I'm in all honesty Surprised this lad doesn't already have this Award.

FadeZ has been an amazing person to work with for around the past 2 years.

I first met him when I was General of Hannibal in 2017, I met him from another Member, and we talked a bit. I thought, "Huh. This guy is cool, he's a fun guy to be around." and then I left and didn't talk to him for a little bit. I didn't have a chance too.
FadeZ was a General of FI at the time, and I only got a chance to talk to him again when he was transferring, and this was a tough time. With many people harassing him due to his Decision to seek out a new Family, it seemed to make it even worse for him. We had become friends and then became eager to work with one another through varying different Activities. 

With his Years of experience, he was taught me a ton about what it means to lead a Department, and he was taught me what a Leader should be in relation to their Members. On a daily basis, FadeZ is a Leader in HSI, but he is also a Friend and someone you can play with. FadeZ has moved through the Officer ranks time and time again through-out his Years in the Community, Ranging from Divisional Leader, General, and SGT, Multiple times. Wherever he went he changed the Squad. I've seen this personally a few Times while inside of DW, In Samurai and Hannibal, He's made several people become Officers and show them what a Officer truly should be. He changed the "Aura" of the Squad to a more Friendly and Family Oriented place. FadeZ has definitely been the "Dad" of Squads at one point or another.

Inside Departments, I've seen him work countless hours every day working on ways to improve the Departments he was in. Whether it was writing his Famous Articles from News multiple times a week, to talking to people on the Forums about joining the Community, To managing HSI and improving relations with the Community and the Department. FadeZ has been someone I've seen work tirelessly and it's very inspiring to see him do his best for the sake of the Things he's in.

I've worked with FadeZ with multi-department events and Ideas for a long time, He has reached out to all departments in a effort to bring Department Ops and the areas inside it to a closer and more Family ideal atmosphere. FadeZ is one of the most caring people inside of the Community, he is always looking for people to succeed and improve their Areas, and he isn't afraid to come up with his own to help those people, without Stepping on peoples feet. 
FadeZ, you are someone who has been a Leader for a long time, with as much accomplishments as you have, I think they pale in comparison with how much you will do in the Future. Whether its in KSI, or Real life, I hope you find Success wherever you're searching. 

And, I think we can all agree that FadeZ is secretly the CEO already. 

I believe FadeZ is someone who deserves OS3, and is someone every Leader, whether its Current or in the Future, should shrive to take in his Ideals, and Work Ethic.

Character abilities/gadgets/what makes them menacing: He doesn't have any super powers, except one he says is one. He can stand Menacingly. He can't do anything a normal person cant, Except that. It's not even a Super power. Hes Broke so he doesnt have any Gadgets, his main Catchphrase is, "It be like that Sometimes." Then he runs off into a door because hes Legally Blind. 

Their story:

Let me break down this Story for ya:

The main Character of this Story, is FadeZ. He was walking home one night while eating some Nuggets he got from Wendy's, then BOOM! In a Dark Alley, Nebbi is standing there. Arms Spread like hes about to do something unbelievable. FadeZ stood there in Shock, frozen in terror. He stuttered over his Words saying softly, "W...Who are you?!", Nebbi stood into the Light saying, "Hey, Do you have like, a Phone I can use to call my Mom? She should be worried about me.", FadeZ screamed in Terror, Throwing his Nuggets at Nebbi and sprinting away. The Nuggets Slammed into his Nose, Nebbi replied instantly, "AHHH, Bro! He hit my Noggin Bro! What the Heck!", while he saw FadeZ run away he said softly, "It be like that sometimes." FadeZ stopped and Replied, "It do." With a Shocked Look in his Face.

 

And yeah that's what happened I guess, it's a true story you should definitely ask @FadeZ 7

Reason why they deserve this award: Since ever coming to DW and Hannibal, Yeet has been a pleasure to work with and has been working hard to make sure that Hannibal is becoming a Squad that everyone wants to be in. She works alongside KSI Harmony 7, the General of Hannibal, to work with the Officers and to make sure that all events are being hosted. Hannibal has slowly been growing and getting more Officers, Yeet does multiple events every week and is somebody every officer in the Division to look up to as someone they can learn from and someone that could help them. Yeet is definitely an Aspiring Leader within the Community, and is someone people can learn from.

