Productions desperately needs more streamers so if you have a capture card please go fill out an app .

 

 Security Risks

Please remember as the leader of the division it's your right to seurity risk anyone you deem nessisary . Please have evidence collected so you can present it to IA if they ask for it but security risk s are the divisional leadership call .

 

Forums activity and kik

A reminder officers in KSI need to have an active forums account , and also we are not a kik community you should not be sending your recruits straight to the kik chat your should be sending them to the forums , if your division is hurting forums activity wise then you should be limiting the kik activity to match.

 

 Spirit Week

Spirit Week is getting closer and closer . So we need to getting teams up for it in you divisions .You need to plan ahead and get your teams ready . Because it will be  here sooner then you know.

 

Working with others

We need to make sure that we are working efficiently with others . Although we may not get along with everyone in this community we have to work together in  a respectable Manor .If there is an issue between you and someone else please try to get a higher up leader to moderate a sit down between the two of you and talk it out.

Marketing

The marketing team has a new section on the forums where they would like members to post screenshots of gamenights lobbies or final game score boards so if you want to show off make sure you go post your screenshots .

 

Respect

There has been alot of disrespect going round especially when it comes to conversations directed towards leaders . You may not always like what a leader says or does but there is a proper way to go about confronting or talking to a leader . If disrespect continues actions will be taken.

LW Notes:

Participation:

Start participating in Weekend Warfare and 7s vs viewers. It's mandatory. It's fun, you can play with other divisions and meet new people. Everything gets posted on our social media pages. Encourage other members to sign up for Weekend Warfare. Take them to the Head Hunters section on the forums and sign up, be active within KSI. 

 

Gamenights:

It is mandatory for all officers to throw a gamenight once a week. Pick out any day you want that you're free. It'll keep activity within your squad. Also you can host a gamenight on LW Fun Night and it'll count for your one gamenight a week. 

With LW Fun Night you can host whatever type of gamenight you want. You can even host a Netflix movie night and it'll count as a gamenight. 

You can even host a comedy night for LW Fun Night. 

Any officer that goes 2 weeks without throwing a gamenight it's an automatic rank suspension. 

 

Roll Call: 

It is mandatory for an officer to post for roll call!!!

 

LW FunNight:

KSI MuddyGirl 7 will not chase anyone anymore for LW FunNight, it's YOUR responsibility, not Muddy's.

LW FunNight is mainly to have LW come together and get to know eachother. 

 

Kik:

Issues will NOT be taken care of over kik. 

 

Recruit tag:

Keep recruiting, there isn't really much recruits anymore. Sure incentives are nice and all, but we shouldn't need incentives. There isn't much declines. Everyone's doing a pretty good job and double checking before sending their recruits to the tag. 

 

BlackListed/SecurityRisked:

Make sure you go over the black listed and security risked communities during recruiting workshops and gamenights. 

 

Spotlight of the week:

Generals send out a message every week on the squad tag for member of the week to show appreciation for your members/officers. This will show some positive messages instead of always those negative security risked or black listed messages.

every please make sure you go read through our SoP and familiarize yourself with it if you have not. Bacon tastes like unicorns. A lot of valuable information can be found at ksiglobal.org so please go read through it. Another area to read through is the clan ops information Center in the fleet section on the forums

•Shoutouts

Let's make sure we recognize people for things they are doing you never know when someone's having a bad day and get on xbox to relax and it can make someone's day to see a shoutout

•Squad notes

These should be getting posted up each week, they are manditory, they should be a list of everything theyve gone over any promotions who attended and whatever else your gens feel is important. If your gens are not posting these then strikes and rank suspensions need to be handed out.

You guys have being giving poor goals, you guys need to give better goals on your stats and goals. "Get 5 recruits" isn't a goal. Start putting shout outs aftee your goals.

•Suicide squad

With 400 members in LW we only had 30 members wanting to participate. You need to push this and make people wanna be apart of this team. 

•Roll call

Generals responsibility for the officers to be posting In roll call. General and captains should be checking roll call to make sure everyone is posting. Work together to find a way to get everyone to post.

•Respect

We all have our bad days and we get irritated with each other but we need to start respecting each other more. Were a team.

•Game nights

Start hosting more Creative game nights. Make sure your at least hosting 2 but make them creative and fun! Make people wanna participate. 

