There is a new Thread on the forums in the L.E.A.D section created by KSI QueenJess 7 called Leadership Resources, please take a few minutes to go over that with your leaders. Also please look up the Divisional Benchmark Status to help educate your leaders on what is . 8. The join section will be going through a little change in the near future, we will have a join section and a rejoin section in the future, so be on the look out for that coming soon. 2. All of the Join Section will now have a one week hold on them so the staff will have time to do their jobs without rushing, and they will have time to bring in any 7’s if need be. This will slow down the rejoin and join section but it will make the department run more efficient. 3. Make sure that you are ready for summer and the influx of what we have always call the summer rush of recruits, this time of year we always get an influx of recruits because of the extra time that school agers are allowed on the xbox, make sure that you are talking to your squads and your cofo’s and getting them prepared for this time of year and don’t drop the ball, its and excellent time to find your next officer or 7. 4. In the last 2 weeks we grew 100 members with also defluffing in 2 divisions, that is showing 5. Productions is taking applications, if you are interested please visit the productions section of the forums and keep sending in those great clips. 6. Finally lets keep the push for Spirit Week, we have had a great response so for and lets keep it going. 7. T&E applications are still open also. KSI iLLuSiON 7 – Productions is looking for new members that would like to stream. If you have a capture card and need help learning how to stream, the productions team will help teach you. They are also looking for people that are interested in editing; they will also help you with that. They’ve got lots of good events coming up so keep an eye out for that. There is also an open topic in the productions area of the forums. Also news team, check out the news articles @ www.ksiglobal.org. There should be an area where you can comment on their articles. The writers definitely want to hear some comments so they know their work is being read and would really mean a lot to them if you do comment. LW Notes: - Recruiting tournament ended Thursday night. KSI Nick 7 will be going through and counting up the amount of recruits for each member. Expect winners to be announced at next week’s meeting. - Don’t cut corners, but make sure you’re still having fun. That’s the reason we are all here. - Feel free to branch out of your squad. KSI Nick 7 will be working on planning some division wide game-nights. - Remember when you are recruiting people they MUST have 20 non-KSI members on their friend’s list. If this continues to be a problem we will be addressing the issue. - If there are recruits on the recruit tag that won’t respond to you guys when you try to train them you should give them 3 warnings. After those 3 warnings you should message the recruit tag and let us know the situation. - Shout out to KSI Green 7 and KSI Collector 7 for their hard work as Co-Founders - Remember to post up your KSI History in the LW section on the forums page. - Remember to make sure our members are “un-poachable†we need to get them involved from the moment they get recruited in. This means holding game-nights regularly as well as just playing with them - AW/BO2 squads need to be making sure that emblems are kept PG rated. We don’t want to see nudity, racial slurs, etc. - Make sure that when CPL’s are recruiting you remind them that a LT or higher needs to shadow them until they are ready to recruit on their own. Make sure that the CPL’s are putting who cleared them to recruit in their bios. - For those of you that don’t already know this KSI EVIL 7 stepped down due to medical issues. He is okay, but he won’t have as much time on Xbox anymore and he felt like this was the right thing for him to do. Divisional attendance is mandatory for all divisions. Squad tags need to be signed into daily. If not, things will start to pile up. LW Notes: KSI Nick 7 will be suspending the ability to recruit for some members if simple mistakes keep being made. Members that are suspended from recruiting will have to take a recruiting class or two to be able to recruit again. L.E.A.D 101 will be starting up again Monday night at 8pm,EST. This is a 5week Course that can teach you how to be a better officer/person/KSI Member. Every week will cover a different topic. After completion you will be prepared to enter L.E.A.D 201, which is the 7’s version of the class. Friday Aug 21st at 7pm, est. willbe 7’s vs. viewers(rag tag team of members). The match will be live streamed on the KSI twitch channel. More info is to come. Contact KSI Starset or KSI Green 7 if interested. All members should have respect for all KSI members and even those not in KSI. Just because the person isn’t KSI doesn’t give you the right to treat them like crap the C.O.C still should apply. Squads need to work on officer staff! We should be