Reason why they deserve this award: Since becoming a General again, Harmony has shown that she has full determination to Spilt Hannibal, and help the squad the best she could. She's been in Hannibal for i want to say around 16+ months working as a Officer or Higher. She's worked hard to make sure that Hannibal is still alive and well, whether its going out and recruiting for hours, and holding no luck, and doing it again. Or training and working with New Potential Officers to get some help, has been on ongoing Challenge for Harmony but she encouragingly took it on even if it was something anyone would want to do. Harmony has brought a Kind and warm aura to the Squad that was much like a Family. I can't wait to see what Harmony does and want to continue to see her thrive.

Divisional Goals 

Divisional leadership, your goals for the month are still being monitored and checked on in terms of steps taken and movement towards the goal. When the new month timeline roles around, new goals are to be posted and updated on every week. Please stay on top of this for the benefit of your division and maintaining accountability.

 

Posting Sign Ups On The Forums: 

When posting a sign ups on the forums for ANY event in KSI, please remember you can edit them until the cut-off. So with that being said DO NOT message a member of T&E or a Sr Leader to delete your post. Simply go back to your post and slap the edit button and make your changes. FYI you can edit any post you make on the forums. 

 

KSI Survey: 

Send your members and officers to the forums and participate in the KSI Survey. This is a survey to put your thoughts out to the community and leaders. Reaching Out 

Sometimes when being an officer within the community situations can come up that you may not have the knowledge or abilities to handle. There is no shame in reaching out to someone to ask a question or get some advice. There are many people within the community with a plethora of knowledge and advice they can share with you! Don't be afraid to reach out.

There's a lot of good info on the forums and if your having problems navigating the forums there’s a new forums workshop with a new award if your interested ask your officers about it.

 

Event Channels 

Event channels for every Divisions Discord will be up and running within the next 48 hours.

 

Fluff: 

As our Divisions Leaders it our responsibility to make sure our squads are actively fluffing. Send out a message and give them a few days to respond. If no response after 3 day then send another message stating they only have x amount of hours till they are fluff. This process should take 7 days from the first message to the last fluff message.

 

Did You Know?  (officers only)

Did you know that a 1st LT and a 3rd LT are both the same rank. They are both LT's the numbers don’t matter, same thing with Captain's numbers we're all in this together to help. You are all officers volunteering your time to help KSI and it’s members further up in rank one goes just means they have more responsibility and can help out more. 

 

Nominating Officers for Outstanding Service Lvl 1: 

Outstanding Service Members Lvl 1 is an award that can be received by an officer in the ranks of SSGT to GEN. Most all of the Divisions 7 staff have their OSL1 but forget that they are not the only ones that can be or should be nominated for this award. We all know that there are several members in every division that should be nominated. So with that said I encourage you to nominate your Outstanding members.

 

2019 Divisional Cup

KSI should be a fun place for gamers to enjoy, not a stressful monotony of different requirements to fulfill. We heard your voices in the recent and ongoing Community Survey and we’ve heard your voices in parties. As of Sunday, September 15, 2019, the KSI Board of Directors agreed on a revamp of the Divisional Cup and additional areas. Please read about these changes here: https://www.ksiglobal.org/div-cup-changes/. This is the first step to reshaping KSI into a better image from the feedback you’ve provided us.

 

Department Notes

Please congratulate KSI December 77 on his promotion to Chief Department Manager.We’d also like to congratulate KSI Scotland 7 on his many years of service and his extensive contributions to KSI Global. Originally recruited in the Fall of 2013, Scotland has been deeply involved in both Clan and Department Operations over the course of his KSI career. It is with a bittersweet heart that we wish him the very best as he starts his well-earned retirement from the KSI Board of Directors.

