We dropped quite a few members this past week due to fluff. Active fluff is a member that gets on the Xbox but isn’t participating in any KSI activities. Send a message on the squad tags asking them to respond, if they don’t respond to the messages they are active fluff. We can also try to pull them into a party and see what is actually going on with the person. After going the extra mile, if they still don’t respond maybe it’s best to fluff them - We need to be sending out messages about our new recruits. Please repeat these messages. This also applies to messages from the 7s; this is the best way to get the word out to all our members. - Let’s make sure we are cautious about who we are joking around with. If you aren’t familiar with the person make sure they understand if you are just joking. We don’t want any members to feel like they are being disrespected or unwanted. Also when holding meetings make sure everyone mutes their mic. If someone doesn’t want to do this and can’t stay professional in the meeting lobby you need to kick them from the lobby and discuss the issue with them after the meeting. - Pick up on the Game Nights!!! A new problem solving process called RID is going to be used to solve problems. R - Research the situation. I - Identify the problem & people involved. D - Defuse the situation so it gets resolved. We need to start using this process with all of our problem solving. We need to continue holding game nights. KSI is a fun, positive gaming community. We need to promote that with game nights. Some blacklisted communities have been removed from the Blacklisted Clans area due to the fact that they haven't caused us any problems as of late. Those clans are KOS, KOD, LOD, and GRM. Though they have been removed they still shouldn't be on your friends list. Level 3 has been added to the G14 Blacklisted Members area. Level 3 is a KSI wide security risk. Members whoe are Level 3 are security risked for all of KSI. Boosting is against the CoC. The CoC prohibits modifying gameplay and boosting falls under this category. Lieutenants - Responsible for organizing daily activities and game nights. The important thing for Lieutenants to do is pull members of the squad together and make everyone feel welcome. Lietenants should have all the SGT's and above on their friends lists. Captains - Responsible for running teams in the squad (Headhunters, Team Tactical). Doesn't necessarily have to be the Team Captain but can still assist with running team practices and scrimmages. Captains should have every person from their squad on their friends list. Co Founder - Responsible for retraining the officer staff of the squads their over. They need to make sure that the GEN's of those squads are running the squad correctly. Weekend Warfare will be Dec. 13th 4pm-8pm EST on Minecraft. It will be a buildoff with a winter theme. Teams of 4 can sign up @ www.ksiweekendwarfare.org. LW Notes: KSI Nick 7 plans on having a game night soon. More details to follow. A new topis will be posted on the forums for LW squads for Headhunters and squad battles. Gens if you want to promote someone they will need to be tested by their Co-Founder before you can promote them. - Nick will start having a “trivia question of the day†on the forums page. Correct answers will award members “points†which will be totaled up weekly. The person with the most posts at the end of the week will win a prize. - Generals make sure you are sending out at least 3 messages a week on the squad tag. Messages should be sent out about Weekend Warfare, 7’s vs. Viewers, and weekly meetings for the squad. Achilles Notes: - Recruiting has been sloppy. Too many recruits are being denied by the recruit tag for simple mistakes that can be avoided. Xbox has not been kind in this area, but if you are having issues with seeing parts of the recruits information it is usually due to settings being wrong. If you are sure there are no mistakes and still not seeing the information needed postpone sending them to the recruit tag. Just makes things more difficult in the long run. - Clan Ops Informnation Center can be found under the FLEET heading on the forums page ( ksiforums.org ). There you will find a detailed explanation of the recruiting and training processes. For those interested in ranking up there is a lot more useful information to be found in those sections. - We need to inform new recruits that if they change any of the Privacy settings or their motto or bio they will not be accepted by the recruit tag. I know that these settings have been correct in some cases, just for the recruit to go back and change them again. Then they wonder why they sit on the recruit tag. - Since the 25th of this month only 2 officers have posted in the roll call section of the forums page. We have to stay on top of this. Rank suspensions can be handed out for those that are not posting at least twice a week on the forums page ( at least once in roll call ). - Squad chat needs to be more active. Would like to hear ideas on making it more interesting to members. - Anyone that is interested in trying out for the Tac Team please message KSI Aries. He will set up a time and date for that to take place. - KSI Ascendancy