Its more important than we make it out to be. As a Sergeant, you are the first stop for ALL RCTs, PVTs and CPLs. It is your responsibility to know these members. A Sergeants responsibilities are as follows: · 1. Recruit new members into your squad · 2. Keep the RCTs, PVTs and CPLs active · 3. Handle any issues amongst the RCTs, PVTs and CPLs before it gets to the SSGs or the LTs Recruiting Process · Find a recruit using 1 of the 2 ways o Mass messaging after playing a few games o Playing until you find a player who you really like and who communicates with you · Once you find a recruit via message or one-on-on contact, get them into a party. · Ask them their age in Birthday format. (MMDDYYYY) o 14 > - inform them that you are glad they are showing interest in joining but due to age restriction they cannot be recruited until they turn 15 o 15 – You need to inform them that a 15 year old needs to be approved and then you invite a 7 into your lobby so they can approve or disapprove your recruit o 16 < - Then you just go ahead and proceed with process. · Read and explain the Code of Conduct, ensure they do not have any questions. If they do then answer them. · Have them change their security settings: Go into Secruity/Online settings and select Customize o 1st Block - Others can see when you are online – Set to Everybody o 4th Block - Others can see your xbox live profile – set to Everybody o 8th Block – Others can see your friends list – Set to Friends Only · Have them change their LOCATION: KSI RUTHLESS DM RCT o KSI (Squad Name) (Division Initials) (Rank) o Think of it like an address · Have them change their BIO: Recruited by KSI yourname on MM/DD/YY. · Have the recruit add the Recruit tag: KSI DM RECRUIT · Explain that if there are any issues they need to follow the Rank Structure meaning they need to go to a Sergeant first. KSI Lotta 8 Posted February 10, 2016 Report Share Posted February 10, 2016 Workshop : Recruiting Workshop Host: KSI LOTTAROSE Attendees: KSI KEYZ, KSI LICIOUS, KSI ROCKSTAR90, KSI JETWOLF Topics Covered/Summary: This was a relatively short workshop, due to my illness. We covered the main issues which arise when recruiting or 'interviewing' potential recruits. I ran over common questions in terms of membership to the kik chat, what to look for when someone could be lying to gain membership to KSI. Various things which I think are important - I asked general questions to the group and then to individuals. The turnout was low and at times it was difficult to get attendees engaged. I finished off with a piece about how I want people to change their image of recruiting, I feel sometimes it is seen as high pressure etc and then people are put off doing it. I want to remove that pressure. My best 'recruiting' has been done when I wasn't thinking about it. I was simply matchmaking with a couple of my fellow KSI family! I feel this is something I want to raise at the next Officers Meeting. I felt that the lobby understood and were receptive to this way of thinking.