Please congratulate KSI Harmony 7 on her promotion to the Head of News! Harmony has been a part of the News Department for over a year and a half. She has been instrumental in enhancing Department stability, training and mentoring Department staff as a Senior News Writer and consistently creating content for the Global site. I'll put my Witness in this

I met King I want to say around the end of 2017 when he rejoined Clan Ops to pursue being able to be a Director, he joined Samurai LW under poor leadership and worked hard to ensure that his Squad was the Best in the Division. He became a General like I was at the time, and King could confirm, I liked to call us "Rivals". He worked tirelessly, whether it when he helped me become a better General and give me tips, to getting on after his job to help his officers and go recruiting. Whenever he had free time, he was with his Members or with his Officers making Plans. I can say without a doubt that even as a General inside of LW, he was making big plays and changing the Division for the Better.

When LW merged with DR, and Became DW, King was the prime candidate for a Promotion to Co-Founder. Before he was promoted, he laid the groundwork and brought Samurai from the Depths, when we first started each of our Squads were around 20, When he became a Co-Founder both of them were around 50-60.  the current leadership was KSI Gary 7 as the Founder, and KSI HAVOC 7 as the Co-Founder I believe. King fit himself in the position of Leadership just fine as his experience had taught him. 

King made big differences inside the Division in each rank he was in, After he was promotion to Founder, and in charge of the Co-Founder's below him, KSI VENUM 7, and Myself. He made sure that we were up to the task and helped us for the better. although we did butt heads constantly, King was available for areas to improve in. King later transferred to ES to help them, do to there only being one person in the 7 Staff, KSI Eyonia 7. Anything after that, I don't have perfect memory do to him being in a different Division, but I heard constantly that King had Changed ES and was doing a fantastic Job. As soon as King joined ES skyrocketed in Activity. After becoming Division Leader, he became a Director and Is continuing being someone to look up to and change Divisions in Positive Ways. 

in Web Ops, he was a Forums Moderator, and Join Staff, he is now in charge of the Join Staff and a Senior Forums Moderator. He worked on many rejoin/join cases and brought many members to the Community. I can't say much on the Web Ops side, I've never been in it and can't really say how much he's done. 

He was engaged in many Departments including, Marketing, PO, HSI. He was slowly been getting more experience in each of the Areas, and helping the ones he's still in. He's no longer in my Department, so I can't say much as to what he's doing now.

King has been a fantastic member of the Community, working tirelessly to better himself, those around him, and the things he engages in. King would have to be without a doubt, on of the Most Outstanding members of the Community in the past few years. Thank you for all that you've done King, I hope you can continue doing what you want and pursuing that you have Engaged.

I met Airborne sometime in 2017, while he was in charge of the Judges.

I don't know anything before that, or when he was Clan Ops Leadership.

But while I've known him, he's been a great asset to Department Operations as a whole, putting his knowledge out to help other Departments, and being active in multiple of them, giving his 110% in each of them. 
until recently he moved to be the Head of AAP, and Renovating it into being a more active place, and bringing in more awards, and resembling the AAP Staff to have more people and a more active team. He changed AAP into what it could be, and what it should be. 
He Created the Record Section on the Forums. The record section was made to keep track of people inside and outside of the community, if someone does something bad that Division or Department makes a Record in a chat about what happened, and the Witnesses that were there when the event transpired.
Even while doing all of his work, on the daily he makes sure that he is available to play with members, or talk to his peers about what could be better in his Department. 

Airborne is a very determined Member of the Community, who is very caring of the areas he's in. 

I believe Airborne is a shining member of the Community who deserves to have Gold Outstanding Service! Keep it up Bucko

Please remember that in this community, we highly value respect between members regardless of rank or stature. It is important that during normal conversation (and specifically when having an issue with a member or leader) that professional tones and languages are maintained. Leaders: Just because you have a rank doesn't mean you can talk to members however you please. Members: Although you do not have a rank to lose, you are a member of this community and thus will show respect to each other. Any violations of respect or unprofessionalism should be reported to the proper chain of command.  