•Recruit tag

Everyone pat yourself on the back, in the past week only 1 person has been denied Keep up the amazing work.

•LW Fun night

This schedule is already up, Muddy will be prepping her schedule for Saturday the 14th. If you would like to host a Game night please message KSI MuddyGirl 7.

Currently history news and productions are hiring if your interested go check out there respective areas on the forums.

Spirit week

Spirit week is coming fast so make sure your getting your teams together. Games you should be planning for should be halo and call of dutywe will have more information soon.

Productions game nights
Productions is looking for divisions to have there game nights live streamed anyone interested please go post in the productions area. Please give ample time for us to find a staff member to livestream your event.

Working with others
Please make sure that even if you don't like someone you are still able to work with them when needed. We understand you wont like everyone but it is imperative that we are able to tolerate and work with them on a day to day basis of build ourselves up as better leaders.

Please remember to go over and read through and explain the coc at least once a month at your generals meeting as well as at a squad meeting to ensure everyone knows and understands it.

Be sure that officers are throwing game nights and that fun and gaming are the first priority in your squad.

 Poaching

Please understand that when someone from another division comes and vents to you about problems or issues in there division it is absolutly not appropriate to talk up your division in an attempt to make the want to transfer. That is considered poaching and anyone caught doing that will be dealt with. 

Transfers

Please make sure as 7s your constantly checking the transfer area on the forums and also make sure that your memebers know the proper process for a division transfer. The memeber wanting the transfer can only be approved to post a transfer by the highest 7 in that division! Any transfers posted not following the template or going through the proper channels will be closed. Also please let your memebers know that publicly shaming someone in your transfer will not be tolerated and that there transfer will be closed and disciplinary actions will be taken due to severity. 

AAP hiring

AAP applications are currently posted. If you are interested in becoming a memeber of the AAP team please go fill out an application. Any questions please ask ksi Scotland 7 or ksi emmmy 7. 

Staff hiring

News team productions and history team are always accepting applicants. If any of those provoke your interests please go fill out an application in there respective areas

Spirit week 

Spirit week is right around the corner. If you haven't seen so yet we finally have the related shedual and games that will be featured. Please make sure you are getting your teams together. Not having a team for even one game means you miss out on participations points that can sometimes make or break your standings. 

Working together

Please make sure that you can work well with others. Part of being a leader means dealing with situations or people that may make you uncomfortable. What makes us better leaders is triumphing through said tribulations and learning from our experiences. If you have an issue with someone please tackle it head on by getting a higher up to sit in as a mediator and squash the situation. Letting things go and build up to the breaking point can destroy squads or divisions so make sure your constantly keeping an open line of communication and that you handle and problems as they come up

 

LW notes:

Don't stress, the more you stress the more issues its going to cause for yourself. If there's an issue and your getting extremely stressed out about it you need to talk to someone.

The recruit tag, hasn't been getting any requests. Only getting like 2 or 3 recruits a day. 

Everyone should be involved no matter what the rank is! 

Let's try to set up more cross squads/cross division game nights.

Leadership Notes 5/26/2016

Productions and News teams are still looking for new blood. If you are interested in writing or have a capture card you can apply in their respective areas on the forums 

Spirit Week: During Spirit Week we encourage all divisions to find teams without 7’s participation. There will be some surprises for the 7’s during Spirit Week, but remember unless it is a last resort we prefer teams consist of members at the squad level. Teams for Spirit Week will be: 3 man team on Halo Reach (360 & Xb1), 4-man team for Halo 5, 4-man team for BO2 (It’s possible that this might be changed to BO1 since it is backwards compatible).

  

5th Annual Spirit Week Videos:

               The winning video will be shown throughout Spirit Week to promote the event. It will also be posted on the YouTube channel.  All videos will be posted on the YouTube channel; however they all might not be shown on the live stream during the events.  The winning video will be determined by community vote. The video with the most votes wins!!!

