But yes your more than welcome to come to both meetings. I like it! Shoot, if yall are comfortable, maybe after a few meetings yall can let him pass the word from the last meeting he attended & yall fill in the gaps? Just a suggestion. I compile the attendance from both meetings but list them separately and then give the total number of individual members present at both meetings (the total number of members who were present for at least ONE meeting). So the topics covered are the same, but then again stuff happens every day (yesterday I was 1CPT and WARS was GEN, today WARS has a 7 behind his name and I am GEN) so while I'm not going to create a separate list of people who attend both, yes, I could see giving your idea a shot, though since DEVASTATION is our new 2CPT he needs to gain experience hosting meetings before anyone else. Tonight's meeting was really good since we had about 5 new recruits there and another 5 or so more senior members who were unable to make Sunday and a few people who made both - since the Squad is approaching 70 members or so (I should get Access Denied access sometime in the next day or two so I'll know for sure then) I had everyone in the party send each other friend requests and a good number of them went off to play when I adjourned it. I'm thinking of making this S.O.P. having party up and go game together. I'm just worried about losing some of our cohesion as we grow, so any advice people have about making sure we integrate new members into the Squad is more than welcome! KSI Alpha Camel 8 Posted August 28, 2012 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 Yea I'd like to give other people chances to host/pass along Meeting topics and hosting meetings and what not because as a former captain i've had experience with that before. Um I think something that would be beneficial to our squad is having a topic titled Warlord Agenda and schedule. This would include the dates of game nights, meetings, squad team practices, and other things surely to come in the future. Also the agenda part would direct and remind of us of our focus and goals that we have in mind so that we may become a better squad. Another idea is a welcoming committe or possibly sergeants over a couple privates and corporals which may seem like micromanaging but also may work well in helping the privates and corporals in feeling welcome and it also gives them someone to go for to ask questions. We are very structured and keep our members informed & current on all news and situations. I'd say our "method", if you could call it that, is leading from the front. Everything myself and my officers expect from the junior members, we do ourselves first. We stress what it is we are looking for in a Warlords member, that this is not MY Squad, even as the General. The squad, in the end, is the collective effort of all members: from the newest RCT to myself. I always try and remind everyone that this Squad is what we choose to make it. We can make it fun, or we can make it a headache. Luckily most people seem to enjoy fun more than headaches. Respect is a two way street - officers should treat junior members they way they in turn wish to be treated. Communication is paramount to Squad unity. A Warlords member should want to a Warlord.
