    Reasons they deserve this award: Ever since I took lead with him, he has never let me down. No matter what silly thing I ask... no matter how late or how hopeless a situation is to me, he is there and available to play a game while we think tank it out.  He helps me navigate the chaos I see to come up with a plausible plan of action that can aim us twords success. He has always had the best of intetions for my ES family and I know with him he cares about us as a whole succeeding not just one person here or there.

    Reasons they deserve this award:Since coming back as our lead she has worked hard to guide our development and growth into a positive light, She has a hefty schedule though always is on point when it comes to communicating with both members and staff with questions or concerns regarding the future of their Division and squad. She is always willing to share knowledge she has gained through her own trials and tribulations to see people grow as both leaders and members, to watch squads grow instead of crumble. Constantly humbling herself and letting everyone know she is just another fool with an xbox here to have fun and play games, she is by far one of the most approachable leaders I have come across in my time in KSI.

    Reasons they deserve this award:Through my time working with him when he was our PO assistant, as well as moving up from the first series of PO Specialists, to being his divisions PO Assistant, I have never once heard this man falter in his devotion and dedication to his family. By family I mean his division, as each member matters to him.  He takes every opportunity to take something from a conversation that could help his division, and puts it in place. Every moment a place to learn, treating his members with respect and a nurturing kindness where you see leaders grow and thrive. You hop in his parties and it is all laughs even if you know personally he is dealing with alot, he always puts himself last and his DW family first and it shows with the love reciprocated from his members.

    Reasons they deserve this award: This man tirelessly with the world crumbling around him worked hard to attempt to put out the fires of a crumbling division around him. Through his home was falling apart, he met his people with love and positivity that you would never know there was anything wrong. Most people would need a break after having to endure such struggle, but he went to his new home and hit the road hard. SPreading his fun loving positivity there and keeping their eyes focused forward to the future.

    Reasons they deserve this award: I had the blessing of meeting this wonderful woman through PO, she has always been busy and worked hard for her members. Each day her plate would be full of mentoring and teaching, and not a moment when hurdles came her direction did you hear her vent her frustrations. She turned her eyes to the members and figured out a new approach to fix the problem at hand. She was always there to hop in parties, play with her members, and even went so far as to come to meetings from other divisions to learn as she has a never ending thirst for knowledge.

    Reasons they deserve this award: When I first came to ES, she was one of the only generals over here. She flet under trained, under staffed, overwhelmed and even though all of this her members loved her and valued all her hard work. Now not many can say someone who steps down only to climb back up is what you normally see in KSI, but that is exactly what she did. This time she asked questions, fought for her education, and made sure she understood everything before approaching the next step. She was more than ready when she got the reigns back to her squad and she has turned it into a powerhouse of family. She takes time to teach not just her staff, but the members so they arent left out of KSI knowledge. She goes above and beyond for them making sure if they cant make a meeting, that she takes the one on one time to give them the understanding and compassionate instruction only she can.

    Reasons they deserve this award:Through his tireless efforts he is constantly on call for his members. He dedicates so much time each week to the squad, but loves to spend one on one time with people, teaching and developing their knowledge in the community. When he came back on staff earlier this year, you could tell he had learned much in his down time. Never one to shy away from handing out praise to his members, he has always given encouragement and guidance no matter the personal price. He is by far one of the best teachers in this community I have had the pleasure to witness and know he could and will go far.

    Reasons they deserve this award: This man has quickly slipped from the quiet corners to the head of his staff. Always there to get things done and never letting the time difference get to him. Whenever you need anything done in his squad he is on top of it and goes above and beyond your expectations. He is one of the few that isnt shy to play with anyone and learn from those willing to toss out knowledge. You can see him picking up any and every game to make sure all the members of his squad, no matter their rank feel left out. I cant wait to see where he goes in the future.

    Reasons they deserve this award: When it comes to making sure that things are flowing perfectly on the forums this mand does it. Whether I had a silly mod question, or when he was over in ES training people how to better use the forums from his expertise. He thoroughly trains people on how to keep the forums safe as well a fun place to be, banning those who wish to be butts and putting little “King was here” bits on people profiles. When it comes to him, he was always my go to on any question or issue on the forums throughout the entire year.

    Reasons they deserve this award:Through my dealings with him on the join/rejoin staff as well as in AAP, Kam has never been anything other than positive and uplifting to his fellow members and staff. He is always there with words of encouragment and looking for ways that he can go the extra mile. Many times people forget that we all have a real life, but he has always been kind, patient, and respectful to all those he comes across...always leaving it a better place than when he came.