Member Retention 

 

Every rank from RCT all the way up are important! Too often do we see CPLS and PVTS getting lost within the daily doings of the community. As leaders and members of the community it is our job to ensure all members are being included in all activities within the squad and division. If there is a member you think you haven't spoken too for a while, reach out to them, see what's happening.

Utilizing the Forums

 

It's important that we are making sure we are being active on the Forums and pushing all members to also be active. The earlier people are introduced to the Forums the better. It gives people a chance to get familiarised with the layout and general navigation on the forums as it can be daunting at first. Then when they become an officer they will already know the basics.

Squad Tag Messages

 

For a long time our Squad Tag messages that needed to be sent out weekly has been 3. After a lot of discussion we have made the decision to lower the message requirement to 2 messages a week. Try to make the 2 messages one a positive message and the other something related to the squad. For example a game night, the squad meeting, or a workshop. 

As an alternative posting you can post and pin in the squad clubs. 

 

Know Your Limits 

 

It is important that when dealing with KSI issues that might come up not to take on more than you can handle. Even though you might think that you have things handled, it is easy to bite off more than you can chew or burn yourself out. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, it's not a sign of weakness it’s knowing your limits. We are all here to help each other out.

Poaching 

 

Please remember that poaching other people doesn’t just apply to other communities it also applies to your fellow KSI members. Sometimes we might hear our fellow members from another squad or Division complaining about being unhappy. When this happens we can offer the advice of talking to their General. A lot of times the General doesn’t know that the member isn't happy and given the chance they might be able to help improve their KSI experience. It can be considered poaching if we encourage them to come to our squad "we'll gladly take you" or "you will always have a home here". We wouldn't want someone poaching our friends from our squad. Lets extend that courtesy to our fellow squads/Divisions.

Greenday, That's a name I've known for a while.

I first met her while she was KSI Greendayfox, and striving to get her 7, and become a bright influence in the Community.

She's been in Clan Ops, in FI and SL (That I know of.), And being a positive change in her Squad and Division. 

In Department Ops, whether she's a Judge, News/HSI (Before & After the Merge), Marketing, CDC. She brings new ideas and aspiring movements in the Department, She strives to help others and improve on herself and the Departments she's in. She even got Department Member of the Year 2018, which should prove her dedication! 

She's also a Forums Moderator, which u can't say all she does due to myself not being one, or having alot of knowledge of, but she's in each area of the Community, wanting to better herself in each one.

Green is such a motivational influence in myself and Others, She maintains a positive atmosphere and encourages Activity in events and Departments, She goes above and Beyond in so many Areas, and I can't talk about anything before 2018, but I've seen what she's done so far, and moving forward I'd love to see her bring everything back to what it can be, And bring things to a higher level. So. FadeZ. FadZey, Baby powder, Baby Cakes, I have many nicknames for this man. And many things to say about him.

I first met him when he was a officer/General in FI, we didn't start out as friends, we met in a party and just talked for a little bit. Months later, he transferred to DW, and we started to talk more, And I saw his ambition to help others. Several times he wanted to be an officer just because the squad needed it, whether or not he had the time for it. 

Moving in Departments, I saw him join News and HSI, and worked up in both of areas, when they were One Department and then when they were two. He became a senior news writer, putting out several Articles each week sometimes, to the point where he couldn't write anymore and getting burnt out. 

And when he got Head of HSI, Where I saw him getting another Head Position, Previously T&E before my time here. And him give it his all in HSI in making it a better place and making sure the Staff are enjoying their time, and making efficient progress with their Divisons, whether it was Divison's 7s or the Directors for getting stats, FadeZ stayed and thought of new ways to improve the Department even before he was Head. 

I can't say about the past before 2018, but FadeZ is an Exceptional Example of the things a Leader should be, and what aspiring members should become.

He is in every area in the Community, whether or not he is considered a leader inside that area, he has striven out to become more knowledgeable and to help as many people as possible and have a great time here.