  Requirements:

-        Video must be for KSI Spirit Week

 -        Video must say KSI Spirit Week 2016, or KSI 5th Annual Spirit Week somewhere in the video

-        Must represent all divisions (Last Strike, Demonic Mayhem, Dark Legions, Divine Reign, Wicked Intent, Forced Induction, Explosive Outlaws, Harmonic Destruction, Eternal Souls, Legendary Warriors, Maximum Punishment, Toxic Illusion, Infinite Kaos)

-        Must represent the games that are part of Spirit Week (Rocket League, Halo Reach, Black Ops 2, Halo 5, Black Ops 3)

 -        Must be at least 15 seconds long, and preferably under 1 minute long

-        The KSI Code of Conduct must be follow with all audio and video clips

There have been numerous ppl across ksi that have been letting their accounts go 5 or 6 days offline as a reminder if your account hits 7 days then that is an automatic 7 day rank suspension for ur first offense and demotion for ur second offense

T n e streaming game nights

If you are having a game night and u would like it streamed plz get in touch with the t n e staff at least 3 days in advance its a fun way to get ur div out there for others to see

Squad tags

As with g14 there have been a good number of squad tags that are going offline 4 to 6 days at a time that means new members arent being accepted messages arent getting sent out and its saying the gens arent being active, as a reminder there should be at min 3 messages a week being sent out from squad tags

Promotions

As a reminder we have the 3 5 12 rule for promotions that means 3 weeks in ksi to be a lt 5 weeks to be cpt and 12 weeks to be a gen. Ease make sure u r following these rules

Join area

Make sure your checking the join area and keep it updated. If you are trying to get a hold of someone and they aren't responding make sure you let it be known so that your division doesn't forfeit there rights to an app.

Transfer Area 

Make sure the highest member in a division is checking transfers regularly and if you know of someone posting a

inquire about it and post up you approved it when it gets posted

 

Weekly update

This week's weekly update will be the theme of workshops at 8 eastern on Friday night. Next week Friday the 10th will be a spirit week preview show followed by no weekly update on the 17th.

Spirit week is fast approaching so make sure your getting teams together for your division.

Make sure you are posting all meeting notes within 24-48 hours of the meeting being hosted

Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the template for stats posted in the leaders area and to also make sure that should you the highest leader in the division not be around you have another 7 that understands and can send in your divisions stats

The spirit week competition for productions is still going on with a deadline for videos of the 8th for more information check out the sticky post in the spirit week section of the forums.

Please make sure all squads are hosing there sgt workshops every week and also posting there notes and attendance as well as its encouraged that the 7s of a division also host some kind of workshop at least once a month.

Please make sure everyone understands that in order for you to be promoted you have to have someone behind tou that can replace you. Teach them everything you know about your current job so that they know exactly what needs to be done when they are the ones with that job

Work with others 

Please make sure that you can work with everyone even if you don't like them. It shows great leadership to work with others through situations and grows us as leaders in doing so

Spirit Week Minecraft
Remember the first event for spirit week is still going you have another week to work on your spirit week map. Each division can submit one map and gets a participation point for spirit week so make sure you capitalize on this opportunity while you can. The seed is spirit 

Officer staff
Make sure you are constantly reminding your generals to always be looking and training and having replacements ready. You never know when something can change so it's always a good idea to have backup plans.

Motivation
Make sure your always keeping a positive attitude because others look up to you. If you are always positive it can be infectious and spread like wild fire. A good way to boost morale is shoutouts

spirit week we(insert drum roll hear lol) 2 weeks away from spirit week kick off party if you haven't gotten your teams started yet (WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ) it's time to get started (list off the game type and team requirements)

-Recruit Tag; Been doing really well, just want to see more recruits coming in but KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

- For the next 2 Saturdays LW Fun Night will be all about spirit week. We want to be prepared so this is the opportunity to do so. Msg your general with any questions

- Remember to work as a team, rely on one another to help out. Officers are put in place to help out. There is no reason anyone should be stressing out.

-Show your appreciation. Every week send out messages to show your appreciation to a member in the squad. Appreciation = motivation.

- Spot Light of the week: these are something that MUST be sent out every Friday. Please turn your list in on Wednesday to KSI Poison IVY so she can get started on the video for the YouTube Channel. ( remember to ask the member if it is okay to put their name in the video)

-Spirit week; as stated before we will be using LW Fun night to practice and get ready for the upcoming week. This is an opportunity to get everyone pumped up and show members what spirit week is all about.

- Enthusiasm; When leaders are excited about something and are enthusiastic about it, that pumps everyone up. so be sure to be excited and motivating when talking about activities and events within the division. 

