Leadership Notes

Productions and News teams are still looking for new blood. If you are interested in writing or have a capture card you can apply in their respective areas on the forums

Spirit Week: During Spirit Week we encourage all divisions to find teams without 7’s participation. There will be some surprises for the 7’s during Spirit Week, but remember unless it is a last resort we prefer teams consist of members at the squad level. Teams for Spirit Week will be: 3 man team on Halo Reach (360 & Xb1), 4-man team for Halo 5, 4-man team for BO2 (It’s possible that this might be changed to BO1 since it is backwards compatible).

No weekly update this week

Weekend Warfare: Saturday May 28th will be a Rocket League “Snow Day” 2v2 tournament. If you are interested sign up in the T&E section on the forums

5th Annual Spirit Week Videos:

The winning video will be shown throughout Spirit Week to promote the event. It will also be posted on the YouTube channel.  All videos will be posted on the YouTube channel; however they all might not be shown on the live stream during the events.  The winning video will be determined by community vote. The video with the most votes wins!!!

               Requirements:

-        Video must be for KSI Spirit Week

-        Video must say KSI Spirit Week 2016, or KSI 5th Annual Spirit Week somewhere in the video

-        Must represent all divisions (Last Strike, Demonic Mayhem, Dark Legions, Divine Reign, Wicked Intent, Forced Induction, Explosive Outlaws, Harmonic Destruction, Eternal Souls, Legendary Warriors, Maximum Punishment, Toxic Illusion, Infinite Kaos)

-        Must represent the games that are part of Spirit Week (Rocket League, Halo Reach, Black Ops 2, Halo 5, Black Ops 3)

-        Must be at least 15 seconds long, and preferably under 1 minute long

-        The KSI Code of Conduct must be follow with all audio and video clips

** Please PM KSI Jupiter 7 and/or KSI Mpliers 7 with your video. Once they receive videos they will be put in numerical order so that they can be voted on **

Congratulations on our new PC division, Infinite Kaos!!!

Make sure that squad meeting notes are being posted in a timely manner (within 48 hours of the meeting). Remember it is the General’s responsibility to make sure that notes are getting posted.

Forums Activity: Remember it is a basic requirement that all officers have an active forums account. If an officer isn’t active on the forums disciplinary actions will be taken.

Make it a priority in your divisions to have fun. set up a game night for just your 7s and generals this will help with team building but the main focus should be to have fun.

Directors

this goes double for us we all deal with stressful times and sometimes that can fracture the team let's choose a game and play something just for fun.

---------------------------

Division Level notes:

Unless your talking to somebody as a close friend, please take our words for things. Stop taking things to other divs and directors.

Make sure you guys are respecting each other, it will be less issues.

Make sure we do not meet negative with negative. If anyone treats you negative try to end it respectively.

Ascend and poison will be getting together and putting together spotlight of the week number.

Dedication is what the recruiting tournament was all about. Gotta actually be dedicated for them.

Achilles won the recruiting comp.

Generals, from today on, if we don't see the messages that need to be sent out you will be rank suspended.

LW Notes
Recruit Tag:  GREAT job on the recruiting over the past couple of weeks, this is what we LOVE to see. Currently there have been about 80 recruits since it started. Remember it ends July 7th
From ascend: Since he has heard there has been a little bit of a squad battle going on between Achilles and Hypnos with recruiting, he placed another little competition. Whatever squad gets to 30 by Sunday, will get to chose his outfit, etc for the running man challenge he is going to do in honor of spirit week.
-MVP: every week this is something that will get added to your squad stats and goals. Pick someone who has been of importance to the squad that week. The 7s will read them and pick one they will add to their own stats they turn in to the directors.
- Spotlight of the week; this is still something all generals need to do. Your spotlight should be turned into KSI Poison Ivy on Wednesday and your message about the spotlight needs to go out by 8pm est on Friday.
- LW Fun Night; this weeks LW Fun Night will be geared towards spirit week. Showing everyone what to look forward to in the upcoming week. Also, please make sure everyone knows, it doesn't matter what rank you are, if you would like to hold a game lobby for LW Fun Night please let your General know. We are looking for more creative ideas when it comes to game type and game play.
-With spirit week remember, its going to be all about fun. Great opportunity to be apart of some fun competition, and wins some great prizes. Please check at the Spirit week section on the forums for more info.
- Spirit week video; The last day to Vote for spirit week videos, is Saturday. Lets Show our Support
- Back to basics, is Exactly what we need to do. Having fun is the first step. When your base things around having fun, everything else will fall into place.
-When clearing someone to recruit remember they MUST put it in there Bio. example:   " Cleared to Recruit by KSI MuddyGirl7 on 6/16/16

 Spirit week

Spirit week was a great aucess! There were a few bumps during the way but all in all it was an awesome turn out and a whole lot of fun! Every division participated in some way or form which was awesome. Everyone start planning for next year lol. Make sure you congratulate the winners this year ls in 1st es in 2nd and wi in 3rd.

