KSI xKing 7DS 795 Posted May 30, 2018 Report Share Posted May 30, 2018 Welcoming Committee: The welcoming committee is a team of individuals within a Division that all share the goal of helping new members learn about KSI, and getting them involved with the community. The committee members are to be well diversified between all squads within the Division, ranging from 1 to 2 members per squad. All members must be knowledgeable, approachable, well known and respected throughout their Division. The goal of a Welcoming Representative will be to teach all new recruits about the ins and outs of KSI, as well as informing these recruits of simple procedures, including but not limited to: Forums usage Web-Ops Join/Re-join processes Divisional sections Weekend Warfare Chain of Command Mission: The Welcoming Representatives mission is to bridge the gap between disconnected and or new members, and to also make all members feel welcomed by keeping them active within KSI. This committee will be outgoing and proactive in its approach to communicate and make sure all new members who join KSI are well informed. This team is used to integrate all members with their divisions and squad by continuing the orientation process initiated by officers. Objectives: Establish communication with new and disconnected members. Provide more insight and knowledge about KSI and the day-to-day functions of the new members’ respective squad and division. Maintain contact with new members and attempt to contact inactive ones until the individual is actively involved within their division and squad. Welcoming Representative Requirements: Individual must be the rank of Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain. Individual must be known throughout their squad. Individual must be friendly and welcoming to all. Welcoming Representative Duties: Keep track of current recruits within their squad and actively send invites and messages to all new members. Send messages out to other squad members welcoming the new recruit. Encourage member involvement with all KSI events. Each and every member of this committee is to be held in the highest esteem, as each of them carry a huge voice for their squad. If you think you're up to the task, please fill out this application. I van reach my members better than most people What has your KSI experience been? Please explain in depth. I joined almost a year ago have went througu many trials amd tribulation have rebuilt 2 squads have seen many members come and go and was a GEN for 6 months before getting cofounder and eventually founder How often are you available to complete the duties of a Welcoming Representative? I believe I would be a valued to the committee because I am outgoing, responsible, respectful, I always make sure recruits understand what KSI has to offer and understand everything within our division and KSI as a whole. What has your KSI experience been? Please explain in depth. My experience in KSI has been truly amazing. I have met a lot of different people who have made an impact in my life and my gaming skills. I have also helped many people with their own struggles in life. How often are you available to complete the duties of a Welcoming Representative? Because I have a bit of experience welcoming recruits and helping them fit into a community like KSI.org What has your KSI experience been? Please explain in depth. My KSI experience has been a present time making new friends and playing games with more experienced members How often are you available to complete the duties of a Welcoming Representative? I am available almost 24-7 except when school comes around and even then I am on discord Do you consider yourself to be approachable and outgoing? If I were to be added to this committee, I would be flexible with anything really, and I would try my absolute hardest to what I can to help new recruits. To make them feel like they are cared for and helped throughout their journey in KSI What has your KSI experience been? Please explain in depth. My KSI experience has really overall been very fun and interesting. Whenever I am in a party with others I have a good time, and I really did feel apart of KSI pretty much immediately after I joined. (Thank you for that) How often are you available to complete the duties of a Welcoming Representative? Right after school ends (5-14-18) I'll be on more often than I am now, and in early July I'll be on basically everyday. Until then I'll mostly be on at night Do you consider yourself to be approachable and outgoing? I consider myself to be pretty outgoing (when I'm not running on like three hours of sleep). I try to be as outgoing as I can with people, to seem approachable if they'd ever need anything.
