the HSI Department will be recognizing the members of the community who go above and beyond when recruiting. We will be cataloguing the top 3 recruiters from each division and publishing a “Top Recruiters” article each month. Keeping everyone in the loop while also keeping issues at the right leadership level to deal with it. Another important part of this is always approaching the leaders in your chain first before approaching anyone involved or anyone else, this prevents spreading of rumors, and lets leadership control the narrative so that no false information is circulated.