- If anyone would like to help out with the youtube channel, Please message KSI Poison Ivy or someone in the 7s staff for more information.

- Fun; we need to bring more fun to the table. if anyone has any ideas for fun games, throwback gamenights,etc. please let your officer staff know.

- Remember officers MUST throw one gamenight per week, and check in on officer roll call.

Things are going to be changing in the squad. If I'm taking the time out of my day to host a meeting i want you to be there with me cause not all the time is it going to be bad lecture stuff. (not said like that. this a sum up)

i want more game nights to be held and anyone can do it.

Spirit week minecraft
The spirit week minecraft build off ends Friday there is a topic in the t&e section that in order for your map to be considered elegance for a participation point someone needs to fill out the template and post up for there division. The judging will take place on friday so please make sure the map host can be around to show off the map they made and good luck! 

Teams
With spirit week almost here now would e a great time to get some teams set up in your division so that we can get headhunters more active and get some fun competitive squad on squad battles going. If anyone needs any help with setting up a team contact your director or check out the head hunters section on the forums. 

Officer tests
Some divisions are still using an old test for officer promotions that are very out dated. We need to stop using these tests due to them being old and no longer relevant. We will be working on getting new test made for division that would like to still use the tests but for the time being please do not use any old tests that may be floating around. 

Spirit week
We are a week away from spirit week so everyone should be finalizing there teams and sending out messages like crazy! Let's get pumped up for an amazing spirit week!

Spirit week video 
Make sure you let everyone know that The spirit week Video Contest Voting will be  closing on Saturday. That means make sure you let everyone know to go cast there votes in the spirit week section on the forums.  The winner will announced on Sunday, and video will be shown the rest of the days until Spirit Week.

Make sure you push the social media at your meeting as it will be a big part of spirit week this year. We are encouraging everyone to use the New Hashtag for the 5th Annual KSI Spirit Week which is  #K5I

LW Notes

Recruit Tag:  GREAT job on the recruiting over the past couple of weeks, this is what we LOVE to see. Currently there have been about 80 recruits since it started. Remember it ends July 7th

       From ascend: Since he has heard there has been a little bit of a squad battle going on between Achilles and Hypnos with recruiting, he placed another little competition. Whatever squad gets to 30 by Sunday, will get to chose his outfit,etc for the running man challenge he is going to do in honor of spirit week.

-MVP: every week this is something that will get added to your squad stats and goals. Pick someone who has been of importance to the squad that week. The 7s will read them and pick one they will add to their own stats they turn in to the directors.

- Spotlight of the week; this is still something all generals need to do. Your spotlight should be turned into KSI Poison Ivy on Wednesday and your message about the spotlight needs to go out by 8pm est on Friday.

- LW Fun Night; this weeks LW Fun Night will be geared towards spirit week. Showing everyone what to look forward to in the upcoming week. Also, please make sure everyone knows, it doesn't matter what rank you are, if you would like to hold a game lobby for LW Fun Night please let your General know. We are looking for more creative ideas when it comes to game type and game play.

-With spirit week remember, its going to be all about fun. Great opportunity to be apart of some fun competition, and wins some great prizes. Please check at the Spirit week section on the forums for more info.

Back to the grind

Now that spirit week is over its time to get back out to the grind and get things moving in your division again. We were a little lax with g14 and squad tags this last week but now we need to pick up the pace and get back put there. Remember 7 days off g14 or squaD tag is an automatic rank suspension so make sure you get back into the flow. 

Lockdown

Please remember we are still on lockdown which means all parties and games need to be on invite only as well as you should be taking extra precautions when doing security checks on new recruits. If anyone has any questions about what to look for during a security check please contact your director and they can further explain what needs to be done during a lockdown.

It's finally back! The AAP awards system is back up and running which means you can now go nominate your fellow memebers who you think has gone above and beyond for awards! Please remember to read the criteria for each award before you make a nomination and remember anyone can nominate someone for anything but only some cam actually witness so if you would be a good witness have someone else make the nomination for you.

We've said it before but squad based kik chats should not be used. All they do is lead to more issues down the road. If you have a memeber that gets butthurt about something all your doing is creating a fast means for them to relay there issue to everyone and then watch a chat pick sides. Let's get away from as many kik chats as possible.