    Reasons they deserve this award:This guy has the heart of a saint. When he joins a party the energy increases 100 fold. He is always there for members, no matter where they are from in KSI to make them feel better, to help them in any way he is able. I have watched him beg and plead with staff to let him help, let him show his community love and he does. Everyone knows him over here in ES, and if you meet him you dont forget him easily. When he is your friend he is family, there to support you through the good, bad and ugly.

    Clan Ops Notes 

    Upcoming Tournament:

    Coming later on this month, KSI in collaboration with Xiled Syndicate and EGS will be hosting a tournament on Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The tournament will be closely following professional/competitive rules as best as they can. Each community will produce 3 teams to represent them with the Preliminary Tournament starting Friday, Dec 20th at 7 p.m est.     The official tournament,'Nades Out Tournament will take place Friday, January 10th 2020. 

     

    Proper Use of Chain of Command:

    The Open Door Policy allows members to speak with leader's on any issues or ideas. However, if the topic of conversation is related to a squad issue or altercation then it needs to be handled by the appropriate leader (according to the chain of command) . Officers in the staff should be initially notified. If the issue cannot be handled by them then that squads General needs to be contacted. Then it follows to the Co-Founder, Founder (If Applicable), to the Divisional Leader. The first point of contact will need the time and opportunity to handle the issue so until that occurs do not continue to skip rank. 

     

    Work continues (officers on up)

    We are nearing the end of the year again and things naturally start to slow down a bit. It is important to remember that there is still work to be done in order to help maintain our squads. It is really easy to start getting a little too relaxed and forget the little things like posting role call and doing promotions. So please as always have fun and continue helping out when and where you can we are all in this wonderful community together.

     

    Change Is Good:

    Change can be difficult at times but it is a necessary step in KSI’s progression. We know that sometimes changes happen and you might not always see completely the reasons for said change, if that is the case it is best to ask in a civilized way the reasons behind the changes instead of jumping to conclusions. As KSI moves forward with a progressive mindset it is important to keep an open mind when it comes to trying new things. 

     

    Leadership Development Class Sign-Ups:

     New class signup' s will start next month (Jan 2020).

    Let Them Learn:

    Sometimes we tend to cut corners and just go to someone higher up that you know has the answers or might feel more comfortable talking to, but in doing so it inhibits the person that if following the proper chain of command to learn and grow from experiences. That is the way that people learn how to handle situations if they don't know the answer they will find out and that is how people learn, that's how the people above them learned and know all that they know.

     

    Bye Bye Numbers:

    We  continue to grow and mature as a community and strive to improve ourselves. One of those areas is to get rid of old antiquated ideas doing it because that's how it's always been done. As of now there will no longer be a number cast system for LT's or CPT's the only 2 ranks in KSI that has had them. The numbers don't matter a LT is an LT but sometimes people get the idea that a 1st LT  is better than a 3rd LT but that isn't true. 

    This system will make things a lot easier for Gens when it comes time to promote someone up because it doesn't matter the amount of time someone is at said rank or their number it only matters who is doing the most work as it should be. 

    There will still be max one GEN, 3 CPT's, 3 LT's, and of course 3 SSGT's per each squad. In short, we hope that this will promote the ideal that the LTs and the Cpts are all equals and teammates without anything that could cause a divide among them.

    Performance Operations 

    When it comes to hosting workshops the Only Workshops That currently have an award are Forums Certified Workshop, Basic Training, New Member, Train The Trainer, Squad Leadership, and Divisional Leadership which these workshops fall into the CEP the other ones do not at this time.

    However when your posting for these awards make sure that you are posting them the correct area 

    For New Member Workshop it goes under the New Member Certified Nomination Topic

    For the remainder of the CEP They go in Multi Nom Department Awards 

     

    News & Marketing

    Apps are open please fill out an app and join the News or Marketing Teams. Would like to have a rep from each division. Would like to add a Rep from Dark Legions and Eternal Souls to our team.

    December Opinion Poll 2019 is up and come and vote for your favorite Christmas movie and tell us about it.

    T&E

    On  Saturday (14th December), T&E will be hosting a Modern Warfare: 3v3 Domination Tournament. The tournament will begin promptly at 8pm EST, with sign-ups closing two hours prior to the event. (6pm EST)

    Productions 

    The December Upload Studio Montage Competition and Clip Submission is open from December 4th through 25th. All clips submitted will be put into a monthly clip compilation and uploaded to YouTube.