Please remember the the COC applies in your discord server. When chatting in there it is the same as being in a party. We don’t want to be breaking any part of the COC especially harassment of fellow KSI members. Remember if your having an argument take it into a private DM and please remember the officers are there to help resolve any issues that might come up.

We have been in the process of creating uniform Discord servers for every division for quite some time now. In the weeks to come some of these changes will be made towards achieving that goal. This includes but is not limited to:

Recruiting From here on out every squad must make the attempt to get recruits there is no reason for the squads not to be bringing in fresh faces to each an every squad.

Accountability All we have is our word and that is one of the most important things we have. Anybody can say their gonna do this or that but if you dont follow through then your word means nothing.

 We're getting away with Gen Stats this coming week. This still means that Officers and higher have to check in.

He is by far my greatest Successor of being a Drama Queen.

The sass of this Lad is off the charts.

This man is constantly looking out for others, but is constantly making fun of me when doing so.

He'll be answering questions then he'll throw some shade, then I call him a naughty word.

But he does tell me about his Clothing line and about his SoundCloud raps, he also flexed his Anime Funko Pops and he had a full shelf of them. He makes me jealous sometimes

I heard about a story of him Mooning a friend or something? I'll make fun of him for that later.

Reason why they deserve this award: Starset was recently promoted to 4CPT after Spirit Week, I'd say this is really well earned. Transferring and Becoming an Officer in Elysium has brought some of the Light back into the Squad, it had no officers, and just a General named Artifice.

Starset came into the Squad with the determination and goal of Splitting the Squad and making it a better place.

He's been helping new members, training them to officers, and making a difference inside of the Squad. With his impact I do see how each and every officer can make a difference to a squad and make it better than before.

I hope others can learn from him and really bring his Motivating and light-hearted personality to other squads.

Reason why they deserve this award: He may not be a General anymore but he was a General for 11 Months, that's alot of dedication to the Squad, Division, and Community. Especially given a difficult task as rebuilding the officer core multiple times and still staying.

Being a general is a difficult thing to do, especially at a consistent basis of over 6 months, and when you constantly have low officers and low morale. It would be far easier to have a bigger squad and more officers and more morale, although that takes effort I would say that staying through all the drama of the last year, trying to save Elysium and putting your heart into the Squad. I believe Artifice should be the General of the month for this Division.

Spirit Week 2019 Final Update (Keep Until SW):

You now have exactly 1 week to get all of your divisional teams signed up for every event! This is a big deal so PLEASE stay on top of hosting tryouts and getting rosters organized. Late Sign Ups WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. We understand that Divisions may not have a team for every event but that is not an excuse to not participate in anything!

Subscription Push / Donor Event (Keep Until SW):

IMPORTANT: It is a huge, huge thing for us to have all the members who can subscribe/donate to our twitch channel (twitch.tv/KSILive). Subbing is only $5 per month or is absolutely free if you have Amazon Prime. All of the money donated goes right back into our annual events in the form of prize money, give-aways, and gift-cards. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBSCRIBED, please make sure that you have posted for yourself on the forums under the AAP section to receive your award and VIP access on the forums. This will be required in order to participate in any Donor Events for the foreseeable future.

Taking Initiative

They are two types of leaders when it comes to this topic. You have the one who will only do something when they are told to do something. An then you have the one who sees something that needs to be done an they do it no questions asked. Each an officer has put in the work to get where they are. We talk about change so I will end it with this if you want change then you be that change.

Mentoring 

Each officer from every squad will pick a member from their respective squad an they will be in charge of mentoring them to a officer position. The reason we are asking for this is because every squad is under staffed. An you've all said that the squads have potentials but where is the progress with them. 

Divisional Cup

So we are currently in second place in the standings. We are starting out slow an we are doing good but as always we can do better than good. So let's get out there an show everyone what DW is all about an let's get some participation in some of these events on the forums, signing up for weekend warefare an let's kick some ass in Spirit Week. No matter what I'm proud of each an every single one of you.