is hosting a recruiting competition from 1/30/15 to 2/13/15. This will be limited to the CPLs within Achilles. You can learn a lot of useful information. - GENs and 7s need to make sure they accept the friend requests from the Senior's silver tags. - Be sure to apply the R.I.D. system to handle situations within KSI. Research the problem to understand what the issue is. Identify all of the individuals involved and speak to each one to get all available information. Diffuse the situation using the information you have gathered. We need to be figuring out ways to turn these incidents into positive reinforcements for the individuals involved. Not every situation requires a member to be removed. - Need to be promoting KSI media on the squad tags. LW Notes: - LW is continually moving in the right direction. Recruits are coming in and they are getting trained sooner. KSI Evil 7 has not had to complain about the recruit tag for the past week. LOL - Over the next few the 7s staff will be in disarray. KSI Evil 7 will be taking a special advisory role, and KSI Nick 7 will be on when he has time. This will leave KSI Country 7 and KSI Collector 7 with most of the weight under aid from the Sr. Directors. - 7s are available to provide help when the squad needs it. They are not in position to run the squad for you. - Nominations for AAP OTM will close on Sunday. Make sure post your nominations before then. Speak to an officer if you need help on figuring out how. - Weekend Warfare on Advanced Warfare Saturday Feb 7th @ 8pm EST. Will be a 4v4 Momentum. - Need to try to diffuse situations without removing members. Try to look for positive solutions that will help members to improve themselves and their roles in KSI. Promotion from Pvt to Cpl, should only happen when you talk to the member. If you don’t get them into a party or one of your cpt’s cant do the promotion you need to ask if they are active enough to remain in KSI. 6. ONI is going to be working with us on some projects with several of the divisions, and since we needed to put her in a unique position we gave her a unique name: Community Advisor. 7. There is a new Thread on the forums in the L.E.A.D section created by KSI QueenJess 7 called Leadership Resources, please take a few minutes to go over that with your leaders. Also please look up the Divisional Benchmark Status to help educate your leaders on what is . 8. Chaos needs a list of AW CoD Elite Squads/Division and if you don’t have any would like to know “why the Huck Not†We need to compile a list of all the divisions and squads that are participating in the Clan Wars. He is trying to account for where/who is taking advantage of the opportunities that we should be taking advantage of. So make sure that you have this info compiled and PM’d to Chaos and CC the Seniors. 9. Transfers will need to PM the senior director after first contacting your leaders in your division. In this PM you need to include your KSI gamer tag, squads and division you are in, your rank, the division you are wanting to go to with reason you are wanting to leave. LW Note: - There’s a lot going on here in LW. So make sure you are staying on top of things and not cutting corners. LW is on its way to contending with the bigger divisions. - Gens make sure you are posting your squad goals and stats on the forums ever week. Please make sure you keep up with this and don’t fall behind. - Back to Basics: Make sure you are training you replacement! Gens if you want to promote someone they will need to be tested by their Co-Founder before you can promote them. - This is for all the BO2 and AW squads. Make sure your emblems are staying PG. We don’t wanna see any male or female parts. Achilles Notes: - Squad chat needs to be more active. Would like to hear ideas on making it more interesting to members. - Would like to see more game nights. Anyone can hold a game night just inform KSI Gr33nB3r3t when and what game. He will send a message out on the squad tag to try to get more players involved. - Informed members to be creative when choosing what game to choose on game nights. KSI Aries suggested Movie Night. We will push forward to make that happen. - Make sure you are promoting the media sites and the forums page. - Use the SOPs found in the Clan Ops Information Center when recruiting and training. Other useful information can be found in there as well. - Anyone that is interested in trying out for the Tac Team please message KSI Aries. This will be taking place on Saturday 2/15/15 at 6 pm. A shoutout system is being started up throughout KSI. It has been a big hit so far. Hopefully we'll start it up here in LW. We need to work on posting notes in an orderly manner. It's the GEN's job to post notes and he/she has 48 hours to do so. L.E.A.D. classes will be starting up soon. 201 classes start up on the 16th and 101 classes start up on the 17th. Signups are on the forums. LW Notes: Officer workshops will be every Tuesday @8pm EST. It is open to all SGT's and higher and signups for that will be on the forums in the LW section. We need to make sure we're training the RCT's off of the recruit tag. The longer they sit on there, the less interested in being a part of our community.
