So it came to my attention that there is hardly an communication going on in Vulcan and they havent had a squad meeting in the past 2 months

Well i dnt like the idea of merging hyperion into tempest since one is blops2 squad and the other is ghost. I can see merging into vulcan though but neither squad has a strong and active leader

i was playing ghosts with Vulcan guys a few days ago they have been doing clan wars so i thought that they were.

A squad can have dual gametypes.  It's been done plenty of times in the past and has proven to do well.  Just have to make sure squad meeting is available to all squad members and Gen has both games.

I'm a little upset by how many xbox one start up squads there are.  Too many imo.  To foster the growth of the xbox one side of the house, I think it would behoove all of KSI to strategically place members in stronger squads.  In fact, there was a time where it was just going to be 3 xbox one squads and have all others transfer into them.  IO, WI, and FI were the divs with the stronger xbox one squads...still are.  We'll see how this plays out, but if you begin to see a decline in activity, lack in leadership, no growth, things of that nature, it's time to salvage what we have and ship them over to a stronger squad.  I'm hoping for the best here in FG with this squad, but always have a plan for the worst.

Thanks for inviting me here.  I'm all about collaboration and I hope yall don't mind getting input from me.  Back when I was Gen, Founder, and Div Leader I honestly could care less about what the Dir said.  I simply didn't need them.  The way yall are running things, as long as you can get FG to become a more cohesive group, this can and will become a powerhouse division and really take over.  I won't tell you how to run your div, but I think it always helps to have a little different perspective on some things --- good idea on the leaders chat thread.  Helps to have Poop on the forums so we can refer back to it.  Kik and skype can get confusing and lost in translation. Don't have that problem here.

The biggest thing the Dirs are concerned about these days is training and retention of members.  We haven't had LEAD courses because it's evident that not everyone is on the same page.  As Jess stated in the LEAD section in response to someone, the LEAD courses aren't to teach someone how to do their job but to expand on the base knowledge to better groom them to become a more effective leader.  Training also plays into the idea of the newly proposed Sgt promotion requirement.... making that mandatory would hopefully mean a stronger base group of individuals at the lower end of the totem pole (not my idea, but it's likely reasoning behind it).  If training is/was on point, that idea never would've flourished and LEAD courses would be a regular thing.  

 

* Fallen, I'm sure you already know wassup with Ghost KSI (...very recently....).  Members come and go, but it doesn't help things when there are correctable issues within the division.  Furthermore, it makes things harder with folks like Ghost KSI (aka "Bill's KSI) trying to poach members, or embed themselves here to spread propaganda.  With some things going on over there...it may mean more security issues later down the road for us.  Stay vigilant.  Having a cohesive division helps combat against poachers and well trained staff helps defend against ppl ghosting in our community.

first thing first docness is that I (and im sure other FG 7's)welcome your input and advice I believe that for us to become more cohesive we 7's should be getting together as a group more often,I find things move a little slower than needed,we have three squads that are running very smoothly and the others really need some structure,we need some good active GEN's on top of more structure and activity from us toward them,I would like us ALL to get together and figure out what we can do with these other squads,they deserve our attention We used to be the Div that everyone wanted to join lets get back to that status again    FG  FTW !!!!!!!!!   LETS GET HYPED GUYS!! I LOVE KSI AND I LOVE FG!! SO LETS SHOW OUR LOVE AND MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!!!!

we will be getting a 7's meeting tonight at 8pm est so we can all be on the same page and bring in all aspects of the division to improve if need be.

bierz is thinking of stepping down so we need to prepare for that. we have a few strong squads bit there are always ways where we can improve them even further and make it more fun for the squads. but we really need to heavely focus on the other squads and come up with solutions to get them out a rut or keep them from falling further downhill

I say merge Hyperion with Vulcan. Powers doesn't need help. We also need to think about lunchables future here in FG. He is *****ing at me and not taking things up the chain of command.

first off congrats on the otm award Dead!! and how about we do this, Hyperion with Vulcan and Behemoth with Tempest,I know Tempest is doing good but I still think this is best for FG this way we have less squads with little members and it will be easier manage them once merged on top of having Gen's for each,then we can work on getting the inactive gen's to step it up. as for lunchable we should consider giving him a transfer to another div if he is going to continue to be a nu-since,he needs to understand that being inactive as he has been and with bad attitude does not help things for him,Also something needs to be done with Kraken the Gen is not doing anything and we have talked to him twice trying to hype him up but nothing is coming out of it,as i said before I believe we as 7's should be more involved with all the squads,me and Static have talked about it and agreed,as for me im going to be floating around the squads for the next while trying to get a feel for how everyone stands.

All hyperion needs is a strong leader, they have officer staff and the members but merging hyperion and vulcan wouldnt solve it because bloodlust(slipknot) doesnt do crap for his squad either. I think any of us 7's should take over both squads and in the mean time look for a strong leader that is active and willing to take over the squads. But. As for behemoth and tempest, the do need to get merged because behemoth isnt even a squad right now

sorry i havent posted in here in a while. i was caught up in court cases and completely forgot about this. lol but to expand on what docness said, that is what our own training classes static is doing that is kinda sorta the same as LEAD. Eventually in there near future, we are going to require anyone who wants to become an officer go through this program. 

 

and then the hyperion issue. static, we know you have the squad tag as of right now. i plan on keeping it that way. iin a months timeframe, i believe you should have that turned around quite nicely. so when may 1 comes, i want you to have an idea of who could potentially take general, even if that is shooter. also, along with your training classes, i would like to get your curriculum so i know what all is being gone over. also on may 1, i want you to make it so you have to sign up on the forums to be able to register for the class. and as soon as you get your batch for the new session, we can lock and eventually hide that topic and create a new sign up sheet for the next session and so on and so forth. also i would like to create a list of who has gone through the class and be updated after each session to reflect to the division and for us to know who has gone through it. it will help out the gens to know who has gone through the class so if someone says they have been, we can look back on here and see whether they are lying or not.

 

lumina, you just gotta impress us from here on out. get the welcoming committee on its feet so we can utilize it like it is supposed to be. 1 or 2 people from each squad and eventually we can grow it a little bigger. maybe create a FB group for us all.

 

me and dead have the KSI Jeopardy this weekend, and yall can be proctors too. its just basic KSI knowledge such as when we got the new site, what is rank structure, who is director. that kind of stuff. we can really use some input on types of questions to ask. it'd be very helpful