growing in numbers so we can achieve a full officer staff. Every 25 members means the addition of another Captain and LT. (25=1 of each, 50= 2 of each etc.) There will also be no more then 2 SSG’s in a squad as the more SSG’s there are the less work the Lts are needed to do which doesn’t benefit the squad at all (lts will be slacking off). In other words the more SSG’s the more they replace the lts. All Officers should know what their rank is and what their ranks duties include. All officers should strive to forfill their ranks duties and strive to push the limit of what is expected of them. Replacements should be trained properly to know what is expected for their rank as to elimite confusion and further problems. For example Lt’s should be working hard so the SSG’s don’t need to pick up the slack. Thor 7 has announced that the Xbox one-‐squad types will be on the forums soon. He has not said where they will be posted so you may have to soul search the site to find them. The KSI community is about having Fun and not Stress. So we need to keep all issues with in the squad unless absolutely necessary. Snip it in the butt before it escalates out of hand. Be sure to follow the chain of command, there should be no jumping over any ranks. (Unless a rank is not online). 7’s are the ultimate last resort, if a 7 gets involved the matter may not be handled the way expected. Make sure all Black ops 2 and Advanced Warfare emblems are PG. Game nights are an excellent way to keep member engaged and active in the squad and Any member may host a game night regardless of rank. Game nights are encouraged to help keep all members unpoachable. If a non-‐officer is hosting a game night bring it up the chain of command to help get the attention it may need. This also gives all members a feeling of ownership to the squad. Makes them feel like it is their squad just as much as it is the generals. Mentioned that there are people who try to find people to play with and to look on the Hannibal tab and to help people when they ask for it. Next Tuesday will be a meeting for Captains only workshop. The week after that will be for LT’s and after that SSG’s. Informs staff on what they can do better and further themselves and their duties. (Green will get back to me on what to do if a LT or something can’t make the meeting. Subs maybe an option.) Shout out messages should be kept up on as we should be recognizing all the positives being done for squads (Aka: recruiting tops, trainings, helpful staff etc.) Don’t vent downwards. Be a woman or a man and deal with it properly by going to the right person to handle it. Don’t go to anyone rank or two lower then your own to vent to them. The less people involved in problems the better it is for everyone. LW recruit tag: Make sure recruits are being done right as a lot of new recruits haven’t meet security checks. Some have silver accounts some are missing mottos and bios. A new rule might be set in place soon by Nick 7 called recruit Lock. The recruit lock will happen to anyone having many recruiting infractions (as above motto/bio, silver, no friends etc.). This Recruit lock will result in the person being retrained to recruit over many sessions and will not be cleared until they can recruit KSI Urdone 7 or KSI green 7 properly. Also we need to be training recruits off the tag ASAP. Make sure to check the Recruit tag and the squad tag often and get any promotions needing to be done as soon as possible. (Train up or train off). Also you may ask to shadow any recruiter at anytime. Everyone should be setting small achievable goals for themselves and squad. Make sure they can be achieved. Not getting 50 recruits in a week, but something like getting 5recruits in a week or hosting a certain number of game nights and trainings etc. Progress not perfection. Every officer’s main focus should be training replacements. We cannot expect to get a promotion if we do not have a person to fill our shoes. You can also train more then 1, as you never know if that person will be leaving. We cannot have success without of a successor. We also can’t build a legacy without moving up. The 5-week long L.E.A.D workshops have been started. Week 2 sign up is available on the forums. Only Lt’s and above may sign up. This is a first come first serve program so sign up ASAP. Make sure all black ops 2 and Advance warfare emblems are pg. With the new games set to come out soon, Black ops 3, Halo 5 etc. please let any 7 know you may want to switch squads to a new one on these games as they will work with you on a game plan and work with you on which will be best for squads within division. Leave of absence needs to be used more often. Also tell a 7 or two of what has happened and o=how long you will be gone as well as posting on forums LOA section. This can save your ass (less likely to get a demotion for being inactive), as they will also be physical proof. And one more important thing RESPECT. There need to be respect at every level for every rank. Respect people for who they are. RESPECT IS PARAMOUNT.
