Hey octane I just wanna stop in and say that all of you are basically  My second.family I can tell you anything and you all are respectful and just very nice and I enjoy being around you guys for game night and meeting and practices even though we fight sometimes we always turn back around and be friends and I've seen a lot of commitment this entire time since January and it's just been  a great time and this gaming community has so much respect going for it that other people like randoms don't even know how much our members have respects for one another and in Atomics famous words lets rock n roll

HEAD HUNTERS AND TAC TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT

We did not have practice for Tac Team-B or Head Hunters this week because only THREE-FIVE people showed up. That's THREE-FIVE people out of TWELVE for each team!

I am letting you know now, Sunday at the meeting I will discussing this matter further. So guess what guys and gals? If your on Tac Team and Head Hunters, I expect to see you at the meeting Sunday. If you can't be there you NEED to let me or another OFFICER know about an hour prior to the FIRST MEETING. If I don't hear from you or an officer stating that you are busy, and you don't attend the meeting. Don't bother coming to practice.

 

I am not a happy camper because of this issue. You guys wanted to have a Tac Team, you wanted Head Hunters, so we made it for you. But you have to attend practice to be on the team.

I'm sorry for everyone I've let down, and everyone that I've made angry or hurt your feelings. At the end of the day octane is my family. I can't leave y'all. I'll be better. I'm sorry I've made a fool of my self for a while to. I need to grow up really, I do though. I'm ready to become more of a leader to y'all! If anyone needs me feel free to ask me for help. Just because I'm a Sargent doesn't mean I can't help you. I'm going to be more of a leader, and less of a kid. Let's get in there and get some recruits. Octane need more family, and it starts with us! As the legendary AtomicKwon would say let's rock n' roll!

Since Atomic has been gone we have been in a free fall. Everything that Atomic, and FithAce has done to keep this squad together has made us closer than ever. Over the past week MANY members has expressed that they feel left out. That's not the Octane way, we don't leave people out of anything. I am a Captain yes, but I am not better or any worse than ANY of you. You guys and Gals are what keeps me here. I miss the old octane when everyone had each others backs, not the way it is now where it seems everyone has a target on theirs. We aren't like that we NEVER have been, why start now?

 

So OCTANE, starting right now, we are the old OCTANE, making a name for ourselves everyday. Right now you don't hear about OCTANE. You used to ALWAYS hear about us. Lets GIVE everyone something to talk about! You guys are awesome! 

Lets bring this squad back UP out of the ashes again and be the squad I know you are!

 

 

This is our GAME PLAN:

1. Meet everyone in the squad. (No one deserves to not be noticed. Meet EVERYONE in your squad and hang out with them. We live by Rule Number 4 of the Code of Conduct. Lets prove it!)

2. Respect does NOT have to be earned it should be givin'. (Everyone deserves respect regardless of whether you know them or not. I will respect someone until they dont respect me. You need to start that too.)

3. Problems in private! (Here recently it seems that the kik chats have been filled with Drama and people calling people out. Thats gonna stop! If you have a problem or issue with someone, DO NOT ANNOUNCE IT IN PUBLIC! Take it private, talk to an officer/mediator, and get it taken care of. We're family start acting like it and not like little children)

4. Know the Code of Conduct. (Here recently it seems that NO ONE knows the Code of Conduct, because they sure as hell aren't following it. But its okay, thats what the officers are for. So this Sunday at the meeting that you will be at, we are going to read all of the Code of Conduct that has been a problem- we are going to address the problem and make action to solve it.)

5. Know your leaders (And officers). (I am NOT the only officer, Last time I checked we had two captains, two lieutenants, and two staff sergeants. These are ALL officers that can handle problems. At the meeting if you dont know who these people are you will. They will be introduced to ANYONE who doesn't. Problems can be sent to all of them and should be following the Chain of Command(Next rank up from the rank of the person you have an issue with). But its okay, we can start now and we will.

6. Kik Chats. (The kik chats were made in Mid-January to make communication easier between members but they are NOT mandatory to have and they can be taken away if not used properly. Posting in there means that Everyone in octane can see what you said. And the kik chats are to be kept at PG-13 Level all the time. Any worse and you will be givin a warning. Its the last straw with the chats, We did great without them and we can again if that is what it comes to.)

7. Getting involved. (Want to get involved but dont know how? Talk to an officer, they can tell you how, there is ALWAYS stuff to do. Just ask and they will point you in the right direction.)

8. Recruiting. (We need to start recruiting again. KSI has a weekly Minimum of how many recruits you bring in weekly. That minimum if Five. We have been bringing in about 5-8 a month- supposed to be around 20 a month... We gotta get new members recruited. Dont know how to recruit? Ask and officer or a SGT that has recruited two or more people before. They can give you the script and allow you to get busy- For your first recruit a member of Octane- SGTs rank or Higher has to sit in on you recruiting them. Get busy everyone! )

9. Communication. (*Trust, Communication, Support, and Understanding,* are what Octane lives on. If you need anything tell someone, if you feel left out, tell someone, if you feel that you dont belong tell someone-I am an officer and there was a time that I felt I didn't- I guarantee that whatever the problem is, it has happened before and there is someone in the squad that has been through it. We are here for you. Trust in us and we will conquer any obstacles in our way. Support one another, stop hurting each other, calling someone out or making them feel bad is not the way to resolve anything, thats just going to make it worse. We need to reach an Understanding with one another before we go any farther. Everyone needs to be on the same page. I understand what everyone of you are going threw, SodBuster understands what each one of you are going threw, Rising Tied understands what each of you are going through, Grievance understands what each of you are going through, Trixx understands what you all of going through, you just gotta tell them. *Trust, Communication, Support,  and Understanding.*)

10. UNDERSTANDING. (You are the reason why Octane is still around, I'm not, Sod is not, Atomic is not, FithAce is not, the officers are not, you are. You guys are the reason we keep going. If you do we proceed to the next issue in line, if you dont we are stuck going no where.) You control the outcome, you always have. Lets get this squad kicking again.)

Octane,  Thanks to all who attended meetings this Sunday (Awesome turnout). Take time to congratulate our awesome LT Trixx, on his promotion from SSGT to LT (spam him a bit). We had a few lobbies for game night last night and had a few technical difficulties and many of you hung through it and were very chill, so thank you for that. All in  all a good night. 

Thank you to many of the SGT's and officers for stepping up recently to pull extra duties and just lend a hand or an internet connection ; )  . 

 

To all, keep encouraging one another to strive for greatness in life on and off the console. Lets not forget to have fun in the process.  Respect one another and get to know some of the Octane members you don't know (go out of your way today to meet new members right here in your squad as well as members you are acquainted with but don't really know). 

Your attitude is a key factor in bringing this squad to greatness. You always have a choice on your attitude, chose wisely. Your tongue speaks either life of death, speak life to the things that need to be brought forth to grow us all to be successful in our endeavors here. Our speech is also like a rudder of a ship and will steer us as individuals and a squad. Lets all keep it going in the right direction.