Back to the grind

Now that spirit week is over its time to get back out to the grind and get things moving in your division again. We were a little lax with g14 and squad tags this last week but now we need to pick up the pace and get back put there. Remember 7 days off g14 or squaD tag is an automatic rank suspension so make sure you get back into the flow.

Lockdown

Please remember we are still on lockdown which means all parties and games need to be on invite only as well as you should be taking extra precautions when doing security checks on new recruits. If anyone has any questions about what to look for during a security check please contact your director and they can further explain what needs to be done during a lockdown.

Stats

Make sure your gettibf your stats sent in on the forums to all directors and seniors before the division meeting.

AAP

It's finally back! The AAP awards system is back up and running which means you can now go nominate your fellow memebers who you think has gone above and beyond for awards! Please remember to read the criteria for each award before you make a nomination and remember anyone can nominate someone for anything but only some cam actually witness so if you would be a good witness have someone else make the nomination for you.

Hirings

Like always news team and productions are hiring but for now the history team is no longer hiring new memebers while they revamp the department. But don't fret because judge applications are open again so if that's something that interests you make sure you go put in an application to become a court judge! Applications for any department can be found in there respective areas on the forums if anyone has any questions contact your divisional 7s.

•All Emblem's on all games should be PG rated. So we will be starting to look through those again.

•Its very important that we make our members happy. Make sure we have a safe and fun environment.

•Caesar is recruiting Its own Suicide squad and there will be a tryout soon. If there is anyone with both systems feel free to try out.

•Haven't seen much issues with the Messages on the squad tag.

•Communication is key, if you guys don't express your concerns to the 7 staff then were gonna assume everything is okay

Upper leadership Notes:

  Kik chats

We've said it before but squad based kik chats should not be used. All they do is lead to more issues down the road. If you have a memeber that gets butthurt about something all your doing is creating a fast means for them to relay there issue to everyone and then watch a chat pick sides. Let's get away from as many kik chats as possible.

Tolerance

A key important aspect here in ksi is tolerating other people and learning to work with them on a professional level when you have to. You will not always like peers around you but it is imperative that you still act civil around them epically in the company of others.

Squashing issues

It's important to not keep things bottled up until you explode. I'd you don't agree with someone of some thing said confront them in a professional matter. It is okay to reach out to a higher rank if you don't feel comfortable to sit in and mediate the conversation but it is very important to make sure you address issues as they come up so that they do not build up and cause a tear in your squad or division. Remember communication is key!

Weekend warfare this week will be on Saturday the 6th at 8 pm eastern. It will be am xbox one bo3 FFA ON core. The following week Saturday the 13th will be a 90s themed karaoke competition. Signups ate both posted on the forums so make sure to get the word out

Weekly update

This week's weekly update will be back to the basics hosted by ksi ascend u. Tune in to twitch.tv/ ksilive on Saturday August 7th at 8 pm eastern

Hirings

Productions and news team are always hiring if your interested fill out an application in there respective sections. The t&e applications have closed and the staff has been hired for you applied and didn't make it this time don't fret applications will open again in the future.

-----------------------------

Division Level Notes:

Everyone congratulate KSI Ascend 7 on his promotion to directly!! hr has deff worked hard for that spot! So everyone spam the heck out of him

also congratulate KSI Fatality 7 on his promotion to Founder !! YAY!!!

WITH that being said

Muddygirl is now running the div. It shouldnt have to be said but lets ensure we follow chain of command. No one should have been going to directly to ascend before hand and deff should not be now

-Recruit tag: officers please ensure you are double checking yourselves on a few things,

A. That the members are deleting the tag after being trained up

B. That they are ACCEPTED first before being trained up

This is the LAST warning about b. That poses a secruity threat here in LW. If it happens anymore the officer to do so will be rank suspended.

Also we have said it before if they have a community in there gamertag they need sent to the join section.

- Lw members who are now on T&E will be holding a small tournament here kn LW. Once i get all of the details i will make sure everyone has them.

- i want to see all swuad set up one joint gamenight within the next week. This will help alot with communicsting and breaking people out of the norm

- Leonidas is now a UK squad so please spread the word so we can move the uk members over there . I deff feel like this will be a big tand great thing here jn LW.

Hannibal has also switchted to MW3 so spread the word about that any members who would like to transfer there please contact KSI xFatality 7

Communication is lacking majorly here in LW. Generals should be getting with no only there officers (besides meeting days) but also with other generals. This can help bring in new ideas, solve any issues between squads and improve the overall running of the division.

geti am very proud of everyone here in LW. There are many many great leaders ewithin this division and i see alot of potential/future 7s here.

There are going to be more spots open in the near future and i am very excited to see everyone grt their chance to shine

But the spotlight goes on one person KSI PHILOSOPHY LW's newest Co-Founder!!!
