This is a must and needed meeting for SGT and CPLs are encouraged to attend. Tonight's meeting will be hosted by KSI GunSmokes and KSI Justy. They will see you there. Mr Bear 221 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Share Posted January 12, 2014 Currently an Xbox one squad is becoming more likely. A normal squad is made up of about 25+ members. Once that number comes into play, they will (from what I've heard recently) make intake the one squad and have us move to another squad. Correct me if I'm wrong. Until then I'd like any intake members to do their best at pushing out any messages from our higher ups, or any message that helps us as a squad; clan/web ops activity, inspirational messages, etc. Also, please send out messages about joining the forums and posting in certain topics as a bare minimum: roll call, squad chats, and our divisional chat. For a while now, I have realized that KSI has taught me many lessons to take charge when needed not only in KSI but outside of gaming as well. No matter what rank, its simple to say what needs to be said when it needs to be said. I know that my squad has been lacking in many area and I myself can admit that I have been lacking as well but as I just said, it is time for us as a whole to TAKE CHARGE. I hope that over these next few weeks we could see some improvement in recruiting, attendance, forum activity,and to increase our numbers in many other areas. To a lot of you this information may seem useless or may have no meaning to you such as recruiting, attending meetings, and staying active. This information plays like a broken record to us all and will remain that way until we know how to get it right. It is all an individual battle as a SGT to do his or her objective and is a battle the majority of us are losing to. Now may not be time for SGT's to take charge, but doing as you are told will shine to others and reflect to our leaders as the member who you are and the future member that you want to become. It could also show other members what they have to compete against and cause a chain reaction to all of the squad.Do what it given to you, and it will all add up in the future. Before I became a part of KSI I was in a couple of clans of which I ended up leaving a few weeks after joining due to a poor community. Now it's been about 4 months since I was recruited by -anonymous- and I must say I haven't felt like leaving once. There are great ppl in here and it is a vivid and diverse community. It has also been great to be a part of Octane and watch it grow during time and same goes with FI. Now with that said, I must admit that it has its flaws. Over time I've noticed a lack of communication and formations of cliques that just seem to cause some discomfort between players in this great community. All I'm saying is that I feel that more communication is needed and the stupid little problems that I see grow into anger and frustration can be avoided if we all just try to be friends because then again we are all a part of the same thing, Octane, Viper, FI, doesn't matter, we're all in KSI. " This a post by an old friend of mine, still a friend after he retired actually. FI has had problems, there HAVE been cliques. Obvious ones in fact, but I don't see those now. We struggled for a time but got through it, and people recognized us as a whole, as FI. We are a family, we protect each other, we help each other, we make this community based on how we want it to be and how hard we try to make it what we want it to be. So let's aim for it, greatness. Well worded my brotha there are quite a few members over here that have impressed me lately. Keep up the great work. You guys have a great leader here in intake who is wise beyond his years. There is alot that Fuzzy can teach you if you are willing to take the time and pay attention to the knowledge he is putting down. From what I see you have alot of potential in this squad and alot of you will be in leadership roles. One thing I have learned in life is set a goal achieve that goal and set the new goal higher. If you do this then skies the limit. Get these members in your squad more squad more active and you will see the difference it will make there will be more fun to have as well as personal and squad growth. I know a lot of you may say that you know the majority of what needs to be said about recruiting, but those may just be the basics. I will provide information that will make your future recruit feel welcome into the clan and even other ways as to where you can go recruiting. But just remember, if you recruit make sure that it is on a game with any competitive game modes similar to the Call of Duty franchise so that you can know how they react to surrounding as such. Although quantity is something we are desperately needing, quality is the most important key for potential success and a lasting, enjoyable time here in KSI. Whatever your method of recruiting is, please share with us for they could be techniques that may be simple ways about getting recruit that could help us a lot! Mr Bear 221 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 It comes with a sense of sadness and happiness that intake is becoming an xb1 squad. Sad because intake has been my home for a year now, since it was first thought of I was there, patiently waiting for it to happen. Octane splitting wasn't new to me, I've seen it many times before, but this time, this time there was a sense of greatness that I knew would come from this squad. Hearing of an evil Shinobi being the gen made this feeling seem all too real. I've heard of this officer from shift before, a very respected and highly qualified individual ready for the step to gen. It seemed as if he became a co Fo within a week... his strong words and discipline made intake known very easily, and for all the right reasons. Shinobi is one of the best generals I've had. And an even better co Fo. I couldn't possibly scratch the surface of how much quality he has with words. You see, there aren't enough words... He is, simply put, a leader. Second and current gen of intake, KSI FuzzyFinS. This man will lead you into hell, post up a camp site, and teach you without breaking a sweat. Casually joking the whole time. His way of commanding is, as I've stated before, different. He's strict and keeps everything on point, a fast learner, and overall potentially a soon to be 7. He is always there if needed, small issue or large he WILL help you. Some see him as a bit aggressive, but he just wants a hug... He understands members, and even if he didn't he'll do his damn best to try to understand. If I was to recommend anybody non 7 to a member to go to for advice, mentoring, or a friend, his name will be amongst the very first, if not the first, I mention. Fuzzy is a great leader, and I expect intake (xb1) to flourish in a short amount of time, always keeping quality over quantity. Now, I'm happy because of what intake has taught me. But, even more so because I know it will create a path into Xbox one that nobody will see coming. I am proud to be a former member of KSI Intake FI 360. And I will forever represent it, and respect the people who made it what it is today, and what it shall be. With a gen like fuzzy, and a captain like sniper. Sniper, you sir are the picture of what a Captain of KSI should be. I've never seen another cpt as dedicated as you, other than the great leaders stated above. I expect an xb1 squad run by you in the future, and with it, yet another root made here in FI to keep us strong. I will always be watching you guys, and I hope one day I can say that I am as great as the 3 of you. Good luck to you two, I wish you nothing but the best on your quest with Intake FI xb1.