Tolerance

A key important aspect here in ksi is tolerating other people and learning to work with them on a professional level when you have to. You will not always like peers around you but it is imperative that you still act civil around them epically in the company of others.

Squashing issues

It's important to not keep things bottled up until you explode. I'd you don't agree with someone of some thing said confront them in a professional matter. It is okay to reach out to a higher rank if you don't feel comfortable to sit in and mediate the conversation but it is very important to make sure you address issues as they come up so that they do not build up and cause a tear in your squad or division. Remember communication is key!

B. That they are ACCEPTED first before being trained up 

This is the LAST warning about b. That poses a secruity threat here in LW. If it happens anymore the officer to do so will be rank suspended.

- Lw members who are now on T&E will be holding a small tournament here kn LW. Once i get all of the details i will make sure everyone has them.

Communication is lacking majorly here in LW. Generals should be getting with no only there officers (besides meeting days) but also with other generals. This can help bring in new ideas, solve any issues between squads and improve the overall running of the division.

There are many recruits that need to be trained off, let's make sure we are getting them off in a timely manner. Nobody should have to wait weeks before finally getting trained off. The T&E team does their best to schedule games that are different and that people will enjoy competing in, as well as focusing on ensuring that the 360 is still able to take part in these events. Encouraging these sign ups would help recognize their effort.

•Department Join Area:

News, Graphics, and Productions are always hiring. Their topics are locked because when you apply for them, you have to copy and paste the application as a new topic in this area.

Some applications will open and not be locked, such as AAP, Court, and Moderators, where you can post the application in the same topic. However, those applications are not open.

If you ever have a question about an application and how to apply, simply open and read the topic. They will explain what to do in the directions.

 

•Recruit Tags:

Recruit tags are optional. Of course you need to speak with your director about the use of a recruit tag in your division.

Recruit clubs: are based on the recruit tag with the tag holder as the admin. Only FO or higher need to be admins in this club.

TI recently implemented the Recruit Club and has grown steadily and impressively since then, so they must be doing something right. Don't be afraid to try something new.

Whole divisions can be rewarded through this program with awards such as;

•Growth:

Pay attention to trends in your divisions and prepare. As we all know, we as a community always grow around the holidays because more people are home and on Xbox. But if we pay attention to when we shrink and know what's about to happen, we can prepare for it.

Always have backups ready. Have backups for your backups. Plan for the future. Each rank should be looking for someone who can replace them, approximately two ranks below them to be sure we are holding our community to high standards. Generals should be able to look at lieutenants as future generals. Co-founders should be able to look at captains as future co-founders. Etc.

 

•Goals:

Fill up officer staffs. This means LTs and CPTs. Keep in mind that we try to keep our officers limited to 1 officer for every 10 members to help evenly distribute the workload and relationships. However, this does not have to apply in EVERY situation.

Weekend Warfare:
This week's Weekend Warfare will be on Halo 5. It will be a Swat Free For All on the Xbox one. Please sign up on the forums under the T&E section. Sign ups will end at 7:30 pm est

February 11 will be a Valentine karaoke. Instead of singing about love, sing us a break up song.

Spring break:
Spring break is coming up soon and there will be multiple Free For Alls and MineCraft build offs. More info will be discussed when that time further approaches.

Spring break recruiting competition:
There is a recruiting competition going on until April 7th. The Division that grows the most will be running for the awesome prizes!
The only way that divisions will stay in the running will be only if they maintain their fluff.
The first Division that grows 100+ members without any fluff wins!

Spring Bowl:
The spring break weekend starts on April 7th and will be similar to KSI's annual "Turkey Bowl"
This Spring Bowl will mainly focus on the Free to play Xbox games like smite, Warframe, Happy Wars, etc

Weekend Warfare:
This Saturday, Weekend Warfare will be held on Halo Reach on February 18th and it will be a Free For All & Black Ops 2 and that will be a Hardcore Free For All

Next Saturday there will be a Smite 3v3 tournament.

Happy Hour:
On February 17th Happy Hour will be hosted on Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered. Message KSI Ascend 7 if you'd like an invite into Happy Hour to participate.

The divisions who have done so are WD, TI, DL, DR, & EO. Good job.

However, that is less than half of our divisions.
